Problem with several quizzes

Hi,
I need several quizzes in one project. For this reason I
generated some Question Pools and added random questions to my
project slides. My problem is that I want an extra quiz for each
question pool. But the quiz ends when all questions are answered
respectively it ends when the questions of the first block are
answered (and it is not possible to answer later questions). So
questions from several question pools are used for one quizz.
I'm not sure if I explained my problem well. So fell free to
ask if you don't understand anything.
Another problem is that I want to assign slides when the quiz
ends. So I defined slides in the question preferences (under "Pass
or Fail"). Is it possible to make different settings for different
quizzes?

You might want to ask your LMS administrator if they can tell
you what Captivate is storing in the suspend_data value to make it
go over the limit.
A guess is that Captivate is trying to store the values for
each interaction (the "Report interactions and the score" option in
Quiz Manager ), which would get big pretty quick on a long test.
If that's the case, your only option aside from creating
smaller tests would be to either not randomize the questions, or
forgo tracking individual interaction information and just store
the user's overall score.

Problem with several occurence of same ToolTip

For a test form, I am using Dreamweaver CS4 Spry Tooltip Widgets. In this form, I need to have several occurence of a same Tooltip. All works fine. But there is a problem with the W3C validator, which returns the error: id "sprytrigger2" already defined. Any help to help me on that
problem is welcome. Many thanks.

An "id" is a unique identifier. Each time this attribute is used in a document it must have a different value. If you are using this
attribute as a hook for style sheets it may be more appropriate to use classes (which group elements) than id (which are used to identify

If you are using true ToolTips, you have a different location for each on your page.
I would not personally worry about the additional variables adding much to your code.
But if you are concerned, and the messages are really all the same, you could do a show/hide and use an absolute positioning:

But if you changed this to class="Okay" and altered the style to suit, remembering to make an item with an id of 'Okay' somewhere on your page, this should work, too. Play around with it. I did not customize this for your purpose. Note that I have a 'close' text link. You would put your text in this div, not necessarily as a link, but you would need a link to close it. I think you will need to add this as a behavior, so you get the appropriate javascript on your page.
I didn't work with this long enough to suit your uses, but you should be able to jimmie around with it to make it work. Because the position is set in relation to the div of the 'trigger' text, you might need to have each 'trigger' in its own div.
Personally, I would go the ToolTip route and let Dreamweaver do my positioning for me.

Using Firefox 7. Can log on and run problem for a while, then get message "Not connected. Trying to re-connect" But it never succeeds in re-connecting. If I exit Firefox and re-launch, it cures the problem. Get this problem with several different PCs

Chrome works fine. Haven't got desperate enough to try IE.
Friend reports similar problem with her system, which is not connected to mine.

* In the page that appears, in the Filter box, type network.http.max-connections.

Graphics Problems with several games!!!

When I turn antialiasing on and run Unreal 2 and Raiven Shield, I can see some "corrupted pixels" or something like that on my screen!!!Can someone HELP me?

As I see you use det.XP drivers 43.45. I have read many topics on different boards people having rendering problems with this drivers in games.
When I have upgraded to 43.45 I have experienced 10% performance drop in 3DMark2001SE and also some problems in Line of sight - Vietnam.
Your problem could be in this drivers. Get 41.09 - for me, this is the best drivers released so for for NVIDA cards.

LV2011 problem with several front panels

There is a bug in my software and I don't know it is common to every one or not. This not to be worry, I will notify you anyway. When I open only one front panel and one block diagram which having a program to communicate with a serial device. In this case, if I choose the VISA resource name, it obviously takes some time to popup the USB and after it show the port and front panel will stay in front you until you choose the device. Here, every thing is fine but when I open several front panels and working on only with serial program front panel to choose the serial device in VISA resource name. Then after some time, it took me to another front panel. I have seen this problem several times in past two months. More, even when I am decorating the front panel and front panel took some time after pushing some controls and switched another front panel.
Is this bug? Or I common for every one.
Using labVIEW 2011.

I am certainly using labVIEW from two months. So, I did not use MAX in my past time. I only used one time to check my USB 6008 device but this is off topic here. I will tell you down here.
Suppose, If I open multiple VI's and I am only working with one VI that can communicate with my SERIAL device and the rest of the VI's(Block diagram and front panel) are rested. This case, if I click the drop downlist of "VISA resource name" of SERIAL VI, then it took some time(200ms or 100 ms, just it is a guess) to populate and it is switched to another front panel which were opened and rested before. Again, I need to come to my serial front panel again to select the COM port. This is one case.
If don't have any other VI's not opened than this serial Vi. Then it stays on the same front panel.
Is this bug came with labVIEW or is it common?

One-to-many relationship: problem with several tables on the one side...

I'm having problems developing a database for a content management system. Apart from details, I've got one main table, that holds the tree structure of the content ("resources") and several other tables that contain data of a particular datatype ("documents", "images", etc.). Now, there's one-to-many relationship between "resources" table and all the datatype tables - that is, in the "resources" table there's "resource_id" column, being a foreign key referenced to the "id" columns in the datatype tables.
The problem is that this design is deficient. I can't tell form the "resource_id" column from which datatype table to get the data. It seems to me that one-to-many relationship only works with two tables. If the data on the one side of the relationship is contained in several tables, problems arise.
Anybody knows a solution? I would be obliged.

Purchase Requisition Overall Release problem with several CostCenter

I need your comments!!!
I define the Purchase requisition as Overall Release, and woks !! but I have a Issue.
I have an entry in the CL24N txn as follow:
AccAssgCat = K
Plant              = CC01
CostCenters = 10001
                        10002
                        10003
totalAmt        = 1USD to 1000US
So when I create my purchase requisition with only 1 Cost Center the release strategy is called and PR can be released.
But When I create the purchase requisition with CC 10001 and 10003, the requisition is not subjet to release!!! (note TotalAmt = 15usd)
I assume that as both are into the release strategy the system will take both CC and ask for release!!
What I can do to fix this situation??

I have never faced your issue, but have an idea of what you can do.
Activate Enhancement M06B0005   EXIT_SAPLEBND_004
Then in the program zxm06u31 put the following code line:
e_ceban = i_ceban.
and also a breakpoint so that it stops automatically upon PR verification or saving.
Activate and then create a PR with the problem you are facing. On saving the program will stop in your breakpoint.
Look at structure i_ceban there you will find the values that your release strategy is getting from the document and with which it will try to determine the strategy based on your classification.
I the standar logic is not what you want maybe you can put some logic of your own based on account assignments in structure C_EBKN.

Problems with several statements in one servlet

I use the jdbc:odbc bridge driver, and an Access database. I'm making a webshop, and everything is working except for one thing: I can't insert several OrderItems at the same time.
I have a basket structure, where I have several OrderItem objects. In these objects, I have product_id, price, quantity etc in each object.
My database have to related tables, Order and OrderItem. I first insert a new order into the Order table. That works. Then I try to read the Order table to find the highest Order ID, which will then be used when I insert data into the OrderItem table.
The problem is that if I add any more statements to the same servlet, I get a Invalid Cursor type error.
This is the code that works:

Simply try after your INSERT a dummy query like
"SELECT 1 FROM <yourtable>"

Problem with several stored values in nvarchar!

One friend asked me to help him about a query which needs to join some three tables. There is an nvarchar valued column in the main table that contains several id's need to be joined to another table. For example the value is that '18,20,1,26'. I've found
a query on a simple nvarchar that seperates id's which is on stackoverflow. but when querying there is surely more nvarchar's.
My problem is at that point and I got puzzled: when querying there are much more results rather than single nvarchar. How can I query it?

Some misunderstandings occurred. I want to clear some aspects. That db is a university db. By the time db firstly released, it wasn't thought some problems could happen. That is one of them. I found that query from a site which I mentioned before.

It can divide the int's in the varchar variable @products.But when querying the real data form db how it can be done? There are some additionals:
we have four tables which are related to each other. In one table there is an nvarchar valued comma seperated data for example '1,15,25,89' which are the id column of another table. But as you can see we need to seperate them while query is running and
join those values to that "another table". My friend sent me a sample query which gives the following result.
Msg 245, Level 16, State 1, Line 1Conversion failed when converting the nvarchar value '1,2,10,11,12,13,14,15' to data type int.

Problem with advancing quizzes

I have created a 67 slide project that includes 38 quiz slides. I have 5 different sections that branch from one slide. Almost everything time (but not every time) when I publish, quiz slides get skipped (It is not always the same slides that get skipped).
Another problem I have is sometimes when I go to different quiz slides I get an error immediately upon opening the slide that the question must be answered before continuing but it doesn't give me the option of answering.
Another problem is that on quiz slides after I had answered a question and submitted, I used to be able to click anywhere to continue but most of the time (but again not all of the time) when I click somewhere nothing happens. I sometimes can move forward using the forward button on the bottom but this doesn't seem to always work.
I have been in contact with Adobe Support and have been working on this problem since April 4th with no successful solutions. I would appreciate help to get this project completed!

Perhaps you can check whether this might be causing your issue.
Another thing to try is to make your question slides a little longer (e.g. 5 or 6 seconds) and set the pause point further into the timeline (e.g. 3 or 4 seconds) so as to give the question longer time to set up before the user is required to answer.
On occasions I have also had success by placing another blank slide of one or two seconds duration between each of the question slides. This seems to give Captivate longer to process the quiz slide data.
If your content is being served from an LMS, the issue may be latency due to the server being unable to process the interaction data and send back a reply in the time required. You can try using the SendTrackingDataAtEnd template instead of the standard one. This can significantly reduce the load on your LMS server and improve responsiveness.

We have SAP ERP 2004 running on a Oracle DB 9.x and we face a strange behavior of our system. Sometimes it is very slow. MB51 with 1 Material and 1 Month as selection runs into timeout. But i faced the most significant (or strange) problem using SE16 with table bseg. If i use Company code, one item number and year as a selection, it is very fast. If i put in 2 items numbers instead of one, it takes 15 minutes to show the result. This happens everytime i try it.
For me it looks like the system is doing a sequential read instead of using the proper index. This "wrong index" behavior could be the source of many of our performance problems.
Does anybody have a suggestion for me, how to fix this problem?

As mentioned above you can active trace with ST05 to monitor the problematic SQL request. With the explain function, you will see the estimated cost of the request and the used index.
An other way is during the execution of the request --> ST04 -> performance -> Wait event analysis -> Session monitor
If you use the IN option, your request could be very expensive. And in many cases, the reads can only performed with sequential access.
For an overlook of possible indexes for a table, you can use the DB05. To interpret the results : an index is representative when you have numerous distinct values for a few 'rows per generic keys'

Having Various Problems With Several Sites ("sort by" for ex)

Note: these problems started recently without changing anything in FFox.
Examples:
HomeDepot.com: "sort by" feature stopped working. Also cannot change number of listing per page.
USPS.com: could not print shipping label. Instead of a PDF label popping up, I was prompted to save as or open with "com.usps.cns.web.pdf.labelgeneration servlet". USPS told me to remove everything after ".pdf"
Another site (can't remember which): after filling out a form, pressing "submit" did nothing.
So I:
Turned off Adblock extension
Disabled NoScript extension
Updated JAVA to the latest version
Tested w/ Opera, same problem
Tested w/ IE, worked but now my hands feel dirty!

Restart FireFox in safemode which disables all addons/extensions so you can enable one by one until it reoccurs allowing you to isolate the problem.

Has anyone else had problems with severe dropped calls since updating to IOS 5.1?

I have just updated my phone today and have had nothing but dropped calls. I thought this update was supposed to make my AT&T connection better. What's going on Apple????

Ever since I updated to iOS 5.1 my connection has dropped down to what I was getting with my older iPhone 3g. With Apple eliminating the rollback option my feeling is that we are SOL until the powers to be determine that we are not (a) crazy (b) stupid or (c) unable to realize that the phones have always performed this way.

I'm having lots of problems with my Macbook, don't know where to start.

I've got an Intel Core 2 Duo Macbook, about 4-5 years old, running 10.5.8. It's set up with two logins, one each for my wife and I. We're having problems with several things:
Every time I open a PDF, Acrobat asks for my administrator password and reinstalls itself.
We use OpenOffice - but every time we quit the application, it opens right up again and recovers the last doc we were working on.
We use two airport express routers - one to create the wireless network and run the printer, one to stream music to the stereo, mostly via Airfoil. It seems overly complex, but the cable comes in one end of the house through the basement, and the stereo is at the other end of the house upstairs, and it worked fine until last week. We've lost contact with the stereo AX, and even plugged in with an ethernet cable I can't set it up - I can go through the menus, and when I try to finalize everything it just sits there blinking amber and eventually I lose the connection with the AX in the basement too - but I get it back upon restarting the computer.
My wife is having problems with copying and pasting in Firefox/Yahoo mail using her login, but I can't duplicate them in mine.
Firefox forgets things in my login that it remembers in hers - like it won't ever open to my homepage, always the "thanks for updating" page. I've googled that and found a few references to the problem, and tips for fixing it (deleting a few files), but they haven't worked for me.
We have intermittent problems with permissions - occasionally I can't write to a folder I created.
In the past I've been able to download HD video direct (without converting) from my Panasonic Lumix LX-5 camera through iMovie, but last time I tried the files were greyed out and unavailable.
A few months back everything froze and it wouldn't start up. A friend, who is a Mac IT guy, had a look at it and reinstalled the system, and it's worked ok since, with the exceptions noted above. We do back up regularly with Time Machine, and for most of the time I've had the macbook I used Saphos antivirus, until I read it could cause problems with Time Machine, at which point I uninstalled it.
I'm not a computer guy, I just want to have a reliable machine I can use every day without having to sit down and reconfigure some settings to get it to work. I have no idea whether these problems are related, or totally random, or a result of something I did. I half want to just forget it and replace the laptop and the one AX I can't get to work, but if it's a relatively simple fix, I'd realy prefer not to spend the money right now.
Any recomendations would be appreciated, and feel free to ask for further information - hopefully I'll be able to provide it!

Just curious. Have you opened disk utilities application in the utility folder and select your drive, and run repair permissions. This may or may not help. It also may take awhile if it has never been done. Good luck!
