Problem with SharePoint metadata (People Picker) in Adobe Reader X.

Have a problem related metadata that is in SharePoint 2010 when I try to upload a PDF from Adobe Reader X (Online site). I have a few mandatory fields such as; Document Owner, Document Type, Date, etc..
When I save the PDF to a document library, so fetches Adobe metadata from the designated document library. I am forced to fill in my field, but when I get to document owner field the people picker don´t work. So I can not complete the transfer/upload of the
document.
Any ideas or solutions?!?!

Hi Anders,
What did you mean for “upload a PDF from Adobe Reader X (Online site)”? Whether you mean that the SharePoint 2010 site is an online site.
Per my knowledge, when you upload document into SharePoint, the metadata of the documents cannot upload to SharePoint. If you are using a third solution or party tool, I suggest you ask the third solution or party tool support for help.
In addition, I am not an Adobe Reader expert, I suggest you ask the Adobe Reader support for help.

I have created a fillable form to use for our business. Our Tech's need to access these forms when working on job sites. I am able to access it on our Android Tablet via Adobe Reader, but all of the fields don't add/calculate Is there a particular version of Adobe we should download to the Tablet in order for this to work?

Adobe Muse - Big problems with SEO/Metadata?

I recently completed mysite using adobe muse but I'm having major problems with the metadata tool, essentially it does not work.
I cannot find my site anywhere on google unless I type in the domain itself despite the fact that I have inserted a full description and several keywords. When it does appear the description isn't what it's supposed to be. Rather than take the actual description it just takes a paragrapgh from my site.
Does the metadata option on Adobe Muse actually work? Has anyone used it successfully. Seems to be a major flaw in the Adobe Muse product.

I am trying to learn this Muse..seems very positive but I cannot figure out how to do seo with muse as I have not figured out where to insert Meta info , header info or tags like i can with WordPress. Do you have any suggestions on this...also, have you had any luck with contact forms in Muse?..is it possible to export some of the new widget features of Dreamweaver CS6 into muse somehow.
Maybe I cab aleady do contact forms..Im I overlooking it?

Problem with naming certain people in Faces

When I am using the Faces feature of Aperture 3, I have a problem with naming certain people. In particular, if I want to name someone "Tommy", I type a "T" but instead a "D" appears. If I type a "T" again then the correct letter will appear but the first letter will always be a "D" if I press "T". So when I type "Tommy" on my keyboard I see "Dommy" instead. Does anybody else have this problem?

Yes. I thought it was because I had originally changed someone's name (Tave to Dave) and it still picked up old first letter. Workaround is typing two T's then erasing the first incorrect one. But appears we have a bu.
I have other issues too. I have many Dave's and Jim's and I can't figure how to tell which one is.
Maybe someone can remind us how post a bug report.

Problem with installing Photoshop elements 9 and adobe support advisor

Hi, I've received a graphic tablet with 2 programs: the first has been downloaded and works perfectly while the second, PSE9, has been giving me problems for at least a week!
I downloaded it and now I have a winzip file full of strange things (one of this is set up exe which tells me that I have to install adobe support advisor) and two files which said 3DF.tmp and PSEP9(1).zip.download and if I try to click them they tell me that I have to find on the Net the program to open them because I can't. And I don't know which program is required.
I tried a lot of times to download the adobe support advisor, I have enough space on my disc and my farewall is deactivated, but when the program begins I saw this annoyant message

with this code for a support from adobe 00-67325-032018052012
I unistalled it and retried, but nothing.
Please, I just want to use my tablet with the programs which are comprised in the package, why it's so difficult to download this damn photoshop elements 9????????????

In the error message it doesn't tell me
"Installer has detected that a machine restart is pending. It is recommended that you quit the installer, restart try again,"
neither "Installer failed to initialize. File not found. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem."
and I have enough space and I have Windows xp then I should be able to install it. I tried to unistall and install again the support advisor but nothing. I'm desperate.

Some things to try...
Using Windows Explorer navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader, then double-click on Eula.exe and accept the license agreement
Can you open Adobe Reader by itself? If so, try disabling Protected Mode [Edit | Preferences | Security (Enhanced)].
If you cannot open Reader by itself, try to disable Protected Mode in the registry; download, unzip, then run the attached registry script
It could even be a malware issue; see http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/reader-core-dll-error.html

Have a problem with a brush preset picker in CS5

Have a problem with a brush preset picker. By right click over your document (if you using brush or cloning tool) it’s open, so you choose a brush and size. But in new version, if your option bar is in different monitor (I am using two monitors one has my working area – document, other one tools), its open only in that monitor, where is a option bar. Supposed to open over your working area like it was in CS4. Seems to me, it’s not recognizing second monitor.

My graphic setting is OK, my CS4 is working fine. I thing it's a bug in new version.

I followed the FAQ troubleshooting and that didn't help

Here is what worked for me:
My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc.

Problem with a signature field available in Adobe acrobat and absent in READER

i just created a couple of pdf forms with adobe acrobat 9 standard and authorize the people who will fill in these forms to sign them. My properties are correctly done and i can clearly see that signing is allowed from adobe acrobat. I tried to sign it and it worked.
I asked someone to fill in the doc and sign it with adobe reader and although he could filled it in. no option were available to sign on his end. It clearly stated in the security properties that signing is not allowed.

Do you any suggestion for me knowing that these docs need to go public very soon.

SharePoint 2013 People Picker to Send Email

I am having trouble finding a solid answer so I'm hoping someone here has it. Some questions get close, but something isn't matching up.
Here is the need:
User fills out a form in a SharePoint list. (the form does not ever open in InfoPath, though that is where it is designed)
User selects an Account Manager using a People Picker field. This works just fine.
User submits the form.
The submit button has rules that send the email to a user, the same Account Manager that is selected in the people picker.
I cannot use a workflow for this because the form is already designed and lots of time
has been put into all the rules and controls on it. The form must be used.
I've been able to use the secondary data connection method to query the User Information List and I did get that to work, but only in the preview mode of InfoPath 2010. I'm thinking the query doesn't ever happen while editing/submitting the form on the SharePoint
web site. If the User Information List query would work while on the SharePoint website view of the form, that would be the missing link. Is that something one could do?
What am I missing? I feel like it should be easier than this to send to an email address based on a people picker selection.

Within the InfoPath client, you should be able to define the data connection to pull from the UPA (http://blogs.technet.com/b/anneste/archive/2011/11/02/how-to-create-an-infopath-form-to-auto-populate-data-in-sharepoint-2010.aspx), then use a Submit action
to send email to the user in the PeoplePicker control.

Problem with Grouping in Interactive Forms by Adobe

Hey Guys!
I have a problem using the group function for a table in Interactive Forms by Adobe and I have not found a solution yet, so I hope anybody can help me.
I've created the table in the LiveCycle Designer using subforms and I want to use the group function for a specific field of my table. Now the problem is that the entries of the table are not shown grouped for the same values of my specific field but there is still one row for each entry. How do I have to edit binding, flow etc. for the subforms of a group?
I hope anybody can help me or provide me a better solution.

I'm sorry the 'grouping function' I've announced is called 'control levels' in English I can set this function for a field of a table in the context of the form in the transaction SFP in SAP. Then in the hierarchy the field is displayed above the group of the other fields of the table. Usually in the form this should lead to a 'grouping' for the specific field so if you have identical values there is just one entry in the form and all the rows that have this value should appear behind. My problem is that there is still one entry in the form for every row.
Right now I'm using the solution you mentioned with the nested tables but i have some problems with the layout and page breaks (pagination).

Problem with "Submit to SAP" button in Adobe Form

Hello All,
I have a problem with my Adobe form. The "Submit to SAP" button for some reason does not seems to work in the newer forms. Whenever I click on the button, no action is being triggered. However, when I load older version of the same form, the button will respond.
Has anyone come across similar situation before ? Any suggestions/feedback will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Bhavik,
I created different version of the forms (Eg: added new logo, additional table rows etc...) by using the save a copy function in adobe designer. Seems that the original one works but the later ones will no longer respond to the button.
The submit action is also correctly specified in the property of the UI Element. Otherwise it will not work on any forms... is my understanding correct ?

Joining/hosting problems with two particular peopl...

I have a skype issue with just this one particular person, where if I or the particular person try to host a group call, the other person can't join and experience no sound, then get kicked out of the call. Rejoining didn't work, uninstalling didn't work, and different computers didn't solve the issue. Group calls work fine when other people host.
