Problem with Skip lot

Automatic TO creation is active for Goods Receipt (101) for external procurement and works fine for all materials.
But, for materials setup with "Skip lot as Dynamic Modification rule" for QM in material master, TO's are not generated automatically. When executed LT06, it gets created without any error.
Can someone suggest why this functionality is not triggered automatically for scenario mentioned above ?

As per SAP, "If you set SKIP indicator in material master, then skips are allowed for inspection characteristics/ lot during sample calculation.
If you do not set this indicator, the system chooses the next inspection stage in the dynamic modification rule that is not a skip, instead of the skip defined in the quality level during sample calculation."
If every time you want to create normal lot for inspection then simply remove SKIP indicator from material master. Let me know if you have more confusion on this.

4g problem with skipping and connecting to computer

I am having problems with the ipod skipping and not holding onto a song. This means on occasion I will start a song and the ipod will randomly jump to next song or start playing and then jump. The seek time for songs has also seemed much slower than normal. This happens about 60% of the time. I have done 4 or the 5 r's reset, reinstalled ituns and ipod updater, tried the usb over the firewire cable etc. The ipod will not let me reset through the computerand fails to mount properly. I have attempted to access the ipod through ipod updater, itunes, and windows xp and no luck. At the same time it continues to read do not dissonect, while continuously spinning the hd.
I ran the internal dignostic on the ipod ( previous + select at the apple screen) to get the internal diagnostic. Accoring to this my hd is fine, and everything seems to test out normal. I am getting an occasional failure on the key test but it is inconsistant at best and can not be localized to one key. I have never noticed any scroll wheel problems
Despite all this (firewire checks out too), I can not connect the ipod to the computer, and am still having the skipping problems, any other ideas please? I am getting frustrated and considering replacing rather than spending 150 to 200 to fix.

I have encountered and come past a similar problem. At least the same error message. I encountered it when using iCal from a Mac though.

1) I turned iCal and Webserver of
2) I went into the place where calendars are stored (see Server admin, iCal and settings). There I found my down to calendars/_uids_ and deleted all contents. The same with principals/_uids_
3) edit group and/or user prefs for calendareing in Workgroup Manager
4) restart WebServer and iCal
Works for me at least. Hope it helps.
I will turn iCal and Webserver before editing user preferences in the future (if I remember).

Problem with Skipping Audio in CS5.5

Hi, I recently opened a file in CS5.5 that I created in 5.03. I have a problem with one audio file. It is a music file mp4a that skips as it plays. All the other files are fine. I deleted the file and replaced it, but that file skips. When i play it in itunes or Windows player, it plays fine. Any suggestions. Thanks Roman

Thank you for the replies. What was happening is that the other audio files were being onverted by PPPro. This one was not. I moved the file to the desktop and once again placed it into the project. This time the yellow conversion line on the bottom right corner went to work and it works fine. It was some type of glitch with that one file. Thanks again. Roman

Problem with skipping

Ive been having a regular problem lately with skipping when I burn CD's through the itunes burner. Let me first say all the music and audio books, everything in my itunes was bought through Itunes. So its not a piracy issue.
Im getting a regular problem where it seems every audio book will start skipping about 20 minutes into it. Not just one but anyone I do and when I burn music CD's about the 10th song or so it starts skipping. It is not the same batch of CD's im using, they are all brand new and not scratched.
any ideas what this could be or what to do. Ive only had this macbook pro about 4 months.

hi everybody,
since yesterday i'm a proud owner (more or less) of a zen x-fi. the only thing that dri'ves me crazy is that i can't get it working with windows.
first of all the system config:
Desktop PC (P4 on 95P Express chipset)
Windows XP Pro SP3
Media Player
i searched the web and am trying to solve this problem: "there was a problem installing ..." for quite a long time now.
here's what i did up until now:
- deinstalling Media Player and installing v0 - couldn't deinstall v
- installing newest version of the WMP (v - 5th Oct. 2008) from Microsoft to get the newest MTP support
- deinstalling the "Creative Centrale" and reinstalling it (at the moments it's uninstalled)
- installing Microsoft User Driver Framework v.0 (wouldn't allow me - of course, because it's implemented with WMP or rather it's drivers are older)
- setting USB ENUM to "read" and "full control"
- deinstalling and reinstalling the USB drivers (motherboard support as well as chipset vendor newest drivers)
- checking every single USB port (front and back)
- settings for USB HUBs to "full power supply" (no Power Management)
- reinstalled SP3
- got all new Updates from Windows (critical updates) including all up to date .Net Framework versions
- tried the Media Transfer Protocol Porting Kit (quite sure that this doesn't do anything since it seems to be the sdk version and i know to little of programming to try something out)?
- downloaded the fixup (found it in different posts to have been a workaround) and there was a little success: i got a working driver (no "there was a problem installing ...") until i realized that it doesn't show anything inside the folder (mtp/portable device) neither does it say "zen x-fi" in the device manager (it's only called "mtp device"). checked the .inf in the fixup package and realized that it couldn't work as long as i don't know the x-fi's Product ID, which i searched for on the internet (linux forums etc.) but the x-fi seems to be too new
now: i of course tried it on another PC to be sure (Laptop with Windows XP Pro SP3 and WMP 0!) - and it works ...
downside is: my library is fairly big and would fit on the Laptop's harddri've. i found a little workaround and imported the folder into the laptop's winamp library (via Network) and got some songs onto the Zen but it takes a lot of time getting them through the network connection (WLAN).
as i see it there's only two chances: either the USB is not suitable (which i can't believe, since everything else that i attach is working fine and without any issues) or the problem has something to do with the Media Player's MTP.
so does anyone have another idea or would i have to wait for either Windows or Creative to come up with a solution(maybe another hotfix)?

Ive been having hell with this aswell, although i think my computer is to blame. It "should" work if i could install wmp, but i cannot because my computer needs me to install some update rollup 2 which doesnt install and i cant install sp3 either... i've been contacting microsoft but they cant sort it.. maybe my pc is just reaching its old age and cannot cope with so many new things going on.
but from what you have said i cant see why it shouldnt work with your current system.

Not Working means what. Are u getting some error or u r not getting proper output.

it returns Scanner object

DMR with skip lots & without inspection severity

I have a requirement where my user needs the DMR at lot level where they do not need the inspection severity to be picked from DMR because the inspection plan has got different sampling procedures for respective MIC's.
Example:
Create a inspection plan with 3 MIC's for a material as shown below which is having active inspection type as 01: Inspection lot against GR

I am concerned about the sample size calculation here.
Yes I have defined three seperate severities for those sampling procedures.
Each sampling procedure has many inspection severities assigned to it and I am defining the default inspection severity in the additional tab of sampling procedure so that where ever i use the sampling procedure automatically the default inspection severity will be considered for calculating sample sizing,
For example:
I have assigned normal, reduced, tightened and loose inspection severity to SAMP1 sampling procedure, then here I will default the inspection severity for the sampling procedure as reduced inspection. In this case where ever I use SAMP1 sampling procedure automatically reduced inspection severity will be considered for sampling sizing.
Similarly, I have assigned normal, reduced, tightened and loose inspection severity to SAMP2 sampling procedure, then here I will default the inspection severity for the sampling procedure as loose inspection. In this case where ever I use SAMP2 sampling procedure automatically loose inspection severity will be considered for sampling sizing.
The procedure which I have given above is standard practice in SAP, but here I want to assign DMR at inspection lot level.
DMR: If 1 lot is created then 3 lots should be skipped. Here inspection severity should not play any role.
Inspection severities should be picked from the sampling procedure assigned to the inspection plan and sample size should be calculated as per the default inspection severities assigned to the respective sampling procedure for an MIC.

Problems with SKIP FIRST Screen when calling a transaction variant

I have a transaction variant of VA02 that suppresses the display of the pricing button on the conditions screen. I have created a variant transaction for called ZA02 which calls this variant of VA02.
In my program I have coded the following :-
      SET PARAMETER ID 'AUN' FIELD VBELN.
      SET PARAMETER ID 'VPO' FIELD POSNR.
      CALL TRANSACTION 'ZA02' AND SKIP FIRST SCREEN.
I would have expected the program to display the second screen of VA02 but it displays the first screen and when I hit return key the second screen is then displayed.
I don't think I need VPO setting but when I code
      SET PARAMETER ID 'AUN' FIELD VBELN.
      SET PARAMETER ID 'VPO' FIELD POSNR.
      CALL TRANSACTION 'VA02' AND SKIP FIRST SCREEN.
VA02's second screen is displayed
Any help as to how to Skip this first screen with ZA02 would be greatly appreciated

Yes you are right Reg thanks for that.
But it appears that VA02 doesn't require it setting anyway. I changed the PID to APO and indeed I've even commented the line out, but my program goes to the second screen when calling VA02 but stays on the first screen when calling ZA02 .

Having problem with A LOT of noise from my hardware cooler

Anyone know what to do about that else than getting it repaired? Maybe it is possible to do it your self without getting it to service which takes long time.

If your fan is making a lot of noise because it's worn out, and your computer is out of warranty or you don't mind voiding your warranty, you can indeed replace it yourself. Buy used parts from independent vendors (I don't know anything about parts vendors in Europe) and find instructions here:

If it's making a lot of noise because you're working your computer hard and the fan is spinning fast to keep up with the heat, the only thing you can do is work the computer less hard, so the fan doesn't need to run as fast.

Problem with "Skip when shuffling"

OK I have a 2nd Gen iPod Nano 2gig.
I have several audio books that I do not want to come up when I'm shuffling. Each audiobook has it's own playlist and I set them all to "Skip when shuffling". It works fine...until I listen to those audiobooks. The minute I listen to one of the chapters it will undo the "skip when shuffling" option on that particular chapter and any other chapters I listen to.
Any suggestions on how to get them to stay on "skip when shuffling"??

Well I figured out how to fix this, with no help from this forum. If you're going to store songs on your iPod that you want "Skip when Shuffling" turned on, make sure you turn it one BEFORE you sync them to your iPod.

I have created metadata using CWM2 procedures. These procedures allow define skip-level or ragged hierarchies.
I created skip-level hierarchies by setting null values to several keys in dimension table.
The result is... OLAP did not created cursor error, when I try to drill that hiuerarchy?

How to build BIBeans compatible skip-level hierarchies and?
My next question: Is it possible to use BIBeans with fact tables which contain embedded totals?

Hello Vicky,
Products created in R/3 can always be downloaded to CRM using the download object MATERIAL.
But products created in CRM could not be recovered back unless you archive them in CRM.
In order to delete the materials in CRM , you can use report COM_PRODUCT_DELETE_SINGLE or COM_PRODUCT_DELETE_ALL.
You can then download these materials from R/3.
Or you can have your own Z-report using the above standard report, where you can pass on the material id or range.
Also,please note that before executing these reports, you need to make an entry in table COMC_PR_TOOL_REG.

Problem with a lot of logins per user

We are using 2 (4 controllers) WiSM version 5.2.178.0 Controllers with WPA2/CCKM 802.1x EAP-MSCHAPv2 using freeradius v2 and eDirecvtory as backend.
About 500 1142 AP:s and 2400 clients.
The clients are running unmanaged Windows 7.
Clients are authenticating about 10- 20 times in a minute.
This causes heavy load on the Radius/eDirectory servers.
The clients having Atheros AT9285 wifi card without CCX support.
Our users also complains about having to reconnect frequently.
Any ideas how to reduce radius logins?

If the client does not use CCX, then you should not be using CCKM as the keying method, you should use 802.1x. But from what I am seeing, the client is not sending a valid PMK, so we can't fast roam them, they have to do a full AAA authenticaiton. My other normal suggestion would be to check for updated drivers but as they are "unmanaged, this may not be feasible

Problem with inspection lot

We get the usage decision via IDOC to SAP from LIMS
Due to some technical issue for one inspection lot,only the status UD got updated to the inspection lot ,stock posting ,valuation codes etc are blank and not updated
Now the stock is stuck in quality
We are not able to process that inspection via QA12/QA11/MB1B
QA12 u2013 u201CUsage decision has not been made yetu201D

QA11 -The functcannot be carried out as Status UD is updated
Can you please suggest how to release the stock from QI

Apply SNOTE 174877.
Copy the program ZQEVAC22 in the SNOTE and create a tcode for that.
Then the inspection lot UD system status will reverse after executing
Now through QA32 do the usage decision and quantity postiing
