Problem with skype install in windows xp

Hello,
I have download "SkypeSetupFull.exe" from this site. When I start to install my programm, appears the following message "We are having problems connecting to the download server. To download an alternative installer for Skype, click the "Download" button.". After that, I downlad and this programm but nothing. The same message appears. What must I do?

Problem with re-installing windows/recovery

I have a NB305-n600 Laptop, that would no longer start up, so i used my flash recovery drive and began installing windows. When it gets to the partition/drive selection part of the installation it says no drives are listed. ive tried installing drivers but either i can't find the right one or it's not working. if i try to boot the computer regularly it comes up with errors F3-F100-0003. I checked bios and it still lists the HDD in there. so from what i can see the harddrive is still there and hasn't "failed" the computer just can't find it.

If you can still access the bios and the bios is detecting the hard drive, that is good. It may be that you just have a corrupt OS and not a bad hard drive. Best to try and do a restore to out-of-box state and see if you can run diagnostics on drive. Either restore from your hidden recovery partition, or use your recovery disks. If you have not made disks, you can purchase from Toshiba.
Before doing that, are you able to get tinto the Startup Menu when booting up (using the f8 key)? If so, may want to try Last Known Good config or if that doesn't work, try Repair Computer

As a suggestion I'd put the Text_io segments into their own begin - exception - end sub-blocks within the main code. This way if Text_io does raise an exception you can catch it earlier as it may be able to recover - That is if it is a text_io exception.
Other than that you;ll have to step through in Debug.

Problems with shutdown, expose and window switching

Hi there,
Recently I've been having a few issues with OS X. First of all it wasn't shutting down properly -- the menu bar would disappear and it would look like it was going to shutdown, but it never did. I could move down to the dock (on auto-hide) and it would re-appear, at which point I can bring up a terminal window and use 'shutdown' to do the job. On startup I'd reset the PRAM, and then do a disk-check, but the problem keeps coming back.
Subsequently, I've also been having problems with expose and switching windows (i.e. command-tab). Namely, neither of them work. Expose won't fire from either hot corners or the keyboard, and if I re-launch the app from the Apps folder (without trying to kill it first, I should say), it does nothing. Cmd-tab gets interpreted as just tab, and the keyboard shortcut for dashboard also fails (although I can start the dashboard from the dock).
I read in another post about an invalid jpeg in the downloads folder being able to cause the Expose problem (seems like a most unlikely bug?). Anyway, I cleared all pictures from my downloads folder and functionality came back, but now it's gone again. It's really very frustrating as it makes moving between windows a lot more hassle.
Any thoughts would be gratefully received.

As for actually helping you, and not just satisfying our curiousity, if you start cutting pieces of the code you will probably end up finding the source of the problem (and we won't have too big a program to handle). Since DSC is a likely suspect, you may want to start there.
Also, are you creating an installer and using that to install? If not, you may wish to try that.

Is there a problem with skype at the moment?

Hello folks.
I'm running a G4 and 10.411 using an old version of skype with a software patch that I found in one of the skype topics on this site. It has been working fine for months now. I don't use video just audio. I have a subscription to call land lines. The problem I am having is that I can call out and hear the person I am calling, but they can't hear me. Is there a problem with skype today? Or have they made changes as of today that do not permit people to use the patch and an old version of skype? Any information would be much appreciated.

The problem has seemed to have gone away. The problem started yesterday on two different computers. Today, on one of the computers I ran a utility called Mcjanitor that I had installed years ago but very rarely ran it. I neglected to try skype prior to running the utility. On computer #2 I tried booting from an old utility disk called techtoolpro. I was unable to boot from the disk after several attempts and restarts. Both computers are running better and skype now works again on both. I sent an email earlier today to a tech support guy from my ISP about my recent problems with skype. In conclusion I can't explain why skype now works on both computers. I can only guess that I reset something when I used (attempted to use) a utility disk. The other possibility is that my ISP guy did something on his end. Or, lastly, that skype had problems that were remedied by skype today.

Cloning hard drive with skype install?

Hi all, I can't see a clear place to ask this question so I'll post here. I am getting ready to roll out skype to a couple dozen computers and I will be cloning all of them from a single master image. I know that some software doesn't like it when you do this, and one of the people I am working with on the project suggested I look into pottential problems with skype.
So,are there any problems(software licence-wise or technical) that would prevent me from installing skype to the imagemaster, preforming a sysprep operation, and cloneing the drive 20+ times? If so, I can certainly install skype after the image is done, but if you've done things like this you'll know its best to avoid as many little "after cloning" changes as possible.

Is disk utility really no good? Does that explain it?!
In that case I'd better get ccc or superduper later but right now i only have 500MB space left on my mac so I can't add anything more. I've had a look at what I've achieved so far and the copying stopped in the middle of an old xerox printer plugin in the library after 1 hour of slow but good work. I finished copying the library by drag and drop and it all looks the same as the original. That leaves previous systems, systems and users. Can I just keep going by dragging and dropping?
Right now my problem is that I tried to copy previous systems and after nearly 2 hours it is still 'preparing to copy' and i can't stop it, it doesn't respond.

I know this will come off as sounding snarky, but please know it's honestly not intended that way,
Windows 8?
I never was able to make Captivate 4 run successfully on Windows 7. So I'm not the least bit surprised to hear it has issues with Windows 8!
Personally, I'm thinking you are due for an upgrade to Captivate if you want it to work on Windows 8. But then again, I'm not even certain if Captivate 6 is Windows 8 compatible.

but in sqlplus:

In earlier versions, you can do the encoding yourself. Instead of the N'<national symbols>' literal use the UNISTR function: UNISTR('\xxxx\yyyy\zzzz'), where U+xxxx, U+yyyy, U+zzzz are Unicode code points of your national characters.

Has anyone else had problems with their RAW editing window?

I'm having real problems with my RAW editing window (the one that automaticaly pops up when you open a raw file). I've opened several images, but when I click on the different thumbnails on the left hand side the large preview image in the center doesn't change. Obviously I need to be able to see this to make the required changes.
Any ideas/help you be greatly appreciated!!!

I haven't yet been able to replicate your problem. Will you please describe your workflow? Are you simply selecting multiple files from your computer and double clicking to automatically open in Camera RAW?
Also curious, with all of your images open in the RAW editing window, what happens when you use the arrows near the bottom right? Does your image change?
