Problem with SMS tone

Hi I have a problem with my iPhone..
Sometimes when i receive an SMS, the Sound that I have allocated to play when I receive the SMS does not play..
This only happen sometimes, and I cant explain why its not playing..
All the settings is correct (Volume is up , The SMS tone is set, Its not on Silent)
Can anyone help me with this!!

they are fixing the apps issue, i have never heard of their being no ringtone showing on ur iphone or itunes, have u downloaded itunes 8 as u will need that for the update, sounds like alot of your probs should be fixed, they are fixing the battery life issue i still dont use my iphone with 3g on as i have no service so im waiting for a major fix for that...well lets hope its all fixed by this update and nothing is screwed up by it as im sick of the firmware screwing up a part of the iphone, only good stable firmware was 1.1.4

Strange problem with sms

Hi, I am in a big problem here so please help me.
My problem is that i have an app that sends sms and it used to work well, but when passed to some devices they dont send anything. Now the same app was deployed to a blackberry curve and it sends the sms but the message is never recieved by any phone. I tested sending to a nokia 6131, motorola l6i, htc excalibur, and a treo 650. The treo was the only one receiving the messages but not anymore, I am sending to the port 0 and the phone is put on international format.
The app have been correctly working on nokia phones and also tested on a blackberry 7290 but on blackberry curve is not working, I also loaded a small app just to send 1 sms and didnt work.
Any ideas, why does some phones can send/receive sms and some other not. Why is java too unreliable with this.

all other devices are working fine and they send the sms successfully
i dont use the port but use the primum no like 45456
it works well on all devices but dont work on MOTO E6 and MOTO A1200(ming)
so is there any problme?

Problem with custom tone curves

I have a problem with saving custom tone curves and don't know what to do about it. I am running Lr 5.7.1. on OS X 10.10.3 but I know this problem was there on OS X 10.10.2.
The problem is as follows, if I create a tone curve a try to save it Lr does not save it in under /Users/{UserID}/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/Curves as it should; instead it places it under /Users/{UserID}/. As a result the custom tone curve does not appear in the Point Curve list.
2 items of additional/useful information:
1) I can literarily see the Save dialog jumping from the correct folder, /Users/{UserID}/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/Curves, to the incorrect folder, /Users/{UserID}/
2) If I manually move the file to right location it appears in the Point Curve list
I have checked permissions and the User ID has Read/Write access. I have also made visible hidden folders with no luck.
Any suggestions are very welcome.

View the record in PA20, to make sure the PERNR has a record for the Infotype
Make sure the parameters passed to HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION are correct :
Rather than passing them directly, pass :
g_pernr type p_pernr value pernr
g_infty type prelp-infty value 9402
Lock the PERNR with BAPI_EMPLOYEE_ENQUEUE
Read values
SELECT * FROM <table>        INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF <wa>
        WHERE pernr = g_pernr
        AND begda   <= sy-datum
        AND endda   >= sy-datum.
ENDSELECT.
Perform HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION.
Provided you fill all the key fields : SUBTYPE,OBJID.... RECORDNUMBER. (passed from p9008)
Why ?:
For an Emp, a number of records may be created, depending on the Time constraint of the Infotype
Say when you modify, the actual record may be delimted to sy-datum and a new record may be inserted

Basline : BEGDA and ENDDA are very important in determining which record to modify!!
Unlock PERNR with BAPI_EMPLOYEE_DEQUEUE

I wish someone would give a solution to this problem. I think you are not giving importance because users use instant messaging applications. But I guess that's another big part of who uses it, as in my case.

What your operator means by "disable unicode keyboard" is to set your phone so that you can't write these accented characters with the keyboard. You can do that by changing the language of they keyboard.

A problem with SMS

Hi! I have problems using SMS. When I remove one of the sms of dialogue. In iOS 7 dialogue immediately descend on the date that is consistent with the last remaining SMS dialog . Now, despite the fact that the message is deleted , the dialogue itself remains in the same place on the same date . What is the problem?

Having problem with SMS.

Still a student here, so please help me out.
I think i have the same problem with a few BlackBerry Users out there. I can't view SMS even though there's clearly a notification stating that i've a new SMS. I need to go to View SMS inbox to view the message.

Problems with sms after 2.1 update

I have an original iphone, and after the recent update, I have had some problems with my text messages.
1. A friend who has sprint is unable to delete a text that I sent to her. She has had no other similar issues from anyone else.
2. Occasionally, the text entry box, disappears and I am unable to type anything.
3. Occasionally I am unable to scroll down to the most recent message in a conversation.
4. The text entry box has also moved up to the top of the screen.
Since the update, texts are not as sluggish, which is great, but these other issues are bothersome as well. Anyone with similar problems?

I don't recall reading anything similar to this, however if you are having problems with your phone, the standard troubleshooting procedures are to turn phone off/back on. If that doesn't correct it, then reboot the phone, hold home key and sleep/wake button together until you see the Apple logo, past the slide to turn off screen. If that doesn't work, then restore, first from a backup, then if necessary as a new phone.
I don't see how someone not being able to delete your text could have anything to do with your phone. That would have to be on their end. I had an origianl phone that I updated to 2.1 and did not have any issues whatsoever. See if any of these help.

Problem with SMS-Service

Hey, I have a big Poblem with my iPhone 3gs, 16gb.
The Screen was broken and I sent it for repair.
After I got it back, it works without problems but then I tried to send a SMS and nothing happened!
When I press "send" it goes to my homescreen/menu.
I have no idea what´s wrong with it and I found nothing about this in web.

Not that I'm a Verizon employee, but I have experience in the field. An LTE tower will only extend up to, on a perfect day, with no elevation, 6-7 miles. On a typical day, you will be lucky at four (4) miles. The three ZIP codes you've given are all within about a 12 mile radius. That would mean that 2-3 towers are currently down at the same time, and Verizon would know about it within the hour. Being it's Cleveland, I'm sure they would receive numerous calls regarding an outage of that size.
My point is that if you're having issues in all three ZIP codes, chances are it's a phone issue. If you're handset is simply not receiving LTE, but still receiving 3G, that would signify a SIM card issue. You need to get your SIM card replaced.

Problems with SMS backup from Nokia PC suite

sorry to bother you with a question asked many many times i guess...but apparently no solutions yet (at least: as far as i red until now).
I switched form Nokia Xpress Music 5800 to Nokia E71 and the backup with PC suite worked quite ok for contacts, settings and calendar. SMS were imported as well, but the phone shows phone numbers instead of names as senders in the inbox folder (= i see the phone number but not the name). However, in the outbox folder, the same phone number is correctly recognized and linked to the contact (= i see the name of the recipient). But if i read the content of the inbox folder from PC Suite, i see the names correctly. In addition, the phone doesn't import the content of the archive folder. What's wrong with my cell phone and/or backup and/or PC Suite? Can anybody help?

hello forum..i too am facing a similar problem of not being able to restore my contacts n sms back into my cell using nokia content copier in pc suite..im using a nokia 7610 which i formatted before doin the restoration...andd also d pc suite was not the latest version which i used to restore my data..but inspite of it i tried restoring d data using the old version and i got a confirmation message saying " restoration successfully completed" on the screen..but when i checked my inbox and contacts i couldnt find anything and it was all blank........
so should i install d latest version of PC suite and try again....i wud be grateful to all who can help me regarding this problem...thanks

Problems with SMS spam - is there a spam blocker?

I'm getting a lot of SMS spam, I don't want to change my number because of the impossibility of getting a new number to all my work contacts, is there an app to filter SMS messages as for Android?

Thanks for the responses. I'm in the UK not the US so, unfortunately, can't follow US specific advice - I wish spam SMSs were illegal over here! The spam I'm getting is people trying to sell me insurance and legal services for dodgy 'claims' etc. I'm very careful about what I check on web sites, but obviously not careful enough. It's like being under siege. I'll check with my provider to see if they can do anything.

Problems with SMS after new iPhone update

After downloading the new iPhone update my SMS messages started getting scrambled up. A few of my friends that also own iPhones are having the same problem and i was curious if there are others out there? And also if there is going to be anything done about it?

Search the forums for "Re: SMS conversations 1.1.3", this has solved that problem for a majority of the folks having it.

Problem with sms

I've got a PB AL 15 inch (sn w8506525rg3), and it has got the sms (terminal comand pmset -g ... sms 1). But it's not possible to retrive any coordinates. It seems to me it doesn't work. I've tried to use AMSTracker and it does not work (it tolds me "simulating" sms hardware in software).. so finally:
HOW can I determinate if my pb has the sms?
HOW can I test if my sms is working correctly?

All powerbooks following the January and july 2005 refreshes are equipped with a sudden motion sensor. Given that yours was purchased in October it is almost certain that it does in fact have an SMS.

Problem with SMS and phonebook contact

Today it is the first time I had this kind of problem. I received a message from A person but my Q10 shows B person's name. I have double checked the number again and again, it is A person's number....the wired thing is how could it be shown in B person's name for SMS.

There have been many reports of contacts linking to other contacts without the user's input. If you tap on the contact in question, then tap on the pencil icon for Edit, at the bottom there will be a chainlink icon. Tap on that and you will see any other contacts to which that one is linked, as well as an option to un-link.
I have experienced this and it's very frustrating. It seems to me that having multiple cloud sources for contacts causes this. I had to wipe my device to factory settings, then add back only a single cloud source for contacts. I did not re-enable LinkedIn contacts nor did I turn on Verizon's own backup app. So far no more phantom linking.

Problem with SMS notifications

I have an iPhone 4S and I have noticed for a while now that my phone won't notify me when I have a text message and sometimes missed calls. I have been searching through problems online but I can't find anything that is relevant to my problem. When I receive a text, I don't hear a tone, I would unlock my phone and notice that I have a text message but I wouldn't see anything pop up on my lock screen. I switched off the lock screen to test it out and used a different phone to send a text message to myself. I heard the tone go off but notificiation didn't pop up which I knew wouldn't happen anyway but when I swicthed it back on amd sent another message, nothing popped up and it took a while for the message tone to alert me, it only worked when I unlocked it. I'm finding this really annoying and I don't if its the phone or the software. I downloaded the recent iOS 6 software ages ago but this problem is only happening to me now. Anybody know what I should do?

Do you have "View in Lock Screen" enabled? Settings>Notifications>Messages>View in Lock Screen>On
