Problem with SSIS in win 8.1

Hi
I have a broblem.
I got my new win 8.1 and i just started to study SSIS.
When i installed it - every thing was working ok except one thing - the buttons are huge.
I cant work with it because i cant see all my options.
I can send an snapshots for an example
Please help me.

HP Pavilion DVD-3013eo recovery problem with dvd`s Win 7 x64

Hi, i have a problem with my dv7-3013eo pavilion, recovery dvd just wont work, they are original but here's the problem:
in recovery pavilion says something like this on start recovery program is not compatible of this version of windows, but it proceed, then it Boot's then the installation stars and then uiadump32exe crashes, and pavilion says start recovery again? that shall i do?
My windows version is WIndows 7 x64 Home, and computer is broken. dvd are fine and this is first time i have to use them.

I don't have an answer for you, but I have a workaround if you can't get the recovery disks to work.
You will only have the option of installing the English, French or Spanish version of W7 Home Premium 64 bit.
If you can read the 25 character Microsoft windows 7 product key, you can download plain Windows 7 ISO files to burn to DVD's for the version of windows that came installed on your PC, and that is listed on the Microsoft COA sticker on your PC's case.
Burn the ISO using the Burn ISO option on your DVD burning program and burn at the slowest possible speed your program will allow. This will create a bootable DVD.
Use the 25 character product key on the PC to activate the installation.
The key will activate either a 32 or 64 bit installation.
Then go to the PC's support and driver page to install the drivers you need.

USB card reader problem with T430 laptop (Win 8)

I have a Thinkpad T430, running Windows 8 with 16G memory.
I have recently encountered problems with a USB card reader. I thought the reader was faulty so I bought a new one, but that one fails as well. It makes no difference which socket it is in.
After being plugged in for a few seconds, the 'drives' the reader sets up start to flash in the 'Computer' window - it seems they are continually being disconnected and reconnected.
Disabling USB 3.0 in the BIOS makes no difference. One card reader is USB 2 and the other is USB 3
Changing the power settings so the USB selective suspend is disabled makes no difference.
I am pretty sure that it was OK a month ago when I last used a card reader (the machine is about 2 months old).
What is going on?
Any ideas?

Ok Mr. Micheal,
One thing you can attempt to do is download the SmartCard Reader Driver for Windows 8 (64-bit) - ThinkPad on the Lenovo website. The path you need to take is listed below.
1. Go to the Lenovo website (www.lenovo.com)
2. Select the support link at the top of the page
3. Your going to see for windows listed select the type of support you need, so select drivers and software
4. Its going to ask for your machine information so enter in your machine type or your product ID
5. Scroll down to camera and card reader and open the link
6. Download SmartCard Reader Driver for Windows 8 (64-bit) - ThinkPad
7. Follow the set up wizard and one the driver is installed reboot your machine

Problems with downgrade from Win 8.1 to Win 7 64bit on Satellite S70-A-11H

My daughter already has a Tosh laptop with Win 7 64bit which is several years old and has seen better days, so for Christmas I bought her a new S70-A-11H notebook with Win 8.1 pre-installed.
She hates it. In fact she will not use the new laptop at all unless it has Win 7 on it.
For people that do not use a tablet or a Windows phone and like a desktop feeling machine Windows 8 does not work for us.
Now I work in a niche IT role using numerous OS such as Microsoft Windows (XP, Win7, Server 2003, Server 2008) and Solaris as well as a bit of RedHat.
Now my Win8 experience is zero.
I thought it would be simple enough to install a retail copy of Win7 with SP1 64bit onto this notebook.
Not so easy as it turns out.
When I boot from the Win 7 install DVD the installer program locks up as the Win 7 logo starts to appear on the screen. If I try an install in safe mode the last driver that appears to load when the lock up occurs is disk.sys.
So the question is how can I install Win 7 64bit SP1 onto this notebook using a retail copy of Win7?
Any ideas would be much appreciated.

*I found the reason for this problem* and the solution outside of this forum.
If anyone else is interested _the issue is cause by the use of GPT partions on the 8.1 build._
To overcome this and install a fresh copy of Win7 you can do this:
-Shut down Windows 8 while pressing the Shift key to completely power off.
-Power on and press F2 while the Toshiba logo is displayed to enter the UEFI Setup Menu.
-Go to the Security tab and set the "Secure Boot" setting to "Disabled".
-Go to the Advanced tab, enter "System Configuration" and set the Boot Mode to "CSM Boot."
-Press F10 to save and exit.
Go to http://gparted.sourceforge.net/ and download gparted boot image. Make bootable gparted cd and use it to delete the GPT partitions on the HDD.
Now just install Win7 64bit as you normally would creating whatever partitions you like during the install process. Of course you must have a new licence key for Win7 for this to work.
To finish off you will need to download all the required drivers from the Toshiba website to suit Win7 64bit. This is quite tedious as some of the files are huge. I got just the basics that I thought I'd need and that ended up being over 1Gb of files.
I'm so pleased I managed to get rid of that nasty Win8 interface.
This is probably not the only way to do this, but this worked for me.

Having Some Real Problems with SSI

Well, I tried that, but the code just looks exactly as it
does in the code viewing pane. No RED characters anywhere! So I
just deleted all the <html>, <head>, and <body>
tags and saved the file.
Now, when I insert the SSI into a new html file (which I
saved as .shtml because that’s what my web hosting provider
requires) everything looks great on my local system, but when I
upload the files to my server and try to test the page with the SSI
inserted into it, I get the following error message:

Problem with ssi and php includes

Hello Everyone,
I’m a little confused and I hope someone here can shed some light on my problem. I teach web design (Macromedia Studio 8) at the high school level and I’m having trouble using .php includes and server side includes on our Mac OSX 10.4 server with WebObjects 5.2.
The Problem – Dreamweaver correctly inserts the code….

but when the same index.php file is uploaded to the server and then downloaded to another workstation the code is changed. The php include is removed and replaced with the actual html from the header.html file.
Does anyone know what causes this?

If I understand your post correctly, what you are experiencing is exactly what PHP is supposed to do.
I am guessing that you are expecting a user to be able to see the programmer's php code just as is the case with html, where one can simply see the code by control clicking the page in Safari and selecting "View Source", for example.
However, for security reasons PHP will never allow this behavior via http 'get' functions. Imagine, a php page which includes php code that accessess a highly sensitive database and thus were to allow any client to see the exact architecture of the database. For these reasons the server is the only one able to parse through the PHP code and generates html code from it, which is sent to the client.
Remember, PHP stands for hypertext preprocessor, that is the server processes php code before hypertext is generated and sent to the client.
The include function is a php function and thus will not be displayed as part of the generated html.
The only way to allow your students for example, to see the PHP code is to serve the folder containing the web site being served via another protocol such as AFP, SMB, and FTP.
I hope this addresses your concerns.

Problem with installation of Win XP on Mac mini

Hi ! I'm trying to install Windows on my Mac mini for the few programs I can't use on mac. When I restart with bootcamp installation assistant, nothing happens. The blue LED is lit, showing that the computer is on, but the screen doesn't recognize any signal and stays black. For info, it's plugged using Apple's mini DVI to VGA adapter. I don't know how to get this installation to work...

when ever i connect my laptop using netsh wlan set hostednetwork it gets connected to my android mobile but the connection disappears after few seconds...I had tried disabling the WiFi and enabling it and again creating with new ssid but still happens

If my understanding is right, you can see the SSID but can’t connect to the Windows 8.1 shared hotspot. Or you can’t use the Windows 8.1 connected to the hotpost created by android?
Please check if you can use other device to connect to the Windows 8.1 shared hotspot.
Additionally, please check if you have the right steps to configure the hotspot.

Problems with SSI on OS X 10.5 desktop version

I just upgraded (format and install) to 10.5.4 and I went to enable server side includes. I uncommented the two lines
AddType text/html .shtml
AddOutputFilter INCLUDES .shtml
and I added index.shtml to the DirectoryIndex line as well as adding Includes to the options line.
I then rebooted expecting it to work. This is all it took for 10.4. It didn't and I am not sure where to go from here since I am not really an apache guy. I have repeatedly googled this problem and tried several things and combinations of directives. I ended up restoring the original httpd.conf file from time machine and just redoing it from the directions that are supposed to work.
Does anybody have a suggestion?? This generally just works. Is there a way I can post my conf file for people to look at?

Two things to check:
1) Is the includes module actually enabled?
Just saying you want to use includes isn't enough - if the includes module (that actually does the work) isn't running, you won't see any difference.
Look for the line:
LoadModule include_module libexec/apache2/mod_include.so
in /etc/apache2/httpd.conf and make sure it is not commented out (includes a leading #)
2) Are you working in a directory where Includes are allowed?
By default, for security reasons, includes are disallowed even if the includes module is running. You need an Options statement that allows +Includes. For example:
<Directory />
Options FollowSymLinks
</Directory>
<Directory /subdir>
Options +Includes
</Directory>
The above statements do not allow Include statements in pages anywhere on the site other than in the /subdir directory. You'll note that the <Directory /subdir> has a Options +Includes statement which tells Apache to add the Includes ability to this subdirectory.
If you want to add Includes ability through your entire site, you can add Includes to the top >Directory> block, but be aware of the implications of doing this.

Problem with the program Wine.

Well, I'm trying to install this program called Wine, a program that allows you to run Windows programs on a Mac legally, and currently I followed these steps:
1. Download Mac Ports and install it.
2. Enter:

in Terminal
3. Enter:
sudo port install wine
in Terminal
After I finished those steps, I got back this message from Terminal:

You'll want to download the latest version of Apple's Xcode Tools too. The URL is http://tinyurl.com/792c6s. You might need to Sign Up for a Developer's Account to get access to Xcode Tools 3.1.2 though.

CS6 Design & Web Premium problem with instalation on Win 7

Kubins I would recommend reviewing your installation log to determine the exact error message. The Adobe Support Advisor has been discontinued.

MSI GTX 750 TI has problem with H8 1214 win 7????

Excuse my bad english please,
I bought this video card from newegg, trying to upgrade my computer.
There are some people success to install and run this GPU. I have the same H8 1214 and I did upgrade my PSU to 600w as well. I did switch the button on GPU to Legacy Bios. ==> window did not start. It tells me to press Esc to enter the window, I did and it stucks on black screen.
Can someone help me!

I see allot of interest in that GeForce card from various manufacturers, and it will not work. Interesting. Many of the various motherboards will not tolerate that card because of a BIOS issue computability.

Prblem with iSCSI on Win Server 2012R2 with HyperV role

I have some problems with iSCSI on Win server. The problem is the following.
When I restart server it cannot find the path with VMs configuration and VMs can't start. After few minutes all problems are gone and HyperV can find everything but I must start VMs manually.
The server is DELL R710 with Broadcom NICs. I tried to configure LAN interfaces for iSCSI in two ways. First - from OS and second - from Broadcom BACS with disabled NDIS/Ethernet and enabled iSCSI. The results are the same.
I have two more servers connected to the storage in the same way and everything is fine there.
Events are following:
1. Source MSiSCSI. ID 108
Status 0x00001069 determining that device interface \\?\{8e7bd593-6e6c-4c52-86a6-77175494dd8e}#MsVhdHba#1&3030e83&0&01#{2accfe60-c130-11d2-b082-00a0c91efb8b} does not support iSCSI WMI interfaces. If this device is not an iSCSI HBA then this error
can be ignored.
2. Source bxois. ID 1
Initiator failed to connect to the target. Target IP address and TCP Port number are given in dump data.
3. Source MSiSCSI. ID 113

As a workaround you can set the "startup delay" for VMs .

The possible cause may be the network stack is not fully prepared when the initiator was trying to connect to persistent targets. The initiator will try to connect. When the network stack is fully prepared, the connection should be successfully established.
If you receive this error when the iSCSI target device that is listed on the
Favorite Targets tab no longer exists, you can resolve this issue by removing the iSCSI target device from the list of favorite targets.
If you receive this error, and you cannot access an iSCSI target device that is still configured on the network, make sure that the client computer has network connectivity to the iSCSI target. Additionally, make sure that name resolution is working correctly.
If you have successfully connected to your iSCSI target device despite this error, it indicates that the connectivity issue was temporary. Therefore, you can safely ignore this Error event.

Problem with update server?

Hiya, just got a new Vado, hooked it up to my system, ran the autoupdate utility which detected it as "Creative Vado, FW release .2.4" - which I figured was a good sign as it had been detected.
When I clicked on the Check Update button though I received a dialog box with the message "Unable to contact the server. Maybe the server is too busy", tried all night and am getting the same error.
I'm wondering if it's really a server error or maybe a problem with my setup (Win 7 64-bit, IE 8)

If you get that error message, that means a lot of people may be accessing the server or the server is currently under maintenance. You may try to run it again some other time. Alternati'vely, you can check for updates manually from the support site.
