  • Problem with STO from non-WM to WM-HU

    Hi,
    We have found out recently that we cannot move materials from non-WM to WM-HU storage locations with STO (313-315). When we are trying to post 313 from non-WM storage location, system gives error "ILN basis no. for plant XXXX, stor.locat. XXXX or whse number not found" where XXXX is the plant id and storage location id for non-WM stor.loc., so it should not have any ILN configured.
    We have been using this functionality for a long time, last time in Septmeber. But since the problem applies to all materials and all STOs between non-WM and WM-HU, the problem is not connected to material master or specific storage location but should be some general setting in the system.
    Does anybody has any idea where to look for?
    Best regards,
    Ewa

    Hello,
    You probably already solved your problem (hope for you!) anyway it should have to do with SSCC number
    Glossary: International Location Number (ILN)
    Check the customozing under Logistic General - >Handling Unit Management -->External Identification

  • Problem with STO-cross company code

    hi,
    I am configuring  STO process for cross company code( plants in different company code). I have done all the config. When creating the PO i am entering the supplying plant, i am getting the error "Purchasing organisation xxxx is not responsible for Plant YYYY".  Could some one pls. suggest what may be the problem?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Pathanjali Bhat

    Hi Pathanjali,
    For cross company STO, the prerequiste is.
    1.0 You have to create a customer in SUPPLYING PLANT and assign to RECEIVING PLANT.
    ex: for plant:3000, sales org:3000,dist. chanl:12, divn:00.
    and assign to plant:1000 in spro sto setting.
    ( **maintain shipping notification**)
    2.0 Create a vendor in receiving plant .
    3.0 Here doc type:NB.
    4.0 Maintain supl. plant rec. plnt. and doc type in spro.
    5.0 Maintain del type: NLCC.
    6.0 Maintain supplying plant in vendor master in purchasing tab>extras> add.purchasing details--> maintain supplying plant here.
    Create a PO .
    enter vendor which u have created.
    ex u r procuring for plant 3000.
    maintain pur org, cocode 3000, here ( I think u might have done a mistake here).
    maintain plant 3000 in item details tab.
    enter the matl. price and qty and check the  status.
    If every thing ok save.
    Then
    go to VL10B, maintain del. date (should be before than ur delivery date in PO)
    press F8.
    ur po line item comes.
    select the line item press back ground button
    one more line item wil comes.
    select any line item, press log. u wil get new screen.
    place a cursor on that and press doc details button,
    system shows the delevery note. make a note of no. come to LT03.
    maintain required fields, select back ground processing. and select 2 below that field( ie pick and post) and press enter.
    system picks and post the doc.
    now check in PO history. 641 mvt has taken or not?
    if not do once again LT03.
    Rewert back if any clarification.
    Reward if useful.

  • PROBLEMS with the zen sto

    so the first problem with my zen stone i found was that no matter how much music i had on it, it would only play certain songs. for example, if i have 200 songs on it, it only plays abou 30 of them over and over....i tried using the online manual but that was NO HELP, it makes no sense when it tries to describe how to organize music/folders.
    now i have another problem...my stone WONT PLAY MUSIC. i open the folder and click and drag files from itunes(like i did before) into the folder, and it loads them. as soon as i disconnect my player and hold down the play button to play, it blinks 3 times and nothing happens, and everytime i hit play after that it does the same thing..
    please helP!

    I use Widows XP Professional SP3 and Windows XP Professional x64 SP2 with medially .
    I can't see why this matters because the problems are located at the player itself, I've got no
    problems with moving files to the player or any problems with connecting the player with the computer,
    I'm experiencing a lot of freezups of the firmware of the player, harddisk keeps running, it does that
    till the battery is low or till I push reset, sometimes this doesn't help at all, the operating system at
    the harddri've gets somehow damaged by the instability of the filesystem, reflashing the firmware helps
    the. Problems appear to be a software problem with the firmware, the player went away for repairs once,
    with this problem, they have checked the harddisk, harddisk was fine but the os crapped up it's self
    somehow, know this because I asked them to tell me every thing what was wrong and how they solved this,
    asked them also how I could fix the player myself? if it was no hardware problem.
    They told me to reflash the firmware and format the dri've from the service mode out.

  • A problem with threads

    I am trying to implement some kind of a server listening for requests. The listener part of the app, is a daemon thread that listens for connections and instantiates a handling daemon thread once it gets some. However, my problem is that i must be able to kill the listening thread at the user's will (say via a sto button). I have done this via the Sun's proposed way, by testing a boolean flag in the loop, which is set to false when i wish to kill the thread. The problem with this thing is the following...
    Once the thread starts excecuting, it will test the flag, find it true and enter the loop. At some point it will LOCK on the server socket waiting for connection. Unless some client actually connects, it will keep on listening indefinatelly whithought ever bothering to check for the flag again (no matter how many times you set the damn thing to false).
    My question is this: Is there any real, non-theoretical, applied way to stop thread in java safely?
    Thank you in advance,
    Lefty

    This was one solution from the socket programming forum, have you tried this??
    public Thread MyThread extends Thread{
         boolean active = true;
         public void run(){
              ss.setSoTimeout(90);
              while (active){
                   try{
                        serverSocket = ss.accept();
                   catch (SocketTimeoutException ste){
                   // do nothing
         // interrupt thread
         public void deactivate(){
              active = false;
              // you gotta sleep for a time longer than the
              // accept() timeout to make sure that timeout is finished.
              try{
                   sleep(91);
              }catch (InterruptedException ie){
              interrupt();
    }

  • Problem with JavaScript snipet that DreamWeaver is writing

    I am having a problem with code that DreamWeaver (CS3) is
    writing. I'm fairly certain the problem is in a small piece of
    JavaScript that DreamWeaver is composing.
    This is a fairly complex problem, so bear with me.
    First - What I am trying to make happen: When on a page on my
    site (the-oilman.com) I want a link that opens a new window in the
    on-line store at a different site (AMSOIL.com). I need to leave
    both the page on my site open and have this 'store' page open.
    First of all this is working fine, using the 'Open Window'
    'behavior' in DreamWeaver. If someone wants to change windows (or
    tabs) and go back to my page, leaving the 'store' window open also
    - the problem is set up to happen. If from back at my site, you
    click on the same or a different link that goes back to the 'store'
    either on the same page or a different page at AMSOIL.com - the
    'store' window goes to the correct page, but the 'store' window
    does NOT come on top. When they click on a link to go back to the
    'store' I need the 'store' window to come to the top. If they have
    previously put something in the cart, and come back and add
    something else to the cart in the 'store' by coming in from
    different links on my site the 'store' is working correctly because
    I leave it open the whole time.
    snipets of code that DreamWeaver is writing for my site
    (the-oilman.com):
    from the head:
    <script>
    <!--
    CSAct[/*CMP*/ '129AABC1'] = new Array(CSOpenWindow,/*URL*/ '
    http://www.amsoil.com/redirect.cgi?zo=52257&page=store','store',0,0,true,true,true,true,tr ue,true,true);
    CSAct[/*CMP*/ '129AAC63'] = new Array(CSOpenWindow,/*URL*/ '
    http://www.amsoil.com/redirect.cgi?zo=52257&page=store','store',0,0,true,true,true,true,tr ue,true,true);
    CSAct[/*CMP*/ '10D39F40'] = new Array(CSOpenWindow,/*URL*/ '
    http://www.amsoil.com/redirect.cgi?zo=52257&page=storefront/sso','store',0,0,true,true,tru e,true,true,true,true);
    function MM_openBrWindow(theURL,winName,features) { //v2.0
    window.open(theURL,winName,features);
    //-->
    </script>
    code from 2 different links that is using this script:
    <a href="
    http://www.amsoil.com/redirect.cgi?zo=52257&page=storefront/sso"
    target="store" onClick="MM_openBrWindow('#','store','')"
    csclick="10D39F40">Buy Now</a>
    <a href="
    http://www.amsoil.com/redirect.cgi?zo=52257&page=store"
    title="AMSOIL Store at AMSOIL.com" target="store"
    onClick="MM_openBrWindow('http:www.amsoil.com/redirect.cgi?zo=52257&amp;page=store','stor e','')">On
    Line Store</a>
    I believe what I need is a longer javascript. Instead of just
    "window.open" I need an "if" but my javascript knowledge is very,
    very limited.
    I need it to first check that if the window named 'store' is
    open then 'focus' it, or if it is not open to open the window named
    'store'.
    Will this fix my problem? If so, please help me write the
    lines of code to do it.
    If this isn't the solution, what is the problem and the
    solution?
    A separate question but related: if you look in the two
    different links codes, in the function call one of them uses a
    'null' page reference and the other repeats the full link reference
    from the href= . Both seem to work, but which is the correct or the
    preferred syntax. My guess is there are some browsers that this
    will give a problem, but which way is preferred.

    Create a new page. Try to apply this same behavior to a link
    on that new
    page. Look at the code. Can you reproduce the problem there?
    The code you
    show below has oodles of GL stuff in it. Do you need that GL
    markup?
    What operational sequence did you go through to get this
    behavior call?
    onClick="MM_openBrWindow('#','store','')"

  • Massive problem with iMac i5

    Today I bought a new i5 iMac with 8Gig of ram. I had massive problems with the instillation of Lion. I spoke with Apple for nearly 1.5 hours. I finally got it working and now it has crashed 9 times in 30 minutes. Why?? Please Help. I am going to take it back to the shop tomorrow.

    Thanks fro your quick reply.
    I get the slow darkened screen that moves down the until it says that I have to hold down the poer button for a forced restart.
    I tried opening all the really big memory hogs ll at once, eg Final cut pro, apature, imove HD etc, and that was no problem. It seem sto be completly random.

  • Problem with creating TO automatically

    Hello all.
    I have a problem with TO creation. For a STO, I am creating delivery using VL10D and the system is unable to pick the quantity because TO was not created and confirmed.
    Is there anyway so that this can be done automatically and the system finds the surce and destination bins automativally.
    sruthi

    you can cofigure the standard output type WMTA .which automatically creates a TO once when the delivery is saved.This o/p type need to be included in the procedure.You also need to create a condition record using vv21.
    Reward points if useful.
    Thanks

  • Strange charging problem with ZEN Mi

    I bought a 6gb Zen Micro for my girlfriend but have encountered a strange problem with charging it.
    If i connect it to my computer (have tried on several) the player displays the charging icon but will not actually charge (no flashing and the battery is not filled). But if i install Windows Mediaplayer 0 it will start charging on the very same USB-port. This is verified on several computers with USB 2.0. I also have an AC-charger with USB connection and can't charge with this (same problem as on PC, displays charging but is not charged).
    The player is using the latest firmware and Creative support recommended me to send it in. I have however not done this yet as this does not seem as a hardware problem to me but as a problem in the firmware. If the player was faulty, why would it charge when Windows Mediaplayer is installed?
    Has anyone else encountered this problem or is the player faulty?

    I can't charge mine either. I got it for Christmas and have loved it, although now it's been on charge for about 20 hours and it's only showing bar.
    It flashes for a few minutes and then sto
    ps.
    Very very annoying.

  • WF10 with STO and PR? or with PO?

    Hi guys,
    It's possible make a collective PO on WF10 with STO, from other CDs to the principal CD, and the PR generated from MRP for the principal CD?. In other words, the principal CD works flow trough for others CDs, but also works whit putaway for direct selling.
    I made this, create a PO from the PR, and create a collective PO with the WF10 for the STOs.  After that, on WLB5 I made a manual load bulding with this two PO, this give me a collective number, but after that, is posssible make another collective PO from this collective number (given for the WLB5)? if yes, how make this? another WF10? If all this is wrong, what is the way to solve this problem?
    Thanks for any idea.
    Edited by: Alaixand on Oct 2, 2010 12:22 AM

    Hi,
    Use WF30 to unblock the STO 's from PO.
    Go to Wf30 . Enter the PO number. Exceute. Go to Edit u2013 Issue documents u2013 unblock delivery due list .
    After that again u can use the same STO to create a collective PO.
    Hope this helps u

  • Problem with Threads and a static variable

    I have a problem with the code below. I am yet to make sure that I understand the problem. Correct me if I am wrong please.
    Code functionality:
    A timer calls SetState every second. It sets the state and sets boolean variable "changed" to true. Then notifies a main process thread to check if the state changed to send a message.
    The problem as far I understand is:
    Assume the timer Thread calls SetState twice before the main process Thread runs. As a result, "changed" is set to true twice. However, since the main process is blocked twice during the two calls to SetState, when it runs it would have the two SetState timer threads blocked on its synchronized body. It will pass the first one, send the message and set "changed" to false since it was true. Now, it will pass the second thread, but here is the problem, "changed" is already set to false. As a result, it won't send the message even though it is supposed to.
    Would you please let me know if my understanding is correct? If so, what would you propose to resolve the problem? Should I call wait some other or should I notify in a different way?
    Thanks,
    B.D.
    Code:
    private static volatile boolean bChanged = false;
    private static Thread objMainProcess;
       protected static void Init(){
            objMainProcess = new Thread() {
                public void run() {
                    while( objMainProcess == Thread.currentThread() ) {
                       GetState();
            objMainProcess.setDaemon( true );
            objMainProcess.start();
        public static void initStatusTimer(){
            if(objTimer == null)
                 objTimer = new javax.swing.Timer( 1000, new java.awt.event.ActionListener(){
                    public void actionPerformed( java.awt.event.ActionEvent evt){
                              SetState();
        private static void SetState(){
            if( objMainProcess == null ) return;
            synchronized( objMainProcess ) {
                bChanged = true;
                try{
                    objMainProcess.notify();
                }catch( IllegalMonitorStateException e ) {}
        private static boolean GetState() {
            if( objMainProcess == null ) return false;
            synchronized( objMainProcess ) {
                if( bChanged) {
                    SendMessage();
                    bChanged = false;
                    return true;
                try {
                    objMainProcess.wait();
                }catch( InterruptedException e ) {}
                return false;
        }

    Thanks DrClap for your reply. Everything you said is right. It is not easy to make them alternate since SetState() could be called from different places where the state could be anything else but a status message. Like a GREETING message for example. It is a handshaking message but not a status message.
    Again as you said, There is a reason I can't call sendMessage() inside setState().
    The only way I was able to do it is by having a counter of the number of notifies that have been called. Every time notify() is called a counter is incremented. Now instead of just checking if "changed" flag is true, I also check if notify counter is greater than zero. If both true, I send the message. If "changed" flag is false, I check again if the notify counter is greater than zero, I send the message. This way it works, but it is kind of a patch than a good design fix. I am yet to find a good solution.
    Thanks,
    B.D.

  • Problem with threads running javaw

    Hi,
    Having a problem with multi thread programming using client server sockets. The program works find when starting the the application in a console using java muti.java , but when using javaw multi.java the program doesnt die and have to kill it in the task manager. The program doesnt display any of my gui error messages either when the server disconnect the client. all works find in a console. any advice on this as I havent been able to understand why this is happening? any comment would be appreciated.
    troy.

    troy,
    Try and post a minimum code sample of your app which
    does not work.
    When using javaw, make sure you redirect the standard
    error and standard output streams to file.
    Graeme.Hi Graeme,
    I dont understand what you mean by redirection to file? some of my code below.
    The code works fine under a console, code is supposed to exit when the client (the other server )disconnects. the problem is that but the clientworker side of the code still works. which under console it doesnt.

  • Problem with threads and camera.

    Hi everybody!
    I've a problem with taking snapshot.
    I would like to display a loading screen after it take snapshot ( sometimes i
    have to wait few seconds after i took snapshot. Propably photo is being taken in time where i have to wait).
    I was trying to use threads but i didn't succeed.
    I made this code:
    display.setCurrent(perform);
            new Thread(new Runnable(){
                public void run() {
                    while((!performing.isShown()) && (backgroundCamera.isShown())){
                        Thread.yield();
                    notifyAll();
            }).start();
            new Thread(new Runnable(){
                public void run() {
                    try {
                        this.wait();
                    } catch(Exception e) {
                        exceptionHandler(e);
                    photo = camera.snapshot();
                    display.setCurrent(displayPhoto);
            }).start();This code is sometimes showing performing screen but sometimes no.
    I don't know why. In my opinion performing.isShown() method isn't working correctly.
    Does anyone have some idea how to use threads here?

    Hi,
    I've finally managed to work this fine.
    The code:
           Object o = new Object();
           display.setCurrent(perform);
            new Thread(new Runnable(){
                public void run() {
                    while(!performing.isShown()){
                        Thread.yield();
                   synchronized(o) {
                      o.notify();
            }).start();
            new Thread(new Runnable(){
                public void run() {
                    try {
                        synchronized(o) {
                           o.wait(1);
                    } catch(Exception e) {
                        exceptionHandler(e);
                    photo = camera.snapshot();
                    display.setCurrent(displayPhoto);
            }).start();

  • Problem with threads hanging

    We have a problem where our application stops responding after a few days of usage. Things will for fine for a day or two, and then pretty quickly threads will start getting hung up, usually in places where they are allocating memory
    We are running WebLogic 8.1 SP2 on Sun JDK 1.4.2_04 on Solaris 8 using the alternate threading model and the -server hotspot vm. We are running pretty much the same code that we had no problems with under WebLogic 6.1 SP4 and Sun JDK 1.3.1.
    A thread dump usually shows that some or all of our execute threads are in the state "waiting for monitor entry" even though they are not currently waiting on any java locks. Here is a sample thread from the thread dump (we have ~120 threads so I don't want to post the full dump).

    String.java line 1446 for this jdk allocates a new String object, and all the other threads in this state also are creating new objects or arrays, etc.
    We've done a pstack on this process when it's in this state, and the threads that are in the "waiting for monitor entry" that look like they're allocating memory are all waiting on the same lwp_mutex_lock with some allocation method that's calling into the native TwoGenerationCollectorPolicy.mem_allocate_work (see pstack output below for the same thread as in the thread dump above)

    Also when it's having this problem, the "VM Thread" is always using a lot of processor time. We did a couple of pstacks today while it was having this problem, and this thread was stuck in the ONMethodSweeper.sweep for over 15 minutes when we finally killed the server.

    Has anyone ever seen anything like this? I'm trying to figure out if this is caused by something we're doing, or something relating to our environment and jvm options. Any ideas?

    Thanks for the reply - I'm testing our app with the +UseConcMarkSweepGC now in our test environment to make sure it doesn't cause any problems there.  Unfortunately the only place we've had this problem is on the production server, so it's extra difficult debugging this.
    We're using the following memory options:
    -ms512m -mx512m -XX:NewSize=128m -XX:PermSize=192m -XX:MaxNewSize=128m -XX:MaxPermSize=192m -XX:SurvivorRatio=8and the following debugging options, as we've also been seeing OutOfMemoryErrors ( see http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jsp?forum=37&thread=522354&tstart=45&trange=15 )
    -verbosegc -XX:+PrintGCDetails -XX:+PrintGCTimeStamps -XX:+PrintHeapAtGCBTW, which c++filt version and options are you using? Our Solaris boxes only seem to have the GNU version installed. I was trying to run that on some of the other stack traces and wasn't getting anywhere, and didn't know if because it was GNU version wouldn't work on something compiled with the Sun compiler.
    Thanks!
