Problem with subtitle option

When I play a movie that has subtitle on it there option button to turn on the subtitle is missing on my desktop iTunes. However, when I play from my iphone and my laptop the option to turn on subtitle is present. Both iTunes versions are up to date on both computers. However, one is running Leopard and the laptop is using Snow Leopard.
Any idea how I can activate the subtitles on my iMac?

after includeing the these methods they are giving the following output
it was prompting up with a alet saying the incoming call....
i have made another change like in the startApp(),I have checking the object state if it was in the running state i am doing the neccessary arrangements to save the details,and when it encounters the resumeRequest it come to the startApp() method and checking for the object state and giving output
My logic was very clear and i am not sure about the device
can anybody tell me what are the modifications that i have to made to reach my objective(after the completion of the calling it should come to the previous screen...")

Hi, I have problems with subtitles shown in films on my atv 1. After they are shown they are not be hidden automatically - ?

Couple of problems have appeared recently with IE11 on Windows 8.1 Pro - everything was fine, but I am assuming a recent patch has caused the problem. Problems are not seen on IE11 on Windows 7 Pro or on other browsers. I'm running on auto-update,
so should have the latest software versions.
1) Extra white space is inserted before a table. It happens on multiple web sites. Length of the space varies and could make you think the page has failed. It appears to be consistent for a page but I see no pattern between

2) Multi level Menus implemented through CSS with drop downs to the side are suddenly inordinately sensitive when moving into the drop down making the menu almost useless.

Problem with subtitles automatically displaying when they shouldn't

Hi all,
I've got a DVD with multiple languages (English, Spanish, and French) and one subtitle stream (English) on the main program of a DVD I am authoring. I would like the DVD to default to the English audio stream and for the subtitles to be in the "off" state". The user can then select via a menu button if the subtitles are to be displayed or not.
The problem is, on certain (multiple) DVD players, the client is telling me that the subtitles are automatically displaying, regardless of whether or not they have chosen to show them. Of course, none of my test players exhibit this behavior, so it is difficult for me to troubleshoot what the problem might be.
I have tried setting it to default to a blank subtitle track and have also tried removing the English language designation on the subtitle track (which feel more like workarounds more than actual solutions), but the subtitles are still automatically displaying.
Any guess as to what is going on? Is this a problem on the client end, or is there scripting I will need to add to ensure consistent results from player to player?

I was able to solve the subtitle display problem with some simple scripting. For some reason certain DVD players (a fairly high percentage) are ignoring any Set System Stream commands from the DVD.

Problems with using Option key when starting up

I have 3 internal drives using a PCI card (2 slots) that allows me to use large drives with more capacity than stock allowance on my G4 Quicksilver 867 mhz 1.5 GB RAM tower.
All drives are Seagate Baracudas ATA: 2-400GBs and 1-200GB. I bought the 400s at the same time.
My main drive has OSX 10.4.11 (#1), and it is backed up to Baracuda #2 (400GB) which is a slave to my Main drive (using SuperDuper All files for a mirror bootable copy). The 3rd drive has Leopard 10.5.1 for learning and trying Leopard.
On the second PCI slot is the smaller 200GB Baracuda.
After backing up using SuperDuper (Main to #2) as a mirror, I see #2 in the Apple > Prefs > Start Up Disk.
After the first backup I can see all 3 drives when using Option key at startup, but instead of seeing the names of each drive under the normal hard disk icons, #2 has a SCSI icon underneath the hard drive icon, it's name (Mac BU) is missing and I can't start up to it. The other #1 and #3 looked as expected. I chose #1, it launched, fine.
On second backup, #2 is still in Prefs > Start up Disk panel, but this time doesn't show up on when using the Option key at start up. I have replicated this, but erasing #2, rebacking up twice.
With only the #1 and #3 drives showing at start up with Option key and #1 selected in the Start up Disk panel, I chose #3 (Leopard) in the Option window view, and my G4 froze at the gray apple screen. I hard shut downed, powered up and the G4 defaulted to Main (10.4.11)
I selected #3 Leopard in Prefs > Start Up Disk, restarted OK.
I restarted with the Option key (only #1 and #3 show) and now my main drive didn't have it's name only the SCSI icon under the normal hard disk icon like #3 was doing. UGH!
Nervously, I chose #3 with Leopard and the G4 started up to it OK.
I then reselected my Main #1 drive in the Start Up Disk panel, restarted to #1 OK.
OK, problems summary:
1) I can't use SuperDuper to create a blessed bootable #2 drive at Option start up, but I mention this for more info about a possible problem at Option startup, more than I want comment on SuperDuper potential bug / conflict.
2) I didn't try choosing #3 in the Start Up Disk panel, as I was affraid the G4 would freeze and then I might not be able to select either of the other #1 or #3 at Option start up as something is wrong with using Option key start up, and #3 would have been selected in Start Up Panel, which I was afraid I might not be able to get to again.
2) When I start up either of #1 or #3, I get momentary black screens after the gray apple screen at Option key start up and then again after the apple progress bar. This doesn't happen when I start up directly either drive when the drives are selected using the Start Up Disk panel
When using the Option startup, I am experiencing the above problems.
Whew, I know, but does anyone have any input and fixes?

Well... good news / bad news
Turns out, I have an Acard 6280M and have 3 drives connected to it as mentioned (#1 & 2 are mirrored using SuperDuper with 10.5.1, #3 is a clean install off a new Apple OSX disk 10.5, then updated to 10.5.1)
I also have a Firewire external drive, that I used SuperDuper to make it a mirror of #1, using the same procedure backing up #1 to #2, to test SuperDuper.
The firmware update directions tells you to start up off a drive not on the PCI card, I used #4.
While running off #1, I selected #4 in the Start Up disk pref and it booted OK! This seems to rule out SuperDuper being the problem - of creating a mirror from #1 to #2 (both on the Acard) and then not seeing #2 in the Option key boot screen.
I applied the firmware, which directs you to first update the Acard driver to 2.06, which is included in the folder with the firmware updater.
I did this and then applied the firmware updater.
I then applied the driver upgrade to drives #1 and #2 (10.4.11) while running off #4. I did not apply the driver update to #3 (10.5.1) and restarted, using Option key.
All 4 drives appeared successfully on screen as expected with their names!
Then I selected each drive one by one:
#1 = kernal panic. Hard shut down, used Option key again
#2 = kernal panic, same as #1
#3 = froze at gray Apple screen - no spinning gear. Hard shut down.
Tthankfully, left Start Up disk pref to be #4 external and on restart, let the system boot off without going to the Option screen. #4 booted OK. Whew...
So all 3 drives on the Acard, won't boot. I was concerned it was the 2.06 driver, but since it wasn't applied to #3 Leopard drive, I'm assuming the firmware is the issue and perhaps not compatible with 10.4.11 or 10.5.1?
Two things I've not tried:
1) With #4 selected in Sys Prefs, then using Option key and selecting #4 there too to see if using the Option key selector is a problem too.
2) Selecting any of #1, #2, or #3 drives in Sys Prefs and restarting without Option key selector.
My fear is that if my last working drive #4 isn't the default drive set in Sys Prefs, if Acard isn't the problem alone and there is also a problem selecting any drive using the Option key - even #4, then if #4 isn't the default and all 3 Acard drives panic on regular boot (non-Option key) and I have to hard restart, will keep defaulting to whatever drive I set in the Sys Prefs and not be able to get back to #4.
Should I just go to my local computer store and see if they have a newer model PCI card and trash my existing one as I may have ruined it with the firmware updater?
Thoughts?

Problem with "unite" option in illustrator

Hello,
I have problem with new Illustrator. I get distorted shapes after using "unite" in pathfinder or when rescaling, often shapes get distorted when expanding strokes to shapes, what is going on? I use illustrator for quite some time and never had anything like this. Screenshots attached.
Also I need to updade software through CC app each time I turn computer on, update seems not to register somehow.

In cases like this, the first guess is Align to Pixel Grid
You may select everything and then untick Align to Pixel Grid in the Transform pallete, and also untick Align New Objects to Pixel Grid in the flyout options.
You may avoid document types with that as default (RGB for web and the like) or change the default for such documents.

Serious problem with encrypting options of Symbian...

Yesterday I've got a serious problem with the encrypting options of my Nokia C7 with Symbian Belle.
After encrypting all memories (300MB C: internal memory, 8GB D: mass memory and 8GB microSDHC memory card) I saw that even for the user all files were unreadable (even the name of the file).
It's not like the old password system for memory card present until Symbian Anna (that made the memory card inaccessible only for other phones and pc).
So I decrypt them, wanting to turn back the situation. The 300MB C: internal memory was correctly decrypted, same as the 8GB E: microSDHC external memory card.
But the internal 8GB D: mass memory was decrypted and wiped out. Or, for better explanation, it was formatted.
FORTUNATELY I'm obsessed with data security so the internal mass memory contains only the maps and some video copied inside the memory (I don't remember well but I think that was all).
But I think that is a serious problem. I sincerely don't want to retry again for checking if this was only a case or a recurrent bug...

Problem with large option class during runtime 11.5.10

It seems like our Oracle Configurator has a problem with loading multiple large option classes with about 10,000 items under it. We are running 11.5.10. My guess is that Oracle has to load everything in the option class and at some point the server just gives up after loading so much data.
Basically the model looks like this and was set up by Oracle themselves in 04. Overtime the option classes grew.

Is there an optimal amount for an option class? Is the model structure possibly outdated and we should break up the option classes into models to alleviate some of the pain? Or are we at the limitation that Oracle Configurator can do and should peruse a custom solution?

Funny thing really because the Case study for Chapter 4 is from our company that Oracle put together for us and its not working in the sense that it seems the servers can't handle the current model structure. I wouldn't blame the UI for these crashes and we already hide stuff from the user (ie, having to sort through all 10,000 items and hiding the BOM structure). Quick story of why i want to try and fix it is becuase the way its set up now in the model document is that 3 people could kill the server by basically saying "ok i selected this item for this location" (which would load the 10,000 items into memory on the server and not to the UI upon selection of the model) and then they would say... "ok now copy this selection to all these 50 places" (which would load those items again for each place that the item had to copied to) and BOOM server dead. I think sandeeps diagram of the changes is a really good idea and could help out alot and I tossed out that idea a few times before around my work place to help with the server issues. I feel that it would work but is it also possible that maybe configurator can't support our model the way they are wanting it to work?

Problem with select option in module pool

I have successfully created a select option in my module using sub-screen. My problem is the EXTENSION buttom in the select option. When i click on the EXTENSION button a proper pop-up appears but when i input some values or cancel this pop-up then the program gives the following dump.

The attribute screen type with the values 'Normal Screen' and
'Subscreen' determines the use of the screen. If a normal screen is used
as subscreen or vice versa, an error occurs.
The screen "ZRPMSEA" 0002 has, in this respect, an inappropriate screen type.

Problems with Paypal option- iTunes Crashes!

I originally experienced similar problem as others with activating paypal, getting a confim #, and then nothing. I was using Mozilla.
Then I got a new computer, new versin of iTunes 5.0.1 and whenever I clicked on the link below the Paypal option to activate paypal account iTunes just crashes completely! This happens regardless of browser IE, or Mozilla. Anybody heard of this? Any ideas?

Problem with F4 option for one field

While creating pricing condition records (VK11), one field is not having F4 option. That field is KGKG1 (Condition group1).
Ihave created one table with s.org, dist.channel and condition group1 (KDKG1).
While creating onle this problem. While changing and displaying the F4 option (i am able to select the values from list) available.
What would be the reason. Is it require to change in table like domain, fields.
Please help me to solveit out.

Problem with my "option" key

somebody please help me of this case!
I'm using iMac with OS 10.5.8, I just updated the security update-007 yesterday,
actually I did nothing special, just the daily operation as usual,
but I found that sometimes my iMac hold the "option" key automatically that leads to a problem,
I cannot type in normal english, they all become symbols& french accents!!
I restart my computer and it's alright! But it occurs again soon..
how can I fix this problem?

Use Disk Utility to repair permissions on your computer. You should do this after every update as well as scanning your computer to verify with first aid before installing new software. I would also only install software packages one at a time and test the computer a bit before doing the next update. Frequently we see people posting here who do 5 updates in a row on a computer and then the computer won't start.

JDev 9.0.3 - problem with compiler options to copy resource file types

Following a quite strange scenario, I found something bizarre related to the project compile options in 9.0.3 production (I assume the same problem was present way before...)
Let me first present the facts:
Assume I have in my project one file named noext (with no extension!) and another one file.verylongext. I know it's not best practice, but let's say they are third party files and I would prefer not to touch them.
I am able to add them to the project sources, in the specified packages, then I update the Project Settings/Compiler/Resource File Types to Copy to Output Directory.
But, when I compile, I realize that not all my files were copied to classes/. In fact, if I specify ...;noext;file.verylongext, I get only noext copied, while if I specify ...;file.verylongext;noext, I only get file.verylongext.
I also tried to use only .verylongext, but the result was exactly the same...
Of course I can copy the files manually, outside JDev, but this is not best practice neither... :)
As long as JDev 9.0.3 seems to provide support for filtering the files that will be added to a project (see thread Re: update column for details), I don't really see the purpose of filtering again the files that will be transferred to classes/ (apart from the little bug).
I think it would be far more useful to have the reverse filter, i.e. "Resource File Types not to Copy to Output Directory". JDev team, would it be possible to have this in 9.0.4?

Well, you know, since I said I have them in my project, it means that I added them there and I checked that they really were added. No offense...

No, I did not enable this option, since I see all my files in the project and the only source path is project's src.
But my real point is related to the enhancement request I made. Given the circumstances,
could you provide the reverse filter, i.e. "Resource File Types not to Copy to Output Directory", in a future version, maybe 9.0.4?

Problem with subtitles

Well i want to use greek subtitles to see a movie...The encoding is iso-8859-7 and it encodes correctly all the documents,but when i try to use it to subtitles the text is wrong!:(
I've tried it with vlc and mplayer and in many movies and with many subtitles,but always same...:(
Any suggestions?:/
