Problem with Table Access Full

Hi,
Please help me how to resolve the problem of table access full, when i am executing query i facing a problem with these. all though i have create index on these is queru but execution time taking too late.
Also please help if there any syntax to run faster execution.

Hi,
Please try to analyze your tables once with DBA's help.
If the above does not work, try to use hints which will force use the index created on the column.
Do not use any conversion functions on that column, in the where clause while checking any condition.
If you are storing numbers in a character column, try to have the conditional value as character value in where clause instead of number type.

There's this table that has phone call records (30 million per day) that is partitioned by month (using the date column) and stores the last 6 months.
The primary key is date (varchar2 in yymmdd format) + call_id (a varchar2(18) with a format like this yyyymmdd+<3letters>+<sequentialnumber>)
The partition is by range like this:

Looking at the cost, the full scan is way better, but this is obviously not the case. Why does this happen?
This problem forces many querys on this table to use hints or force the index use by adding conditions to the where clause like this
where fecha = '080801'
and clave like '20080801%'
when just by stating the date would be enough to choose the correct partition. It also messes up joins with other tables.
The table is analized every month, it has statistics that claim: 237,981,000 rows, 3,222,677 blocks, GLOBAL STATS: YES, LAST ANALYZED: 15/10/2008 21:05:26, Average row length: 213.
The partition envolved in this query has this stats: 32,520,520 rows, 442,715 blocks, analized on 27/08/2008 20:43:40
The index has this stats: analized on 15/10/2008 21:35:32, Blevel: 3, leaf blocks: 1,056,410, distinct keys: 238,484,510.
It is a local index and each partition has its own statistics.

If I don't understand incorrectly the plan and the Predicater information, it seems the full scan version that costs less is actually doing a full scan from the biggining of the table (6 months) up to the 080825 date and the one using an index (hinted) does a better scan.

Notice the difference in cardinality between your two select statements:
SELECT STATEMENT, GOAL = ALL_ROWS Cost=5 Cardinality=1
SELECT STATEMENT, GOAL = ALL_ROWS Cost=10450 Cardinality=472161Apparently since the optimizer believed the first statement was going to return one row, it used an index. But in the second statement it believed it was going to return nearly the whole table (didn't you say it had around 500k rows?). Hence full table scan.

Problem with table formatting

I'm having a lot of problems with tables not reflecting their formatting when I open them in a browser. I've tried opening in Safari, Firefox & Camino with the same results. For example, a row with the following html content has a much larger height & aligns the text to the top when opened in a browser:

Header tags are usually used round a bit of text, not parts of a table, and if you don't specify the margins on them, can force different amounts of space below in different browsers. Try making the bottom margin on h6 zero, and confine it to text within a cell.
Also, if you can upload your page somewhere and let us have the url it will be easier to troubleshoot.

Problem with file access in other computer in jsp

I have problem with file accessing in other computer in jsp.
The follow code

will throw exception at the second print.
but it works well in main funtion.
Is anybody know what is the problem.
JSP works on windows2003 server,tomcat 5.0.28 JDK1.4 net share folder on windows2000 server

Problem with tables -- need help!

I am having problems with table formatting, when using
Preformatted text. The tables look fine in the WYSIWYG editor, but
have lots of extra space above and below the text when looking at
the output files.
I will attach the code from one of the HTML files from my
project, so you can see what I'm talking about.

Well, if you're talking about the single-celled table with
the line:
<p class=Preformatted>[assembly:
Ace.AceAssembly]</p>
</pre>
... you can eliminate the <P> tags. that will give you
one line less. Otherwise, your remaining space is the result of the
<PRE> tag. It, like the <XMP> tag, gives it one line of
space beneath as well.
Your alternative beyond that would be to, when needed, wrap
up the script in Javascript. That line, for instance, wouldn't need
it.

Hi,
Using SPACE against the keys (LAUFI, LAUFD - specifically LAUFD) will most likely return no results. LAUFD, being one of the keys and the date which the program is supposed to run (considering that this is settlement data - it has already run) - implies that this field will be populated. Putting " = SPACE" in your where clause is saying that you want to find records from the table where those fields are not populated. That is fine for LAUFI, considering it is the indicator for a proposal only. In my requirement, my client did not want to see proposals but only real payment runs - therefore, LAUFI = SPACE is correct.
The reason you are having poor performance while selecting form this table is because it is a cluster table like bseg. This thread explains a little bit of why cluster tables are a performance nightmare when trying to select - although it is about bseg, you will get the idea:

Problem with table MBEWH

Hello SAP experts , im having a little problem with table MBEWH because the data i whant to extract isnt the correct one, i saw that this table stores all the prices for the materials and it groups them by year and by month but when i check to see what was the price for a specific material the price i had on that time periord inst the same as the one on the system, also i manage my material with baches and when i check to see if that batch was in that period of time it isnt so im really confused as to how the system saves the historical data on this table, thank you in advanced.

Problem with Table control lines

This is the problem with table control lines:
I have screen with table control and I would like change the table control lines dynamicaly.
Exp:
In my PBO the Internal table which I am using to loop the TC is havig 7 records and its displayed with 7 records, now I have added one more record into my ITAB and now ITAB is having 8 records, when I am looping this ITAB with TC its taking the TC lines 7 only.
here is the code:
Initial values in gt_scr400 = 8
Initial values in tc_scr400 = 8
Now added one more recor into gt_scr400 , now gt_scr400 = 9.
LOOP AT   gt_scr400
       INTO wa_scr400
       WITH CONTROL tc_scr400
       CURSOR tc_scr400-current_line.
ENDLOOP.
I have used this logic :
DESCRIBE TABLE gt_scr400 LINES g_rec_300 .
tc_scr300-lines = g_rec_300.
but its not modifying the lines in my table control.
How to change the TC lines based on ITAB total records.

there is a field in TableViewName-xxx
don't remember the exact field name for (total no of records)
you can check it in debug. when you add records in Internal table, u need to modify this field which is set at the first time when table control is populated.

Problem with table paging [PDK for NET]

Hi All,
I have a problem with table paging in PDK for .NET (ver 2).
The Table has 14 visible rows.
The lead selection is set to "SINGLE"
When the user selects a row I can use
Table1.SelectedKeys(0) Mod Table1.VisibleRowCount
in order to get the info of the selected row.
If I will page using the "Prev/Next" page of the Table UI element it will also work.
However, when I press "Prev/Next" item and then select a row it chooses the wrong row.

how are you doing ?
The SAPTable is similar to a DataGrid control and need to be bound to the datasource on every postback
a good idea is to keep the dataset available in the page or on the server ( so that you dont need to keep making expensive fetch operations
The selected row is affected by the recordset (dataset) and needs additional programming
A work around for the selected row issue is to save it in a server side hidden variable (or anything that will persist) and read and set the value in the page / next button handler

try to open the query in RSRT and debug the query.the error is due to some customer exit variable so try to debug the code for the variable and rectify it.

After doing the upgrade system from 4.7 to 6.0 we have problems with table Teven. Trying executing RPTIME00 when the instruction update (table teven) is executed the program stay updating and never finished
Does anybody know why that happens?

Did you update your database statistics after the ugprade?
Try to catch an SQL Trace for the statement using ST05.

Still having problems with VPN access

Hello!
I am having problems with my VPN clients getting access to the networks over a MPLS infrastruture. I can reach these resources form my Core network (172.17.1.0/24) and my Wifi (172.17.100.0/24) but not from my VPN network (172.17.200.0/24). From the VPN I can reach the Wifi network (which is behind a router) and the rule that allows that also allows access to the other networks but for some reason it is not working.
When I ping inside the core network from VPN I can connect and get responses. When I ping to the Wifi network, I can get responses and connect to resources there. A tracert to the wifi network shows it hitting the core switch (a 3750 stack) @ 172.17.1.1, then the Wifi router (172.17.1.3) and then the host. A tracert to a resource on the MPLS network from the VPN shows a single entry (the destination host) and then 29 time outs but will not ping that resource nor connect.
I've posted all the info I can think of below. Any help appreciated.

Hi Roger,
I bet you already checked it, but does the MPLS end router has route to VPN client subnet 172.17.200.x (or default) pointing to core rtr)?
Also, if the MPLS link has any /30 subnet assigned, you may need to include that as well in Object group LAN-NETWORKS.

Problem with Table display in Adobe Form of Web Dynpro ABAP

Hi Team,
I'm trying to display a table in Adobe Print Form (not interactive). The table is bound to the context node in the Web Dynpro ABAP where the cardinality is 0:N. I get a short dump. Don't know what to do here. I'm able to display individual fields from my context successfully. Looks like something is missing when I try to display a table. Any pointers to display a data table in Adobe? Any step by step example you know of where I can find out what I did wrong? Many thanks for your time

We upgraded our system(2004S) to SP10 so that we can use the ADOBE form printing in Web Dynpro ABAP but could not apply note 1034425 because of the validity constraints in SNOTE. All the pre-requisite notes are already in the system apart from one note 1029721 which talks about supporting input helps. We don't want to use input helps in our system and cannot upgrade to SP11 because of problems with Business functionality.
Questions:
1) Is note 1034425 absolutely dependent on 1029721?
2) If NOT, can someone please correct the validity so that we can implement using SNOTE.
3) Would it be OK if we manually apply the changes specified in 1034425 without implementing 1029721?
4) If all of the above is not applicable, is there any other note which fixes the above mentioned short dump.
Your help in this matter will greatly help us in using the ADOBE services provided by SAP WDA.
