The download for update from 2.0.0.0 to 2.3.0.0 fails

I had exactly the same problem as you describe, except I did not also try the update through DM.
On the advice of some folks in another forum, I tried a different WiFi connection instead of my home WiFi connection.  I went to a local bookstore and used their WiFi for the update, and it worked perfectly on the first try.  I'm not sure why, as the download seemed to be successful at home, and the failure was during installation, but it worked.  So give that a shot.

  • Problems with SCXI-1000 after update from Labview 5.1 to LabView 6

I'm using a SCXI-1000 board to readout temperatures from some Pt-100 sensors. The analog signal going into the SCXI-1000 is correct. The reading by LabView program is not. The SCXI-1000 is connected to the PC via a PCI-1200 bus. I've used this setup for some time with LabView 5.1. Here it worked nicely. Recently I upgraded to LabView 6. Now the readout is not giving the proper values. When I reinstalled Labview 5.1 it was all OK again. When using LabView6 do I need to calibrate of configure the SCXI-1000 for my temperature readout? Are there any known problems with upgrading from LabView5 to Labview6? How can I see which analog values are being read by the SCXI-1000 and to which values they are converte
d? Hopefully you can help me.

Upgrading from different versions of LabVIEW shouldn't be a problem; I would suspect different versions of NI-DAQ first. Make sure you use the Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) to configure your card.
To see if it's a driver update issue, when you use the LabVIEW 6 installation CD, choose custom install and don't upgrade your drivers. You may have to browse into your LabVIEW 5 directory and use copies of the VIs from there.

  • Problem with iOS 5; Backing up from iTunes.

I have a hugh problem when uppdating to iOS 5. When I try to configure the iPhone after uppdating: I try to choose back-up from iTunes but it just says "connect to iTunes" but iTunes allready have install all the back-up and it's connected. I've tried unplugg and plugg in again like 100 times. What shall I do?

Did you try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes back again?
Also try this, copied from http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2802
"No SIM installed" alert (GSM models only)
Remove the SIM card (micro-SIM on iPhone 4). Insert the SIM eject tool or the end of a small paper clip into the hole on the SIM tray. Press firmly and push it straight in until the tray pops out. See this document for more information.
Verify the SIM card is not damaged or dirty.
    Reinstall the SIM card.
Turn the phone off and back on.
Wait approximately two minutes, then see if iPhone detects the SIM card and if it will register on the network.
If that doesn't work, try another SIM card, if possible, to see if it is detected.

  • Can someone help me with downloading the 2.0 update from iTunes

I recently purchase the new software for the IpodTouch then I tried to download it, it will start to download then it stops and tell me my "Network connection has timed out" "make sure your network setting are connected and your network connection is active" can some please help me out?

    Proceed with caution!
I tried to install this "update" and it has caused nothing but grief. When it installs, I get the error "this iPod could not be restored due to an unknown error(6)."
After this, the itouch gets stuck in recovery mode and the only way to restore it is to create a new user on my of, reinstall iTunes and all my music, then it will come back to life, but without my contacts, calendar, etc.
I have tried fresh downloads of this update at least 3 times with the same result.
I am pretty disappointed by Apple on this. I wasted $10 on this upgrade and all it's done is waste my time.

  • My Apple TV is having problems with slideshows for photos synced from iTunes. How can I make it play thew whole slideshow without starting the loop again half way through?

My Apple TV randomly returns to the beginning in the middle of the slideshow for no reason. I don't habve the photos on shuffle
I started the slide show many times and somtimes it got through 20 photos, other times 50. Then all of a sudden, it goes back to the beginning and starts again. It's so frustrating as there is no reason for this and it doesn't loop back to the start on the same photo each time. I have about 350 photos in the album and they all loaded fine as thumbnails before I played the slideshow.
    Can anyone help please?
    Thanks, Adam

Have solved my own problem. My PC sits on the floor so I have a four-port USB hub on my desktop with one port in use. I use one of the other three ports for USB-related task. As I was shutting down for the night I had a - what turned out to be inspired - thought about whether there was an adequate power supply from the hub. I then tried the iPod USB connection directly into the front of my machine and everything worked. It seems that an inadequate power supply was the cause of this strange set of conditions.

  • Problem with registrating serilanumber after updating from flash builder 4.5 to 4.6

Had an upgraded suite Master Collection with 4.5 and unninstallet this for then to install a clean 4.6
Serialnumber for MasterCollection don't work, and I'm stuck with a trial version. The update should be free.
I have registerd tha master Collection suite on AdobeID, but it don't take when i try to register Flash Builder 4.6
    Any suggestions?

    Hi MoTor,
You would need to uninstall existing Flash Builder 4.5 on your machine and then install Flash Builder 4.6 in trial mode.
During installation, it doesn't accept the serial number of Master Collection. So, just install it in trial mode and make sure that the you select the same language as that of your Master Collection, during FB installation.
Now launch FB and it would then accept Master Collection CS 5.5 serial number.

  • Whenever I download a movie from iTunes it always comes up "download error. Tap to retry"

whenever i download a movie from itunes it will start downloading but will crash featuring the error message "Download error. Tap to retry." how do I fix this?

I am not sure if your problem has already been solved, but I came across your question because I was having the same problem with music I had bought from itunes on my iphone 4. The message kept appearing for 3 days when I tried to download in 3G. Once I tried it from work where I am hooked up to wifi, both of my pending songs downloaded faster than I could blink. Perhaps you could try it again once you are hooked up to wifi. I am brand new to the whole apple world, but I'd be interested if this is the answer to your issue. Good luck!!

  • HT1349 My computer popped up with an update from iTunes several days ago. I downloaded the update and when I went to open iTunes, it won't open. I've tried to download again from the website, but it still gives me this error message.  Missing MSVCR80.dll

My computer popped up with an update from iTunes several days ago. I downloaded the update. When I went to open iTunes on my computer, it gives me the following error messages...
    Missing MSVCR80.dll file.
    Error 7 (Windows error 126)
I tried to download iTunes again from the website and repair the problem, to no avail.  I've tried several times, but cannot get it to open. I have a Windows 7 machine.  My iPhone 5 and iPad work fine and have not asked me to update. I've never had a problem with iTunes before.  I hate to delete it entirely from my computer and start over.  I'm afraid I'll lose all the music I have downloaded there. What do I do?

  • If I change the nation setting of my iTunes in order to buy a song from the American iTunes store, then change my setting back to the Korean store (where you cannot buy music) will that create any problems with my downloaded content?

If I change the nation setting of my iTunes in order to buy a song from the American iTunes store, then change my setting back to the Korean store (where you cannot buy music) will that create any problems with my downloaded content? I want to buy an album that I cannot get hold of in Korea, but it is available in the US iTunes store. However since most of my apps are downloaded from the Korean store I'll need to switch back in order to update them. Does anyone know if there are any issues in doing this. I'd rather find out before I spend money, change my store setting back to Korea, and then get told I can't listen to the music because I bought it from the US store and my iTunes is set to the Korean store.
    Cheers.

You canot easily change your country settings.  The iTunes Store in a country is intended only for use by that country's residents, and only while they are in the country. To use the iTunes Store in a country you need a credit card (or other card type if acceptable in a country) issued in that country, billed to an address in that country, and also be physically present in that country when using the store.  You are also restricted to waiting 90 days between country changes.

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it, which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

  • HT1725 I downloaded an album from itunes and only half of the songs have downloaded. The rest of the songs keep trying to download and then come up with an error saying they cannot download at this time. I'm not sure what the issue is.

I downloaded an album from itunes and only half of the songs have downloaded. The rest keep trying to download, but I keep getting a message that says, "Song cannot be downloaded at this time. Do you want to retry or be done." Each time I retry, the same thing happens. They will not download. I have restarted my phone and the same problem remains.

Other people have been having similar problems with songs over a number of days.
Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting it from your iTunes library and redownload it via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if it re-downloads in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that song and use the 'Report a Problem' link.

I just downloaded an album from itunes and 2 of the tracks will not play at all, they cut off. I need help with this??

Does the track play correctly in Quicktime Player?  If it does then it is an iTunes issue.  If it doesn't then it is possible the file was not completely downloaded, or is corrupt.
Downloading (using iOS or computer) past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519 - enabled with iTunes 10.3 and newer; not available in all countries; apps, books (not audiobooks), music, t.v. shows, and movies (some - not all studios have permitted this). Movies currently available in the USA only. Downloading previously purchased movies and TV shows requires iTunes 10.6 or later.  Discontinued items not available. For items not included in the iCloud list (e.g., ringtones), or locations or computer systems where iCloud is not (yet?) available, you only get one download per fee paid.
If it can be downloaded again, delete the track from iTunes.
Select the store on the left side of iTunes.
Click on Purchased on the right side under Quick Links.
You can re-download your available previous purchases.
If it is corrupt and you cannot download it a second time, contact Apple.  Contact iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history or,
