first of all...I upgraded MSN 7.5 to live messenger (big mistake) and since I wasn't happy with it I tried to return to my old msn,so I made a restore system to 2 days before that,no problem here,but after that I tried to launch iTunes and it couldn't open, arguing it can't launch because there's a problem with my audio config
I tried to fix this with the guide in the site and it still doesn't work, I uninstalled and reinstalled both versions (7 and 7.1) and both have the same error,also my msn doesn't have any sounds so...maybe that **** crappy live messenger f*cked up some of my config but as much as I do I can't figure it out how to fix it.

typically that's caused by a problem with your QuickTime. (iTunes uses QuickTime for video and audio playback.)

I 've a problem with the print function of Itunes

helo , i 've a problem with the print function of Itunes.
When i'm trying to create a pdf file of my entire library, i've got a partial file of it.
instead of the entire library (37000 songs - 209GByte) the pdf file contains only 18000 songs (1GB - pdf file).
Is there any problem with the pdf creation in Itunes ?

Thanks but I had already read this, and it was no help at all. Under the Summary tab, "Options", there is no check-box to manually manage my stuff. I suspect this is because it is a 2nd gen iPod, with ONLY manual management. The only way to delete my stuff seems to be to reset the entire device.
I like to listen to podcasts. What is particularly frustrating is that the 4th gen shuffle CANNOT play podcasts, but ONLY music, which I discovered after a lot of research and multiple visits to an Apple store. So I have to resort to an older version of the shuffle to play podcasts And now with the latest version of iTunes there seems to be no way to delete any podcasts on the older version. Yes. I had problems with Firefox 3.5. The primary problem was very slow or never-ending loading of certain websites (particularly secure sites and sites with many features). I also have had similar, but not as bad, problems with Safari 4. I never had these problems with Safari 2 or Firefox 2. It just seems that with each update, the problems increased for me. I have read the Safari and Firefox forums and tried many fixes with little improvement. I have come to the conclusion that there is some kind of compatibility problem between the latest versions of Safari and Firefox and Shockwave Flash and/or Javascript and OS 10.4, particularly on PPC Macs. I expect there are many who will disagree and I cannot argue or prove the point. This is just my opinion. And I recognize that my problems could be caused by my setup and not by the browsers. By the way, I do not use any add-ons with any of my browsers. Anyway, I got tired of dealing with it and installed the latest version of Camino about 2 weeks ago. I also did a clean install of Firefox 3.0.13. Camino is working out great for me. It is simple and it works. No problems at all. So currently I am using Camino as my primary browser and Firefox 3.0.13 as my backup. I hope this helps.

Problem with the install of 11.1.0.1.0 Management Agent in silent mode

I have a server with the operation system windows 2003 and a installation WeblogicServer 10.3.2.
Now I like install the managemant agent for Grid Control on this server.
I use silent installation, because the in 11.1.0.1.0 Grid Control no longer supports a GUI-based OUI installation of the agent. (Reference : Master Note for Grid Control 11.1.0.1.0 Installation and Upgrade).
But the silent installation is not sucessfully.

I haven't no further files, in which informations for the silent installation are logged.
I think, the error "ERROR: ERROR: E-Mail-Adresse nicht angegeben" is the actual problem, but I don't like give the e-mail-adress,

Problems with the 'Comments' field in iTunes

First, sorry for my english (I'm danish).
I've read a lot of threads here and everywhere else, but can't find a solution for my exact problem. I use Windows Vista and the newest version of iTunes.
Most of my mp3 songs (35.000) are put directly in album folders to the folder 'D:My Music from another computer via a USB drive and the songs already have id3 tag information on them.
I then add the albums to iTunes and most of my tag information is now updated in iTunes. Names, Artists, Genre, Year, everything is okay. By the way the songs have ID3v2.3 tag information. I see that in my Mp3tag v.2.42 application.
But the problem is with the 'Comments' field:
Those tags (originally put to the songs directly in the proberties of the song in Windows Explorer) will simply not transfer to iTunes 'Comments' field. And if I write something in the iTunes 'Comments' field this will not show up in the fields properties in windows Explorer. It looks like the 'Comments' fields in iTunes and in the proberties in the song are not connected at all!?
I then found out, I could let iTunes convert the ID3 codes, but nothing happens except from when using v. 1.0 or 1.1, because then the comments tag are transferres, but unfortunately all the tags will only show 30 characters!!!
And there's also a different story:
A few albums though are put directly on my computer by using iTunes to import the CD. These songs have ID3 v.2.2 tags, so I guess iTunes import files in that format?
And here it's a little different story. If I put comment data directly to the file proberties in Windows Explorer (after the CD's been imported to iTunes), the comments will show up in iTunes, but only as several 0 and 1 digits! On the other hand, if I put information directly in iTunes 'Comments' field it wil show up correctly in the file proberties! But it's only a few songs/albums that are handled that way.
Well, bottom's line, I want to see my comments tags (which are allready there in the song's proberties) when I browse my music in my folders in Windows Explorer and I want to see the exact same comments if I go to browse my music in iTunes. That should not be a problem ... but it is not ...
Can I please get a solution or at least an explanation, and hopefully in not too tecnical terms.

I, too, hope someone will answer this! I am hoping to catalog my entire CD collection in iTunes and I want to include the storage box number somehow, thinking that "comments" would be a good place to do so. If I cannot do that I'll try to find a program other than iTumes to do it. Does anyone have any suggestions on this topic? ...perhaps I need to open a new thread?

Ok...This was very odd. I left the installation program, in what I considered a frozen state on screen. After about 30 mins, to my surprise, It installed! I'm not computer literate, so, I don't know what to say. But, to just WAIT for it to respond! Good Luck!

Problems with the video display in iTunes.

I was hooking up my PowerBook G4 to my television, so my sister could watch a television show that I had downloaded, while I worked on some stuff online. I don't know what exactly the term for how I had it connect is, but I had my laptop connected to my televisionn so that when I drag the video box off my laptop screen to the right, it appeared on the television. That was fine until I dragged the box back into my laptop's screen. I made the video display so large that the shrink/enlarge tab on the bottom right corner of the video window is off my screen under my dock bar. I've tried exiting out of iTunes and even restarting my computer but iTunes is keeping the video screen that large and I can't figure out how to shrink it, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Pressing F9 and then clicking on iTunes didn't do anything, but I can close iTunes anyways, that isn't the problem. It is just the seperate video display window that is the prblem . As for the other suggestion I cannot right click, so I definatly cannot right click on the window. However if you know of a way I can get it to normal or even original size with out right clicking, that would be helpful.
