Problem with the installation of Developer Suite

Hi,
I bought six months ago the Oracle product to put it in my PC. Today I tried to load the Oracle9i Developer Suite (I would like to see the Procedure Builder to know it for the 1Z0-147 exam....) but I received a message because my version of Developer Suite (9.0.2.0.1) is to old than my version of Oracle (9.2.0.1.0).
Do you know where I can dowload the good version (And wich one is good) or need I to contact Oracle to receive a new CD (I tried to send mail tree times, but no response....)?

The 9.0 version of Developer Suite should have no difficulty connecting to a 9.2 Oracle database. If they're both on the same machine, you do need to make sure to install them in different Oracle Homes, but that's the only limitation I can think of. Can you post the exact error message you received?
In the downloads section, you can either download the 10g preview or the latest 9.2 production version of Developer Suite.

Hello Everyone!
I am trying to install Nokia Ovi Suite in my Windows 7 computer from yesterday, whenever I run the web installer file I am getting the Error Message as "Problem with the installation file" (attached as a jpeg file with this post).
I have downloaded the exe file (approx 88.4MB from : http://nds1.nokia.com/files/support/global/phones/software/Nokia_Ovi_Suite_webinstaller_ALL.exe ) several times, still no luck.
Anyone is having the solution for this problem?

I've downloaded it so many times I nearly exceeded my download limit ! Seriously , I know others must be able to get it , so why is there a problem ? I'm going to stop at the store where I purchased the phone and get THEM to try. If the sig is OK , I'm going to copy it and bring it home , if it's NOT OK then maybe they'll take it up with Nokia as they're the ones selling it to the ' happy customers' ..? When I first contacted support , they said to disable both firewall and A/V before attempting to download it ? I've downloaded thousands of files and never had to do that ? Sure ,you might have to disable something during installation , but not for the download ? I even did it in safe mode with networking and the same thing happened. I even asked if they could send me an install CD and they said NO. Not happy about that either..We'll see what happens.. I like the phone ..I'd just like it to do what I bought it for !!

You may have a hard drive problem. When I installed Lion, the installer told me that it couldn't complete because the hard drive was failing (or broken, the exact words escape me). Since the HD had been functioning just fine, I took it to the Genius Bar, and found out that yes, the hard drive was slowly dying (bad sectors). I couldn't reboot into Snow Leopard, the installer wouldn't let me and then the drive just wouldn't work at all.
I had to replace my drive and restore from Time Machine. Thankfully, I had Time Machine, and had just done a backup 5 minutes before the crash.

I've got a similar problem. iTunes v10.2 worked fine, but when I tried to update it to 10.5 I got a 'Bonjour' error. I eventually solved that but I still couldn't upgrade to 10.5, so I deleted every single Apple, Quicktime, iTunes, etc file on my PC using Revo Unistaller (because the normal Windows Add/Delete programs wouldn't work) but now, when I install the latest iTunes version from scratch (on XP SP3), it says: "the installer encountered errors before it could be configured.... your system has not been modified"
Any ideas?

Problems with the installation of Oracle Role Manager

I have a problem with the deployment of Jboss 4.05GA; just can not load the Role Manager Administrative Console (http://localhost:8080/ormconsole)
Probe load the Jboss and that if I load the console this APPSERVER (http://localhost:8080)
Also probe load the Role Manager Web UI and I had no problems (http://localhost:8080/webui)
Use the method of installation Install Software Only then can make the integration with the IOM.
Any suggestions for solving this problem.

i think i have solved the problem. Try to install the Oracle Role Manager with the installer and select the "Install Software and Configure" and install the "Standard Model" to the Database. Don't deploy the standard.car file.

You must have Pentium4 computer. There is a patch for it, which essentially tells you to rename a symcjit.dll file. Copy all of your CD contents on hard-drive, symcjit.dll file, then click autorun.exe. it should work!!!

Problems with the installation of Nokia PC Suite.

I had a old version of Nokia Pc Suite installed in my pc.So I remove it and I've installed the new version for my new cell-phone Nokia N80.
Now the installation doesn't work... it says : ERROR 1304. Error during the writing in the file C:\Programmi\Nokia\Nokia PC Suite 6\Help\PCSuite_ita.CHM. Make sure of having the right to access to the directory.
I can't delete the "Nokia" directory from my pc!!
PLEASE HELP ME !!!

Hi,
It seems that there are still some old files left after uninstallation of old PC Suite version.
You can try this:
1. Uninstall PC Suite, Nokia Connectivity Solution and Nokia Connectivity Cable drivers, if still exist.
2. Reboot computer
3. Download PC Suite Cleaner from http://europe.nokia.com/A4144912
4. Run it with option "Other problem". It should delete old files.
5. Reboot computer
6. Install PC Suite 6.8

Problems with the installation (JWSDP-1.3)

I have to install the JWSDP-1.3 on a server (Windows 2003) with the Java Version 1.4.2_04 (j2sdk1.4.2_04).
I need this applications for a special software. Only these version from your software is able to run my Software.
The Java Software Developer Kit 1.4.2_04 isn?t the problem!
If I want to open (double klick) the Service Developer it opend a Windown like this
After a few seconds the window is closed an to nothing again...
(If I install a higher version from the SW (1.4 oder 1.6) it is able to install but it doesn?t run with my SW.
Please help me! What can i do????

The card appears to be a megaraid product. Try the following.
If you are installing Oracle VM Server on a Sun Fire X4800, you must provide extra parameters when booting from the installation media (CDROM or ISO file), or when using a kickstart installation. These parameters allow the megaraid_sas driver to load correctly.
If booting from the installation media, press F2 when the initial boot screen is displayed and provide the following additional parameters as part of the boot command:
mboot.c32 xen.gz extra_guest_irqs=64,2048 nr_irqs=2048 --- vmlinuz --- initrd.img

Problems with the installer: Is 900+ minutes to install normal?

3 days now Trying to install my purchased product; Photoshop Creative Suite 6. Followed instructions to a tee, but where the instructions end my problem begins. The installer hits "12% complete" then stays there while the minutes continue to rise. So far 900 minutes and counting. Anyone know what the problem is? No phone help on this product. 3 days now, going on 4 soon. Wish I'd bought the CD!!!!

you've lost connectivity. restart your download.
use a different browser and/or a different wired connection and/or a download manager or try dl'g from prodesigntools.com

if you have a problem starting the download, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.

When i try to install itunes i get the message 'there is a problem with the installer package' - how do i fix this?

also, I called apple support and they told me that it may be due to having uninsatlled itunes in the wrong order - but I never uninsatlled itunes. it just stopped working one day. I do recall that I had gotten a message that stated that quicktime had been uninstalled (maybe my 10 yr old had something to do with that). Go to Microsoft website to fix install and Unistall problems. Click "Run now" from Fix it to remove all iTunes & related installer files:

Be aware that Windows Installer CleanUp Utility will not remove the actual program from your computer. However, it will remove the installation files so that you can start the installation, upgrade, or uninstall over.

Problems with the installation of the Oracle 8i in Red Hat 6.1

It has some days I come trying to install the Oracle (Oracle 8i) in an operational system Linux Red Hat 6.1 and come finding problems, that did not obtain to determine correctly are of the Virtual Java Machine or in runIns.sh of the Oracle.
I go to give a detailed description of the error and mainly of runIns.sh for who it knows vocjs to help me in this arduous task that became the installation of oracle.
The installation of the Virtual Java Machine as well as the one of the Oracle followed the procedures told in the Leiame.Oracle being carried through with the user root.
All the installation process is being carried through with an user of the called system oracle8i pertaining to the primary group oinstall and the suplemental group dba.
When I enter with the following string of command I receive the error below:

I had this problem the best thing to do is make sure you have the Blackdown.org JDK116_v5 for Linux installed. Then:
JAVA_HOME=/somedirectory/jdk116_v5
export JAVA_HOME
This fixed the problem for me and I was able to run runIns.sh.
