Problem with the pre-installed WEATHER application

Hi,
I was quite pleased with the Weather app that came installed with my iPod Touch. I tapped in my location, deleted the default one, and all was well. However, after working for a short while just fine it's not stuck constantly on a sunny 28 degrees. If I tap the icon the actual weather report is correct (a miserable gloomy 2 degrees, lol). It's just irritating me that it's stuck on the main screen. Any ideas?
I have updated to latest firmware and still no good. Can I delete the app at all? Can you delete pre-installed applications? I would try deleting and using a 3rd party app or something if I had to. I'm something of a tidyness freak and it annoys me having so many icons I will never use, haha. I would also like to delete the STOCKS app.
So in summary - Does anyone know what the problem with my weather app is? And can I delete pre-installed apps?

Safari, YouTube, the iTunes WiFi Store, the App Store and the Camera can be removed from the home screen by enabling Restrictions (Settings->General->Restrictions). Manual, Page 95
The other original applications cannot be removed, only moved to another page.
The weather app icon is static 73°F for United States region format or 23°C for United Kingdom region format. Did you switch your region format?

I'm trying to do a reinstall and I'm running into problems. I select my packages then chose Install Packages then get an error that Package Install Failed.
I can only see a few errors on /dev/vc/5 but I'm getting a whole list that
says /x11/aterm: not found in sync db
x11/blackbox: not found in sync db
etc
etc
error: unresolvable conflicts/dependencies:
ctags: conflicts with emacs
I've tried several mirrors and I'm getting the same thing for each.
HELP!!!! :cry:

OK, I guess I don't need help after all. I can see that problems with the install exist and once I get the base packages installed I can install anything else via pacman.
I do have a question though, is there a way to select all of the packages in a group or do I have to do them one at a time?
For instance, if I want everything in the X11 and kde group, can I get them with one command?

Problem with OID when Installing Oracle Application server

Hi Gurus,
When we are trying to install the IAS10R2P2 on a linux box choosing the application server Infrastructure option, the installation part completed with out any problem after running the root.sh file OUI started configuring all the installed components when it is configuring OID it throwed follwing exceptions. Please suggest us a solution to solve this we even tryes reinstalling but facing the same problem.

This is a 10.1.2 IM (Identity Management) installation performed against a 9.0.4 MR (Metadata Repository) created with RepCA. 10.1.2 IM install against 9.0.4 MR is not supported.This error is seen when installing 10.1.2 IM against 9.0.4 MR .
Solution
1) Install a 10.1.2 MR with repCA or with the 10.1.2 AS installer
2) Install 10.1.2 IM against the 10.1.2 MR

AFAIR is an JRE version issue.

Problems with the "Pre-view" button in an OO ALV!

Hey all,
I have a problem with my OO ALV...when I press the "Pre-View" function button from my ALV I get a dump.
It says "Fieldsymbol not yet assigned".
I check my Fieldcatalog, my out_itab of the ALV....I do not know where is the problem.
When I use the debugger I get the place where the dump occures, but I do not know why it occurs....
When the ALV tries to convert the content of my ALV the dump occurs. The Fieldcatalog does not seemes to be the problem, because SAP convert the catalog correctly, but when he tries to convert the rows of my ALV he crashes...but only after the second row. The first row of the content he convert, but when he tries to convert the second row....bumm!!!
Does somebody has an idea? Or does somebody knows of a generelly problem with OO ALV's which could be the reason for my problem?

Problems with the running of my application

I have installed J2EE SDK 1.4 with successfull .
I writed a very basic application JSP , i make an archive WAR called hello .
I compile the application with successfull and i deploy also the application with successfull .
I have now just to run the application by writing the URL address :
http://localhost:8080/hello .
And there is at this time a big problem : a connexion window appears on the screen .
This windows called "Connexion to localhost" asks me to connect to localhost and i have to give a user login and a password . In this windows , i can see before these 2 fields (user and password) the name "xdb" .
I try to give my admin login "admin" and my password login , and it doesn't work .
I try to give the user login "localhost" and an empty string as password (like for easyPHP) , but it doesn't work too .
Which login and which password does i have to write ?
During the installation of J2EE , i have always give a login "admin" and a password of this login "my_password" .
Besides this login and this password , there are no login and no password .
I'm very disappointed , because i really want to work under J2EE .

it not simple to retrace the problem, but i would say, try with admin as user and without password. if it is not working, i think a new installation of the j2ee is requested.

First it's not the .acsm files that you want to convert. The .acsm files are just temporary purchase tokens to start the download and licensing of the real pdf or epub file. It's that file (either pdf or epub) that has all the content, however it is protected with ACS4 DRM and as such can only be viewed by ADE or by supported device such as the Sony Reader 505 or 700. I work with an Inventory module software and is responsible for software detection across several computers. Once an updated version comes up, I update our database with latest software details to get it detected if installed on any machines.
The problem tracking updates with Desktop Creative Cloud Software are;
1)We have to have it installed with the CC applications in-order to get the notification of the latest updates and have to check everyday.
2)Only relates to the latest updates, so in-between we may miss a prior update unknowingly.Hence, the remote machines having those updates may not get detected with the software version update which would create problem in reporting.
3)For all CC products, there is no base or previous updates available for installation if we miss one.
I went through the Adobe Products Update pages [Product updates] which holds good when it comes to Acrobat and Reader software which I follow to track down any newer updates but this is inconsistent when it comes to CC products like in After Effects CC, Dreamweaver CC etc...
So overall to be very specific, is there any one channel I can follow to get the notifications only for the updates on CC products and then may be I can rely on Desktop Creative Cloud for installation if not available anywhere like in product update pages of Adobe ?

Can I downgrade from Mountain Lion from a Macbook with Mountain Lion as the pre-installed OSx?

I had to get a new Macbook during my last semester due to my 13" Macbook Pro dying on me. My new 15" Macbook Pro came with Mountain Lion on it and I am not a huge fan of it. I am wanting to revert to Lion if that is possible for my Macbook. I do have a number of back ups of my 13" Macbook with Lion on it, but I tried it before using cmnd /r and it couldn't go back to my Lion back ups. I am not sure if I just did something wrong while I was trying to use my back up or if Macbooks with ML as the pre-installed OSx just can't go backwards.
Any help would be much appreciated

you can't revert/ downgrade diffrent OS version.the option only upgrade.
