Problem with "Title" and DW CS4

I have a problem with dreamweaver CS4. When I create a layout
in Fireworks CS4, and the amount DW not allow me to change the
title. The title in DW I can change but the Web is always "untitled
document".

Hi
I would really appreciate help with two problems...
1. I have changed the title on all my pages yet the title bar
in the browser still shows untitled document!
2. I have downloaded a photo gallery from the internet and
exchanged the images for my own, works perfectly off my own
computer but as soon as I put it in as a flash file in my page and
publish, none of the images are there and it has 'undefined' on the
bottom of the gallery

A url always helps but here are some pointers
1) Make sure you are not using a frameset.
2) Check the links to the images in the flash file because it
sound like
the link is somehow different between your machine and the
server.

Problem with bridge and Photoshop CS4

When in Bridge CS4, I want to open a JPEG photo in Photoshop, when double clicking It opens PAINT and not Camera Raw. I have the CS4 on a laptop and no problem there. I matched all the settings and still the desktop opens PAINT instead.

Problems with flv and dreamweaver cs4

out of flash cs3 I generated a flv
with adobe media player all is ok I could see the flv
but when I import the flv into dreamweaver cs4 I get the picture below that means there is no flv

A picture of a ... a ... video game? ... advert means there is no flv?
How about posting the URL to your actual page rather than what ever that directupload.net image was supposed to be? It will help us to help you.
Meanwhile, I will make a simple guess based upon many similar questions.
Did you remember to upload the Scripts folder?

Problems with titles and backgrounds PLEASE HELP

At the beginning of my movie, I have inserted a title (pixie dust) which prompts me to include a background. I have done so. However, when i play the movie in full screen sometimes the title doesn't even show up at other times the title shows but without the pixie dust feature. I have tried to rectify this using precision editor but it doesn't work. When I play the video in the project library the pixie dust feature shows up. Please help. What am I doing wrong?

This seemed to be a bug in iMovie v.8.0.6. I have the same problem independently of the font and the background but only at the beginning of the project.
To avoid this problem make a short transition before the title clip and the text will appear in fullscreen mode too.

No. If you don't have the album you originally used to create the galleries you can do so by dragging the photos from each gallery to a new, empty album. Then when you find the photo sharing site/option you have decided on you can easily upload each album to the site.
Another option is to obtain a hosting service and create iWeb photo pages for each album and future albums similar to this photo page in one of my demo sites: iPhoto Book as an iWeb Slideshow. Or you can use the iWeb album page and have an album for each iPhoto album on it like on this demo page: Page-7 .

Problem with JFrame and busy/wait Cursor

Hi -- I'm trying to set a JFrame's cursor to be the busy cursor,
for the duration of some operation (usually just a few seconds).
I can get it to work in some situations, but not others.
Timing does seem to be an issue.
There are thousands of posts on the BugParade, but
in general Sun indicates this is not a bug. I just need
a work-around.
I've written a test program below to demonstrate the problem.
I have the problem on Solaris, running with both J2SE 1.3 and 1.4.
I have not tested on Windows yet.
When you run the following code, three JFrames will be opened,
each with the same 5 buttons. The first "F1" listens to its own
buttons, and works fine. The other two (F2 and F3) listen
to each other's buttons.
The "BUSY" button simply sets the cursor on its listener
to the busy cursor. The "DONE" button sets it to the
default cursor. These work fine.
The "SLEEP" button sets the cursor, sleeps for 3 seconds,
and sets it back. This does not work.
The "INVOKE LATER" button does the same thing,
except is uses invokeLater to sleep and set the
cursor back. This also does not work.
The "DELAY" button sleeps for 3 seconds (giving you
time to move the mouse into the other (listerner's)
window, and then it behaves just like the "SLEEP"
button. This works.
Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks.

I've had the same problems with cursors and repaints in a swing application, and I was thinking of if I could use invokeLater, but I never got that far with it.
I still believe you would need a thread for the time consuming task, and that invokeLater is something you only need to use in a thread different from the event thread.

Problem with IE and pubblishedIntoWall

Could you repost the error-message that you see in Adobe Reader? The problem might be because of a known bug in Microsoft SharePoint server 2010. Certain required field types are missing in the German/French site templates which cause a SOAP request on the server to fail. A workaround is to add these field types to the library. You could add these fields manually or using a script. You could look for following field types which might be missing from the site template.

Problem with reinstalling Adobe Illustrator CS4 on new pc

Using a new PC with Windows 7. Upon reinstalling and inputting serial number, prompt appears..."We looked inthe default locations for qualifying products installed on this machine but none found. You may verify upgrade eligibility now by completing fields to the right." Choices given do not include Adobe Illustrator CS4. What next? I appreciate the help.

I have a disc in the same box that says CS3. I thought that was an older version. Should I try installing that disc first? It seems to have a different serial number. Thanks so much for your help. I appreciate it.

Problems with video card in CS4

I'm having what I think is video problems since I switched to CS4. No problems with CS3 before, or any other programs except CS4, now. Frequent apparent redraws leave remnants on screen, panels move back and forth, etc.
I have a Dell Precision 490 with 4gb ram and a nVidia Quadra fx 550 with 128 megs of ram. Open GL is enabled. I have loaded all the latest nVidia drivers.
If this sounds like a video card problem, can anyone recommend a good, not too expensive card? I don't play any games, just use the machine for PS. ID and Flash mostly.

Cross disolve problems with PP and AE

I am having a huge problem with one aspect of CS4 in transition. I know someone has experienced this and will help. I have CS4 production premium. Here is the order that my problem occurs 1. I import green screen videos in PP. 2. I put in the timeline, right click, select “replace with After Effects Composition” 3. I am now in AE and I use Keylight 1.2 for the green screening keying (it works great). Instantly, the effects show up in PP and the video name is now different in the time line. 4. I want to add a cross dissolve transition between videos and when I do, I get an error that says “insufficient media. This transition will contain repeated frames”. The cross dissolve now has different lines through it in the timeline. 5. I render it and it has some choppiness to it. . 6. I close out AE and save as directed. Attached is a screen shot of the error message and the timeline. Notice the different lines in the cross dissolve in the video two line (processed through AE) and the cross dissolve on the video 4 line which has slides and the transitions work just fine. Clearly something is wrong in the video transition. Help? thxssssssssssssss Barry Rhein

Is your project just green screen footage? If so, why not just select all your clips and replace them with an AE comp, instead of just individual clips? If you add cross dissolves in Premiere before doing this, your clips will be sent to AE with overlapping handles--cross dissolves are supposed to be preserved via opacity keyframes, but this doesn't seem to always work. Nevertheless, you can select all of those clips in the AE comp and go to Animation > Keyframe Assistant > Sequence Layers. In the dialog that appears, be sure Overlap is checked, set your duration to 1 second (or however long your dissolves were in PPro), and set Transition to "Dissolve Front Layer". Opacity keyframes will be added to each layer's outgoing handle to dissolve into the underlying layer, replicating the original dissolves. Now you can do your keying, and the changes will be updated in PPro.
The one issue with this process is that, when you use the "Replace with AE comp" command in PPro, your clips in your sequence are truly replaced; you won't have access to your original edit any more, so any timing tweaks would have to be done in AE. You can combat this in a couple of ways. One way is to do your edit in PPro, and then duplicate your sequence so you have a backup; do the "Replace" on just one of those sequences. Another way is to do the Replace, which will send all your clips to AE, but then immediately Undo it in PPro. Your comp will still be created in AE, but the dynamically linked version will disappear from PPro, leaving you with your original edit. You can then use the Dynamic Link import to bring your comp into PPro, preserving your edit AND creating the AE comp.
Alternatively, you can simply copy your sequence from your PPro project panel, go to AE, and paste into the AE project panel; your comp will be created, your assets will be imported, and then you just need to Dynamic Link the AE comp into PPro.
Alternatively yet again, you can import a PPro project or sequence into AE (just go to File > Import > Adobe Premiere Pro Project); an AE comp will be created and all assets will be imported and placed in the project and comp. Again, you'd have to DL the comp to PPro... or, you could do as Craig suggested and render out an AVI/MOV with an alpha channel, and import that back into PPro for final compositing. You could also import your background materials into AE, and do your compositing there, and then render out a final, non-alpha AVI. As you can tell, there are more than a few options!

Extreme Music - Problems with Driver and Installation

?After the my computer has given up it's life on the last friday, I bought a new one and wanted yesterday to install everything like OS, driver and so on.
I started the install of the driver(which is the version from the creative website , released in july 2009) for my soundcard, the X-FI Extreme Music and when the information was given, that the Windows drivers will be updated and it will take some minutes, something happend:
At my first try a bluescreen appered. You can imagine, that I was shocked to see a bluescreen on my new pc after an hour.
I run CCleaner to remove some rests of the "maybe installed" driver and started it again. There was no bluescreen, but the mouse freezes and the setup does nothing anymore. I can close it with may keyboard, but the driver wasn't installed.
After a new clean up with CCleaner I tried it again. I put out my cable of the mouse , so maybe this was the problem(ofc, WHY is there a problem with USB and PCI Cards ?). The installations works, no hang up or freezes. After a restart nothing happend. No sound. I looked at the hardware manager(do not know, whether it is the correct word, I'm german and have a german windows ) of windows and at audio, video and gamecontroller, there is a warning of not working driver.
I remember, that on my old system the driver was titled something like
X-FI Audio[800] or something like that.
But here it was named with?
X-FI Processor WDM
I thing the system is installing the wrong driver.
I looked at some forums , find the hint to change the PCI slot. I did it, but nothing changed.
So, here are some information of my system configuration, maybe someone can help.
Old system(where the soundcard works fine with no problems):
- Athlon X2 4200+(socket was the "old" 939)
- Asus A8N-E
- DDR 400 RAM, 2GB
- Windows XP Professional(32 Bit) with SP3
New System:
- Phenom II X4 80(quadcore)
- Gigabyte MA790XT-UD4P
- DDR3 333 RAM , 4GB
- same OS as used in the old configuration
Ofc all chipdriver were installed and seems to work fine.
The onboard soundchip is disabled too.

I tried once again to install the driver and everything is working ... until yet, but only the future will show me, whether it will work or not ^^

Problem with installing and running some applications or drivers

When installing and installing some items, towards the end of the installation I get this message:
/System/Library/Extensions/comcy_driver_USBDevice.kext
*was installed improperly and cannot be used. Please try reinstalling it or contact product's vendor for update*
The end result is that some things do not seem to work properly, such as my HP printer. Would anybody have any ideas on how to fix this problem?

I reinstalled microsoft office and, thus, outlook, and reinstalled mac OS X system and applications. While I managed to delete outlook contacts so that I can re-sync with my blackberry, the contacts at Mac Address Book were not deleted and still have over 340,000 entries. I do not mind deleting all contacts since I have back up, but I have not been able to delete them. Also, when I go at Address Book and try to delete or merge duplicated entries, the system takes forever and never ends because of such large amount of entries. Worse, when I do so I run out of RAM memory.
My Macbook pro is just 2 months old.
What should I do? Is there a way to delete my Mac Address Book without having the problem above?
