Problems with the CS6 Master Collection disk image (invalid checksum)

I have problems downloading the trial for CS6 Master Collection for MacOS X.
I've tried downloading using the Download Assistant, both as a privileged and an unprivileged user, and have also tried the direct download as both privileged and unprivileged. Each time I've waited until the download was complete before trying to install, but every time the disk image fails to open, complaining of an "invalid checksum".
I've tried mounting the disk image without validating the checksum, but while I can then run the installer, the installation fails due to lack of privileges – again, this is regardsless of user privileges. I've also tried deleting the preferences and cache-files for Download Assistant, but to no avail.
Can anyone confirm that the english version of the CS6 Master Collecion disk image is working and can be mounted without error on MacOS X 10.7? I have now downloaded and re-downloaded the disk image at least eight times, and while I have a fast Internet-connection, this is getting tedious.

I just downloaded the DMG from Adobe.com using the trial and it mounts fine. I was able to start the installation.
I did not get a checksum error or any other error.

Encounter Installation problem with trial Adobe Production Premium CS5

When installing the trial version of Adobe production premium CS5 it fails to Install Adobe premiere CS5 and AE. The remaining applications in the suite are all installed.
I have followed all the suggestions from Adobe's site, and finally contacted their Tech Support, who could not resolve the issue sofar.
I have run their AdobeSupportAdvisor and it displays:cpsid_83570: Conflicting processes running while installing - Creative Suite 5
I am running MAC OS 10.6.6 64 bit .

It took several attempts by the Adobe Technical support on an escalating level, including once a 6 hour telephone connection to have it resolved.
The last tech that finally resolved it took only two hours.
I already had Lightroom (ver 3.0, 64 bit) and Photoshop CS5(64 bit) individually installed with a legitimate license.
We had to clean out anything related to "Adobe", i.e. delete, uninstall, etc. Create another administrative account, then install the Production Suite(trial version) in Safe Mode.
The frustrating part was that every time I called back on the case, I had to answer the same questions regarding my operating system, like if I called in for the first time! I even had a slight argument with one Tech, who questioned the Graphics card. I purchased the IMAC just before Christmas (Snowleopard, 64 bit, 8 gigs of RAM, etc).
The developers at Adobe should make a better effort to make installations smoother. It was like a nightmare trying to install the software. I wanted to make sure that the software installed properly before I actually paid for it, and I nearly gave up on it after dealing with their tech support for a little over a week.
Hope that no one else has to go through the ordeal I went through.

As a final note, when I initially installed the software, all components of the Suite would install properly, except for Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Premiere Pro.For some reason, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro refused to be installed.
The last technician who resolved the installation issue(after cleaning anything related to Adobe), initially choose to install the Adobe Premiere Pro component of the suite by itself. Once Adobe Premiere Pro installed, the remaining components installed with no issues.

Problems with trial adobe photoshop elements 11

Can't trial photoshop elements be installed to any drive but C? it always wants me to choose C even though I don't have the room...when I change it to another...it says I don't have enough room in C although I never chose C in the first place..what gives?

Some components always will be on the system root drive, even if the main program can be installed elsewhere. There's no way around that and if your system hasn't enough room for that, well, then it's hopeless....

Disk 1 does not eject at the end of the installation process, when the installer ask for Disk 2

open your file explorer/finder>right click your disk drive>click eject.
if you don't have a cd eject option, use google find a free app that adds that functionality.

I have a problem with the installation/configuration of Creative Suite Design 5.

All is normal about the installation and the activation, but when I try to launch any aplication (Illustrartor, InDesign) this error appears: "Configuration Error. Error:5"

Which IMac is best for Adobe Master Collection?

I don't see a forum topic for the Adobe Master Collection, so sorry if I posted it here.
I just purchased the Master Collection. I would like to purchase an IMac that best supports this software without spending over $2,000.
I am not a technie, so I need help choosing a 24" model with correct graphics card-NVIDIA GT120,130 or ATI-HD4850??
I will be adding plug-ins and other software in addition to the Adobe software.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Creative Suites forum Anyway, not much activity there, so asking here is not at all wrong. Sébastien already has provided a comprehensive answer, but just to confirm - for any current Adobe product memory is more important than most other things. On an iMac, you should max out the possible 8GB (just be smart, buy your RAM cheaper from an external source, not from Apple). Processor considerations do not matter that much, as apparently they'll always be a dual core, so buy the one with the highest processor clock speed within your budget. Regarding the graphics, neither Adobe product is particularly demanding - they all use acceleration functions, but far from what you would need e.g. for games or 3D programs. Going with the cheapest model is probably okay. NVidia cards are more reliable with Adobe products, anyway. Also note, that while the name may not give it away, the 120 and 130 are two completely different beasts based on different chipsets, resulting in about 40% more performance on the 130.

I want to install 16 gb ram but I don't think I can change the lack of video card. I wanted this basic machine because it has fairly long battery life. I don't need or want retina at this time. My model is the mid 2012 model. I am running the adobe collection for mac, I want to run the windows versions. Is it possible? What is the most ram I could access using something like fusion 5, assuming I could get fusion 5 to work? would it refuse to run because of the intel chipset and lack of video card?
If I'm wrong and there is a way to add a video card to this model, could some version of fusion and windows 7 access more than 2 gb operating ram?
What cost would I be incurring, and would it be cheaper to buy a windows laptop with more ram than I could access via a virtual machine?
I want to work on a client's work in the windows versions of the creative suite, with occasional usage of after effects for windows, and to use some web plug-ins only available in windows versions, and to try some windows-only video and audio software.

No matter what apple says about wireless, there are decades of legacy work stored on optical discs all over the world, and I don't want to be unable to open something at a client's office because I don't have a dvd drive. Additionally, I have very large files I want to transfer via ethernet or firewire so that the transfer will take less time and be more secure than wifi. I resist apple's trend to make every machine a disposable toy that is viable only a year or so. I have read reviews that label the mbp it a poor value compared to the air. If all you need to do is text and communicate via wifi, many devices will sufice, and an air is certainly the most elegant. But what about the cost of large ssd's and protecting the drive against damage from shock? I want to be able to move this thing around and the small size is much safer inside my padded bag when I sit in narrow airplane seats, crowded trains and other congested spaces. I am much more likely to be able to borrow a large screen in a client's office ( with the use of one of the three adapters I had to buy) than to be able to borrow a dvd drive that has drivers for mac os 10.8.2. I suspect this may be the last generation of machines that have optical drives and ethernet, and that was why I purchased it so that I could continue to do work into the next few years. I am impressed by the retina display, but I need long battery life. And as beautiful as the retina display is, it is even more of a problem when trying to cross platform with the windows world. I wish I could infuence apple to do a trial product flow for a machine designed to work with 80% of the business world that uses windows. How spectacular that would be. With all their expertise and adept hardware design, to create a machine that cross platforms better than a windows machine itself works? Now that would be an accomplishment. Instead of 8 or 9 percent of the total computer sales, why not aim for a higher percentage? Smart devices will keep moving toward portable computers in power, anyway.

Fusion should work on your machine and if you put 16 GB of RAM in (see http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/memory/Apple_MacBook_MacBook_Pro/Upgrade/DDR3_160 0MHz_SDRAM), Fusion can access a good portion of that. Also, in a Virtual Machine, the guest OS is presented with Fusion's video card emulation, not what's in hardware on your Mac. Of course, finding Windows 7 now that Win 8 has been released could take some doing and the Win 8 Pro upgrade price is supposed to jump to $200 the end of the month. Add that to the price of Fusion and the extra RAM and you're beginning to get into the realm of low end real PC's.
As to cross platform, I assume you're aware of BootCamp (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1461).

That would seem to be the obvious solution. I have tried it but the reason I am asking is the blank fill in the password screen which is the result of this action.
1. open program.
2. License flash screen appears with sign in prompt.
3. Sign in with adobe creative cloud activated.
4. License entry required.
In a perfect world this would prompt an automated response which would read my adobe ID credentials and automatic sign in would occur. So this is my problem. I am stuck on this screen. So here are the options as i understand them. 1. Uninstall and start over. 2. Request support. 3. Search forums.

Where is the Apple problem? I have CS4 and CS5 running perfectly fine on my Macbook Pro. Installed 5 after Lion upgrade. Worth every cent. Adobe did have some catching up to do with Lion but with the CS5.5 update all runs fine. But not yours. So it is a problem with the Lion OS? You say you have been with Adobe since 2005. So you would be aware of all the other issues that Adobe had catching up with past Oss in Mac and Windows then. They get it right, but it is up to them. It is not up to Apple, nor Microsoft for that matter, to run around and check that every software developer in the world is running their business properly.
And what has politics got to do with anything. Some people just have to blame Software for their poor Hardware maintainence of failure of the same.

Software invariably gets the blame when it does not work as expected and your issue may in fact be a software bug.
However, reasons for software problems are many and varied including old or bad hardware, poorly configured systems or operating system issues such as permissions. All, some or none of those may apply to your computer.
Hard to tell without working through the troubleshooting steps systematically.

Problems with syncing Adobe Ideas with Adobe Creative Cloud

Dear Sir/Madam,
Since yesterday (22.04.2014) I have problems with syncing Adobe Ideas (in my iPad) with Adobe Creative Cloud.
Could you please help me with this issue?

I do not understand why there is no professional communication about the problem. I get the impression that Adobe doesn't know that many people use their App as advertised: As a quick professional sketching tool that syncs with Creative Cloud. Not to fix the problem means more people not trusting the cloud idea. I am actually a big fan of the CC, mostly because of regular updates. But the mobile apps seem to fall out of the normal update scheme. Are they not as important as the 'main software'?
When will the bug be fixed? Just to make clear: As there - up to now - is no other way to get the original idea files on the computer the adobe idea app is useless unless you fix the problem and/ or include the possibility to sync files via USB.
Meanwhile my Workaround:
You need Phoneview or another software that shows the files on your mobile device.
Open it - choose "Apps" - click on "Show all Apps" - click on "Adobe Ideas"
Than go to:
Library/Private Documents/documents/data/files/
there you find folders with cryptic names
Download one of the folders
Open the Folder
select all files in the folder and zip them
Change the extension from .zip to .idea
and voila
you can open it with Adobe Illustrator!
A long way, but for now the only solution to get the editable vector file on your computer.
