Problem with Webservice - XI - JDBC scenario

Hi Experts,
When I have tried to test the Webservice -> XI -> JDBC scenario with the mention address, I am getting the below error.

Hi,
As per Bhavesh & Krishna's suggestion, I have changed the JDBC Data type. Now I could able to see the SXMB_MONI error too.

I am working on webservice - XI - JDBC Synchronous scenario. I have done with SLD, IR, ID, WSDL file creation.
When I tried to test the scenario thro' Webservice Studio, I am getting the following error. This error comes, once I give the request value.

Problem with SOAP to JDBC scenario. Please help!

Hi Experts,
I have configured a simple SOAP to JDBC scenario where the input data from webservice call is sent to JDBC for inserting into MSSQL database.
The problem is that even though I have setup the QOS in SOAP channel as EO but still in SXMB_MONI I can see the message getting processed as Synchrous but getting interface mapping not found error. But the data is getting inserted in the database.
Why is this not getting processed asynchrously? Please advice me if I am missing anything?

Need help in webservice to JDBC scenario

Hi All,
My scenario is a synchronous webservice to JDBC scenario. The SOAP request contains two fields one is ID & the other field is Date which is an optional field. I need to perform a SELECT statement on JDBC based on ID & Date. SOAP request will always contain ID field & Date may or maynot be there in the request. If Date present then search should be based on ID & Date , if Date not present search should be based on ID only. How to achieve this with the help of standard JDBC reciever structure or is there any other way to achieve this?

You can create your target structure as shown below and check the existence of DATE field in the source(using standard function "Exists" ) and then only create the target DATE node.

Two way Asynchronous business process for Webservice to JDBC scenario

Hi Experts,
For the webservice to JDBC scenario, I have to use two way Asynchronous business process. Is it possible?
Scenario : Webservice to JDBC -> Async Call
JDBC to Webservice -> Async Call
I have already done with two way Synchronous. Here I would like to know about only Async call. Please provide your suggestions.
Is it recommended to use Async call when we have Synchronous option?
For the above requirement I have to create two separate services and in BPM, I have to call one by one..Is it correct?

yes it is possible.
In receiver channel JDBC we have a special parameter "Exactly Once Handling " which is to assure async incoming data to be written only once to avoid redundancy.
Although Synchronous is "Best Effort" but it is considered to be "Worst Case". We can use Sync but try to use Async as much as possible to ensure system performance.
Ques : For the above requirement I have to create two separate services and in BPM, I have to call one by one..Is it correct?
yup you have to create two services and you are following right path but this scenario should be in two steps seperately.

this will happend if u use maintain order at runtime at interface determination.
just uncheck this option if u dont neet EOIO.
if you are getting the problem if u r going for EO then the problem might be using same JDBC channel for all interfaces.
if each interface is expected with a high load then it better to go for dedicated channels for interfaces.
like INTERFACE A should use JDBC A channel and INTERFACE B should use JDBC B channel.

If you are having a problem with a JDBC interface (lets consider this to be a communication channel) then the communication is stopped (via that channel) (only in the case of EOIO).

When I call my function how makes the request (get_frob), it goes back to the main program and make a print! After that my request starts!
I want that the request finished first and then make a print!
I need threats for this???and how does it work?

thank you for your answer. It was my mistake, I discribe the problem very bad.
When i call the function get_frob(). Netbeans goes in the function and run through the end but nothing happened

After the output my programm go back to the function get_frob() and then make the request and go back to the if clausel. Now everything ist correct. But why does my programm need 2 runs ????thats not correct!!

Problem with XML SQL JDBC adapter

I have quite strange problem with my PI.
Whole scenario is SOAP -> JDBC, asynchronous. Everything works fine on DEV server. After transporting objects (using CTS) to QA env I'm getting this error:
JDBC Message processing failed, due to Error processing request in sax parser:
No 'action' attribute found in XML document
(attribute "action" missing or wrong XML structure)
But document seems to be correct. I've compared it to DEV server documents - they are identical. What could be wrong??

Hi,
i was also facing the same error few days back in a JDBC -RFC-JDBC Synchronous scenario. In that scenario, i was using 2 modules in JDBC sender module tab. It was working fine. later i change polling interval and then i started getting same error. it happened coz of sequence of Module got changed somehow.
So please check in Receiver JDBC adapter and SOAP sender adapter CC if anything is changed. If this scenario is working in DEV as it is then it should work after transport.

Problem in Idoc to JDBC scenario(uses BPM)

Hi
I have a IDoc to JDBC scenario which also uses BPM.
The JDBC adapter has to execute a Stored procedure on Sybase database.
I work on XI3.0 SP14.
When I am sending IDoc to XI it is failing in CALL adapter step.
The error message is "Unable to convert sender service TruckLiftAccountUpdate to an ALE logical system".
However this scenario is working in Production with same settings.But it is not working in Quality and it is giving the above error.
Can any one help me in this.

Here the Idoc is coming to BPM and BPM cant able to execute the stored procedure.and we are getting the error from BPM to target system.
Here error is unable to convert the sender service(from BPM service) to ALE
logical system.
same settings are there in Production but it is not working in QA.

I Have done the below configuration for the receiver JDBC adapter

Connection : jdbc:odbc:Driver={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)};DBQ=D:\usr\sap\PRD\SYS\global\Receive\Student.mdb
tried to provide the user id & password as well as the password and also tried with with keep them blank. My Ms access 2007 database table is in the application server itself.

Hi Santosh,
If also could be possible that, you have not added proper JDBC dirver and hence i think you are getting following error:
Data source name not found and no default driver specified'
So first add the JDBC driver( .jar) to the SAP PI JDBC library and redeploy the .sda file and then retest your scenario. Here is a link to PDF which explain how to add external drivers to use new DB drivers in the JDBC adapter.

Could not find the main class - Problem with Webservice-Access

Hello Everybody,
I'm having serious Problems with accessing a WebService (Tomcat-Axis) per executable jar-File.
I constructed a simple GUI with 3 Textboxes 1 Button and 1 Resultbox.
I use eclipse so it was no Problem to simple generate the Backgroundclient by Processing the .wsdl-File of the WS.
Now I do this:
Head_tServiceLocator serviceLocator = new Head_tServiceLocator();
Head_t service = serviceLocator.getRPCCall();
RPCCallSoapBindingStub Head_t = (RPCCallSoapBindingStub) service;and use the Webservice like an Object.
All this works very well.
Now the Problem:
Head_t service = serviceLocator.getRPCCall();this Line has to throw a ServiceException.
If i add a try-catch Block to Process the Message JAVA tells me after i exported to JAR (with Manifest-stuff and so on) and double Click on the JAR the following :
Could not find the main Class - Program will exit.
And if i add a throws Declaration to the Methodheader it tells me:
Fatal Exception Occured - Program will exit
But if i Comment out that Line at least the GUI is being displayed (so it DOES find the main-Class). But then of course the Webservice won't be accessed.
All the JARs needed (axis.jar, commons-discovery.jar and so on) are in the same Directory as the Webservice-Client.jar
Please Help me.

I am not done any typing mistake while creating the jar file i already followed the suggestion that you have mentioned but still the same error .
This is my MANIFEST.MF file created under META-INF folder
Manifest-Version: 1.0
Class-Path: qtjambi-4.4.3_01.jar qtjambi-win32-msvc2005-4.4.3_01.jar
Created-By: 1.5.0 (Sun Microsystems Inc.)
Main-Class: Ui_MainWindow
When i extracted the app.jar following this i got
1. META-INF folder inside that MAINFEST.MF file the contents i have already placed above
2. qtjambi-4.4.3_01.jar
3. qtjambi-win32-msvc2005-4.4.3_01.jar
4. Ui_MainWindow.class
Please tell me whats wrong in that i can also give you the app.jar file please let me know the email id ..
