Problem With Write-On Effect

Hi. Help.
I want to use the Write-On effect to animation some script text.
I use the Pen Tool to draw the mask. I Copy the Mask Path, apply the Write On Effect, then I Paste the Mask Path to the Write On's Brusk Position.
The Brush Position keeps winding up to the left of the original path, and a little upwards. The Brush Position is off the Comp, and it seems to animate correctl, just in the wrong place.
I have tried this more than once. What am I doing wrong?
(This is CS3, by the way.)

There are several ways.
One, first paste the mask in a solid which is comp size, and free transform the mask (not the transform properties for tha layer) until it has the same size and location as the original, then copy the mask path and paste into Write-on's Brush Position. Of course, make sure the solid you're using for Write-On is comp size (Set Write-On's Paint Syle menu as "On transparent", so that it composites over layers below).

Problem with the Blind effect.

Hi, i have a problem with the Blind effect.
I added multiple Image bars vertically together. With a click on a bar, some text slides out. With another click on the bar you can slide the text back in. So far so good.
Now, always when i click to open or close a window, the site jumps to a certain point, but i can't exactly figure out where it's jumping to.
Is there an order to fix the position of the bars, so that they don't move, even if I open or close the bars?
The problem does not appear when im at the bottom of the website.

I figured out the problem I was having with my zoom effect.
It worked when I added a specific number for height and width.
Before I had a percent. Try adding a height and width number, it
worked for me.

Problem with DeNoiser audio effect

I hava a problem with DeNoiser audio effect. When I apply it to a clip, it starts to work after a few seconds: it produces noisy audio on the beginning of each clip, but clean at the end. It appears both when I watch playback in Premiere (with MPE GPU acceleration enabled on GTX 460), and in final rendered movie.
How can I resolve this problem? Or maybe Premiere has got other effects that function similar to DeNoiser and work fine?
I'm using Premiere Pro CS6 Trial (updated version 6.0.1, I have also updated Media Encoder to version 6.0.1). I work with footage from Canon 600D DSLR (1080p24, mov, H.264, PCM audio). My operating system is Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (with SP1, problem appears also on Windows without SP). I have no third-party plugins instaled.

How can I resolve this problem?
Don't use that effect. Instead do this kind of thing in Audition.

Problem with premiere pro effects controls

I have a problem using keys with the opacity effect in the effects control panel; the following pictures should I think make my problem clearer to understand:
The image above shows that the opacity control of the correction gopro clip is at 100% which unless I've drunk too much champagne, is in full view on the screen!
I want to make a transition effect showing the raft appearing in the window of the following picture which is an Indian Granary above the Colorado river.
On my clip of the Granary I zoomed up to the window as to give the impression I get into the granary itself; When I arrive at this moment I begin, with key frames to have
the granary interior pass from 100% opacity to 0% at the end of the granary clip. Unless again champagne is very bad for my health and vision, I should see then the river
and the raft! Well I don't and that gives me nightmares! What is wrong? I add that to have a smooth and regular zoom I have used time remapping on the granary clip.
The granary clip is the one just above the correction gopro clip and overlapping it by the duration of the dissolve shown selected in the picture below(I could of course use a dissolve here, but I want to economize on a supplementary effect)
below is the view with the screen and the opacity of the granary clip at 25%. Normally the clip of the raft should be quite visible then! the red-orange on the right of the screen is the interior wall of the granary!

Stacking in Adobe products is prototypically the top being the final thing you "see". If you have two clips, one atop the other, you will normally see the top clip & nothing from the bottom clip ... unless the top-most clip is given some transparency by say bringing its opacity setting down.
Think of it as the bottom layer "feeds" up to the next higher layer and so on. What comes out at the top is what you will see as the final product.
Much of my work has been short interviews cut with b-roll & stills. The basic interview sits on V1, and I use V2 and only occasionally V3 for the b-roll & stills that I'll cut to for variety, information, or simply interest retention during the running of essentially the audio from V1. This works nice, as I can expand or trim the b-stuff as it seems right while playing back. Then if I want to put in a transition, as part of polishing, I can either trim out the V1 section and move the V2 clip "down" before adding transitions or do a razor on V1 on both ends and add it to the end of the clips. Typically I cut out the section.
The lesson is ... putting anything on a higher track replaces the viewable video of anything under it. Unless you reduce the upper tracks opacity.

Problem with Adobe After Effects CS6 on Windows 8.1 PRO

Hi Adobe Systems guys, I would like to know when the error will have the solution presented Adobe After Effects CS6 (Latinoamerican Spanish Version) running Windows 8.1 PRO, and throwing the following error.
I've tried the latest available update 11.0.3 but does not correct the problem. I wonder when will be ready the solution because with Illustrator CS6 also was the same but with the solution described in this page, http://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/kb/illustrator-does-not-start-windows-81.html was solved perfectly.
I appreciate prompt as we need urgent help to use the software in its Spanish version as was originally purchased. thanks

That such a friend, for I tell you that none of their solutions is an option for me because:
• Wait a couple of months with no after effects in the hope That a patch will come ... someday
R:/ The problem is not mine, is problem of Abode and therefore investing heavily in the creative suite CS6 and for that to be an option.
It's not fair to have to beg for a solution.
• Upgrade to CC and enjoy all the latest features
R:/ It is not possible , because we will not spend more money than they already invested in Suite CS6
• Use After Effects CS6 in English
R:/ It is not possible as the staff in charge of managing this program if it is not handled in English and therefore bought the suite in Spanish .
• Roll your computer back to Windows 8 instead of 8.1
R:/ It is not possible as it is known all Windows 8.0 failures we have put in 8.1 PRO .
I do not understand is that if Adobe Illustrator had the same problem and it was fixed within a couple of days getting the patch , why not do the same with After Effects CS6 in Spanish . All users of this suite CS6 and buyers deserve respect and prompt solution to the problems that are the fault of Adobe.

Problem with the zoom effect

I have five images in a row and I have added a zoom effect to
the rollover and rollout effects. What I have noticed is that the
image only zooms out when I bring the mouse out from the bottom of
the image. If I try to bring the mouse from left to right across
the images the first image zooms in but not out, and this happens
for all five images. Can anyone identify what I am doing wrong?

I figured out the problem I was having with my zoom effect.
It worked when I added a specific number for height and width.
Before I had a percent. Try adding a height and width number, it
worked for me.

Problem with tilt shift effect

I have the latest version of Elements 12 and have just started to experiment with the Tilt-Shift Guided Effect. The problem I'm having is that when I try to change the area of focus, nothing much seems to change in the picture. Sometimes it seems like the original in-focus area stays in place and I can make small changes elsewhere in the picture.
I was wondering if anyone else was having a problem with Tilt-Shift?

I think I verified what I was seeing in Guided Mode by going to Expert Mode after trying to alter the focus area. In expert mode I found a mask for the blur layer - and what I saw were 2 gradients rather than just one. One of the gradients in the mask was where Elements put the default in-focus area, and the second gradient in the mask was where I tried to move the in-focus area to. I was expecting to find one gradient on the mask, but instead there were two. Are others observing this same behavior? Thanks.

IMovies problem with Ken Burns effect.

When I use Ken Burns effect in IMovies, the bricks of a house, the line of a shirt, ... are kind of vibrating. In Aperture 3, it is ok. Is that a known problem with IMovies ?

Funny I'm using iMovie 11 now and some things I liked better in 6, but you bring to mind something that bugged me (though people would ask - "How did you get that to happen?")

Problem with GRID NAVIGATION EFFECTS WITH JQUERY

Hi All,
Im having problem with this image gallery with navigation (please see link below to see running demo). I am trying to use the 'Row move' style but am having problems getting the function to work. I have the images and everything set up fine but the actual function/navigation isn't working. I have downloaded all the relevant files to my computer but nothing happens when i click on the arrows. Also all of the 20 images are showing instead of just the 2 rows of 3? There should be 2 rows of 3 iamages showing then when the arrows are clicked the next two rows are shown and so on.

Data format problem with Write to Spreedsheet File

I have a problem with the data format with Write to spredsheet file.
I have an N*3 array, where the 3 elements in each row should has different length. When I used Write to spreedsheet file,
it can only save the three data in one format. How can I save them in the format of "%0.8f %0.3f %0.2f"?

another solution may be to convert column-wise using "number to fractional string", then interleaving resulting arrays and again using "array to spreadsheet string" (with "space" as separator).

I am having problems with my after effects. It says that quicktime needs to be installed but it is already installed. help

i have tried everything but its not working!!! @

1. Download the .dmg file and save it to a folder on your computer.
2. Quit After Effects CS6 if it is running.
3. Double-click the .dmg file to open it, and then double-click the AdobePatchInstaller.app file to launch the patcher.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions. There might be a slight delay before the update progress meter starts moving.

Problems with write latency

Hi to all storage gurus,
One of our disk systems (HP EVA8000) has been quite busy lately. HP has
spent days analyzing the situation and the result of the analysis was
that the disk system is ok but there are occasionally up to 2000 ms
write latencies. According to them this is not out of ordinary and
operating systems should be able to handle the situation.
The problem is that Netware seems not always to be able to handle such
write latencies and the clustered services may go to comatose when the
write latency is so high. This does not happen on every such occasion,
but too often anyways. Netware is the only operating system which has
any problems with our EVA8000. In this particular EVA we we have roughly
200 hosts, out of which about 10% are Netware. Thus is seems rather
clear that something is wrong with our Netware setup or Netware itself,
we just dont have any clues what.
All servers have NW6.5 SP8, and HP supported Qlogic HBA's with latest HP
supported bios and drivers.
In our Startup.ncf we have:

Thanks for your insightful answer. We are using execution throttle 16 on
almost all hosts. However HP suggested to increase the execution
throttle on Netware hosts to 64, since their IO to disk system is very
small and thus increasing the value would not cause problems to other
hosts. Increasing the execution throttle did not solve our problems.
What value are you using for execution throttle?

Problems with write to measurement

My project group has some problems with the write to measurement VI.
Firstly, for each of the SOC/Voltage...each file only has one value, how to make all value inside one file?
Secondly,How to make all the different parameters, such as SOC1, SOC2, Voltage1, Voltage2, appear in one excel file for easier reference?

Look at your settings for the Write to Measurement File. You are telling it to save to one file, and then use next available filename. Try append to file.
Also, use Merge Signals to combine the 4 and write to a single Write to Measurement File. Right now you have 4 identical ones with the same file name. They are stepping all over each other.
When using the Write to Measurment File, try opening up the help file and reading it o understand what each setting does.

Problems with playback/buffering effecting downloads

Problem seems to be the videos on sites like YouTube where the video buffers as it's playing, then it keeps stopping where the player stops and I have to manually move the video position back a bit before it will continue to buffer. And it seems to be a problem with the video downloaders like Freemake and Realplayer where because of this, during the video downloads, the download will quit and not finish. How can I fix this?

Try AntVideoDownloader (for Firefox - it doesn't work with IE) It downloads MUCH FASTER than anything else I've used, and you can keep watching while you download.

Problems with write to measurement file

My VI doesn't seem to write my signal properly when writing is enables.. however, if i change the "Write to measurement file" Express VI to a Write to Spreadsheet function, the signal is written correctly. From what I understand in previous discussions, there is a bug associated with enabling a write to measurement file, so is there a way to enable write to spreadsheet instead of using the express VI or is there a way I can bypass this bug?

This is my second program ever written, first in matlab, so I am very new to the field. So why I choose one way over another I have no reasoning, all I know is that it works. I am collecting electromyography analog signals, with a range of +/-5V.. the "bad" writing with write to meas file is that I am getting a flat signal (range between -.01 to +0.01, give or take).. where when written with write to spreadsheet, the signal has proper voltage range and normal frquency and amplitude characteristics seen in EMGs.
I tried using a case structure for the write to spreadsheet, however it only writes the buffer size during continuous sampling. I need it to write the entire time the boolean (enable button) is true, also the enable button is operated as switch when pressed.
