Problem with xvid videos with two audio streams

recently I purchased a Creative Zen X-FI2, it is working perfectly, but I only have one problem, I have some videos xvid with two audio streams (mpga), on VLC I can select either of the two audio streams but I haven't found if I can select the audio stream on the Zen player.
Does anyone knows how to select among different audio streams on a video?

The X-Fi2 doesn't have such an option.
If you still want to be able to watch the video with the second audio stream, I think the only possibility is to re-encode it using the second audiostream (or disable the first).

Problem watching Youtube video with Safari 5.1.10

I'm running Safari 5.1.10 under Snow Leopard 10.6.8 but cannot watch anymore videos with Youtube. Does anyone has an idea ?

Thanks for your support but I already tried those options without success. I reinstalled completely Safari 5.1.10 but problem remains.
In fact it seems that clicking action to authorise cookies is inhibited (no effect) therefore videos as thumbtails do not appear (blank), however if I click on a video tittle then it starts to play normally. Really really weird, I don't if Google did some upgrade with Youtube therefore Safari 5.1.10 is obsolete ...
As an alternative I will use Google Chrome but it's a pitty.

Try getting a dif. kind of converter. It didnt work for me either. I tried quite a few, until I came across Xilsoft Video Converter. Absolutely free.

X300 with Distorted Video With USB Port Replicator

I have 2 X300s using the enhanced port replicators. The video on these two machines were fine for the last 2 months until last week. The video is distorted while connected to the VGA port on the replicator, but fine when connected to the onboard video. I replaced the port replicators and that seem to resolve the issue for day but the distorted video came back. Has anyone encountered this and is there fix? Both machines are on XP.

We tried today another T440 laptop with 64bit OS and as mentioned by you, we figured out that the conflict is happening between Intel Graphics 4400 driver with USB replicator.
When I done an uninstallation of the updated Intel Graphics and the USB replicator works fine.
As the laptop will be provided to HOD, so we will be going for a purchase of a replicator with good compatibility with 64 OS and intel video card.

Poor quality image with doing videos with photos/images HELP!

I bought Adobe Premiere Element to make videos with pictures. When I do the video, the quality of my photos is good. When I save the video on my computer or I download it on youtube (example) the quality of my photos is extremely poor. Why? Does anyone can help me? Thank you!

What Project Preset did you choose at New Project? In the case of Video, composed of Still Images ONLY, you would set that to your desired delivery specs. Not so, if you are also using Video. I tried several types of parameters. Some parameters give poor quality when I upload it to Youtube (for example) and others in the design of video and upload to YouTube. So which settings should I use for photos only ?
This sounds like you are talking about the Export/Share settings for output to YouTube.
What I was asking is what did you start off with, when you were at New Project?
If you are doing an SD Project, you will have either 720 x 480 (NTSC), or 720 x 576 (PAL) pixels in the Project's Frame Size. If that is what you want, then I would Scale your camera original Stills to 640 x 480 (for NTSC), as you have Square Pixels, and the Project will have either 0.9 for NTSC Standard, or 1.21 for NTSC Widescreen).
PrE can Scale the Still Images, but the Scaling algorithms in Photoshop are much better, and offer more control.
Now, if you wish to do an HD Project, just choose that as your Preset, and then use the Images in about their original size. Note, there will be some black borders, as the screen-caps most likely have a different Aspect Ratio, than a Video Project, which for HD will be 16:9. Especially with screen-caps, that are pretty low resolution to begin with, I would NOT do any Scaling, and would live with the letterboxing, or pillar boxing, rather than Scale and effectively Crop.
Also, when Scaling in Photoshop, I do not Save_As JPEG, as it introduces compression, but only as either PSD (Photoshop's native format), or PNG.

You might use an alternative approach: Run exec task and use a external tool to do the encoding.
You can for example use "The Swiss army knive of Sound" :) SoX: http://sox.sourceforge.net/
I think from a performance point of view or to handle large files it would be even recommended in using such tools rather then encoding inside your application ... that might be different if you need to do the encoding in real-time ...

4 video and 2 audio streams with AWS

Good time 4all! I've try to solve next task.
There are 4 IP-cameras in my local network, for example 192.168.1.40-192.168.1.44. So, task is to make broadcast streaming video from all of this cameras and sound from couple of those. The main question is next: HOW_TO_DO_THIS? ))) How redirect streams from local IP-s to FMS in Amazon Web Service, for getting four unique URL-s for each camera?

I would use a combination of client side and server side scripts. you could kinda do this like dns assign each ip address to a stream namd and then direct FMS to use that name as a stream name. or you cold just make sure you sanatize the ip address to a string datatype and use the resulting string as the FMS stream id.

Problems with preview video with BM ultrastudio mini monitor and AE CC 2014

We don´t have video preview option for BM ultrastudio mini monitor with AE CC 2014.
Anybody knows a solution for this? We have installed 10.1 drivers version of BM.

Thanks for posting the screenshot. This shows that After Effects does not see the Mercury Transmit plug-in for Blackmagic. You should verify whether the plug-in is present:
os drive/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/7.0/MediaCore/
The file will be named DeckLinkTransmit.bundle, or something similar.
If the file is present, try uninstalling and reinstalling the (latest version of) Blackmagic drivers.
If After Effects still does not recognize the Blackmagic Mercury Transmit plug-in, open Premiere Pro CC 2014 and check Preferences > Playback, and whether or not video preview works there.

Troubles with MP4 Video with iTouch V2 & iTunes V8

I'm experiencing some issues since i've upgraded my iTouch 32G to OS V2 and iTunes to V8
I can't synchronize my own mp4 video anymore.
I Can view them with iTunes on my computer
But there are not listed on my itouch... There are invisble
Did somebody has encoutered something like that ?

Not ALL MP4 can play on the iPhone (or, for that matter, any phone). MP4 supports a wide variety of resolutions and bitrates that are simply outside the capacity of the device to play back (and for that matter, you can use some MP4 features that don't apply to phone playback).
Anyway, the simple thing to do in iTunes is to select the video and then go to the Advanced menu and select "Make iPad / iPhone version" (or something like that). Then, sync.
Sepcifically, the iPhone 4 supports:
H.264 video up to 720p, 30 frames per second, Main Profile level 3.1 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; MPEG-4 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps per channel, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; Motion JPEG (M-JPEG) up to 35 Mbps, 1280 by 720 pixels, 30 frames per second, audio in ulaw, PCM stereo audio in .avi file format

MSI MegaPC 651 and two audio streams at the same time

Running Showshifter Time Shifting playback through 5.1 SPDIF, I get the sound of the live stream and the playback stream at the same time, any ideas on how to fix this?

I need HELP with exporting videos with PIP from Premiere Elements 11 to YouTube please?

When I am editing and rendering videos that have picture-in-picture using Premiere Elements 11, the videos (once they've been uploaded to YouTube) have these thick black margins above and below the picture-in-picture images/videos. These margins are not visible when the videos are viewed using Premiere Elements but then they appear when the video is on YouTube. How can I prevent this? Is this a format issue? Thanks.

Can you tell us exactly how you created your PiP, please?
Knowing the specs. of both your background Video (and your Project Settings), plus the specs. of the Video used in the PiP, will likely be useful.
Also, seeing a screen-cap of your Timeline, at the point of the PiP, might be useful too.

Beginner question: Two audio tracks become one - how to undo?

I know this surely is a beginners' problem, i hope for a quick reply anyway. I've imported material I had before logged with AVID Liquid, into Premiere CS4. In order to get video and audio together I had to put video and audio in a new sequence by hand. I then loaded this seqeunce into the source monitor to be able to cut my material (one video track, two audio tracks (one from a directional mic, which I don't always want)) from there. But when I paste a clip in my editing sequence I only get video plus ONE audio track in the stereo track. But I need both audio tracks because sometimes I'm going to delete one of them. So my question: How do I get video and BOTH audio tracks from one sequence to the other?

To do what you want, you won't be able to work with the media as a single clip. You'd have to go into the sequence with the video and two audio tracks, and pick out what you want from there instead of the Source monitor. Make your cuts, laso the clips you're using, then do a Cut/Paste from the main sequence into the edit sequence. Make sense?

Can I insert an extra audio stream into the live stream?

I have a project where I need to set up a broadcast (from
pre-recorded files) so people can 'tune in' at a certain time to
watch a show. Some of these shows should have a soundtrack, can I
use SSAS to overlay an extra audio stream? So I would send one
video and two audio streams out to the client as one stream.
Alternatively, can I use SSAS to replace the audio, so
effectively demux the original audio off and send out a different
audio stream in its place.

Unfortunately, no... you can't do either of the things you
listed. You would need to use separate streams for the audio and
video, but that would introduce potential for sync issues (in fact,
I can pretty much guarantee that you'd have sync problems).
I suppose that a really hackish fix would be to use a stereo
audio track and use the left and right channels for your two audio
sources. You could then use the rightToRight, leftToRight,
leftToLeft, and rightToLeft properties of the sound transform
object to handle playback (haven't tried that myself, but I suspect
it would work)

Google Video Player No Audio With Audigy4 or Audi

After downloading (free) Google Video's?to my hard dri've I have watched them many times now and listened to them problem free with on board audio. However; I have now installed Audigy4 and Audigy2 in seperate computers and?both now have NO audio while attempting to use the Google Video Player. Yes, the volume is turned all the way up on the Google player and Yes? I have checked all audio levels on the Surround Mixer and nothing is MUTED.Please, can someone help as I use the Google Video Player daily. One last note is that I had a brief message only one time stating that the audio stream was NOT recognized!!! All my other audio needs, MP3, Wave, DVD Player, CDA are all working (audio) just fine. Thank You taranaki and a very Special Thank You to The Google Team?I contacted Creative Labs Tech Support and they promptly stated, "We do NOT support the Google Video Player's audio stream (GVI) and offer NO assistance accordingly"...WoW, and NOT cool at all. Plan #2?I contacted Google and within one day, yes one day, Google got back to me and said they would be glad to help resolve this issue and had The Google Team get an Audigy4 sound card. I was again contacted by The Google Team with the fix (TURN OFF EVERTYHING IN EAX). Problem solved and no help from Creative Labs Tech Support either!!! I was very disappointed as I am PRO Creative Labs and have (7) of their sound cards. Lastly, Thank You again taranaki , Creative Forums, and The Google Team for all your help.
