Problem Writing to DB

Question

I have an applet that access a servlet and fetches information
via a vector. The applet also sends the information via vector
back to the Servlet. But the servlet fails to write into the
database.

Based on
"<CFSET FileName = DateString & '_P03.CSV'>
<CFSET FileTitle = #DateFormat(Now(), "MMM D, YYYY")#
& ' 3-day report'>
They are strings, and common sense also suggests their
respective column names, FileName and FileTitle are of {Text} data
type e.g. Varchar or Nvarchar, so, change the query from
" INSERT INTO Files (FilePath, FileName, FileTitle,
UploadTime)
VALUES ('03_Day', #FileName#, #FileTitle#,
#DateFormat(Now())#)
to
INSERT INTO Files (FilePath, FileName, FileTitle,
UploadTime)
VALUES ('03_Day', '#FileName#', '#FileTitle#',
#DateFormat(Now())#)
-- adding single quotes for each value
