Problem XI -- R/3 System
Hi,
when I'm sending an idoc-message from XI to R/3, in the transaction "sxmb_moni" all seemed to work fine, but no idoc-message is receiving in the R/3-System.
The RFC-Destination works fine and also the port and the local system is created.
Can anybody help me please?
Thanks.
Regards
Stefan
Hi Stefan,
I think the RFC destination is missing some authorizations.
Anyway cross check the following:-
Check Transactions SMQ1 and SMQ2.
Check your RFC destination to R/3 from SM59.
Take a look at Message Monitoring at Runtime Workbench.
If nothing works out, delete the user and create it again with the same rights and password. This should solve your problem.
Regards.

Hi All
We are creating POs from interface program "Import Standard Purchase Order Program". Only for few of the POs, we are encountering the error 'Warning: An error occurred during tax calculation
. Please correct the problem or contact your system administrator.'
This error is happening for few PO's, other POs with same vendor, ship to and bill to location created successfully by the program
Any inputs on how to resolve this error is greatly appreciated.

'A problem with the cooling system' error message on Satellite A660
Hi all,
Hope I can get some help here. I've had about 5 HP laptops after all of them had problems and faults. I got sick of them and therefore got a refund and bought a high spec A660-1FH.
The A660 has been a great laptop for two days until yesterday when I started getting a warning message saying 'A problem with the cooling system has been detected. Please turn off the computer immediately, and return it for service'.
The cpu fan works fine as you can here it spinning and the temperature of the i5-460m processor is around 40 degrees for both cores - which seems normal to me. I've noted that it happens only when running on battery and if you switch from eco utility to power saver mode. Its fine when running on the 'balanced' power setting. The fan is louder before when this message appears.
As its under 28 days my retailer swapped it for a brand new one straight away. Got the new one home, and the same message appears again. Has anyone else experienced this. As two laptops have had this, I'm wondering if this is normal for the A660 series laptop or if there is really a hardware issue?!
I have tried to upgrade eco utility and the bios of the laptop but both are the latest versions. Can anyone help or share if they experience a similar issue with their laptop?
ThanksIn front of me I have Satellite A660-13Q (PSAW3E) and I have it about 6 weeks now. It runs almost 10 hours daily and until now I didnt notice such message or anything else that can be suspect for hardware functionality.
I really dont know why this happen on your notebook and dont think there is anything you can do about it.
I would exchange it again. What you can also try is to contact nearest Toshiba service. Make a call, explain the situation and ask if they can help you with this. -
A problem with the cooling system has been detected
I bought a new computer not to long ago, I've had it for almost a month now. It runs fine, and I've had no problems until not too long ago. I was playing a game, and I got a random error message: "A problem with the cooling system has been detected. Please turn off the computer immdiately, and return it for service." I don't understand how or why this came up, and I don't have any money to return it for any type of repairs. After I got this message, I left my computer off for about an hour. All seems well so far. Any suggestions?
What laptop do you have?

Problem with the EFI system partition's file system.
I installed latest yosemite 10.10.2 update - did a verify disk on “WDC WD1001FALS-403AA0 Media” (internal HD on my iMac 21.5-inch, Mid 2011) and got
Problems were found with the partition map which might prevent booting
Error: The partition map needs to be repaired because there’s a problem with the EFI system partition’s file system.
However a verify disk on the volume partition gets a clean bill of health!
I haven't done a 'repair disk' yet. Thought I'd check if anybody else has same message first.
CheersI had issues where my MacPro 8-core would not boot after the 10.7.4 upgrade, but my MacBook Air 13" 2011 upgrade worked just fine.
I had to restore my MacPro HD from my TimeMachine back up. Apparently, the Softraid raid drivers that I use on my MacPro are not compatible yet with 10.7.4. See here for more info:
http://macperformanceguide.com/blog/2012/20120511_1-MacOSX-SoftRAID.html
I contacted Softraid and they are already aware of the issues and are working with Apple for a fix.
Cheers.

MacBook Pro OS x Mavericks. I have Sandisk 256GB SSD and I am getting a below error message.
ALERT: The partition map needs to be repaired because there's a problem with the EFI system partition's file system.
Does anyone know how to resolve this error and fix it ? unfortunately I don't have a Time Machine backup. Thanks!Have you tried to run the verify/repair permissions and verify/repair disk through the recovery disk? If that didn't work then I would reinstall the OS after backing up. If that still doesn't work I would take it in.

Problem with transforming coordinate systems
Hiho,
i've got a problem with transforming coordinate systems.
When I'm trying to transform a sdo_geometry object to another coordinate sytem and then back to the old system, the coordinates are not the same.
Here's an example:
StartSystem SRID is 8220 (Longitude / Latitude (DHDN))
TargetSystem SRID is 8307 (Longitude / Latitude (WGS84))
Original object:
Polygon: {ExteriorRing: LineString: { (0.0, -90.0) (1.5, 0.0) (0.0, 90.0) (4.5, 0.0) (0.0, -90.0)} }
Transformed object:
Polygon: {ExteriorRing: LineString: { (0.0, -5156.620156177403) (85.94366926962347, 0.0) (0.0, 5156.620156177403) (257.8310078088704, 0.0) (0.0, -5156.620156177403)} }
Transformed back to old system:
Polygon: {ExteriorRing: LineString: { (0.0, -5156.620156177403) (4924.209525017614, 0.0) (0.0, 5156.620156177403) (14772.628575052844, 0.0) (0.0, -5156.620156177403)} }
Any ideas what to do?
Thanks for the help in advance.
DirkHi Dirk
Since the transform you are trying to do is just a datum conversion of lat./long. coordinates, even the first transform yields obvious rubbish. What you have provided here does not illustrate how you submitted your polygon to CS_TRANSFORM.
Provide the syntax of your construction of the corresponding SDO_GEOMETRY object and your SQL select statement that gave these results.

Regarding problem while assigning logical system
Hi Friends,
I had a problem while assigning logical system to the client where in both of my systems are having same client number which belong to 2 different systems.
while assigning the sender and receiver logical system to the same client i am facing problem stating that an entry has already been made for the same key.
could any one plz give me a clear idea...while assigning logical systems (cross clients) for 2 different systems having same client number.
Regards,
MadhuHello Madhusree,
I'm running with same problem. I've created two logical systems and assigned them to two different clients. But here pops up the issue while generating partner profiles, throwing error "No active plan version exists". Later when I researched about the issue, I came to know that T77S0 table doesn't have any entries regarding plan versions. Basically, I created two clients by doing "client copy" from source client (800 & 100). And I could see plan version entries in the T77S0 of client 800. So, I thought of assigning just defined logical system to the source client 800 itself. But it throws error saying "entry already exists"; as client (800) is already assigned with other logical system.
By coming across your post, gives me leap of hope that two logical systems can be assigned to same client. Could you please share me those troubleshooting steps concerning this issue. Points will be awarded.

Problems with the File System Repository & User Mapping!
Hi All
I am having a problem with a file system repository, and setting up user mapping for that repository.
I have done the following:
Created a File System Repository
Created a Network Path
Created a System (Including the alias)
Now when I go into User Administration and select my user the is no user mapped systems to select.
All this system is doing is connecering to a folder on our File System.
Any help would be great as this is really frustrating!
Thanks
PhilI am using EP7 Stack 11 and unfortunately the only options I have are:

admin,user
It is currently set to admin, user and does not seem to work!

Hello all,
After logon to Import SAP Objects and click the RFC link
i got the following error.
Problems to reach R3 System...
Could you guys guide me what i need to change to get rid of this error msg.
Thanks in advance.
SVHello,
Try with the user id and password in capitals. -
2. Make sure there is a network connectivity between XI and your R3 system.
3. Make sure you have the authorizations to import idoc's.
4. Make sure that in your SWCV, you have selected the option, Import of RFC and Idoc's allowed.
I tried above all...
after 10 or 15th attempt its works...

Problem in BW development system.
Hi Experts,
I have problem with BW development system, some of the loads are failed freuently in the BW development and test clients, but they never fail in the production client.
and the error message I am able to see in the Header tab is
"IDocs were found in the ALE inbox for Source System that are not updated.
Processing is overdue."
So I am resolving the issue by " updating manually in OLTP system"
So can any one help me out what will be the problem and how it will be prevented permanently.
regards
sekharHi,
In the system, the Basis team will setup a number of processors for certain specific jobs (you can view them via SM51), and they're ENQUEUE (1), DIALOG (about 6-7), BACKGROUND (3?), SPOOL (2). Each of them serve specific usage. Now when a BI* job comes into the system, it tries to run the job through the Background processors, and also locking up certain tables using the Enqueue. However, if at the point of running the job, there's already someone locking up the table or taking up all the background processors, this BI* job will have to wait until the lock is released or that the background processors are freed up. Hence this could lead to time out on the BI* jobs. It is very common for DEV to be setup with minimal number of processors for each, since the usage is pretty much restricted to the Development team alone.
As for the number of dialog processors, I recalled that there's an OSS note advising on the number of processors to be setup in the environment as a basic setup.
Of course it is also wise to check on the BD87 and the dumps - ST22 and SM21 transactions to find out more information on the reasons of termination.
Thus, frequent termination of jobs is usually related to hardware constraint, or genuinely some configuration setting in the IDOC setup.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,

Satellite P500-12D - A problem with the cooling system has been detected
hi there everyone,
I have bought a Satellite P500-12D which was a retail return. When I start it up it runs a couple of mins and then this comes up on the screen:
Warning: A problem with the cooling system has been detected. please turn off the computer immediately and return it for service.
In the toshiba health monitor the cpu is under 50% temp and if it goes much above that the cooling fan comes on and lowers it back down and the fan stops again, I have noticed that only the r/h fan runs to cool the cpu, should both them come on together? Could it be a software problem?
Tthe unit is new without even the plastic off the screen surround or webcam. Any help or even point me in the right direction would be very appreciated, garyThe fact that the pc is a retail return would indicate that there was a fault at day one and the customer returned it. At some point the retailer turned it on and since it appeared to work re-sold it.
This is the cooling/fan report from a P500 produced by pc wizard 2010 - free from cpuid.com. Perhaps a comparison against the faulty laptop will point to the problem

Data load problem - BW and Source System on the same AS
Hi experts,
Im starting with BW (7.0) in a sandbox environment where BW and the source system are installed on the same server (same AS). The source system is the SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) 5.0.
BW is working on client 001 while SRM is on client 100 and I want to load data from the SRM into BW.
Ive configured the RFC connections and the BWREMOTE users with their corresponding profiles in both clients, added a SAP source system (named SRMCLNT100), installed SRM Business Content, replicated the data sources from this source system and everything worked fine.
Now I want to load data from SRM (client 100) into BW (client 001) using standard data sources and extractors. To do this, Ive created an InfoPackage in one standard metadata data source (with data, checked through RSA3 on client 100 source system). Ive started the data load process, but the monitor says that no Idocs arrived from the source system and keeps the status yellow forever.

I didn't see any reason why it's not bringing. Are you doing full extraction or Delta. If delta extraction please check the extractor is delta enabled or not. Some times this may cause problems.
Also check this weblog on data Load errors basic checks. it may help
