Hola a todos,
Al aplicar Clean up diagram ,para que quede ordenado el esquema, algunas letras de variables en "Formula Node" quedan fuera del cuadro (alguna completamente) , aunque no afecta al funcionamiento , alguien sabe como solucionarlo y que no sea volviendo a escribir la variable?. Adjunto imagen de una "Formula Node" donde se presenta el problema.

(1) You say you did the symbolic link. I will assume this is set correctly; it's very important that it is.
(2) I don't know what you mean by "Been feeding the [email protected] for several weeks now, 700 emails each day at least." After the initial training period, SpamAssassin doesn't learn from mail it has already processed correctly. At this point, you only need to teach SpamAssassin when it is wrong. [email protected] should only be getting spam that is being passed as clean. Likewise, [email protected] should only be getting legitimate mail that is being flagged as junk. You are redirecting mail to both [email protected] and [email protected] ... right? SpamAssassin needs both.
(3) Next, as I said before, you need to implement those "Frontline spam defense for Mac OS X Server." Once you have that done and issue "postfix reload" you can look at your SMTP log in Server Admin and watch as Postfix blocks one piece of junk mail after another. It's kind of cool.
(4) Add some SARE rules:

There are other things you can do, and you'll find differing opinions about such things. In general, I think implementing the "Frontline spam defense for Mac OS X Server" and adding the SARE rules will help a lot. Good luck!

Theres something really wrong with Clean Up Diagram

There appears to be some significant problems with the Clean Up Diagram algorithm. It seems that far too much space is padded next to cluster unbundle by name and structure objects. It is really frustrating that some things appear miles apart and others are far too close. I have done a very good job of factoring this application into VIs but the inconsistency around certain objects makes it look terrible.
Help! I can't read it!
PS: Prior to now I have been careful not to perform a Clean Up Diagram on the vi containing a case with a large number of sub cases.

Problem applying clean up diagram

Hi,
Applying Clean up diagram, so that it ordered the scheme, some letters of variables in "Formula Node" are outside the box (some completely), but does not affect operation, anyone know how to fix it and did not write the variable back? . Attached image of a "Formula Node" where the problem arises.

I would try moving the terminals back to the side of the node instead of being on the bottom.

It is a known issue and un-conventional remedy.
It is Hardware failure. I would get the iPhone changed for a good one.

There should be a way to lock a Decoration Free Label in a location that the Clean Up Diagram will not move it somewhere else.
Is there such a feature?
How do you get your Decorations to stay where you put them even after Clean Up Diagram?

Producer consumer "clean up diagram" puts consumer on top of producer

I do File > New... > VI > From Template > Frameworks > Design Patterns > Producer/Consumer Design Pattern (Events)
Then without doing anything to the block diagram or front panel, I click on the "clean up diagram" which does the auto block diagram cleanup. Bam! Consumer loop is put on top of Producer.
I tried a bunch of combinations of the Block Diagram options settings (wire spacing, move controls left, etc.) , but the "clean up diagram" always wants to put consumer loop on top of the producer loop. How can I get labview to maintain the original loop positions?

There is a reason a lot of use do not like to use the Block Diagram Cleanup. It generally works for simple VIs. But I would not use it on my top level architecture.

Using local variables to "clean up" diagram

I have attached a photo with red circles indicating my use of local variables to "clean up" a block diagram. Would I run into any issues doing this? Can I leave this task and error unwired?

I see some possibly really bad race conditions with your VISA Resources. For instance, if Task Out 3 is empty (by default), it is likely that the local to read will happen before the local to write. What this will turn into is you loosing your VISA Reference in the shift register. Use wires. Locals very rarely clean up your diagram.

I had problems with my account (A12E1) and used the cleaner tool. Now i can update my CC desktop, but some of the programs aint on my Mac anymore, but the CC desktop says that these programs are updasted, so i can´t reinstall them. What to do?

Please check Applications>> Utilities>> Adobe Installers and see if the CC apps uninstaller is listed there.
If yes, please run the uninstaller to uninstall the apps and reinstall them from Adobe CC.

Problem to create "New Database Diagram" in Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio for SQL Server 2012 SQL Express

I have installed SQL Server 2012 Express edition (name of installation media: en_sql_server_2012_express_edition_with_advanced_services_x64.exe) from MSDN and I have installed the application on my pc with Windows 7 Exterprise.
Everything is working fine except when I am trying to create "New Database Diagram", where I recieve following error message:
TITLE: Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt. (Microsoft.VisualStudio.OLE.Interop)

I have tried two times to reinstall SQL Server 2012 Express and I have installed Cumulative Update #3 for SQL Server 2012 and restarted the machine, but I have still the same problem with the same error message.
Installed the following fixes:
1) 2012_RTM_DAC_CU3_2723749_11_0_2332_x64
2) SQLServer2012_RTM_CU3_2723749_11_0_2332_x64
These files was installed successful.
How can I solve the problem?

Have you installed Visual Studio in your machine?
The problem seems to be related to installing and uninstalling the VS 2011 RC0 program.
The workaround involves copying the files from another PC with SQL 2008 or 2012 from one machine to another. Just replace this folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\microsoft shared\MSDesigners8

Continued disk problems even after clean installs

I've been battling with "keys out of order" and "invalid node structure" errors for some time now. After the initial incident, which rendered my Rev B iMac G5 17" 1.8Ghz 250Gig 10.4.4 unusable, I did a clean install. A week later the same problem occurred again. I again did a clean install erasing all free space and zeroing the disk. After a few weeks again I had the same problem. The third time I erased free space and wrote over the disk 7 times. A month later here I am with the same problems. Disk Utility and fsck seem to "fix" things for a week or so at a time. I've now got 43 items in Lost+Found.
I don't run anything on this machine that it didn't ship with save Firefox and Thunderbird. Could there be something wrong with the install media that shipped with my computer? Could it be the hard drive, bad blocks maybe? I'm open to any hackery that might help. Please don't just recommend DiskWarrior! I'll trade advise for a REAL explanation. Thanks in Advance.

Disk Warrior can't fix hardware problems, and since you seem to have a hardware problem, I won't recommend that you try Disk Warrior. Is that a deal?
We've seen 'keys out of order' messages as being the result of HD, logic board and RAM problems, so it's hard to say with any authority what may be causing this on your machine. Have you run Apple Hardware Test in extended mode from your Install & Restore Disc 1 as others have suggested? It may provide some insight. If you've added third-party RAM, run AHT's extended test in looped mode for several hours or overnight.

Problems with a clean restore

I have an iMac at my office that is about a 2007 machine. For the first time this spring, I began to have some real problems with it around March or April; the details of those problems aren't important here. The tech support guy at my university finally decided that the best option was probably a complete wipe of the hard drive and then a systematic restore that wasn't completely Time Machine based. The reason for this was because we were afraid there might be something in the settings and things in other places that might perpetuate the problems. I put all of my data in Dropbox (I don't use iCloud yet but will soon) but left things like my music in Time Machine and also created a folder on the external drive for all of the items on my Desktop. The tech wiped the drive, reinstalled Mountain Lion and iLife and I then began to slowly put the apps back on the drive that I wanted. So far, all is going very well and virtually all of the problems have gone away.
There is one hitch, though. When I fired up Time Machine to bring back all of my music for iTunes, I couldn't see any of my old backups. It's as though they don't exist. I went to the external drive in Finder and saw both my backups as well as the folder with my desktop items. However--when I try to either look at the backups or open a file/folder in my saved Desktop folder, I get a message saying that I don't have permission to view any of this. I looked at the users folder in the backup and the user name in the backup is different from the user name that currently on my machine (which, I'm sure, is because that's the way the tech set it up). It's a real pain, because even the folder I made with the Desktop items won't let me open--unless I go in, one at a time, and change permissions to read and write.
Is there some type of workaround on this with administrative permissions or something like this--especially for the Time Machine data? I would like to do this without spending untold hours on it.

That's because the user account isn't recognized as being the same one as on the backups. It's not the name, it's the mostly-hidden UserID number or UID. The cause is a bit different, but the result is the same as explained in the pink box in Problems after using Migration Assistant.
(The procedure in #B6 of the link in the other post doesn't apply here; that's for a new computer or HD, or when TM thinks you got a new one.)

Enter "BOOT_TIME" (without the quotes) in the search box. Note the timestamps of those log messages, which refer to the times when the system was booted. Now clear the search box and scroll back in the log to the last boot time after you had the problem. Please include the BOOT_TIME message at the end of the log extract.

App/Icon problem since Disk clean

Today I did a hard drive clean, to free up some space. (using the Disk Doctor app)
I now find that a couple of icons in my dock are showing a question mark (?) rather than the icon.
For example : MPlayerX
And these apps affected with the '?' won't open.
So I did a fresh install of MPlayerX from the Apple App Store. It downloads and installs fine into Launchpad. But the app simply won't open (I just see a rotating multi-colour disk). I have to force the app to quit.
I have uninstalled and fresh-installed twice, no go.
I have not run any other app/disk clean or uninstall procedures. Just the Disk Doctor. In the Disk Doctor parameters, I set it to clean 'App Caches, 'App Logs', 'Downloads' & 'Trashcan'.
Any suggestions?

Cleaning applications can destroy your operating system, which apparently Disk Doctor did.
Try running this program and then copy and paste the output in a reply. The program was created by Etresoft, a frequent contributor. Please use copy and paste as screen shots can be hard to read.

Hypertrend problem adding trace from block diagram

Hello,
does anybody know the propper way to add a trace/traces to Hypertrend. To be more exact, I have multiple traces in Citadel databes that I want to extract programmaticly do some manipulations and them show the trace on hypertrend. When I try to replicate the solution from Examples (Trend Viewing Options and simnilar) the result is following :
I tried everything but I can't get to write to the field "Trace Path" (shown on picture above) instead by writing to URL property it writes to "Name:" field.

I've tried the mentioned example but with no joy. I've switched to LV 2010 but still cannot programmaticly add traces from library. Here is the current version that I'm trying to make work.
The main reason thaht I'm trying to use HyperTrend is the issue that is coming up when using XY Graph with Citadel database. Under some conditions the XY Graph sets the begining of time to year 1904 when reading a trace. The HyperTrend doesnt have that problem, but the problem is how to add traces programmatically the same way I do it with XY Graph.
