Problema de congelar (invoice GoPRO HERO 3+ Black Edition with problems)

Hello, first I'm sorry for bad English.
I won the gift of a camera GoPro Hero 3+ Serial number: {removed per forum guidelines}, which is presenting manufacturing problems.
GoPro has already contacted me for replacement, however I need a duplicate invoice.
The purchase was held in Orlando, Florida 32839 on 05/26/2014.
What information is required so that I get a receipt?
I need it, to trigger the guarantee.
Thanks

  • Importing slow motion sequenze (848 x 480) from GoPro Hero 3 black edition in FC

How can I import a slow motion sequenz from my Hero GoPro black edition into Final Cut? The original has a resolution of 848 x 480. After the import Final Cut makes this sequenze a little bit larger (640 x 480), resulting that part of sharpness is lost.

When dropping the clip into the timeline for the first time, try setting the Video Properties Format to NTSC SD and Resolution to 720x480 DV Anamorphic.  Clips of your resolution should fit and leave a bit of pillarboxing on the sides.  To ensure you're playing it back at the best image quality, go to Playback Preferences, and set Playback Quality to High Quality.

  • Project settings for GoPro Hero 3  Black Edition Protune 2.7k 24p

I am trying to figure out what setting to use to import Protune 2.7k 24p clips into Premiere CC 2014
I am trying to avoid using GoPro Studio and transcoding there, yet is this the only way to do this?
I can of course load in a GoPro .mp4 Protune file directly into Premiere but I have no idea which preset to use.
    Thanks

Use MpegStreamclip (free) to convert the files to Apple Intermediate Codec (AIC).
You must record in or convert the files to 30 fps mode as FCE only works in that frame rate.

  • GoPro Hero 3 Black .mp4 footage import--current best way?

I've read a lot in these forums about importing .mp4 footage into FCPX.  It seems that it used to be the case (and maybe still is?) that FCPX either wouldn't import .mp4 files, or wouldn't do a good or reliable job if it did.
I've been shooting some footage with a GoPro Hero 3 Black.  FCPX seems to import it just fine.  But I'm not sure if that's the best way to do it?  Should I be using another program (like GoPro's Cineform software) to first convert the Hero 3 .mp4 files to .mov files?  Or should I just let FCPX do it?
Also, I noticed something that seems odd when I'm importing these .mp4 files:  If I import them directly from the SD card that the GoPro stores them on, I can select in and out points in the .mp4 clips I'm importing.  But if I first copy the .mp4 files from the SD card to one of my hard drives, I cannot select in and out points when importing (I have to import the entire clip).  Why is this?
(I should mention, in case it is relevant, that the clips I cannot select in and out points for [the ones that I first copied to my hard drive] are 1080p 60 fps, and the ones that I can select in and out points for [the ones I'm importing directly from the card] are 720p 120 fps.)

This is easy. I do it all the time. FCPX ingests GoPro footage just fine. Optimize, and you're good to go.
BTW: A common hiccup occurs when dealing with over-cranked footage. (60fps or 120fps.) Be sure to "conform speed" to actuate the slo-mo. 'Tis also important to designate your project / timeline at 24fps or 30fps to realize the speed difference.
I've gotten burned in the past. I'll drag my over-cranked GoPro footage to the timeline. As it is the "first" clip layed into the timeline, the project assumes THAT speed as a default. (As per my preferences.) Thus, when I "conform speed," nothing seems to happen. That's because my project is displaying at the higher rate. A 60fps timeline showing footage shot at 60fps looks "normal speed."
FYI. (And disregard if you know all this.)

  • GoPro HERO 3 black.

    Hello,
I have a one question  is GoPro HERO 3 black available in stores now?
Or i have to Pre-order it or what?
I just want to go store and buy it.

    Hey repsuke,
Thanks for getting back to me on this. The only store in El Paso that might have one of these in stock is the store on Viscount Blvd. The best I can suggest is to try calling them, and ask if they can physically verify that this is in stock. All the stores in El Paso have this on order.

  • Go Pro Hero 3 Black edition files are unsupported?

This is the second time I imported some photos into my Aperture library from my Go Pro Hero 3 Black edition camera and I get a message that says my files which are in the JPEG format are not supported. It tells me that I need to download the photos to a location on my computer or hard drive first but the weird thing is that it WILL import into Aperture too. Its like its making me back them up to another location before it imports into Aperture. Why is this? Is there something I can do to just make the files supported?

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
If that doesn't help try adding a new video to your Camera Roll. Perhaps the update process caused the problem. If a new video plays correctly then reload your older videos from your backup.

  • IPad and go pro hero 3 black edition ?

How do I get my iPad and my go pro hero 3 black edition work together ?

According to their website, they'll finally release the Hero3 Black app December 14.  Interesting since they'd said all along it'd be mid-December.  Seems to me either they are racing to have it ready or they could have just posted it when it was ready...   http://gopro.com/software-app/gopro-app

  • GoPro Hero 3 Black 4k and Adobe Media Encoder CS6

As a current Creative Cloud member and a Premiere Pro user, I wanted to see if the Adobe Media Encoder can be used as an alternative to GoPro's Cineform Studio (free version), mainly as a batch encoder for use in Adobe Premiere Pro. The main issue with the GoPro footage in Adobe Premiere Pro is that its codec is not compatible with playback in Premiere, there's a conflicting codec that GoPro uses that unfortunately causes it to have choppy playback in Adobe Premiere Pro. Another issue is that the Adobe Cineform Studio (free version) is that one can only export one video at a time. And, finally I wanted to have more export options than what's available in the Cineform.
This is what I've come up with:
    • 4Kcin and 4K show no preview footage in the encoder, and will export as black video - the encoder sees "no video"
    • 2.7cin & 2.7k and below all show preview and export appropriately.
The main issue is that Adobe Media Encoder does not recognize the 4kcin or 4k footage from the GoPro camera. But it can encode 4k or above footage since it has a REDCODE plugin.
    Any thoughts or suggestions?

  • GoPro Hero 3 Black -- extremely choppy in Premiere Pro?

    Hey guys,
I've searched all around the internet but can't find a solution to my problem. I shot my trip to florida last year at 1080p/60FPS. I have major issues with playing it in premiere, and it's making it very hard to edit. It's super choppy- no doubt due to the framerate. I tried converting them in the GoPro Studio to avi, no avail. I read that Premiere Pro CC would fix these issues- it doesnt. can anyone help this nooblet?
    Thanks so much!

If you did the auto change, then the Sequence is likely 1080p60 to match the footage. You can check the sequence setting by clicking a drop down menu at the top, I think under Project? Not in front of Premiere right now, but poke around the top menus, you will find the current sequence settings.
You can have multiple sequences at once. Go to File > New > Sequence and make a new one. Choose AVCHD > 1080p30. Add clip to that sequence and do NOT let Premiere change it when it asks. how does that work? If you already have editing done in the 60p sequence, you don't have to recreate that - in 60p timeline, do "Ctrl-A" to Select All, then Ctrl-C to COPY and then open the 30p sequence and Ctrl-V to PASTE all those edits into the proper 30p sequence.
Another thing to check, I believe under Project menu, does it say "Software Only" or "Hardware GPU" for the Mercury Engine? If software only, what model GPUs do have have? You may be able to harness the power of the GPU for better playback depending on what you have.
    Hope this helps

  • Premiere Pro + GoPro Hero 3 Black

    Hey guys!
Recently purchased a GoPro and was wondering if there are any GoPro users out there who have any recommendation or advice on what they think works best when using Premiere Pro.
When I start the process of a new project, as you all know, I am prompted with a list of different file types and qualities to select from. I don't see anything that really fits the GoPro. I see something ACVHD, has an option with 1080p at 60fps, which is the resolutioin and framerate my GoPro footage was shot at. Can I assume this is the most appropriate one to select? If not, what works best for GoPro raw footage? I noticed that there isn't anything in this list beyond 60fps. Does that mean it wouldn't work with the 240fps GoPro footage? What exactly does this select do to the project overall?
Does anyone have experience using the GoPro CineForm Studio? What are your thoughts on it? I personally couldn't find any use for it. Perhaps the fisheye disable option, but does Premiere Pro not have a similar option? I could be wrong about the software. Maybe someone can enlighten me.
Any stories, recommendations and thoughts would be awesome! Thanks!

If you drag a clip into the New Item icon it will be interprete at the correct framerate.
If your machine cannot handle gopro Cineform is a grand alternative.
I use to use it for hdv.
For the fisheye you can use the Lens Distortion effect.

  • 3D Tracking wont recognize GoPro Hero 3 (Black) Result: analysis solve failed

So my crew were filming some pool action witth GoPro and i was doing an 3D Tracking for it. It scans it normaly but when it starts analyze the camera it will fail. I have tried all methods found from google but no luck. I even ran the clip trough handbreak but no luck. Anyone else having this same issue? If yes, how did you fix it? I just gave up with that thing and moved on but now i wanna do it since im bored.

Trying to 3D track water is not going to work. There must be fixed geometry, things that don't move, in the shot. Since the water is always moving there's no geometry in the shot that AE's camera tracker can use to solve for camera position. A single screenshot of your problematic shot would verify my assumptions. Something like this cannot be solved for a 3D camera because there is no fixed geometry.

  • Premiere CC for Mac - How do I fix fisheye from a GoPro Hero 3+ video?

    Hi all,
First up, I'm very new to Premiere - my experience is probably less than 2 hours at this point.  To disspell any concern over whether or not I'm using a licensed copy of Pr - yes, I am.  I subscribe to Creative Cloud because of my need for Lr, Ps and Ai.
Anyway, I've got a GoPro Hero 3+ Black Edition camera and would like to learn how to remove the fisheye effect caused by the crazy wide video that produces.  In 1920x1080 "SuperView" I think it's some like 170+ degrees of view vs 127 degrees in "normal" wide mode.  Those figures might not be 100% correct but they're close.
With SuperView there's some insane fisheye going on - as you'd expect, I guess.  Using the GoPro software there's an option to remove it but that produces video with an aspect ratio that looks squashed.  People are super tall and I lose some of the captured video at the top & bottom when watching.
In Premiere for Windows, I believe there's a video effect calls Lens Distortion - it's not there on my Mac version of Premiere CC.  The tutorial I watched set the Lens Distortion to -27 and I'd like to try it.  Can't though - that effect isn't there.
Is it possible to remove fisheye using Premiere CC for Mac only i.e. completely bypass the GoPro software?  If anyone's wondering why I want to bypass the GoPro software - the answer is "just coz."
    Thanks

The 2014 release of Premiere Pro CC now has presets for specific GoPro models. This is true in PPro for Mac, too. Check out the Effects tab in the Project panel: Presets > Lens Distortion Removal > GoPro > [your specific model] > [your specific GoPro footage's mode]. Drag the effect to your clip and watch the barrel distortion go away.

  • Can't do GoPro Hero 3 lens corrections in Photoshop CC

I'm a creative cloud subscriber. I just watched a great video on Adobe TV showing me how Photoshop CC can do lens corrections for GoPro Hero 3 black edition cameras. However, when I imported my GoPro Hero 3 footage into Photoshop CC, GoPro did not appear as a camera maker. I shot the video in 1080, with ProTune on, in Camera RAW. Maybe that's why I don't see GoPro... Any ideas?

I was initially mystified by this as well.  Here is what I finally figured out:
    1.  From bridge, open a GoPro .mp4 file in Photoshop.
    2.  Filter > Lens Correction.  Pull down GoPro under camera; GoPro Hero 3 Black under camera model and lens.
    3.  Click OK.
To add additional video clips, hit the "+" sign at the right side of the Timeline panel.  Apply the Lens Correction filter to these, as well.
