PROBLEMA IMESSAGE

Grazie

HI,
The only other possible way to do this is via the iTunes support Staff.
If I Open iTunes and go to the Store and then to the bottom of the page there is a Help Column.
In this is Contact Support.
For me this launches this page http://www.apple.com/uk/support/itunes/contact/
On the right hand pane is a Link reading Contact iTunes Store Support.
After that follow the items about Managing your account.
It will try to offer suggestions as solutions and you have to work your way from left to right across the pages.
Eventually you get offered an Email Contact item.
I would do this from your iTunes to get the Local iTunes Store to you in a language that will be the most helpful.
I will admit some have reported success doing it this way when  there is no Phone number or the one listed in not Local.
I have also seen people report that they received no Help this way.

  • TS4268 I CANNOT find an answer to my problem. iMessage not working.

I have had my iphone 3gs for over 3 months and now my iMessage is not working. under settings it says waiting for activation, and I am outside of the 90 day free support window. the tech told me to go to the support pages and I could find the answer no problem. I can't. I have had this problem ever since I updated to iOs 6.01. can anyone help me get my imessage working again. I need it so I can send messages over wifi since my phone is not activated right now to use over cellular networks.

http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2755 shows the requirements for iMessage to work.  On an iPhone you do need an SMS plan for it to work.  It likely will never activate because you do not have it activated on a cellular plan.

  • Apple ID Problem - iMessage/FaceTime issues

Hello, I ran into an issue this morning, and am seeking some assistance. I was trying to tackle this problem on my own, but I decided it would be better to just ask the community .
This morning, I ran into an issue with no explanation. It suddenly happened, with no warning. When I checked my iPod Touch this morning, everything seemed normal. But, I tried to send my friend something through iMessage, and it didn't send. I first thought it was a simple Wi-Fi issue, but no matter how many times I tried, no matter who I tried to send a message to. I didn't send. I am on a secure network, and merely a few meters from my Wi-Fi Router. I later discovered FaceTime wasn't working too. I asked my friends through another way of communication if it was also down for them, and they all said that it was working fine for them. I even tried my mother's Apple ID, and it worked fine (we're on the same network)!!! Though I only tried iMessage and FaceTime, I'm sure anything that requires an Apple ID will not work with mine.
A few hours, it just logged me out of iMessage, so I decided to try and log back in. I checked MULTIPLE TIMES if I was typing in my password correctly, and I was. Yet, it kept on saying, either:
    1. It cannot log me into iMessage, and to check my network connection.
    2. To type in my password AGAIN, and then #1 would pop up.
I don't know what would cause this, or what I could have done to trigger it, but if ANYBODY knows how I can fix this issue, that would be great! Thank you for your time!

I have an ipod touch 4g and I do not open more IMessage, when "I click" on opens the blank screen for 30 seconds or so and then closes by itself
    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Go to Settings>Messages>Send and Receive and sign out and sign back into your Apple ID
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:

    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

  • 8.1 update problems: iMessage

after updating to the 8.1 yesterday morning my iMessage has not been working correctly. first my messages said undelivered until I turned Imessage off. Then I tried to turn them on again and they will only send from my email. When I uncheck my email address and just have my number the same thing happens where they won't deliver at all. Please help.

    Hello Ljturner09,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
To troubleshoot issues with sending iMessages on your iPhone please follow the steps in the article linked to below.
To resolve issues with sending and receiving iMessages, follow these steps
Check iMessage system status for current service issues.
Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive and make sure that you registered iMessage with your phone number or Apple ID and that you selected iMessage for use. If the phone number or Apple ID isn't available for use, troubleshoot iMessage registration.
Open Safari and navigate to www.apple.com to verify data connectivity. If a data connection isn't available, troubleshoot cellular data or a Wi-Fi connection.
iMessage over cellular data might not be available while you're on a call. Only 3G and faster GSM networks support simultaneous data and voice calls. Learn which network your phone supports. If your network doesn't support simultaneous data and voice calls, go to Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi on to use iMessage while you're on a call.
    Restart your device.
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings on your iPhone.
If you still can't send or receive an iMessage, follow these steps
Make sure that the contact trying to message you isn't blocked in Settings > Messages > Blocked.
Make sure that the contact you're trying to send a message to is registered with iMessage.
If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, back up or forward important messages and delete your current messaging threads with the contact. Create a new message to the contact and try again.
If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, delete and recreate the contact in the Contacts app. Create a new message to the newly created contact and try again.
Back up and restore your device as new.
    iOS: Troubleshooting Messages
    Take care,
    Alex H.

  • HT201253 How do I sync my iPad 2 to my iPhone 5? I'm having problems sending iMessages from my iPhone 5 to my iPad 2

I Have an iPad 2 and an iPhone 5... I'm having problems iMessaging between the two devices...my iPad 2 is not getting any messages/ pictures sent from my iPhone 5.  I am also unable to sync them...
    Can anyone help?

    Hello, Deb2015.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
I understand that messages sent and received from your iPhone are not showing up on your iPad.  I would check to make sure you have an internet connection on the iPad as this could be the cause.  If the issue persists, try the troubleshooting steps in the article below.
If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
    Cheers,

  • IMessage Problem: cannot send iMessage to a specific contact!

    So here is the problem:
It's about 24 hours I cannot send iMessage to a specific contact only! Both of us have access to the internet and both of us can send iMessages to other contacts.
We have tried rebooting the phone, and turning iMessage on and off.
If it matters, we both live in Sweden and use different MNOs but still we are both on Wifi and cannot send and receive iMessages.
Could anyone give me and idea of what to do?!
Oh..and Apple...your iMessage is reaaaaaaally bougus.. do something about this pile of crap.

I had this problem with my sister living in Austria and I am in the States and at first I wondered if it was some international problem.
Are you sure you both have your apple ID's programmed into your contacts? For some reason it wasn't registering my sister's phone number as an iPhone but when I added her apple ID e-mail, it sends fine. I just have to iMessage her to THAT particular e-mail. That's the only way I was able to sort this same problem. iMessaging her to that e-mail works just fine.
I've iMessaged people in the states before just using their phone number only and not having their apple ID e-mail but with messaging to my sister in Austria, I have to use her e-mail. Wondering if anyone else has this issue with international iMessaging? I've iMessaged someone in Australia before with just their phone number and it worked fine so maybe it's completely random? I don't know. But definitely check and see if you have their apple ID in there in their contact information and try to iMessage them on that. See if it works! It did for me.

  • IMessage problems. (Unable to iMessage one particular person..?)

Hello, I am new to the apple community and didn't know where to post this. However this question is regarding my iPhone 4S which i recently purchased. Basically me and a specific friend (which has asked for any of her details to not be given out) are having problems iMessaging (She has iPhone 4 whic she purchased a day before me. We have no problem iMessaging anyone else with an iPhone however to each other it does not work. On her phone the bubbles are still green despite the fact that we both have wifi on and iMessage on yet on mine it will be blue and say delivered but she doesnt recieve anything? However what I have noticed is that on her phone she has no other options such as the 'Send Read Receipts', 'Sent as SMS' or the 'Receive at' which from what ive tested with on my other iPhone friends do have so at first i thought that would be the problem but it can't be because like I said she has no difficulty messaging anyone else with an iPhone. (Same with FaceTime which i figured wouldnt work because they work the same way..I think?) I've tried everything and somehow it still doesnt work? Someone please help as its really starting to bug me because it keeps making me think that there is a fault in my phone. Thanks Kind Regards.

Hi randers4, thankyou for your reply but thing is she does have it on because she iMessages a friend daily and it works for them and same with me just not each other. When I have it on also it will say its delivered but she will not receive anything but her SMS still come through. If i didnt have wifi on it would fall back on SMS but seen as i do it says delivered yet she still doesnt receive it. And we have both updated to iOS 5.1. So we can't figure out who the one with the problem is. She says it is mine however I have a feeling it is hers but I don't know hence why I came here. Thanks Kind Regards.

  • IMessage between iOS7 devices

Hi everyone. I've been trying to help out my parents for the last two hours with iMessage issues however I'm having no luck so I'm seeking assistance here.
I'll set the scene: Dad - iPhone 4 (device 1), Mum - iPad 3 wifi (device 2), me - iPhone 4S and iPad 3 wifi (devices 3 & 4). All devices have been updated to iOS7.0.2 (latest version at time of writing).
The problem: iMessage fails to work in one direction only, between devices 1 & 2, messages sent from device 1 state that they are delivered but never arrive, however messages from device 2 are sent and received with no problems.
Devices 3 & 4 have simply been used to test further:
Device 1 sends and receives from both of these and vice versa.
Device 2 sends and receives from both of these and vice versa.
So I'm really struggling to find the issue. I've signed devices 1 & 2 out of iMessage, hard reset, then signed in - no change.
One observation I did make was if I went to type a new message from device 1 to 2 for a brief moment the email address I selected went green and then blue, could be a red herring?
Could anyone suggest which device is failing here as I can't work it out together with any suggestions (shy of factory resets).
I'm tech savvy but this has beaten me for tonight!
    Thanks MJ

There is currently no iMessage implementation for OS X devices. So, no.

  • Iphone Imessages are Sent But Not received

Problem: Imessage is going using iphone. But Wasn't able to receive in Iphone. But these received message are visible in other devices(Mac or Ipad).
When you upgrade the iOS all the imessage settings are going to be refreshed and the latest and greatest upgrade device settings will be stored at Imessage settings level.
For example, First I upgraded my iphone to iOS 6.0.1 and imessages from iphone is working normal. I was able to send and receive imessages. Next I upgraded my macbook pro to Mac OS X Mountain Lion (10.8) and I used the same Apple Id here. Now, I stopped receiving Imessages in phone, but I'm able to receive in Macbook.
What this means to Iphone Imessages?
I think Imessage setttings at apple server level changed and We need to change it back. When you go to Message Settings> Your phone number is Graded Out and Unchecked. Only Apple ID's and other email ID's are checked.
    How and Where to change?
    1) Settings>Messages>Send&Receive> Tap on Apple ID
        Sign Out
    2) Settings>FaceTime> Tap on Apple ID
        Sign Out
    3) Turn Off the Phone and Turn On Again
Give it some time to save settings at server level(My Guess).
    4) Try sending an imessage and check. Make sure Only Imessage is turned on not the SMS from Carrier. At settings level you phone number must be Checked to receive messages on Phone.
    5) Login Back to Apple ID. You can select all the accounts that you want to receive imessages.
It helped me to get imessages on my Mobile. Hope it helps you as well.

No one here can tell you what your provider is doing with your messages. Once Thunderbird hands the email off to your providers server it is done. Your provider can track the message and tell you what is happening as it travels through its server. Ask them again but ask for a tech that knows what they are doing.

  • My iPhone's iMessages is not sending

When I type a iMessage on my ipad or iphone and tape the send button, it just keep saying "sending", but the message never goes through. Can anyone help me?

I had a similar problem. iMessages not transmitting. The blue "sending" line across the top of the message got stuck about nine-tenths of the way across. Sometimes I would get a failure report. Resetting the network in Settings cleared all this and I can now transmit again.

  • Texting problems with iphone 5

I recently bought a factory unlocked iphone 5 and I've been having trouble sending text messages from it.
    1. I cannot send text messages but I CAN send iMessages and MMS's. If I type something in the subject line, even if it's a blank space, and then type something in the body, then it will go. But if I don't type anything in the subject line then the text doesn't get delivered. Similarly, if I keep MMS switched off then messages don't go through.
I can, however, receive texts and imessages.
    2. I can't activate iMessage or FaceTime. Both get stuck on waiting for activation. However, my appleid is recognised and I can send/receive iMessages using that even though it is still "waiting for activation".
    3. When I try to FaceTime, the call goes through and then either gets stuck on connecting or I get a message saying I'm not not available for FaceTime ( I tried calling myself from my iPad 2 to iPhone 5 and vice versa)
I live in the UAE so I know that  FaceTime is not available on apple products meant for this geographical location, but iphones and ipads bought from other countries were able to run these apps without any problem. iMessage was always available and our phone numbers were easily activated on the iPhone 4/S
Anyone have any idea on how to get this to work again? Especially the normal texting bit.
    Thank you!

I think it's a problem with unlocked phones cos if you google it you come across a lot of people in different locations using different carriers having this problem. i'm hoping its a software and not a hardware problem.
I have a dual sim for the same number and when i use the other microsim in my iphone 4 i can send/recieve text messages just fine. i have a problem only on the iphone 5.

  • IMessage Send and Receive Help

Sometimes my friends are telling me that they are getting my imessages from my email address instead of my phone number, even while I am using my iphone 5. When I go into settings and go to the send and recieve menu, under "You can be reached by iMessage at:" my phone number is greyed out.
The problem I think is that lower down where is says "Start new conversations from:" it only has my email address. How do I add my phone number to that so I can only send from my phone number. Im very confused because I am doing this on my iPhone 5 and it wont allow me to start a new conversation from my phone number?
    thanks

My dad had the same problem. iMessages just needs to be reset on the iPhone. Here is how:
    >Settings
    >Messages
    >Turn off iMessage, wait 30 seconds, turn it back on. It will re-register your phone number
