Problema nuovo motore Java nitro con safari
Buongorno!
Grazie
Sorry for this rough Google translation. It sounds like your zoom feature on Safari, which is controlled by the mouse or trackpad System Preferences from the Apple menu, is misbehaving. Try disabling those shortcuts and instead use View menu -> Customize toolbar in Safari to add the small large Aa icons to it by dragging to the toolbar. You can then use that to increase and decrease the text size of the browser window.

Flash/Java/Quicktime?/Safari Problem
Alright, I have this pretty large problem in my case.
I just updated to QT 7.3 and iTunes 7.5, restarted my computer because of the update.
& went on normally, then when trying to load a site like youtube.com (with its flash videos and other things)
Nothing shows up for things swf/flash/java based.
I then restarted my computer again, but the same problem occurs.
I have repaired disk permissions, but that didnt do anything.
I reinstalled flash and java. and 'Reset' Safari.
So what am I suppose to do now?I'm having a similar problem ever since I did the 10.4.11 update. If I use the computer after having been in sleep mode all flash content comes up with a quicktime symbol and a question in front of it when using safari 3.0.4 and in firefox nothing comes up. The first time it did this a dialog box popped up and asked if I would like to enable quicktime to play flash. Enabling or disabling doesn't seem to affect the problem, however if I restart the computer everything is fine. I would prefer to be able to put the darn thing to sleep instead of having to restart every time i want to get online. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Java update crashes Safari and Mail
When upgrading to the latest version of Java, I got a message at the end of the cycle saying that the "source media" was corrupt (or a similar word). I now find that both Safari and Mail crash immediately upon trying to open a URL or a mail message.
Do I uninstall Java? If so, is there guidance on the process? Where might I get the latest safe version of Java? Is Java the source of the Mail problem as well?
(Needless to say, it pays to fear updates.)
Thanks,
TimI have a similar problem after the Java 6 update failed to install through software updater.
I get a crash when trying to load Safari and a few other programs.
I tried downloading the Java update separately and installing it, but I get the same error "Source file is corrupt". I've tried repairing permissions and a disc repair, but despite these working OK I'm still encountering the same problem.
I'm now thinking of rolling back in Time Machine, but fear that this will happen again when next updating.
I can attach an error report if necessary. -
Come posso vedere siti in flash player con safari?
Salve a tutti.
Grazie e SalutiWe're aware of the issue and will address it in a future release. It appears to be a change in Safari, and while the symptoms are the same, the root-cause is probably different.
In the interim, you'll need to an alternative browser for content debugging. Firefox is probably the easiest option in this instance. -

Anyone have the problem I'm having with the Safari collecting cookies even when I'm not on a website? I cleaned everything out and checked several times. Each time cookies were added that I've never seen with my older version of Safari. I have the block third parties and advertisers but I don't think it works. Here's a sample of what is popping up: 247realmedia.com, 2mdn.net addthis.com, admeld.com, adsafeprotected.com, adsonar.com, bit.ly, bluekai.com, bluelithium.com, bluetoad.com bondware.com.......... over 100 things without a clue where they are coming from. Especially since I'm not on any webpage! How do I report a bug? Is there a way to fix this?
Firefox + NoScript, BetterPrivacy, Ghostery, AdBlock Plus, Click&Clean helps.
Hidden Flash cookies are stored in "Macromedia" Folders on your computer, can delete using the free Easy Find, but need to reinstall Flash again here

OnyX run afterwards All the cleaning and maintenance steps followed by a reboot, followed by a Disk Utility erase free space.

Ideally, to surf XXX sites, one should use a virtual machine software like the free VirtualBox and a ISO of Linux like MacBuntu,

comes with Firefox and Flash is available in the Ubuntu Software Center, create a "snapshot" of this virtual machine to revert back too after surfing. This dumps everything hidden or malware related in the guest OS, scrub the drive if you wish with Disk Utility Erase free space option.
HTML 5 has introduced a whole new range of tracking ability, you can search for the details online.
Flash cookie, everycookie, HTML cookies. Google has trackers all over the internet, they record your computer info and all your searches, ISP's record all your IP traffic and keep it for a year, cell carriers track your location via tower and signal triangulation (even non-GPS/smartphones) and keep the results for 6 months and both turn over everything to governments. In fact Uncle Sammy has NSA backrooms on the Internet backbone capturing the traffic in real time.

You can't win, the government, advertisers, social sites, search engines and devices makers are all in cohoots to profile everyone.
Live off the grid and have your freedom or tell everyone your business and let them mold you, there is no "in between", try as you may they just come up with new stuff to watch you, through your web cam, via the hidden microphone and even can turn on some cell phones microphones too.
You may be paranoid, so is the government, and they got more money, power and resources at their disposal to act on it.
Erase the whole hard drive and reinstall, if you can't do that, trash the entire machine and go read a book.

Hello, I´m facing a problem with IDocServerExample.java. I created a new project in eclipse, added the package com.sap.conn.idoc.examples and the class IDocServerExample.java. I configured the files "MYSERVER.jcoServer" and "BCE.jcoDestination" and started the application. Is java vulnerable in safari 5.1? I have a macbook using 10.6.8
I am worried about the java vulnerability. I need it to pay bills on my banks website. is java vulnerable in safari 5.1. I am using a macbook with os 10.6.8
The recently discovered zero-day flaw in Java 7 is so serious that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has warned users to disable or uninstall it, and Apple has disabled the Java 7 plugin on Macs through its OS X anti-malware system, in order to protect users from a potentially serious security issue.
You should disable Java (if not already done) until either the US Department of Homeland Security, or Oracle, declare it safe and Apple restore the facility. Oracle have released an update said to fix the security flaw, available from here:
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre7-downloads-1880261.h tml
Javascript should not be disabled (it has nothing to do with Java), and is probably what your bank is using. -
Safari problem: when I switch back into safari from another application, the menu bar comes up but no tabs or windows. What's going on? Just started yesterday. I have found a workaround: when I Command Tab back to safari, I hit command T to open a new tab and Command W to close it, and my other tabs are visible.
I have tried shutting down, closing tabs, with no success. What's going on and how can I fix it?
Thanks,
Cindi B
PS: I'm not sure of the actual OS level, but I have not allowed it to upgrade to Maverick yet; concerned about it because of a few things I've read...A Safari extension or third party plugin may be causing the menu bar issue.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test. If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.
If it's not an extensions issue, try troubleshooting third party plug-ins.
Back to Safari > Preferences. This time select the Security tab. Deselect: Allow plug-ins. Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that made a difference, instructions for troubleshooting plugins here.
As for which OS X is installed.
Click the Apple () menu top left in your screen. From the drop down menu click About This Mac.
The version is noted there.
v10.6 Snow Leopard v10.7 Lion v10.8 Mountain Lion
It's your choice whether or not to upgrade to Mavericks. If you decide to do this, make sure your Mac meets the requirements noted here. -
Problems with a java bean in Weblogic 5.1
Hello,
I am having a problem deploying a java bean in Weblogic 5.1:
I have been given a .class and a .jar file for a java bean (not an EJB). I
placed the .class file into e:\temp\WEB-INF\classes and added the following
line to my weblogic.properties file:
weblogic.httpd.webApp.testApp=e:/temp/
I have also updated the web.xml file in the WEB-INF directory as follows:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE web-app PUBLIC "-//Sun Microsystems, Inc.//DTD Web
Application 1.2//EN"
"http://java.sun.com/j2ee/dtds/web-app_2_2.dtd">
<web-app>
<servlet>
<servlet-name>EdIface</servlet-name>
<jsp-file>test.jsp</jsp-file>
</servlet>
<servlet-mapping>
<servlet-name>EdIface</servlet-name>
<url-pattern>EdIface</url-pattern>
</servlet-mapping>
</web-app>
When I try to access my http:\\server:port\testApp\test I get an "Error
500 - internal server error".
Has anyone had experice with deploying a java bean with jsut the .class and
.jar file? Where should I put the .jar file?
I appreciate any advice!

I'm trying to run a Java applet with safari, but everytime I go to the webpage all I get is a grey box with a picture of a coffee cup that has two arrows circling it. Nothing loads after that. Any idea how to fix this?
Hi ad1054,
Are you sure you have java 1.6 and if so, how did you get it? I believe the latest version available from apple is 1.5.0_06. Java 1.6 was only just released by Sun, and, if I'm not mistaken, only for PC and Linux. Apple may be waiting to force people to pay for Leopard to get Java 1.6. (Though you can get a beta version from developer.apple.com.) As Hawaiian_Starman mentioned above, you can check your java version.
That said, you don't have to worry about lower versions of Java because Java is backwards compatible. In fact, if you use Firefox (sorry, but I just checked it in Safari, and got a blank page so I guess Safari, like IE, doesn't support this) and go to "about:plugins" you will see something like
<pre>
Java Embedding Plugin 0.9.5g2
File name: MRJPlugin.plugin
Runs Java applets using the latest installed versions of Java. For more information: Java Embedding Plugin. Run version test: Test Your JVM.
MIME Type Description Suffixes Enabled
application/x-java-vm Embedded JVM xjv Yes
application/x-java-applet Embedded Java Applet xja Yes
application/x-java-applet;version=1.1 Embedded Java Applet xja11 Yes
application/x-java-applet;version=1.1.1 Embedded Java Applet xja111 Yes
application/x-java-applet;version=1.1.2 Embedded Java Applet xja112 Yes
application/x-java-applet;version=1.1.3 Embedded Java Applet xja113 Yes
application/x-java-applet;version=1.2 Embedded Java Applet xja12 Yes
application/x-java-applet;version=1.2.1 Embedded Java Applet xja121 Yes
application/x-java-applet;version=1.2.2 Embedded Java Applet xja122 Yes
application/x-java-applet;version=1.3 Embedded Java Applet xja13 Yes
application/x-java-applet;version=1.3.1 Embedded Java Applet xja131 Yes
application/x-java-applet;version=1.4 Embedded Java Applet xja14 Yes
application/x-java-applet;version=1.4.1 Embedded Java Applet xja141 Yes
application/x-java-applet;version=1.4.2 Embedded Java Applet xja142 Yes
application/x-java-applet;version=1.5 Embedded Java Applet xja15 Yes
</pre>
You can see from this list that all versions up to and including the currently installed one are supported. The only thing you have to fear is that the applet you are trying to use was compiled with Java 1.6 and is not itself backwards compatible. However, when I made a test applet of this type, I got a red X, and no coffee cup.
If you see the red X, and I think the coffee cup as well, you should be able to right-click (or ctrl-click) the icon. If so, this will give you a menu with "console" and "about" choices. "About" will give you the version of Java you have, and "console" is supposed to show you the errors that kept the applet from working. (However, with my Java 1.6 test, the console was empty.)
I hope this helps.

Problem in generate Java from PL SQL package in Jdeveloper
Hi
i have problem in create java class from PL SQL package in JDeveloper.
I use Database navigator of jdeveloper and right click on a package and choose Generate Java then in Jpublisher window choose my view Controller and accept other default values.
I call methods of generated class in the Action of a button in my JSP page, but when I click the button it throw null pointer exception !!! i fund one of generated method return null and it lead to this exception.
protected DefaultContext __tx = null;
public DefaultContext getConnectionContext() throws SQLException {
if (__tx==null){
__tx = (getConnection()==null) ? DefaultContext.getDefaultContext() : new DefaultContext(getConnection());
return __tx;
public Connection getConnection() throws SQLException
if (__onn!=null) return __onn;
else if (__tx!=null) return __tx.getConnection();
else if (__dataSource!=null) __onn= __dataSource.getConnection();
return __onn;
i try to generate class in Model project and create DataControl for that and use method action but noting change and i get null pointer again!!
Jdeveloper Versino = 11.1.1.7.0Let me ask you another question: Why do you generate java from the package at all?
Where do you want to call the package?
Back to your question: you should see code like
public void setDataSourceLocation(String dataSourceLocation) throws SQLException {
javax.sql.DataSource dataSource;
try {
Class cls = Class.forName("javax.naming.InitialContext");
Object ctx = cls.newInstance();
java.lang.reflect.Method meth = cls.getMethod("lookup", new Class[] { String.class });
dataSource = (javax.sql.DataSource) meth.invoke(ctx, new Object[] { "java:comp/env/" + dataSourceLocation });
setDataSource(dataSource);
} catch (Exception e) {
throw new java.sql.SQLException("Error initializing DataSource at " + dataSourceLocation + ": " + e.getMessage());
in the generated code. This code look up a datasource (which you have defined e.g. on the Weblogic Server) by calling the method
setDataSourceLocaltion("jdbc/HRConnDS");
This look up the datasource nad stores it in the class variable.

The software versions we are using :
1 - Oracle SOA suite on 10.1.3.3 Oracle AS
2 – Java 1.5
3 – Tomcat 5.5
4 – OS XP ProfessionalIf you have a main method in jour generated WSclient class (by the proxy) add the following code below the //add your own code:
AddFileResponseType testResponse = myPort.addFile(testRequest);
where AddFileResponseType is the responsetype of the WS and addFile is the method to call. this is just an example of my own webservice.
Next stap is to put the cursor in the main method and choos debug or run.
This should invoke the main method en call the webservice
I hope this helps you
