Problema yosemite

Hola
Muchas gracias

  • Usual problem - Yosemite killed my macbook. Please help

Upgraded to Yosemite on 2008 macbook pro which had worked perfectly until then. Now it's unusable. Any command prompts the wheel of death and endless waiting.  Here's an EtreCheck download but I can't see anything really wrong. All your suggestions gratefully appreciated, thanks.

  • Bluetooth problem Yosemite

I bought a new iMac 21,5 with wireless keyboard and the Magic Mouse.
I've been using it for about two weeks now and everything was working fine, until i installed the new OSX Yosemite when it released.
Now, about 10x an hour the computer loses the bluetooth connection with the keyboard.
This is very annoying, since i use it for 3D drawing, and everytime it loses connection, i have to fill in the numbers again.
I've read on the internet that a lot of people share these problems.
Is Apple coming with a solution or update? Or can i fix this myself?
Read something about resetting RAM etc as well. But since my computer is new, I dont think that'll do it.
    Thank you very much.

I had the bluetooth problem where my MacBook Pro wouldn't reconnect to my external bluetooth keyboard after the initial connect when I upgraded to Yosemite. I found the solution in another thread from nashntk:  "everything were solved by resetting SMC Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)."
So far, the SMC reset fixed all of my bluetooth issues after the Yosemite upgrade. And it seems to be an ongoing solution as one reset has allowed me to disconnect and reconnect again multiple times.

  • Problem Yosemite/Photoshop CS6 and Wacom

    Hello,
since the update from Mountain lion to Yosemite I have some problems with my Wacom intuos3 in Photoshop CS6.
    iMac (27 Zoll, Mitte 2011)
    3,1 GHz intel Core
    12 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
AMD Radeon HD 6970M 2048 MB
It reacts slowly and sometimes not. I installed the actual driver and a PS plugin.
    Wacom Treiber (WacomTablet_6.3.10w2.dmg)
    PS CS6 Plug-in (WhiteWindowWorkaround.plugin1_0_6)
After the plugin everything was fine.
But i needed a actual java (8) version for Illustrator CS6 and new problems appear.
If I work faster in PS (more lines/drawing) the Pen reacts delayed. Sometimes not.
I hope someone understands my problem. I´m happy for every help. At the moment working in PS is a little bit difficult.

  • Facetime HD Camera (Problem) - Yosemite 10.10.1

I made a video to show a step by step on the issue.
There seems to be an issue with Flash and the MacBooks internal camera when attempting to use it. There is a considerable lag effect happening, I too thought it was a lighting issue and improved my indoor lighting as well as got apps to control the settings. I have reinstalled OS X and rebooted several times, and the the problem still occurs.
On reboot the camera seems to be fine, as well as when opening a browser, it shows no change. As soon as I open a site that attempts to utilize the camera via flash, the camera seems to start its frame rate/lag effect.
I do not recall this occurring before the Yosemite update. Any help on this issue would be awesome as well as hearing from Apple's Technical Staff on what is being done to correct this issue. I will also be contacting Adobe to see what they are trying to do about this or if they are even aware there is a problem.
    I am running:
    MacBook Pro (retina, late 2013)
    OSX Yosemite 10.10.1
    Flash ver. 16.0.0.257
    Forgive my babbling...  http://www.filedropper.com/macprofacetimehdcameraissue

Further messing around, finds that if I quit the browser and then open up the Activity Monitor, search for AppleCameraAssistant and quit it. It then auto restarts the process and the camera is functioning normally, again.
I uninstalled Flash and used Chrome, as it has a built in Flash Player from what I'm told. I then return to the same site (e.g. chatroulette.com) and have no issues.
Anyone have insight into what is going wonky. I know, I know, "just use Chrome and don't install Flash"... that may be a good point, but there should be a fix so one can use the normal Apple products, with the flash plugin.

  • Handsoff macbook air problem yosemite

hi, I have a macbook air 2011 and yosemite but the handsoff dont enable... I try ALL OF tips of the world but nothing.. why apple decide to dont support this mac?

Just to post an update: I noticed that if I reboot my Macbook with the HDMI plugged in, sound comes up normally.  The problem starts to happen when I unplug the HDMI cable (i.e. to take my Macbook with me to work) and plug it back in.  Anyways, I've been doing this ever since I bought this Mac and never had the issue when using Mavericks.

  • Lightroom 5 Upgrade Problem (Yosemite?)

    Hey there,
I just bought a new Mac and installed my Lightroom 3 without a problem. When I tried to install the Lightroom 5 upgrade (from a DVD), the installing process also seemed to work without any problem, but Lightroom 5 did not appear anywhere.
Could this be a Yosemite issue? And if so: What can I do?
    Thanks in advance!
    Nadine

Calmc what error message do you receive when you try to open Photoshop Lightroom?  Also which operating system are you using?
Also if you wish to download a copy of Lightroom 5 you can download the installation files from http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop_lightroom&promoid&promoid=DT EML.  You will be prompted to enter your serial number when you open the software.

  • Mac Pro Late 2008 1GB LAN Problem Yosemite

In work i have 20 Mac Pro Late 2008 and 5 Mac Pro Early 2013 all connected to server with 1GB LAN speed so all work on 1GB speed
All Mac Pro users connect to server folder for work
I found one **** of annoying problem
i did speed test using "LAN Speed Test" for writing and reading purpose on same folder they use in the server since users with Mac yosemite complains of slowness while they work
In the machines running OS X 10.8.5 i run LAN Speed Test and it gives writing 1GB and reading 1GB
In the machines running OS X 10.10.2 i run LAN Speed Test and it gives writing 100MB and reading 1GB
I was confused so i test on all machines with mac yosemite and they show all the same results
so i took my MacBook Pro Mid 2009 running OS X 10.10.2 and plugin the LAN cable from machines running OS X 10.8.5 (since they show 1GB for R/W) and run the test again ..... i was shocked that it gives me the same results 100MB writing and 1GB reading
Formatted my MacBook Pro to OS X 10.9.5 and it gave me same problem, then formatted to 10.8.5 and it gave me 1GB R/W
    Now im 1000% sure its OS X 10.10 & 10.9 problem
Is there any solution regards this problem since i googled without results?

I know the difference of MB/s and Mb/s heres the test for you

  • Mirrored Display Problem Yosemite

    Hi All
So since Yosemite, when I connect an external monitor to my 15" MBP Retina and mirror the displays it has an unexpected effect on the machine. All works fine until you detach the monitor and reboot the macbook.
At that point, the resolution of the macbook login screen is reset to something far smaller (feels like 800x600). When you login, the desktop resolution is ok. But the login screen resolution stays effected until you reset the PRAM of the macbook. But as soon as you connect the external mirrored display again, the problem resurfaces.
I've confirmed this on the multiple machines (with different monitors)
I've not seen anything on the forums on this. Its really more of an annoyance, but its there and reproducible.
    Anyone else seen it?
    Thanks
    Ken

Thanks for the question. Based on what you stated, it seems like mail is not receiving emails. Is it sending emails? I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help you resolve or isolate the issue.

  • Permission problem - Yosemite 10.10.1

Hello. Can anyone assist me with a potential issue I am experiencing on my MacPro (Late 2013)?
I have multiple external drives connected to my computer, either by the Thunderbolt 2 connection or via a Thunderbolt-to-FireWire adapter. My main external storage is a Promise RAID configured as a RAID6 device.
The majority of my drives (which are formatted as Mac OS Extended (Journaled) are showing unusual permissions in the Get Info window. Some drives (like the main partition on my RAID) indicate:
whereas others (including my startup internal flash drive) indicate:
One of my FW drives is used for TimeMachine, and it appears to have the proper permissions:
I have upgraded my computer and OS over the years, most recently when I got my new MacPro several months ago (upgraded from Lion).
I am not sure of the significance of this issue, which I have never seen on previous OS versions that I have run. It is an occasional minor issue when I try to move data in/out of my RAID, as it asks me for an administrator password. I should note that I am the administrator of the computer. There is only one other user, which I use as a test account. There is not much in the user folder for that account.
I don't understand why there are so many different groups here (staff, wheel, admin) depending on the drive. I would like to get my permissions back in order for all of my drives, but I don't want to make any mistakes during this process. I am comfortable using the Terminal and with basic UNIX commands. I did see other posts for correcting permissions on one's user folder, but nothing about correcting them on external drives, so I am at a loss here.
Any assistance from those familiar with this issue would be most appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Stu

Wonder if you are having something like this problem:
Here is a discussion about the "Fetching..." name in Sharing & Permissions:
Strange User Permissions/Group OS X Lion
Basically it seems that if you're not a member of certain group(s) this can happen, and in the above discussion they talked about user not being in the "staff" group and how to add it.  See the comments by Andrew Dumke at 2:23pm on Aug 26, 2011 on how to use the "id" and "dscl" commands to find out your user id and what groups you're a member of and how to add your userid to another group like staff.
    Good luck...

This is the correct method. Was the Mac brand new or a used Mac?

  • After IOS 8 upgrade on phone, documents no longer synch in Pages.  I find out subsequently that when I upgraded it gave me iCloud Drive, which won't synch unless my computer has OSX Yosemite, which isn't available.  Apple says they can't get me back.

Apple upgraded me to a new IOS that has now eliminated my ability to synch Pages docs which I've been using quite successfully.  So now every time work in pages it tells me that my documents won't synch and to "upgrade to OSX Yosemite."  The problem:  Yosemite IS NOT AVAILABLE yet.  Will they let me go back to the old way until Yosemite is available?  No they will not.  I'm stuck with devices that won't work together.  I recall no warning that by upgrading to IOS8 would mess up my ability to use my devices as intended -- that my devices would be less compatible.  I feel duped and manipulated.  And to clarify, I only updated on my phone.  Once I saw (subsequent to update) that my synching of docs would no longer work, I decided not to upgrade my iPad mini.  But guess what -- just updating my iPhone has now changed me to iCloud Drive and that means that all of my devices are incompatible.

That happened to me. I rebooted and now my docs are back again.

  • CINEWARE EXTREMELY SLOW after update AE 13.2 and Yosemite 10.10.2

Hi everybody, I updated AE (13.2.0.49) and OSX (10.10.2) and CINEWARE got extremely slow even If i try to open a basic simple .C4D project file (just 1 cube with no material, lights or others)
I think the updates has problems! Anyone knows something more about that?
    Thx

There are a couple of bugs in the 13.2 version of Cineware, but speed issues weren't really one of them that I recall seeing. Considering the amount of problems Yosemite is causing folks with and without Adobe software, I'd be pretty willing to place the blame on Yosemite. It's like the Windows Vista of Mac OSX...
There is an update coming to After Effects this spring that will likely include an update to Cineware to fix some of the bugs. And hopefully it will work around some of Yosemite's issues too.
