Problemas Adobe Reader 6.0.1

Os explico mis problemas, a ver si alguien, puede ayudarme:
1º.-Cuando instalé el Adobe Reader 6.0.1 me dió el siguiente mensaje "Error al cargar el plug-in "PPKLite.api". El plug-in no pudo cargarse". Cada vez que abro el programa me dice lo mismo.
2º.-No puedo abrir archivos PDF desde internet. Lo arreglo descargándolos y abriéndolos después.
3º.-No puedo abrir archivos .fdf.
Mi sistema operativo es Win98SE. Gracias.

  • Printing problem Adobe Reader 9.3.0 and Windows 7 64bit

    Good morning:
I cannot print a PDF to my Toshiba E-Studio165 copier (print through router).  The data is sent to my E-Studio and the data light blinks and the copier starts but nothing prints.
I can print the same PDF to an old Brother HL-5140 that is connected via USB.
At first I thought there might be a document converter problem but as I can print to 1 printer but not the other that might not be the situation.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.
    David

Many thanks for your helpful advices!
Now I know, that after 9.3.0 first must be installed 9.3.1 and second 9.3.2. I see, this was the error and not the en_US/german problem.
I have prepared 3 screenshots of my Windows 7, to show you, that I have 3 Adobe Readers in my Adobe folder under C:\Program Files (x86).
Please see snap0003.jpg with the three Adobe Readers. In snap0004.jpg can you see my Add or Remove Programs: Adobe Reader is not existing.
In snap0005.jpg is a screenshot from Secunia PSI. I had the Adobe Reader 9.3.0 and they offer me the update to 9.3.2! That brings me an update error.
But my problem is, how can I uninstall 2 of 3 Adobe Readers. What can you say me to this problem?

  • Print problems Adobe Reader XI

During years I could print a pdf file directly pushing the print button on this file. If I push now the print button on every pdf file, a new window is directly opening only with a save button and only this saved pdf file is printable. This way s very inconvenient. All the pdf files which I used didn´t have a key word  or password. Is there a problem in the settings in Adobe Reader self?

I cannot read the German words in your screen shot.
The Advanced button is the English name for a button on the Print Panel. The print panel is exactly what you sent in your screen shot, the window that comes when using PRINT.
You see in the panel a printer names, then a line of 2 buttons. The LAST button is the button which, in English, is labelled Advanced. Click it. Look for an option that might in English mean print to file. Turn it OFF.

  • Problem adobe reader (0:104)

Adobe Reader x automatically updated successfully this morn.  Opening a document today - pop up msg above.  Any ideas what this means please?  I have Windows Vista and upgraded Microsoft 2010.

I have tried multiple things, changing security settings, associating Reader instead of Adobe Acrobat 7, etc... finally found an answer on the Adobe site. Unfortunately its hidden and took me an hour to find so I thought I'd share because it finally allowed me to view PDFS from links on-line. The source is: http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/display-pdf-browser-acrobat-xi.html.
Open Internet Explorer, and choose Tools > Manage Add-ons.
Under Add-on Types, select Toolbars And Extensions.
In the Show menu, select All Add-ons.
Select All Add-ons from the Show menu in the Manage Add-ons dialog box.
In the list of add-ons, select Adobe PDF Reader.
Note:  If you do not see the Adobe PDF Reader add-on, try the other options on the menu. For example, on some systems, the add-on appears when you select Run Without Permission.
Click the Enable or Disable button (it toggles depending on the status of the selected add-on):
Enable sets the Adobe PDF Reader add-on to open PDFs in the browser.
Disable turns off the add-on so it does not open PDFs in the browser.
    GOOD LUCK!!

  • Problem Adobe Reader 9.34

    Problem:
for CD produktion we make links from a PDF file to other PDF files and to Word data files.
If you click the linked button of the Word file, the programme Word and the date file opens
automatically. We generate the links with the full version of Adobe Acrobat 9.34.
If you chose the latest version Acrobat Reader 9.34 you will get an error message by clicking
the Word button. The links to the PDF files work.
    Error Message for Word files:
filename can not be found. Make sure, that the filename is correct and retry again.
If you push the ok button another error message comes:
.../Wordfile/data file can not be opend
There is no problem, when you take a lower Reader version.
    Thank you

I have sent a bug report to adobe concerning this.

  • 32-bit schroot problem: Adobe Reader

I'm trying to install Adobe Acrobat Reader on my 64-bit system, but have run into a problem.  I've installed a 32-bit chroot system, since the program is 32-bit only, and have downloaded the installer.  When I use schroot -p AdbeRdr9.1.2-1_i486linux_enu.bin, it returns this error:
E: boost::filesystem::create_directory: No such file or directory: "/var/lib/schroot/mount/Arch32-78c64bc2-1bcd-4c7a-9359-dd8661dfaef4/opt/arch32/proc"
    E: Arch32-78c64bc2-1bcd-4c7a-9359-dd8661dfaef4: Chroot setup failed: stage=setup-start
As far as I'm aware, my mount points in /etc/schroot/mount-arch32 are correct:
    # mount.defaults: static file system information for chroots.
    # Note that the mount point will be prefixed by the chroot path
    # (CHROOT_PATH)
    # <file system> <mount point> <type> <options> <dump> <pass>
    proc /opt/arch32/proc proc defaults 0 0
    /dev /opt/arch32/dev none rw,bind 0 0
    #/dev/pts /dev/pts none rw,bind 0 0
    tmpfs /opt/arch32/dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0
    /sys /opt/arch32/sys none rw,bind 0 0
    /tmp /opt/arch32/tmp none rw,bind 0 0
    /home /opt/arch32/home none rw,bind 0 0
    /var/lib/dbus /opt/arch32/var/lib/dbus none rw,bind 0 0
It seems like the installer is trying to create a directory for its files in the chroot system's /proc directory, but can't find or mount it?
Could anyone please shed some light into this?  No amount of Google Fu was effective in destroying this error.

Hey, just registered because I recently had the same headache and was able to solve it, and I figured I'd better help you out too Unfortunately, this is NOT correct, it looks correct and I made the same exact error but the "file system" and "mount points" must be switched. File system is the actual part of your HD that is being mounted and mount point is "where" it's mounted for schroot. Here's a fixed version:
    # mount.defaults: static file system information for chroots.
    # Note that the mount point will be prefixed by the chroot path
    # (CHROOT_PATH)
    # <file system> <mount point> <type> <options> <dump> <pass>
    /opt/arch32/proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
    /opt/arch32/dev /dev none rw,bind 0 0
    #/dev/pts /dev/pts none rw,bind 0 0
    /opt/arch32/dev/shm /tmpf tmpfs defaults 0 0
    /opt/arch32/sys /sys none rw,bind 0 0
    /opt/arch32/tmp /tmp none rw,bind 0 0
    /opt/arch32/home /home none rw,bind 0 0
    /opt/arch32/var/lib/dbus /var/lib/dbus none rw,bind 0 0
Hopefully this should fix your issue!(it worked for me in any case)

  • Adobe Reader/Safari Problems

When I tried to use my Mac (Snow Leopard) to access my bank statement, I got a message that I needed to download Adobe Reader to view the statement. I already had Adobe Reader, so I tried to update it, but I got an error message (1852). I tried reinstalling and got the Installation Successful message. I checked the Internet Plugins in the Library, and the Adobe PDF Viewer Plugin was there, but I didn't see it in the Installed Plugins for Safari. I'm able to view existing PDFs with Adobe Reader, but I still can't read the bank statement on my my Mac; it works fine on our Ubuntu (Linux) computer! I also found another website that requires Adobe Reader where I was not able to view anything!
I did find this statement in an Adobe Advisory that may explain the problem:
"Adobe Reader plug-in and Acrobat plug-in are not compatible with the Safari 5.1 browser that
shipped with Mac OS X 10.7 and for 10.6. The Adobe Reader and Acrobat standalone applications
are unaffected and Safari 5.1 renders PDF documents natively. However, the Adobe Reader and
Acrobat browser plug-ins will not function as expected in LiveCycle and Acrobat workflows that
require either plug-in to render PDF documents in Safari 5.1." (http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/908/cpsid_90885.html)
I tried reinstalling from FireFox, but I didn't have any success with that either! Anyone have any ideas about how to fix this?

I checked the Internet Plugins in the Library, and the Adobe PDF Viewer Plugin was there, but I didn't see it in the Installed Plugins for Safari.
In the "Installed Plug-ins" display it would be listed as "Adobe Acrobat Plug-in, Version 10.1.2".
I assume you remembered to relaunch Safari after you installed the plugin.

  • Adobe Reader 8.1.2 Crash on Launch Mac OS 10.4.11

I'm experiencing a problem where Adobe Reader fails to launch on my system (MacBook Pro Core2Duo). I have searched the forums for advice, trashed everything I could find with the Adobe moniker, downloaded and reinstalled Adobe Reader 8.1.2, both replaced and disabled the "update" plug-in, and still no joy. Are there any known incompatibilities that I might be missing? After over an hour of searching I have yet to find a resolution.

I am having a very similar problem, with a few wrinkles.
Adobe Reader 8.1.2 works fine under the root user, and also under another non-admin user.
Other users the same problem, Adobe Reader crashes after launch.
I made a new user account with admin privileges, Reader crashes almost immediately after launch. I changed the account to a non-admin user, and it still crashed.
    I have repaired permissions.
    Very strange problem.
MacBook Pro, OS 10.5.2, 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM.

  • What wrong with Adobe Reader 9.1?

"Running Adobe acrobat / reader can not be used in a Web browser to view pdf files, you need adobe acrobat / reader 8 or 9, please type the end and then try again"
I have installed Adobe Reader 9.3 Traditional Chinese version on my XP with SP3.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what cause the problem and how to fix it?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions

I translate from traditional chinese into English, so there is no screenshot for English version.
Could you please try to understand? I have typed what it said.
On the other hand, when I open the web site using my notebook, the PDF file could be opened without any problem, Adobe Reader 9.3 Chinese Traditional is also installed on notebook, which is the same version for my desktop.
    Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions

  • HT2506 I prefer Preview as my default reader. Somehow Adobe Reader has locked itself as the default. How do I reset back to Preview?

I prefer Preview as my default reader. Somehow Adobe Reader has locked itself as the default. How do I reset back to Preview?

First order of priority - Establish what platform is in use. In this case: MacBook Air with Trac Pad, no Mouse.
Second - Establish Operating System in use. In this case: OX 10.8.3.
Third - Establish, as best as you are able, the parameters in which you have been attempting a work-around and, to include mention of, any other secondary software program capable of becoming a default other than, in this case, Preview.
Fourth - State the problem: Adobe Reader somehow automatically has become the Default PDF viewer.
Here's my answer: When a trac pad not a mouse is in use - Select the PDF you will be opening; don't open it, Select it. At this juncture, tap COMMAND - I (Unfortunately Apple has no Drop Down Menu motion to achieve this operation that I can determine); at this point you will get this:
Click on "Open with: " If you see Adobe Reader there in lies the problem. So, simply click the "up/down" arrows on the Selection Window, and from there click on Preview. From there on Preview will be your Default program.
Thank you to everyone who helped in reply to my initial query.

while printing the PDF File, windows  printers are not showing in the printer list. Where as windows printers are working in Word/Wordpad/notepad.

    Same Problem, Adobe Reader 11.0.06
The printer I need is not in the list.
It works fine for everything else, It is directly plugged into my computer, it shows in the services box as a printer I have.
When I go to print, its not there.....
I have 3 others, they are there.  But I need a bigger 11x17 paper so I print to a different printer.
It will not let me make it my default ?  So cant try that.
I have used the Adobe removal tool and reinstalled with no luck
    Any thoughts ??
Where do I download an order working version of Adobe Reader ?

I have Adobe Reader and I use Widows 7.  I had used the Adobe Reader with no problems, however, just recently, when I tried to open the program, I got the message "because of compatibility problems, Adobe Reader cannot open in protected mode", so I clicked the option to allow it to open without protected mode, and I keep getting the message "Adobe Reader failed to download its core DLL".  How can I fix this?  Thanks
