  • Problemas con el audio de Adobe Premiere Pro. CS5.5

    Hola!
Recientemente adquirí el programa Adobe Premiere Pro. versión CS5.5. He echo vídeos, ediciones, en fin cosas sencillas.
    Gracias anticipadamente.

yea i am using the right sequence
here are 4 screen shots of 2 different things i was editing, both used to record my xbox 360 with Hauppauge, Seems adobe is the only program playing the video file with the audio out of sync/mixed up

The Yellow Devil May Cry video is the video with the audio problem,
The metal gear rising video is red because of the pic above it, and the sound works ok on that, infact that video is finished and uploaded to youtube now.

  • Export problems with relation to audio in Adobe Premiere Pro HELP!!

I have been working on a school assignment for media on Adobe Premiere  Pro CC and have come across a very frustrating issue that I have no idea about how to solve. it goes under the category of a 'technical difficulty'.
As I have alot of interviews and talking in my project for my Documentary I am shooting on Bullying for my Current Affair I have alot of audio to deal with and with my Rode VideoMic Pro when in conversation in the midst of an interview there is a constant 'hiss and crackle' that one can hear when watching hence I have used the audio affect of "DeNoiser" to get rid of this and it seems to work great on my workflow in my sequence in Premiere as I have reduced most clips to -15Db's. But when I export my project as I have done several times, the 'Denoiser' affect doesn't work for the first 3 seconds + for all clips that I have used to affect for. At the start of all the clips used with the affect there is a constant hiss and crackle and after 3 seconds it fades out??? Please help me with this very unusual problem as I want this to be a fantastic film on your fantastic software!
    Thanks

I would not return Adobe, I would return the camera, it is not suited for editing. If you insist on editing that material and end up with pretty crappy results, play it out from a DVD player into a good tape based DV video camera thru analog in and pass it thru to firewire for capture.
To put it another way, when maximum achievable fidelity of video is 100, your camera is at 10% due to the heavy MPEG compression. You need to convert that to DV and you are left with around 8% due to DV compression, you then need to encode it again to MPEG and you end up with less than 1% out of a possible 100.

  • Audio Dropout Adobe premiere pro cc(2014) "adobe player"

I'm having the following problems with my adobe premiere pr cc 2014. I'm in the middle of a big documentary for Dutch Television. Because of the really buggy adobe premiere I can't work. The director gets frustrated and we can't work fast. I need to restart frequently but still the problem persist. Whenever I hit the space button to play I get audio dropouts and the software freezes and doesn't work well.
-Audio dropouts, they happen randomly and quite often. It happens on a relatively powerful macbook pro r (2.7 ghz i7, 16gb ram, ssd hard drive, usb 3.0 external hd.
    - Bins take ages to load with thumbnails. Instead we see the grey square. It keeps on happening throughout the editing session.
    - Multicam, when playing timeline, sometimes it doesn't stop when prompted and it keeps on playing for a random amount of time.
I really need help. I can't seem to find the previous version of adobe anymore. Can I please have the previous version and can you convert my current project to work with the previous version.  Help me please,  Help me please!!, Adobe help. Help your client!Mitch W@

Hey Mitch, Thanx for your reply.
I don't it's false. The reason for that is whenever I get that "audio dropout" event, adobe reacts really slow and I can't edit fluently.
I've been busy the whole day trying to figure out what the problem is. I contacted adobe support and the remotely accessed my computer and see for themselves.
We opened the activity monitor to see what's happening. Monitoring system memory revealed something interesting. The free memory dropped low after working for 20 minutes. when the "swap used" reached 5gb I got an "audio dropped" event. So we purged the memory with the terminal application.
I restarted my computer and reopened Adobe premiere pro CC and started editing. After a few minutes it gave me an audio drop event again. Whenever I get them, premiere reacts slowly.

  • Why can't I drag in audio in Adobe Premiere Pro CC?

I am currently editing a film in Premiere and trying to drag in a few clips that contain both audio and video. They were shot on a 5D Mark II and are .MOV files. When dragging them from the media browser to my timeline, the video is dropped but the audio just doesn't show up. I know for a fact it is there, as the Source box shows both the audio and video when I play from it. I've never had this problem before, is there a solution?

  • 5.1 audio in Adobe Premiere Pro CS5

I've got a Sequence (5.1 audio). I checked "Match Sequence Settings" in the "Export Settings" window when I was about to output the final video. The problem now is that in the "Export Settings" it says:
    1920x1080......etc......
    48000 Hz, Stereo
STEREO? That means I CANNOT OUTPUT A VIDEO WITH 5.1 AUDIO?
If I really cannot output it, then what preset should I choose? Or should I change a software? What about all the movies edited by Premiere Pro?
If I can, then why it says "Stereo"?
    Do I need some extentions?
BTW, 5.1 audio in After Effects and Soundbooth?

Harm has given you the reason for the Stereo in the output.
Now, I do not use Soundbooth, but one can easily edit 6-channel (most often seen as 5.1) Audio in Audition, BUT then to output to something that will contain all of those channels, one must choose such an output, say WMA. However, that will limit the uses, i.e. no DVD/BD directly. One MUST use an Encoder, such as the SurCode, to produce a DD 5.1 SS AC3 for the primary Audio stream in DVD/BD (or as a supplemental Audio stream, if one has done a 2-channel primary), or they can do something like DTS, but that can ONLY be a supplemental Audio stream in DVD/BD.
For Encoders, one can easily use the Minnetonka Audio SurCode plug-in for PrPro, a SurCode, or similar, stand-alone Encoder, or stand-alone DTS (fill in any other DVD/BD compliant supplemental Aduio stream here) Encoder.
    Good luck,
    Hunt
PS - for DVD/BD, there are only two types of Audio steam allowed for the primary stream - PCM/WAV, or DD 5.1 SS AC3. Supplemental Audio streams are a bit more open, though most will be player dependent. If you do DTS, for instance, your client might, or might not, be able to fully appreciate that.

  • Problem with video playback in adobe premiere pro CS4

Whevener i am to put something into my video. Via it be either A fraps recorded video or a video shot by my camera... i put it in the library and drag it to the stage. then when i play it in Premiere the video just stays as a still picture but the audio plays. It does this with 2 methods i tried (Fraps and my Photosmart M537 Camera). I asked My uncle (who had the same problems with CS3) and he said that hes pretty sure theres something wrong with the Codec. I think thats it because when i put in my video that i had recorded with Hypercam 2. it worked fine. Could anybody please help me?

1 - search the forum for fraps - many problems, few successes
2 - what CODEC is used for your Photosmart M537 Camera?
If that is a STILL camera which has a video mode, you most likely need to convert to DV AVI type 2 with 16bit 48khz sound

  • Adobe Premiere Pro audio distortion

    Hi,
I have Adobe Premiere CS2 and some audio distortion problems. I captured a footage from my Sony DV Digital-8 camcorder. It's a standard DV footage with 16-bit PCM audio. When audio is nearly-peaking (not peaking), it gets distorted in Premiere, but doesn't in other applications (VirtualDub, Media Player Classic, Windows Media Player, mplayer). I'm sure this is because an internal conversion (called conforming) from 16-bit PCM to 32-bit floating point PCM. Project Setting of the Audio Track is 48000Hz 32bit floating point - Stereo for a DV project, despites DV standard supports 16 or 12 bit Audio tracks. In user manual they write the following:
"For maximum editing performance and audio quality, Adobe Premiere Pro processes each audio channel, including audio channels in video clips, as 32-bit floating-point data at the project’s sample rate. To do this it must conform certain types of audio to match the 32-bit format and the project sample rate."
Well, if I'm a professional video editor, I can (and have the right to) decide whether which sample rate and bit-depth are the best for me, but they don't let me set audio other than the default, there is no option like bit-depth available not even when creating a NEW project. No problem if Adobe's genius developers thought 32-bit mixing provides much more quality, but if they forget to implement 16-bit to 32-bit internal conversion correctly, please let me decide to use at least a fallback method.
    Thanks for your help
    stringZ

Just looking at the waveform confirmed my initial reaction: Way, way
oversteered. Everything is clipped and your best approach is to
reshoot. That some players can handle this seriously mistreated audio
may be caused by audio limiters. They should, otherwise you would blow
    up your speakers.
Well, you can say that and if this sample was a music maximized with compressors, it would distort too. Sony Digital-8 camcorder has an internal limiter, so only soft-peaking can occur, but no serious distortion. Media Players (eg. mplayer) don't have limiters unless you specify an external limiter filter. I've already told this isn't the clip you want me to re-shoot. This is a sample I created to show you the problem. I sent this to one of my friends who has Ulead MediaStudio Pro 7.0. It doesn't distort there either. Have you tried loading it to an audio editor like Audacity or Adobe Audition? You can see no hard-peaking or distortion if you zoom in the waveform.
Waveform at 00:00:00:21. No distortion, only high levels can be seen on this waveform.
Waveform after 00:00:00:21. Soft peaking in right (bottom) channel.
I'd appreciate if someone took this seriously instead of repeating "reshoot it" and "high levels".

  • How do I synchronize multiple *sequential* clips using audio waveforms in Premiere Pro CC?

I recorded a concert at my kids' school.  I ended up with:
Video in six separate clips (video+audio) from my Canon 5D Mark III camera
A single audio clip from my Zoom H4n recorder
The 5D Mark III can only record clips of up to 4GB in size, and clips 30 minutes in length.  The clips broken up by the 4GB size limit are adjacent to each other, but the clips broken up by the 30-minute limit have a stop-pause-restart gap of a few second.
On past such projects, I have used PluralEyes 3.0 to synchronize the clips.  But PluralEyes converts each stereo audio track into dual mono tracks, which I don't like.
I just happened upon this video:  http://tv.adobe.com/watch/learn-premiere-pro-cc/merge-clips-automatically-using-audio-wave forms/?t=0  It shows how to synchronize a single video+audio clip with another audio clip.  It also shows how to synchromize multiple concurrent video+audio clips with another audio clip, for multi-camera editing.  But it doesn't show how to synchronize multiple sequential video+audio clips, as I got from my Canon 5D Mark III.
It seems that every time I select multiple video clips, the Synchronize item in the pop-up menu is disabled.  When I select only the first video clip and the full-duration audio clip, I can synchronize them with audio waveforms.  But then when I try to select the second video clip and the full-duration audio clip and synchronize them, it breaks the sync of the first video cilp
Can Premiere Pro CC synchronize multiple sequential video clips using the audio waveform method?
I am running Premiere Pro CC version 7.2.1 (4).
    Thanks.

I'm an editing newbie but this was the very first task I needed to do, i.e. align multiple video clips with a single audio track. My setup is similar. I'm shooting with a Canon 70D, which breaks up video into 4gb clips, which are continuous and easy to align end to end. But the 70D like the 5D only shoots for 30 minutes continuously, so a second or two is lost hitting record again. My external audio was recorded continuously with a camera mounted Tascam (like a zoom) with a line in to the camera. So, in theory, the audio should be the same on the external audio and the audio associated with the video clips, which probably helps the software identify the identical wave forms.
I found that I could roughly align the video clips based on the audio wave forms and then "synchronize" the audio as shown in the video (Merge clips automatically using audio waveforms | Adobe Premiere Pro CC tutorials). I found that this aligned the audio perfectly but separated the video from its associated audio track. But it's easy to select the video and snap it back into alignment with its audio. While it would be nice to have everything merge automatically, using synchronize sequentially did not take much time.
    Hope that all makes sense.

  • Adobe Premiere Pro Keyframes.

    Hi,
I've been having some problems with animating photos in Adobe Premiere Pro CS4. I want to slide an image in from the right so I set the horizontal position value for the first so the photo starts out of the frame (roughly 2500) For the first keyframe I set it to 960.. so far so good. For the third keyframe I want to slow it right down and continue sliding in, so I move the timeline 2 or 3 seconds on and set the horizontal position value to 800. This is where it goes wrong - the photo doesn't stop at 800, instead it continues to around 686 and then goes back to 800. It's got something to do with the graph and the little lines that can be adjusted in the Program Sequence window that control interpolation (I think) but I can't figure it out. I think it can be done manually but it's time consuming, fiddly and frustrating.
Can anyone help? I've attached an image and \i've circled the part where I'm ahving trouble. It's these icons that are causing the problem I think
    Thanks

I offered up some suggestions in your other post (ahem), but what you're witnessing is the nefarious "boomerang effect". It's because your spatial keyframes default to some sort of bezier interpolation, when what you likely need for your application is linear interpolation (unless you're crafty with the direction control handles for each keyframe).
The following video tutorial is for After Effects, so some of the specifics are different, but the principles are the same since motion control works the same in Premiere Pro. Check it out, and I think most of your questions will be answered...

  • Keine Sprachanalyse in Adobe Premiere Pro CS5

    Hallo @ll,

  • Audio-Problem with Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014 by using long Clips in AVC-Intra Codec (4Gb Border)

    Hello
We own a Panasonic camera (AJ-PX5000G) and we film in 1080p50 with the AVC-Intra100 Codec. When importing longer clips in Premiere Pro, the video is fully loaded, but the waveform of the sound ends at the Time Code 00:02:28:35.
Sometimes the sound could be played after this Timecode but otherwise there is no audio. Even if we use the same clip several times we see that it works sometimes and sometimes not. It looks random.
We also tried to import the Clips with Adobe Prelude directly from the P2-Card but there are the same problems.
The Clips in 1080p50 AVC-Intra100 have a bitrate of 227Mbps. After 2 Minutes and 28 Seconds 4Gb are written on the P2-Card and the Camera starts a new picture file and 4 sound files..
It looks like Adobe Premiere Pro has problems with the correct relation of the files that all get together to one clip.
Is there anybody who can confirm this problem? Can anybody help me with this Premiere Problem?

  • How do you export 4 discrete mono audio tracks with video from Adobe Premiere Pro 4/Adobe Encoder?

I've posted this question in different terms a few times and have not had an answer.  I can't find the answer on the Premiere Pro support site either (which makes me think that a simple solution doesn't exist)
We use adobe premiere pro 4.  We capture DVCAM tapes with 4 discrete audio channels.  When we export the video using adobe encoder, the result is stereo tracks with the discrete audio channels mixed together which is completly useless to us.  When I select Mono for the output settings, two channels of audio are mixed into one audio channel.  Also useless.
When capturing the clip, we always use the mono timeline and modify the clips to mono. We can edit the discrete audio channels but when we export the video, the audio is mixed down.
this is the problem.  Each of our  4 audio channels contain a different language of dialogue.  When exported, these 4 get mixed down to 2 mixed channels blending of course the language.
Can Premiere Pro 4 export discrete mono audio channels?  How do you do it?
Does version 6 have the ability to export 4 discrete mono channels?

    Hi Steve,
Important info is missing from your post - what format are you wanting to export to, and for what purpose? We need to know how the exported file is intended to be used. Who's going to view it, using what gear? Is it for another editor to work with? End user viewing?
    Thanks
