Hellos, I have a fairly compelling problem for my photos, a task named com.apple.photomodel (found in Activity Monitor) takes me 100% of my CPU power and is thus raise the temperature of my mac to about 90 ° C, the only way to finish and force out the task with activity monitor, but each reopening photos (new application) returns the task. I have tried to repair the library, 3 reboots and openings with other photo libraries, but nothing to do the task returns after each opening pictures and if I can wait a (about 3-4min) kernel task packages and also takes 85% of the processor. Incidentally the only solution to exit photos is force quit the application.

Problème avec photos dans mail IPAD - Mail probleme with picture on IPAD
Bonjour,
Merci,
Raphaël
Hello,
I have an email problem with picture sent and received from on my IPAD3 to an other IPAD3.
When I send an email with a picture from one of my albums, the receiver don't receive /open the good picture on his IPAD. But in a PC the good picture has received. The picture opened is one of his albums.
The opposite is the same, when I receive an email with picture from an IPAD, a wrong picture is opened.
I know some people with the same problem.
What can I do ?
Best regards,
RaphaelI am having the same problem and it is even bigger.
When opening a 1-page PDF in iBooks and sending it via mail it is sent inline as preview, but the recipient cannot open the file anymore. Also on iPad and iPhone there is no "open in" possible.
Somehow the mail app does destroy the file. What is going wrong? -

!maestro22 wrote:

Crashing Lion com.apple.NVDAResman(7.0.4)
It has become painfully apparent from the same and similar nvidia driver crash that lion has broken this driver.
I like hundreds (if not thousands) of users am experiencing the same
com.apple.NVDAResman(7.0.4) blah, blah, blah.
I haven't posted the rest of the error report here, because this is a lion window server problem. My laptop reports it several times each day to support, directly after a blackout, with no response, a forced-button-held-shutdown, a reboot, and a click of the exact same broken nvidia driver report.
Please apple, fix this. It happens to three developers in my shop alone----every every day.
You certainly don't want us cursing apple. . .well, we are!Well... There are a lot of issues that started happening after upgrading to Lion.
Googling around you might see there's a LOT of issues regarding this Kernel Panic for Lion users.
I'd apreciate if you could help. here'ss the complete report:

Com.apple.driver.AppleACPIPlatform(1.6) Kernel Panic?
Hi everyone,
I recently updated my 2008 Aluminium MB (2GHz C2D, 4GB Ram) to 10.8. Since then I have had KP reboots several times a day. Attached below problem report.
I have tried resetting NVRAM, updating to 10.8.2 but doesnt help. Can anyone help?
I hope a complete reformat will resolve the problem rather than being a hardware issue?

Lion, MPB, Kernel Panic, com.apple.driver.CoreStorage
Greetings
I started to get Kernel Panics (2 today). I pasted in the last one.
The last one happened while Time Machine was running and Spotlight did indexing.
I cannot say for sure that this was the case when the first kernel panic was thrown but I presume it was.
CPU was pretty busy both times and the fans running full speed.
Anyone any thoughts on what's going on here?
Thanks & Regards,
Stefan

com.apple.iokit.IOACPIFamily 1.4com.sophos.kext.sav - do you use some AV scanner?
if it is set up to block access to infected files and you have some of them somewhere in downloads or mail attachments - it can try to block spotlight and/or time machine access - thus probably causing deadlock in storage subsystem.
Do you know that for now the only malware for Mac is cured by mac os itself? (there was appropriate update)
all known to me Mac antivirus software scans for Windows viruses, which are of no harm to you.
Anyway, boot from DVD and repair HD
otherwise may be one of your's mounted media is dying - try to see smart status for it, espesially bad blocks remapped
trying to read from scratched DVD wery rarely can cause KP also

KERNAL PANIC com.apple.iokit.IOHIDFamily
Hi Apple support/Forum users,
my mac has been crashing for the past 2 weeks, my mac screen is completely frozen, i have to do a manual shutdown (keep finger on button until it turns off). then i proceed to boot in, following kernal panic reports are displayed. I have been doing research of my own and have deciphered that USB hardware is causing this problem because "com.apple.iokit.IOHIDFamily" is common to both reports below, however i am unable to figure out what USB device may be causing this, can you please identify which USB device is causing this problem and what I can do to prevent the problem from reoccuring as i would like to continue using the culprit usb device.
Is there some sort of log file that is generated in connection with the culprit usb device for troubleshooting? Thank you.

Kind Regards,
OnzoSupportMicheal, welcome, go to Applications/Utilities and open Disk Utility select your startup volume in the left hand column, then First Aid from the upper tabs and try Repairing Permissions first.
If that does not resolve the issue then boot up from your install DVD( C key held down). After the installer loads select the English arrow and then Disk Utility from the Utilities in the Main Menu. After Disk Utility loads select your OS X volume from the list on the left, click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If any error message are present (In red) run the repair again until no error messages are present. Restart the computer and see if this resolves the issue.
If not then an Archve and Install seems to be the recommended cure all here for the many issues off this update (OS 10.4.10). You are not alone, just checkout the Tiger Installation section.

Kernel panics: com.apple.iokit.IOUSBAttachedSCSI
I've been experiencing a number of kernel panics lately, about once per day (it always seems to happen while I'm at work). The problem report seems to indicate that the com.apple.iokit.IOUSBAttachedSCSI kernel extension is the culprit, leading me to believe that my backup disk is the issue here. All four USB ports on the rear of my iMac are exhausted with the following peripherals.
- LaCie 2big 4TB external drive, connected via USB 3, configured with RAID 1 and Mac OS Extended (Journaled) file system, passes the disk utility check
- Audioengine D1 external DAC
- Apple Superdrive
- The last USB port is connected to an APC UPS
I did a bit of googling on this problem and found several people recommending booting in safe mode, removing certain peripherals, uninstalling software for peripherals, etc. Safe mode is not really feasible since this only seems to happen once per day. All of these peripherals are essential to my workflow and none have required the installation of third-party software. I quite frankly find it inexcusable that a USB peripheral would be causing daily kernel panics. Has anyone else experienced these problems and have a potential fix? I should also note that all of these peripherals had been working with my iMac for many months without issue before these kernel panics started. Here's the the system configuration information that is generated in the report sent to Apple:

Thunderbolt Bus: iMac, Apple Inc., 23.4I suggest you start by removing the LaCie software, which is not needed to use the drive. You have no other software capable of causing panics. Test.
If there's no improvement, remove the two aftermarket memory modules that you installed and test again.
Any third-party software that doesn't install by drag-and-drop into the Applications folder, and uninstall by drag-and-drop to the Trash, is a system modification.
Whenever you remove system modifications, they must be removed completely, and the only way to do that is to use the uninstallation tool, if any, provided by the developers, or to follow their instructions. If the software has been incompletely removed, you may have to re-download or even reinstall it in order to finish the job.
I never install system modifications myself, and except as stated in this comment, I don't know how to uninstall them. You'll have to do your own research to find that information.
Here are some general guidelines to get you started. Suppose you want to remove something called “BrickMyMac” (a hypothetical example.) First, consult the product's Help menu, if there is one, for instructions. Finding none there, look on the developer's website, say www.brickmymac.com. (That may not be the actual name of the site; if necessary, search the Web for the product name.) If you don’t find anything on the website or in your search, contact the developer. While you're waiting for a response, download BrickMyMac.dmg and open it. There may be an application in there such as “Uninstall BrickMyMac.” If not, open “BrickMyMac.pkg” and look for an Uninstall button. The uninstaller might also be accessed by clicking the Customize button, if there is one.
Back up all data before making any changes.
You will generally have to restart the computer in order to complete an uninstallation. Until you do that, there may be no effect, or unpredictable effects.
If you can’t remove software in any other way, you’ll have to erase and install OS X. Never install any third-party software unless you're sure you know how to uninstall it; otherwise you may create problems that are very hard to solve.
Trying to remove complex system modifications by hunting for files by name often will not work and may make the problem worse. The same goes for "utilities" such as "AppCleaner" and the like that purport to remove software. -

Allez, bon courage. -
