Problème d'écouteurs/headphones problem

Bonsoir,
J'ai un problème quand je branche mes écouteurs sur mon Xperia Z1c, le son sort toujours des haut parleur et quand je les retires ça me fait:
"Oreillette non prise en charge. Utilisez en une autre ou visitez le site d'assistance Sony Mobile pour plus d'information"
Et ça me fait ça avec tout mes casques et écouteur.
Comment remédier à se problème ?

Good evening,
I have a problem when I plug my headphones on my Xperia Z1c, the sound still comes out of the speaker and when I take them out it makes me:
"Headset unsupported. Use another or visit the Sony Support Mobile site for more information"
And it makes me that with all my headphones and headset.
How to remedy the problem?

New micro with the headphone problem fi

I just orded a new Zen micro off of ebay. How can i tell if it is a newer one with the headphone problem fixed? If does not come with the ac charger or the belt clip. Does that tell anything about the age. Any other way to see when my micro was manufactured? When did the headphone problem start getting fixed?

Im not sure that the creative people will honor my warranty, and I was wondering how much would it cost to have the jack problem fixed? It should be a recall, but I suppose that wont happen.

EAR BUD Headphone Problems .. the how to fix them thread!

Hi Guys,
Said I would start off this thread for all those with EAR BUD Headphone problems. Specifically:
- Those with ONE SIDE quieter than the other
- Those with ONE or BOTH sides completely gone.
This would apply to those who own Creative players with Ear Bub Phones supplied or the like.
I think I have a solution to those with "ONE SIDE quieter than the other". If you pull off the rubber gels from the phones you will see a MESH. You might notice an ear wax buildup on the outside of this mesh. Dont bother cleaning it yet. Now you may have to do something you wont like - Use a Jewelers Screwdriver OR some tool equally thin to POP OUT the mesh. Now turn the mesh around. You should now see the problem - HUGE WAX BUILDUP on the under side. NOW clean both sides if you wish, but you might be at a hiding for nothing - I challenge you to get the mesh back in. Not to worry - the phones and sound should now be back as it was in day one. Stick the GELS back on without the mesh. Also behind that mesh maybe a piece of foam. Up to you what you want to do with this ...
It seems this WAX buildup issue on the underside of the mesh in EAR BUDS is a common problem across all makes. I have a Creative, Seinheiser and Philips set - all with the same issue. I did the above on all - now all are back working fine.
Of course you may have to be on WAX lookout more frequently if you cannot get the MESH back in, which maybe the case most of the time. It would seem the very device - the mesh - that protects the buds from WAX buildup is causing a problem itself ..
WITH respect to issues with NO SOUND on either or both sides, this maybe a cracked wire, usually up around the bud end. One thing I have not figured out in most Ear Buds is how to open the casing - over to somebody else for this,

That's a bit trickier. I think I'd select the text from the beginning of the frame wher the continuation starts and cut to the clipboard, then paste at the end of the text in the frame from where it should continue. That frame should now show an overset, and you should have a bunch of empty linked frames where the text was previously located.
Turn on show text threads and find the first out port in front of the now empty frame and click it, then click inside the same frame (or double click the outport should work too). This will break the thread at that frame, but leave the empties threaded together so you can pick up the overset and flow it back in from the other page.

First try a reset: Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons and don’t let go until the screen goes dark and the Apple logo appears (no data will be lost)
If not try this:
Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings

Microphone no longer works on headphones, problem w/ phone not headphones

This is my dilemna: Something is wrong with my headphone jack on my iphone so that my headphones work to listen to music, but no longer to talk on the phone. In other words the microphone on the headphones doesnt work, so people cant hear me. And i know its a problem with the phone because i bought new headphones and people still cant hear me thru the built in headphone microphone. Has anyone else had this problem and if so can the jack be replaced? Im not due for an upgrade for quite awhile and would pay to get headphone jack on my iphone replaced.

Please save the call Apple, visit store answers just to gain points for whatever purpose.

I'm having the same issue. I can listen to music and hear people calling me just fine but they can't hear me through the headphones. *_I cleaned out the headphone jack but still nothing._* Very frustrating.
Perhaps you should read all posts in a thread before criticizing others who volunteer their time to help others when you do none or very little of that yourself here, and especially when the poster being replied to with a "packaged answer" has already tried what you've provided.

Audio headphones problem

Good morning,
unfortunately I'm here to ask your help.
When I plug my headphones in the jack connection, I continue hearing the sound from speakers. If I go to settings, then audio I cannot see headphones listed in output.
This is strange because there's no red light in the jack port, when I plug the cable I can hear some "connection sound", but then no audio from headphones.
It's like the system does not recognize the headphones. Of course I tried with different headphones, the problem still remains.
My macbook pro is early 2008 and runs Lion.

I would not force the headphones into the ipod if there is difficulty doing so. If you read line number 5 in the link below then you can request replacement headphones if you find yours faulty.

Headphones problem with MacBook Pro?

I recently purchased some new headphones, but only 1 earpiece works on a mac. There's nothing wrong with the headphone because both the ear cups work on everything els. He headphones are super super loud ( louder then dr dre beats ) and have the same base.

you would usually get this problem if you have your headphones socket broken or you have not plugged it properly - all the way.
Have you tried other headphones on your Mac?

Same headphone problem with Zen Micro Pho

I had 2 Zen Micros before. They both had the headphone where you can't hear anything unless you move it in the right position. My second Micro took a while to break and I cashed in my rebate at Best Buy.
I got the new Micro Photo since they ran out of regular ones. Do you think I should get the rebate? Does the Micro Photo have headphone jack problems too?

Yep, there has been no known headphone jack problem involving the MicroPhoto on this forum, and this should be compared to new threads every week concerning the original Micro as well as the old 00-pages discussion thread. 10.6.2 USB headphones problem + puzzling Audio Midi Setup workaround

After updating to 10.6.2, my Logitech USB headphones started behaving strangely -- on two separate machines (a 2006 MacBook and a 2009 Mac Pro), so it's not a fault with the computer.
Symptoms:
1. no sound in Skype
2. no sound in YouTube
3. sound, but low volume levels in iTunes when volume is at highest setting
Audio output from the headphone jack and internal speaker remained normal, with no problems.
I knew enough to fiddle with Audio Midi Setup, and discovered the following. The problems described above remained whenever the volume controls for channels 1 and 2 were equal.
The minute the volume controls were set to different levels for the two channels, sound reappeared -- and the greater the disparity, the louder the overall volume coming to both ears. For example setting channel 1 to 0.83 value/-1.00 dB and channel 2 to 1.00 value/3.00 dB produces an adequate volume level overall (though I suppose it is coming at the cost of an actual inequality between the two stereo channels).
Am I correct to assume that I have uncovered a bug here? I had no such problems before 10.6.1.
Unfortunately, I don't have a second pair of USB headphones to test whether that makes a difference.

Update to my own message: It's not necessary to go to Audio Midi Setup to see the effect. In the Sound preference pane as well, setting the balance dead center causes the sound to go to zero, but unbalancing it in favor of either the left or right brings the sound back -- the more unbalanced, the louder.
Furthermore, the balance control does not actually reduce the volume to either ear when moved to the left or the right. That is, with balance all the way to the left, I get louder volume...out of both ears.
No such problem when playing through the regular headphone jack.

Headphone problem with 6300

Hi, hope someone can help me....
I've purchased an adapter from 2.5mm to 3.5mm so that I can use my "normal" headphones. However, when I put the 2.5mm jack in the phone, I can still hear music from the phone itself; nothing at all from the headphones I've connected.
Do I need to change something on the phone? I've looked at "Enhancements" but doesn't have an option for headphones

I had this problem on an Imate and the reason is the plugs are wired differently. If you look at the plug you will see little black rings, it has to do with how these rings are layed out on the plug. The adapter rings need to be reversed.
This time when I bought my wife a 6300 I also bought her a set of blue tooth stereo headphones BH501 and they work a treat, they also will switch off the music and accept a voice call then they resume the music once the call has finished.
The added bonus is she can use them on her pc as well or any other blue tooth device.

Line out and headphone problems

Just recently I have started to have a problem where if I use the line-out funtion of my iPod audio will not come out of the headphones afterwards. I use the Belkin auto-kit so I just connect my iPod whenever I drive somewhere, and it annoys me that I have to reset my iPod every time I want to listen through my headphones. I have tried unplugging and plugging back in, increasing and decreasing the volume, pausing/resuming, and changing songs but to no avail. The only solution is resetting the iPod. I was just wondering if anyone out there has had this problem, or knew if there was a more practical solution than just resetting the iPod every time.

Went to the genius bar earlier today to have my Mac Pro looked at. They said that front board and backplane failure is fairly common. In fact, the genius mentioned that his own 12-core suffered the same issues insofar as audio crackling and eventual analog out failure.
I should be getting it back in 5-7 days.

MacBook + Headphones = Problems

Hi, My MacBook Pro is all of a sudden experiencing problems with the headphones I'm using. I've had this computer for about 9 months, and the heaphones have worked in all that time. Until today there weren't any problems, but then they acted funny. I was listening to music when all of a sudden the sound just came out merky and fuzzy and quiet and odd. I tried shutting it down, didn't work, I tried unplugging the headphones and replugging them, didn't work, I tried using the speakers and they worked normally so it's not the built-in speakers. Then I went into settings to see if there was anything weird with the sound, and there was... When I adjusted the balance to the far right or far left it would sound normal. But when the balance was center the sound would be merky, or quiet, or echoey with a delay, really any bad sound you can think of, it was what it sounded like. I don't think it's my headphones, but if it is I guess that's okay, better than having to buy a new computer. The sound now is just weird when the balance is at center, but when it's far right/left it sounds pretty normal with te exception some of the sound gets lost because it was more dominant on the other side. If anyone has had this problem and knows how to fix it, please let me know, I am literally hundreds of miles from the nearest Apple Store, going to college in rural Nebraska, and I would really appreciate the help. Thank You so much.

Sometimes you can reset the NVRAM (PRAM) and that may help some.
You can let the reset/start chime sound three times in this procedure...

Some users had noticed their model Mac portable had a tiny light inside the
headphone or sound out port, and in some models this indicated an issue.
Not sure about yours, though. Sometimes a tiny switch inside there sticks.

Zen Micro Headphone Problem: How long does it ta

Hi all,I took my Zen Micro Unit (purchased March 2005) back to the place of purchase today, so that it could be submitted for service to correct the Headphone Jack problem. I was wondering how long it will take now before the unit is either repaired or replaced, as I am already suffering from withdrawal symptoms... I'm missing my music ? Please, anyone who has had this service performed by Creative, let me know:
a) whether the unit can be repaired or is just replaced, </LI>
b) if the unit is to be replaced can I be assured that the problem won't occur again</LI>
c) how long will it take to receive some kind of notification from Creative?</LI>

Since you took it back to the store for the repair, you should contact the store for the updates info. I don't think creative will contact you regarding the repair.Reason, simple. Cos it's the store(directly) that return the player to them and not you. and not creative since they won't know who send those player back except it's from the store.

Crazy Headphone problem? Speaker no longer works in some cases

Basically my phone work just fine. But when I get a call I have to put it on speaker phone to listen to anything. Also when I adjust the volume it always indicates Headphone.
and Yes I do not have my headphones in. I looked at the cleaning thing and that is not the problem as the iPhone does detect that the headphones are pulled out.
I restored, rebooted, checked settings, you name it. Nothing comes out of the speakers when you touch the keyboard no clicks and yes these are all enabled.
I have not as of yet enabled Bluetooth devices, but turned that off also.
Everything seems to work fine if I do use the headphone.
Any ideas? driving me crazy...

I still think the problem lies in your headset jack. Maybe plugging in/out 20-30 times?
Also, try resetting your iPhone by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
If this doesn't work, try restoring. See p. 141 of the manual... http://manuals.info.apple.com/enUS/iPhone_UserGuide.pdf
