Problème inDesign CS6 (version d'éssai)
Bonjour,
Tu en pense quoi ?
Merci beaucoup
PS : merci bcp franck pour ce lien ^^

I need Adobe InDesign CS6 version 8.0. Is that available?
I need Adobe InDesign CS6 version 8.0. Is that available?
Yes. You can purchase it as either a conventional perpetual licensed product or as part of a Creative Cloud subscription. THe subscription will get you both CS6 and the new CC version 9.0

Using Mac computer and InDesign CS6, version 8.0, how can I fill a box from swatches?
Make sure the Fill color proxy (solid square, upper left corner of the swatches panel) is selected and in front, then choose a swatch.

I had InDesign CS3... which I upgraded in 2012 to CS6... two days ago my PC crashed... and I need to reload InDesign... I downloaded from Adobe.com InDesign CS6... but when entering my serial number, I got a message saying that my serial n° is valid but that there is no eligible product on my PC... I suspect that my serial n° is related to the initial C3 version I had bought... I guess that I could download CS3 from Adobe.com... and use my serial number... but how I do get back my CS6 upgrade? Thanks a million for any hlep!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OK, here is the situation:
* I am an Adobe customer
* I bought in 2008 CSInDesign CS3 and I have the serial n° [removed by moderator] in my Adobe account (shows as Adobe InDesign, version = CS3, platform = Win)
* In 2012, I upgraded my CS3 to CS6 and I have a serial n° [removed by moderator] for that in my Adobe account (shows as Adobe InDesign, version = 8.0, platform = Win)
After my PC crash, I downloaded InDesign CS6 and use my serial n° of 2012. It doesn't work, as it says my product is not eligible.
So, here is where I stand now...
* I downloaded CS3 and used my serial n° for InDesign CS3. It works. I now have CS3 on my PC
* How do I get back my 'upgrade from CS3 to CS6?
* I have the serial number for that upgrage and I guess I need to download an "upgrade" file somewhere from Adobe. But I cannot find it, I found pages with upgrades, but there are so many different files, I do not have a clue which one to use;
This is now my key question... can someone give me the link to access the file(s) I have to download to upgrade my InDesign CS3 version to InDesign CS6 -
Is my installation of InDesign CS6 version 8.0.2 malfunctioning?
I cannot get anything to happen from the Align panel (Window>Object&Layout>Align). My two objects will not align, the check boxes will not become checked, the alignment menu will not appear. I am a beginner and this is the first time that I have used the program. What is the solution?
Yuck hate scripting.....appreciate the info though. I did find out that InDesign is Applescriptable and that was a huge help and thinking I have it nailed down. Testing it now......
Would be nice to be able to simply copy over prefs to the User Tempate like other apps. Got lucky with it working this long over the years, but sucks that it stopped working with CS6.

Copier texte Word Cyrillique et coller sur Indesign CS6 - PC
Bonjour
Bonne chance!

UPDATE:
I commented out the addpage line and the script ran without any issues. So the error seems to come about when adding a page and then adding the library asset to it. So the question seems to lie in , "how to add a library asset on a new page?" The code below seemed to work with CS2.
Hi - We wrote .jsx scripts for the CS2 version of InDesign. We now have InDesign CS6. When we run the scripts we get the following error:
The basic function of the script is to import an xml file, select a library, get a specific asset from the library and then adds it to the document.
This is the section of code in the .jsx file that is generating the error; line 204 is generating the error
I've checked both theTemplate and myDocument objects at the time of execution and they are both valid objects.
I have no idea why it would throw an undefined is not an object error message? I've scoured the internet and I am unable to find anything related to this matter and the guy who wrote the scripts has left the the company. Any help in the right direction is greatly appreciated.
Also, this question was already asked in the Indesign forum, and they suggested I should ask this question here after no solution was found.
Adobe InDesign CS6 (8.0) Asset.placeAsset(document) getting undefinedWe are using InDesign CS6 version 8.1.
When I refer to the "old" libraries I am referring to InDesign libraries that were created using InDesign CS2 back in 2006, and "new" libraries are libraries created using InDesign CS6 in 2014.
I just found out that the library assets in the "new" libraries were created by opening a document and dragging items from the Structure panel onto the Library panel.
This is why the script was having problems placing the asset on to a document and the root of the problem. This should not have been done.
I just created a new library and added a library asset by opening a document with pageitems on it and clicking on the New Library button on the Library Panel. I then ran my script and everything worked.
Sorry for the confusion. There seems to have been some misunderstanding within our team.
Nevertheless it was a great learning experience. Thanks for your help. -

Message was edited by: Peter SpierHang logs don't mean a thing to me, unfortunately. We normally ask users to convert hangs to crashes using activity monitor, then post the crash log (see Adobe Forums: InDesign CS5.5 Not Responding), but at this point it's entirely moot since trashing the prefs solved your problem.

Having looked at the forums and found Adobe support less than helpful I am hopping that the comunite will be able to help me out on these frustrating issues.
We are having a number of issues while trying to print from InDesign CS6 to our OKI C830 printer
Our setup:
OS: Windows 8 64bit
InDesign CS6 Version: 8.0.1
Printer drivers: PS: 1.2.0.0 & PLC: 1.0.7.0/1.1.7
Printer: Oki C830 /256mb RAM / V1.16
Issues while printing from InDesign:
Printing multiple pages causes an error - undefined offending command stack error
After printing the first page successfully we get the error above.
I implemented the fix outlined in the following link: http://forums.adobe.com/message/2878922#2878922Changed the print option from Binary to ASCII – this helped in so much that we could then print one or two pages as needed.
Booklet printing – When trying to print a booklet it seems that the spread is not understood by the printer Try to print a booklet from ID 6 the pages are printed at random onto a single A4/3 sheet of paper.
As a work around we are fourced to create the document in ID CS6 and then expoort it to ID CS4 for printing.
Also as a side note I have tried printing to our old HP printers and they work fine. Also this issue was present on Windows 7x32 as well.
Thanks in advance for any help provided.
Cheers,
MatthewThe issues you are having can be caused by driver conflicts on the Operating system. If windows * installed the drivers automatically, it may be the wrong drivers. If they were installed from the disc, they may be outdated for Windows 8.
Please take the following steps.
1. If printer is connected by usb, disconnect the usb cable from the computer. If printer is connected on network, turn printer off.
2. Click start then click "Devices and Printers".
3. Right click on printer icon and click "Remove Device"
4. After icon is gone, single left click on Microsoft Document writer and then click Print server Properties at top of page.
5. Click on the drivers tab at the top of that window. Select anything that says "Oki" and select remove. Then select remove driver and driver package.
The driver package may not remove but it's ok as long as the driver is successfully removed.
6. Go to okidata.com and click on "Support" at top of page. In the grey area, select download a driver.
7. Next to select technology, click the dropdown window and select multifunctional product.
8. Another dropdown window will appear. Select the MC860MFP.
9. You will see three boxes. The center one will be titled "Find a Driver". Select Windows 7 X64 edition.
10. Select English MC860nMFP Series 64 Bit PS Driver for Windows (This will be the fifth option down.)
11. In the Driver Download Info box to the right, click the blu underlined file titled MC860Win7x64PS_ENU130.exe
12. Follow the installation instructions. -

8 libjvm. In future please post crash reports on another server, such as at pastebin.com, then provide a link. It will make you post much easier to read.
In this case it looks like a Java problem, perhaps, but the first thing you need to try is updating ID to version 8.1 -
Windows 7 SP1 64 Bit Professional
Adobe InDesign CS6 version 8.0
12 GB Ram
128 GB SSD
Whenever I try to change from the arrow to the text tool, I have to wait several seconds for the program to make the switch. On other machines, it's instantaneous. Whenever I try to scroll through pages, or click on a text box, or switch the top ribbon from character to paragraph mode...all these seemingly simple commands take several long seconds for the program to respond. By several, I mean like 15 or 20.
I have tried turning off the "pre flight" which seems to help but only a little bit.
What would next steps be to trying to resolve the issue other then possibly upgrading to CC?The ID has been patched to 8.0.2.
The preferences have been trashed today, following the manual method of renaming the two files used for preferences.
Correction: 390 Free space out of 475 GB SSD
I will see how the performance is after trashing the preferences.
Thank you for the troubleshooting steps. -
Idml open and idml Save As crash InDesign CS6 8.0.1
I am using:
2012 MacMini
Mac OSX 10.8.3
2.6 GHz Intel Core i7, 8 gb 1600 MHz DDR3
InDesign CS6
Version 8.0.1
I have run software update
Opening an idml file crashes InDesign.
Saving a file to idml crashes InDesign.
Assistance would be very much appreciated.
Thank you.Via Font Book, I checked all fonts with pro in the name. All appear OK.
I created a new document with nothing in it with same result. My crash report (http://pastebin.com/Rgd5AAHZ) was a little different under VM Regions.
Do you believe a re-install would solve the issue?
Thanks again for your help. It is appreciated. -
InDesign CS6 crashing on startup in OS X 10.7.3
I also am having an issue.
I am running 10.7.3 however.
I installed InDesign CS6 (version 8.0) and if I have all my plugins running it will crash EVERY TIME on start-up.
However, I systematically removed all plugins and found that the plugin that causes the problems are:
PMPACK (completel doesn't work)
UI (lags the computer, very slow) - but if I remove UI I have NO tools.
Any ideas or suggestions?
SSI think with CS 6 anyway that the welcome screen is trying to call home to adobe. Why or for what I'm not sure just yet. Once Indesign opens, if you close the welcome screen and go under the help menu and launch the welcome screen again it does the same thing and hangs for a minute or so. Right now I think its our firewall blocking it.
People having issues with this, are you home users or working at a business behind firewalls and stuff?
Either Indesign isn't using our proxy settings set in the system or we have something messed up on our network. If I take the problematic computer and put it in our office where there is no restrictions or proxies Indesign launches fine.
***Update***
So it seems if your computer has a network connection this plugin for the welcome screen calls home to Adobe for some reason. If I turn off internet access then Indesign launches fine. I don't see anything on the welcome screen that it would have to call home for. But it is and the Adobe software doesn't seem to be using the settings set in OS X to use the proxy server from what I am seeing. So to me it looks like a bug with Adobe's software because its not using the proxy server set in OS X network preferences. Hopefully if I am correct about the Adobe software not using the set proxy server settings in OS X they will fix it. Also noticed Dreamweaver CS6 not connecting on teh bottom right of the window, so its not using the set proxy settings in OS X either.
Work around:
Punch a whole in firewall
or
Remove:
/Applications/Adobe InDesign CS6/Plug-Ins/PMPack/PMWelcomeScreen.InDesignPlugin -
InDesign CS6 pixelated workspace on MacBook Pro Retina
I've recently purchased a Retina MacBook Pro and the Adobe CS6 (Design/Web Premium) I've updated all the Adobe CS6 programs as they all had pixelated workspaces. After the update, InDesign CS6 (version 8.0.2) is still pixelated... Is there a reason why the other programs (Illustrator and Photoshop) fixed the pixelation problem but not InDesign?

Adobe Indesign CS6(8.0) there is no Paragraph and Character directions
Hi, I have Adobe Indesign CS6(8.0) Windows 7. Where can I see the Paragraph and Character directions? I followed tutorials on the net but I can't find the paragraph and character directions. It's not like it's grayed, but the 2 options weren't there. Thanks!
We are using InDesign CS6 version 8.1.
