Problème installation flash player / can't install flash player

hello , when i try to install flash player on my MAC ( 10.9.4) , the downloading process disappear immediately after starting , it shortly show the 0 percent then disappear so i can't install flash player.
What could i do to fix this ?

Par la suite la fenêtre reste vide et donc impossible d'installer flash player .
j'ai déjà essayer de désinstaller flash player de l'installer sur une autre session de mon MAC (10.9.4) mais le problème persiste .
Si quelqu'un a une idée de ce que je pourrais faire , merci d'avance .

I downloaded the installer but I can't install Firefox

I downloaded the installer and try to install FF but I can't. It goes up to extracting files and then nothing. At first I wanted to try FF4 but it could not work so I guessed I should uninstall the ff3.6 that I had on my computer. Now I can't install any version of FF.
I turned off the firewall i also removed Avast from my computer and another Antimalware program I had but nothing. It says extracting files and that's it. Nothing more

You should download and install iBooks first and then buy books from the iBooks Store. You worked backwards. Where did you but the book? Or where did you download it from?

My computer crashed and I lost my Acrobat Installation CD - how can I install it on another PC?

I cannot locate my Acrobat Installation CD and my laptop where it was installed keeps crashing (Blue Screen) so I want to get it fixed which will require that I will need to reinstall all my software. HT5022 trying to install airport utility 5.6 but during installation it says cleaning up then the installation fails how can I install the software

I am trying to install airport utility on my mac with OS 10.7.5 to use my old airport express but during installation after it says cleaning up it stops installing with an error message an error occured.
The software is from the Apple site and all it says is to contact the developer but cannot find out who to contact

Here are the basic steps to install version 5.6 under Mountain Lion using CharlesSoft's Pacifist:
If you haven't already download the AirPort Utility disk image file directly from Apple Support Download
Place the resultant AirPortUtility56.dmg file onto your Mac's Desktop.
Run Pacifist.
Click on the Open Package option. Find the disk image file that you just placed on your desktop, and then, click on Open.
The utility is located as follows: Contents of AirPortUtility56.dmg > Contents of AirPortUtility56.pkg > Contents of AirPortUtility56Lion.pkg > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility 5.6.app
Drag AirPort Utility 5.6.app to your Mac's /Applications/Utilities folder.
You can now run the AirPort Utility from the Utilities folder.

[SOLVED]Keyboard not working at installation (so, I can't install)

When I execute the installation program (from a CD or USB), keyboard works when the GRUB shows up, but when I press enter to run archiso, after the kernel and module loading, I arrive to "archiso login:_" screen with a non-working keyboard, neither my PS2 nor USB keyboard, so I can't login in and, of course, install arch.
I've been trying to collect some rare data from the kernel loading screen in order to ease finding a solution:
(after archiso kernel module loaded) -> ohci_hcd 0000:00:04.0: Unlink after no-IRQ? Controller is probably using the wrong IRQ.
(after setting clock) -> select() to /dev/rtc to wait for clock tick timed out.
As I said, I tried from a CD and a USB with the same result. I've md5 the images I'd downloaded and they are correct.

Please, is there any workaround to this problem? I would wish to install arch on my PC.
Maybe installing an older version CD could work, but i am not sure if older versions of arch offer support for ext4...
EDIT: Ok I solved it, it was a very strange option in Bios, called "Installer OS Select", where the options to choose were Windows or Others, and I choose others and voilà!, Keyboard working.

Whether Web Platform Installer 5.0 can be installed in production SharePoint 2010 mysites machine

Dear all,
I have sharepoint 2010 and VisualStudio 2010SP1 in my production machine. mysites is running in this box.
My doubt is; I am trying to open a project which was created in VS 2012 - which was saved to framework 4.0. When i am trying to open it - it is asking me to install web platform installer 5.0. It also tells me that it will install IIS7.5 express and use
that instead of the default asp.net details.
I have Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard IIS(version 7.5.7600.16385)
is it safe to install web plaform installer 5.0
any inputs are welcome.

Hi Sathya,
It doesnot matter whether your server installs web platform installer 5.0 or not. The point is that after istalling the web platform installer 5.0, it will "upgrade" your IIS to 7.5 express automatically. But it should not upgrade as your
IIS version is 7.5 .
For your issue, please edit your project as below:
Step 1
Open solution file (.sln) in a text editor and change
Microsoft Visual Studio Solution File, Format Version 12.00
to
Microsoft Visual Studio Solution File, Format Version 11.00
Step 2
Open application configuration file (App.config) in a text editor and change
sku=".NETFramework,Version=v4.5"
to
sku=".NETFramework,Version=v4.0"
Step 3
Open project file (for C# language .csproj) in a text editor and change

Major installation issues. Can't install Snow leopard.

I've been experiencing problems with my macbook so after many attempts at trying to solve them i've decided to re-install snow leopard. I had to boot from the disk holding down C because my laptop would no longer boot. I went through the usual steps of selecting the language and the appropriate drive. Then I get an error dialogue saying: 'the contents of this disk can't be changed. Mac os x couldn't be installed on this disk'
What do i do now?

Can't install Apple Remote Desktop 3.5.1 custom installer on Lion 10.7.3

Ever since Lion 10.7.3 was released, I've not been able to install the custom client installer package that I've made with Apple Remote Desktop 3.5.1.
The error I get is "Remote Desktop Client Update can't be installed on this disk. A newer version of this package is already installed".
I'm guessing this is to do with Apple releasing the ARD 3.5.2 client, but not releasing a new server.
Is there any way of me tweaking the custom installer, so this can be installed? Or do I have have to wait for ARD server to be upgraded to 3.5.2? :-|

I was able to download the ARD 3.5.2 Client and take the customisations from the generated custom client installer.
To do this you need to expand the Custom Installer to a directory somewhere (in this example I'll expand it to a directory on the desktop)
pkgutil --expand CustomClientInstaller.pkg ~/Desktop/CustomClientInstaller
Inside the expanded package, there are 3 files which are appended with "_entries" which seem to contain the customisations that are specified during the package generation process. So, we need to copy these to a temporary location...
cp ~/Desktop/CustomClientInstaller/RemoteDesktopClient.pkg/Scripts/Tools/*_entries ~/Desktop
Now, what we need to do is expand the ARD Client we just downloaded (3.5.2) and apply the customisations to it...
pkgutil --expand RemoteDesktopClient.pkg ~/Desktop/RemoteDesktopClient
cp ~/Desktop/*_entries ~/Desktop/RemoteDesktopClient/RemoteDesktopClient.pkg/Scripts/Tools
pkgutil --flatten ~/Desktop/RemoteDesktopClient CustomRemoteDesktopClient.pkg
You should now have an up-to-date customised ARD client. Note that I have not fully tested all of the options, such as creating users. It may be necessary to look at this post if the newly customised ARD client has problems creating a new user.

I can't install newer Safari or others...

My Safari is v. 3.0.3. When I click .pdf files on the web pages, mostly the browser crashes and accidently closed. And video (I think flash movie) from cnn.com is not working.
I tried to install newer Safari, I have enough hard space, about more than 40gb, but the installer said it can not install. I found there was same problem to install some other software.
What do I need to do to fix?

If your computer system and update step is as indicated in
the signature line of your post, you will have to update the
Mac OS X system to 10.4.11 or Later for Safari 3.1.2 and
several other software updates to install and work there.
More recent versions of flash player and other software
may be required, in addition to a system update to 10.4.11.
Adobe has several players for flash and others; and a
later java version should be available from Apple directly.

A newer java and other updates would likely appear if the
Tiger system were upgrade to 10.4.11, disk permissions
repaired, then even Software Updates ran to see what is
available. At times, singular downloads from Support's
Download page of softare (standalone installers) is best.
Instead of trying to run a long list of software updates
which the more automated Software Update may supply.
From the Safari 3.1.2 Downloads page:
"Macintosh Requirements *Any Mac running Mac OS X
Leopard 10.5.4 or Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.11 (or higher)."
Most of the Tiger updates and new browsers, etc for OS X
are set up for the last version of 10.4.(11) with no surprise.
Be sure to use Disk Utility's 'repair disk permissions' before
and after software and security updates. It also does not
hurt to start the computer up in SafeBoot and then run the
Disk Utility's 'repair disk permissions' since a second type
of system check and repair is done, then restart normally.

Can't install updates for Photoshop CS4!!

I downloaded photoshop cs4 onto my windows vista computer, but the version i have says 11.0. its really slow and lags when i try to draw so i tried to update it to 11.0.2 but when i went into the installer it said can not install please click the quit button. Anybody know how to fix this problem or get the updater to work? thanks.

Uninstall everything Adobe, run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool, reinstall from scratch. in so many words: You have another dependent update already in place when you updated something else (e.g. Acrobat's PDF libraries) and it's blocking your otehr update. Though none of this may fix your actual performance problem in PS, to be honest. This may be completely unrelated and be a problem with the machine itself. Ask on the PS forum.

Can't instal or uninstall

I was downloading the latest update to iTunes and Quicktime and the download got stuck in the middle of the download. Now whenever I try to open iTunes it gives me an error message and won't open. If I try to reinstall iTunes it says that it can't complete the installation because it can't install Quicktime. Then if I try to install Quicktime seperately it says there is an installation already running...but there isn't. Please help!

After installing and using the new iTunes 8.02 for a short time I could not open iTunes getting the error msg “This action is only valid for products that are currently installed” Thinking this was a problem with the short cut I tried opening from the application file in Explorer with the same error. Then assuming the install was bad I tried to remove iTunes and got windows installer error msg “The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.” And tried an alternate path finding that the problem seems to be the iTunes.msi file is not being recognized. Error msg “The file C\Documents and Settings\All users\Application Data\apple\Installer Cache\iTunes 8.0.2.20\iTunes.msi is not a valid installation package for the product iTunes. Try and find...’iTunes.msi’ ….”
I tried several times same result and when I exited the add remove program I recv’d the msg “The installation source for this product is not available. Verify the source exists and that you can access it.”
In trying to find the problem I rec’vd error msg requiring the same for Quick Time and Bonjour and could not remove them for the same reasons. It seems all Apple related programs are now corrupt and I can not even delete the folders from explorer as the error msg comes up “Cannot delete mdnsNSP.dll: access denied. ….”
I have tried using registry cleaning, windows installer cleaning and every other trick possible. It seems to be a windows .dll file problem created by Apple iTunes update 8.02.
Now what? Please advise….

Can't install OS10.2 on eMac

I recently purchased an eMac with the hard drive wiped. I have OS10.2 installation discs but can't install.
When the computer is switched on there is an alternating question mark and smiley face (alternating on about a two second cycle).
Nothing happens when I inserted installation disc 1 - no disc icon appeared, or anything else. I tried restarting the computer (by switching the power off and on again, with the disc in the drive and with the C button pressed. Still nothing.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

First of all, Welcome to the Apple Discussion forums!

Are these discs full retail install discs? Make sure they are not machine specific to another Mac or are "upgrade" discs. Do you know how much ram/memory is installed on the eMac? Hard Disk size? It would be most helpful, also, to know which exact eMac model it is (Mhz/Ghz processor)? It may be a problem with trying to install an earlier OS than what came preinstalled on the machine. The first eMac (700 Mhz) came with 10.1 pre-installed whereas the last model eMac G4 came with Tiger 10.4 pre-installed. You cannot install an OS earlier than what came pre-installed on the eMac.
If you know this information it may help to troubleshoot your installation problems.

Can't install upgrade

After downloading 1.01 installer says I can't install because it's not needed. But my version is 1.0
Also, upgrade does not appear in software update.
Should I reinstall?

make sure you didn't move the program or install it in a location other then your application folder (where the program wants to install)
