Was synchronisiert der mir dann?

I get this mesage everytime i open Outlook and it slows down opening. This problem started when itunes updated. What do I do to solve this?

Hi turingtest2 (you pass, BTW):  Thanks for the speedy reply.  MobileMe doesn't appear in the list of programs which can be uninstalled.  I tried the link you suggest: http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall but when I tried to "Run Now", I get the error message:  " Troubleshooting cannot continue because an error has occurred... etc.... [code 80072F8F]"  So googled this error & found a tool called (80072f8f) Repair Tool   -  I'm leery to download yet more stuff from non-microsoft sites -- any recommendations?

  • Probleme mit Akkulaufzeit nach Update auf iOS 6.1

    Hallo Zusammen,
    Vielen lieben Dank
    Patrick

  • Latest update causing problems with my itunes update on my computer,

Have had to delete itunes on my computer to try to get this update to upload. I cannot even access an earlier version.  I have tried everything from uninstalling to cleaning my hard drive and still it will not install.

ITunes update 11.1.4 would not install and I received the following error message.
"The program can't start because MSVCR80.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem".
A temporary solution was to restore my system to a date before the 11.1.4 update was applied.
This worked and I was again able to use iTunes except that synchronisation between iTunes, my iphone and ipad was frustrated. I received an message to the effect that “you need to turn on synchronisation in isync preferences before you can sync contacts and calendars.”
Further research on these boards revealed that this problem too was apparently caused by the Apple update could only be resolved by installing the latest version of iTunes i.e. 11.1.4
Thus  a clean install of iTunes 11.1.4 was obviously necessary for complete functionality.
Thus I followed the procedures detailed by Turingtest2 here
    https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-6562
I carefully deleted all of the Apple related programs and folders I could find as suggested.
I had problems deleting Apple Mobile Device Support.  I eventually managed it though by variously
using CONT-ALT-DEL  to enter Task Manager and then Processes and then halted(ended) any Apple process I was able to find.  It eventually deleted but not without a struggle!
I then performed a clean installation as described ensuring I right clicked on the download and selected Run as Administrator.
Itunes 11.1.4 was then installed with no loss of previously downloaded material – books music etc.
Not impressed with this Apple update at all…… a seemingly very cavalier approach to customer care.

  • Problem opening recent itune update

recently downloaded current itunes update, have been unable to open itunes.  Have removed and reinstalled itunes onto laptop.  currently using Windows 7.  did not have problems with previous itune upgrades

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If the advice above doesn't resolve things you could try this alternate version:
    iTunes 12.1.0.71 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) - itunes64setup.exe (2015-01-28)
Or roll back to the previous build:
    iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (32-bit) - iTunesSetup.exe (2014-10-16)
    iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (64-bit) - iTunes64Setup.exe (2014-10-16)

  • Problems after downloading itunes update

I downloaded the itunes update so my computer would quit asking me if I wanted to. Now about half of my music library is missing. There seem to be pieces of it in the music folder and on various playlists, but there are several duplicates, so I know it's not the whole library. I tried consolidating the library, but nothing happened. The songs I had on my nano are still on it, but I had lots more than I could fit. Also, my computer is not automatically transferring new stuff to the ipod, even though I get a message saying the ipod sync is complete. To get new songs on the nano, I have to drag and drop them. Any ideas?

Reinstalling OS X Without Erasing the Drive
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Reinstalling OS X Without Erasing the Drive
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility and press the Continue button. After Disk Utility loads select the Macintosh HD entry from the the left side list.  Click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If Disk Utility reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit Disk Utility and return to the main menu.
Reinstall OS X: Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

  • Anyone having problems downloading new iTunes update?

After trying to download the new iTunes update received an error notice that said iTunes was not installed properly and I needed to re-install.
I cannot even access the iTunes program.

Hopefully you will be able to avoid upgrading, this freeze issue you're having might be a good thing if it means that os6 has failed to be installed. os6 is not looking good. I didn't read the reviews before I accepted the "up" grade. Now it seems it's too late. Hope you can get your answer and can use this stalled "up" grade to revert to os5!

  • HT1222 problem with latest itunes update

Just did the latest itunes update and it wont update saying my version of windows (7) wont support it. anyone else having these issues?

    Hey cshapp,
Thanks for the question. I understand you are experiencing issues with Home Sharing and connectivity. The following articles may help to resolve your issue:
    iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3297
    "Error 3000" through "3999"
Alerts with codes in the 3000 range generally mean that iTunes cannot contact the gs.apple.com server on ports 80 or 443. This may be because out-of-date or incorrectly configured security or firewall software is interfering, or due to your Internet proxy settings. If you are using a proxy, try removing the proxy settings, or using a known-good network. If that does not resolve the issue, follow iTunes for Windows: Troubleshooting security software issues.

  • Outlook syncing problem with new iTunes update

I'm concerned about syncing my iTouch again, as I have major problems from the last time:
Last week, I updated and synced my iTouch (4th gen) and the synch acted different.  I was faced with "conflicts in Outlook" to review.  I was doing this on the fly, and didn't really think anything of it, even though I hadn't ever been asked this before, so I went ahead without thinking.  Before this, in order for my Contacts folders to not all sync together, I had to make a Contacts folder I named "iTouch Contacts."  When I finished the sync, I noticed that in Outlook, my main Contacts folder now only had about 400 contacts in it (should have about 3000), and my iTouch Contacts folder had over 3000.  Obviously, my iTouch had done something weird and synced differently.  I knew I had some kind of duplicating mess to deal with, but just ended up moving all of the iTouch contacts to the main Contacts folder to deal with it later.  In the next couple of days, I synced it again, and (again) the same "conflicts" and that began to worry me.  When it was all said and done, for some reason, I saw that the iTouch Contacts folder in Outlook had 3000 again.  Without thinking, I was just disgusted and deleted all those contacts.  I later realized that I had deleted the majority of my contacts and that my main Outlook Contacts folder was again down to only 400.  Since most of my contacts are no longer in Outlook, I can't email people from a new email, but must use a previous email and reply to them.  Also, when I look at the contacts on my actual iTouch device, ALL my Outlook Contacts folders are there, even ones I have never had checked to sync with the device.
My question:  How do I dare sync again...without knowing first how to get all my Contacts transferred from my iTouch to Outlook?  And then how do I figure out how to sync the right folders?  The recent update must have had some changes that just took over without asking me!  I had even unchecked the boxes under the Info tab in iTunes on my device, so as to NOT sync contacts, but it just went ahead and did it anyway.
Thank you in advance for your help!

    Hi lastskier
Have you browsed through the forums at all? Its worth spending a little while doing so because most problems have been experienced by others and resolved.
My recommended method for installing iTunes upgrades is:
    1. Back up your iTunes library, and by this I mean locate the iTunes folder (usually in My music) and copy all of it and its contents preferably to a removeable hard drive (they are really cheap now). This is your insurance and if all else fails you have not lost your music files.
    2. Download the iTunes programme from the apple website to your pc - DO NOT install online.
    3. Temporarily disable any antivirus/antispy software programmes (locate the icon in the lower right hand side of your desktop and right click - you should get options to disable)
    4. Run the install and reboot.
With any luck you will be up and running and the new iTunes will have found your old library and imported it. You will still have a safe copy on your removeable drive.
Conflicts with AV/antispy programmes are the most common problem with iTunes installs.
If it doesn't work and you are happy you have a back up of your music, you could try uninstalling all iTunes, iPod and QT s/w using "add/remove programs" and then running thru the steps again. However, this time you may have to get your new iTunes to find your music files on your removeable drive by plugging it in to your pc and getting iTunes to search for it.
You will have lost any library settings e.g. playlist info play count etc by going this route, but there are fancier ways of dealing with that. You can open up "my Music" folder and reimport your entire back up copy of the iTunes folder and this will preserve your old settings.
Let me know how you get on.

  • Problem with recent itunes updates

The last 3 updates to itunes will not install. What do I do ?

How about some details regarding exactly what is happening, any error messages?
Have you tried disabling the Anti-Virus or Firewall software on your computer temporarily to install the update?

  • So does anyone have any info on if apple know about all the problems with the iTunes update?

    By problems I mean:
. The unability to sync music from your laptop/computer to your apple device
    . The slowness
    . Unable to log in
. Being told that the laptop/computer being used isn't recognised
. Clicking on music and it flicking through really quick without playing and then not playing after, but still being on apple device.
+ all the other problems i've seen mentioned on this page. It's pretty clear the new updates have glitches that urgently need fixing and a lot of people are encountering some or multiple of these problems.
I've not seen or heard any announcement whether they know or not or if they're doing something to fix this, because they need to. Urgently.

    Hi JamilMereck,
first of: you can edit previous posts in a time-frame of some minutes (haven't measured it ...).
    After that they become non-editable.
I admit I have used microphones some years back with and without PCs (have switched to Macs 2.5 years ago).
But I always had the mics connected to a mixing desk, which provided Phantom Power.
Since I gave up my 'Singing Career' (wasn't good enough) I also abandoned the use of microphones.
    To your questions:
It might be that PCs with specified Microphone-In ports are also providing power to them or the microphones themselves do not need any power.
And the 'compatible with...' refers to the usage on computers in general.
The iMic from Griffin works with OSX 10.5 (scroll down on the webpage to 'Product Compatibility' the left icon symbolizes OSX 10.5).
As said above, I am no longer up-to-date in usage of microphones, but when you want to use a microphone with the standard connector you have to get either a microphone preamp or a mixer.
If you use the mic only (really only) with your Mac Pro, you might wanna look for USB-connected mics from Samson or Audio Technica for example.
And don't get upset, I understand you fully and any kind of 'insult' is for the manufacturers and not for me
    Stefan
