tu m'a fait curieux et maintenant j'ai aussi installé PSE 9 (pour la langue Allemagne et j'ai PSE 6.0, toujours sur l'ordinateur). Je dois dire qu'il n'y avait pas de problèmes, comme tu le peux voir ici:
Après j'ai appuyé le bouton "Organiser", on m'a demandé si je voulais convertir mes images au format EPS 9. J'ai dit non (A tu al fait aussi?) et ensuite j'ai pu voir la page d'accueil:
J'aurais deux suggestions:
1. Parle avec la hotline:
http://www.adobe.com/support/photoshopelements/ et http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/837/cpsid_83773.html et essayer de trouver le chat.
2. Supprimer toutes les entrées pour 9 PSE 9 dans "regedit" (attention, il faut créer une copie! > Fichier > Exporter un fichier du Registre).

First thing to try is the latest version of Lightroom (currently 5.6). If it don't crash, then problem solved - upgrade.
If Lr5 won't run on your machine, then Lr4 instead.
If both Lr5 and Lr4 crash on your machine, then at least you know it's a not a Lightroom version problem but something wonked in your system.
If you can't figure out how to resolve the crash on the system you have, then it's time for a new system (or try another converter/editor app).
PS - A few things to try:
* After re-installing new version, if that doesn't fix it, then get rid of all Lightroom-related data files (rename them so they can be restored), in case problem is in Lr data file.
* Remove all non-essential hardware in case problem is hardware/driver.
* Startup up machine with minimal software services.
* If still no go, consider updating driver software, including mainboard drivers and/or bios firmware if need be.
* Of course run all the system hardware and software diagnostics you can - problem could be failing disk or ram..
* Check system event logs for any clues.
If you don't know how to do some of these things - ask.
Do not say "you've tried everything" unless you want a lecture - there is most definitely something you haven't tried. It's like when you can't find your car keys - you haven't looked everywhere - there is somewhere you haven't looked!
PS - Has Lightroom EVER worked on your machine? what's changed since then..

We are all users, just like yourself. We are not Adobe technical support. In order for us to give you any help that will be of value, we need your help. We need to know your OS, how much RAM, other information about your computer system, what you have tried, exactly what happens when Lightroom "won't recognize your camera" or "tethering doesn't work." It would be nice to know if there are any error messages, if you have tried adjusting settings in your camera, etc., etc. Nobody here is trying to be smart when they ask for these details. It is the way a user-to-user forum works.

I went through the activation process yesterday and shut down my PC when I went to bed last evening. When I got up this morning and turned my PC on and then started Lightrom 6 (I upgraded from version 5) it started to launch but then just hung and became "not responsive". I I then uninstalled and then reinstalled the product today but the same thing happened. What is weird is that when I install from the standalone file I downloaded when I purchased the upgrade it looks like it's downloading the software again over the Internet? I have been having these problems for the last four or five days. I have contacted the chat support folks twice and they were able to get it working but whatever they did did not last as the problem reappeared again once the PC was shut down and then started up again.

Bonjour, j'ai acheté la série Creative Suite 6 Design Standard étudiant. En ouvrant la boite, je constate qu'il n'y a pas de numéro de série et qu'il faut que j'aille sur le site internet pour m'en procurer un. Hélas, la page web ne marche pas. J'ai mon numéro de produit mais qui ne fonctionnement pour activer mes logiciels.
J'aimerais qu'on puisse m'aider à me donner un numéro de série avec le numéro de produit que j'ai avec ma boite.
Espérant qu'un vrai technicien puisse passer par ici.

J'attends depuis deux semaines mon numéro de série pour activer lightroom. J'ai cependant reçu la confirmation de mon statut. Le message dit que je vais recevoir ce numéro dans les plus brefs délais!!!!!

Que mes blocs sont décalés par rapport à la maquette
que le bloc noir de la page 28 déborde sur la page 29.
Que mon bloc de texte est perturbé par l'ajout sous-jacent d'une page de maquette
que ma pagination a conservé les attributs d'une page pair (numérotation à gauche) alors qu'elle est passée impaire.
J'aurai considéré comme normal que mon ancienne p.28 se soit déplacée en page impaire avec le bloc texte bien placé ET avec les attributs de page (liés au gabarit, tels que pagination, filets, bas de page roulants) modifiés automatiquement. Or il n'en est rien.
Tu me demandais des éclaircissements par rapport à "J'importe mes gabarits dans le document au fur et à mesure de la construction du livre et je libère les éléments de gabarit afin de pouvoir couler le texte et disposer l'icono. Lorsque c'est fait, je ne retourne pas dans le mode page d'InDesign. J'attaque la page suivante." Voici, plus en détails ce que je fais au moment où je monte une nouvelle page. Mes gabarits ont été préparé en amont.
J'ajoute une page au document (ex : une page de texte)
je lui confère le gabarit qui va avec (ex : C-présentation ch1, cf plus haut)
je libère les éléments de gabarits pour pouvoir couler le texte et disposer les images.
quand ma page est finie je recommence l'étape 1.
Est-ce que c'est à l'étape 3 que je me plante ?
Est-ce qu'il y aurait d'autres explications à ce malheureux schmilblick ?

alors qu'il fonctionne sous tous les navigateurs et les mobiles, avec IE la page loading se charge et reste ainsi tout le temps, sans jamais rien afficher
je me suis inspiré du modèle d'adobe edge animate qui mui aussi ne peut s'ouvrir avec IE
Si quelqu'un a une astuce, je suis preneur

Problème avec Lightroom 2.5... Help!

J'ai un problème avec Lightroom 2.5 que j'utilise avec mon macpro sous OS 10.5.5 ...
Je sélectionne des photos dans le module bibliothèque et souhaite faire imprimer ma sélection par un labo distant.
Je vais dans le module "IMPRESSION"
Tout va bien, je choisis mon format, mes marges, mon encadrement, j'incorpore ma plaque d'identité qui devient ma signature dans la marge ..
C'est superbe, automatique, rapide ... J'utilise pour celà l'onglet en bas, à droite : "imprimer dans fichier", et toute ma sélection est enregistrée en .jpg , il ne me reste plus qu'à envoyer par Cyberduck ou Filezila au serveur FTP du labo et le tour est joué ... Bravo Lightroom2 ....
MAIS...
Gros ennui, cependant ... C'était trop beau !.. Mes photos se sont faites débaptisées au passage, et par exemple, celle qui s'appelait IMG_4240.JPG est devenue : nomdudossier-1 ... ! Si j'envoie 1000 photos, toutes différentes, avec des noms différents ( ce qui est OBLIGATOIRE pour m'y retrouver !), je me retrouve avec 1000 photos numérotées de 1 à 1000 !...
HELP ! Comment faire pour que Lightroom2 conserve les noms de fichier de chaque photo !
Je ne peux pas croire être le seul photographe de France à être confronté à ce problème !
J'espère que quelqu'un saura me répondre !

Are you using a PowerPC (e.g., G5 Mac) machine?
Your thread title says "2.5" but your original post mentions upgrading to "2.6" ... I bet you're actually using 2.5. Is that right?
If the answer to both is yes, then yes, this is a known issue for specific camera models. It is fixed by updating to 2.6.

J'ai acheté un Canon 5dMarkIII avec un pack (Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5+Adobe premiere elements 12).
Lors de l'installation, le logiciel demande le numero de serie. Je vais essayer de trouver le "code activation produit" et je vais essayer.
Je reviendrai vous dire si j'ai trouver la solution

Problem with DNG Color Profiles in Lightroom 5.4

Hello folks,
I recently updated from LR 5.3 to Lightroom 5.4 and since then I am having problem when using dng color profiles which were created with Colorchecker Passport. Every time I use such a profile which was created for my Nikon D 800 I get very greenish tones in the pictures.
I use Windows 7 Pro on a HP Z 210 Workstation. The monitor is a hardware-calibrated Quato which was recently calibrated.
Does anyone have this problem too and - if yes - know how to fix it?

I do have a Nikon D 800 and a Fuji X-E1. I haven's noticed a problem with the Fuji so far. I think I will recalibrate my monitor tomorrow and see if the problem still exists.
I can supply raws and DNG profiles but I don't know where I should upload them - I suggest I could do it on my own webspace. Would that be ok?

Problem with "Edit in Photoshop" and Lightroom 2.1 failing to import new file

I am a new user to Lightroom, so I won't be surprised if the problem is at the dull end of the keyboard...
I am working with Lightroom 2.1 (still in my 30-day free trial), Photoshop CS3 with ACR 4.6, on Windows XP (fully updated). My image files are mostly .cr2 files (canon raw).
When I "edit with photoshop" in Lightroom, it fires up Photoshop and brings the file up for edit as expected. Photoshop shows the file name as something like _MG_2326.CR2, as (I presume) expected. When I'm done editing in Photoshop, and I save the file, Lightroom brings up a message "The file could not be imported because it could not be read." and "It may be an incompatible format." on a second line.
If I synchronize the folder in Lightroom it picks up the save file without issue (though its not automatically stacked with the original).
I have tried messing around with the different options in the preferences "external editing" tab -- file format, color space and bit depth (I can't imagine resolution would matter). No joy there.
I have also tried setting photoshop up as the additional external editor and if I do that it works correctly. However, in this case, it makes a copy of the file before opening photoshop which slows things down a little.
Is this a problem that anybody else has seen before? Any solutions or work-arounds?

I'm back trying to sort this problem out (got distracted for a couple of days by trying to get my monitor calibrated).
Rearranging the folder structure didn't help. But I now have a better organized catalog, so that's ok :)
What I did find is that if I import files into lightroom using the "file/import photos from device", then I can edit them normally afterwards (that is, when I save the file in photoshop cs3, the new file gets picked up correctly by lightroom and gets correctly stacked with the original). This is true even if the new files get added into the same directory structure that I'm having troubles with.
So it looks like the directory structure is a red herring. It looks like the problem is in the catalog, with the way that lightroom originally imported my files. I created my original catalog by allowing lightroom to read my elements 6 catalog.
It seems that I have this edit problem with all catalog entries that were imported from elements 6, but I don't have any problem with catalog entries that lightroom brings in directly (either through "import photos from device" or by adding a new folder to the lightroom catalog).
So right now it looks like there is a problem with the elements catalog conversion.
Is this a problem that anybody else has seen? Any suggestions for getting around it?

Problem diplaying dng files converted in Lightroom

When I import my RAW files into Lightroom, I convert them to .dng files. They display just fine in Lightroom. However, when I try to open them in Irfanview or Thumbsplus, the image is broken up into broad hoizontal bands with some of the image missing betweeen the bands. I suspect that this is a windows problem since it happens with two different windows applications. Here is an example.
Anybody have an idea where this error comes from?

Thanks for your help. I did some searching on the ifanview forums. According to somone there, this problem can be avoided by disableing "fast load embedding" when importing RAW files. I have not been able to confirm this as I have not yet figured out how to import them without "fast load embedding". However, it seems like a nice feature that I don't want to disable. I guess, for now, I will just import my RAW files and not convert to .dng.
