Probleme photoshop CC 2014 et touche ALT
Bonjour,
J'ai un problème en utilisant Photoshop CC, tout fonctionne correctement mais dés que j'actionne la touche ALT, je ne peu plus dessiner 'Uniquement des lignes, comme si la souris restait en click maintenu) je ne peu plus sélectionner les calques, les poignées de transformation enfin tout plante.
J'ai pensé que c'était un souci de compatibilité avec ma tablette Wacom "bamboo pen and touch", je l'ai désinstallé, viré les pilotes, nettoyé mais cela ne résout rien.

Aprés avoir Bataillé 5 jours, j'ai enfin trouvé la Soluce :
J'utilise depuis toujours Synergy pour le pilotage de plusieurs PC avec un seul et même tandem clavier-souris.
Depuis la M à J Photoshop CC 2014, c'est lui qui me faisait planter l'appli.
Voilà si cela peut servir

I forgot to mention that I updated the graphics drivers last week which improved the heat situation- the graphics card in the laptop was cooking. That has gotten much better with the new driver.
But last night I did move the Photoshop scratch disk config around. I changed it from the internal C-drive to the external F-drive and things got noticeably better. I'm not sure if that is theoretically good (I always imagined the internal drive to be much faster than the external USB3 drive) but it may be a case that the internal drive is just being asked to do too much along with Windows typical demands.
Maybe another internal disk for the laptop? Or would that just add to the mess. I'll keep an eye on it with task manager. Can you recommend a decent third-party app to monitor resources? -
Photoshop CC 2014 Multi touch pinching, panning and rotating working, but no tapping!

I have installed today PS CC 2014, the Adobe team done a great job, multi touch is great, big buttons is great on my Vaio 13, and all is nice.
But guess what, I can't click (Single regular tap) with touch, I only can do it with a mouse or pen.
Now, I'm happy to hear the news and went ahead and ordered a 23 inch touchscreen from Acer, that touch screen doesn't support pen input, so I would love to have my single touch tap enabled on it.
Any ideas what to do about single touch tap, or dragging the brush to draw?I'm just curios if there's the option available now or not yet.
I'm not sure what's the benefits behind multi touch without being able to do a single touch or tap.
Not all tablets or touchscreens do actually have a pen. -
Installed Photoshop cc 2014 asks for serial # - corrupted Windows file permissions
More of a warning / heads up to all than a question - installing Photoshop cc 2014 [via the CC manager app] caused some Windows file (security) permissions to become corrupt corrupt on my system. Symptoms include cc2014 asking for serial number validation on startup (when, as a cloud version, it should not do so), then being unable to connect to the internet when you press the 'validate serial' button so getting that window into infinite loops, and - a real pain in the *** when trying to fix the above - causing abends of some windows shell functions that in turn cause windows explorer to crash and restart.
Anyhow, digging into this (fortunately, I am a long time Windows SysProg) I discovered that for reasons unknown, either the CC master app or the actual Photoshop cc2014 installer (or both) are changing file access control permissions on a number of files, mostly DLL's. Most of the files affected are in the (normally hidden) Program Data directory on the windows root disk, Some of them are in the Adobe subdirectory - so fair enough if they want to fool around with their own program - but others being changed are in the Common Files and Microsoft subdirectories. I cannot for the life of me figure out why this is necessary nor why Adobe feel the need to touch files that 'do not belong' to them - something dangerous in the extreme as an external app such as Windows Update might replace or 'repair' the files so touched, and if Adobe / CC are relying on file permissions on non-Adobe files, such changes could result in all manner of random and spurious problems / error messages occurring.
Anyhow, if, fellow Photoshop cc 2014 user, you get this happen to you then you can fix the file permissions by opening a console window [also called a "DOS box", or "command prompt" depending on your age and knowledge... 8-) ] and run the windows file checker with the command
"sfc /scannow". Make sure that you use 'run as administrator' to open the console window, or you'll get an error about sfc only being available to administrators. Also a very (very) sensible idea to close all non-essential running applications first to prevent any possibility of weird interactions happening.
Finally, check that the 'hosts' file in [root drive]:/Windows/System32/drivers/etc is valid - for some reason, it looks like the install tried to check or update this file (again, I have no idea why) but the result was a corrupted hosts file, which I assume is the root cause of the 'unable to connect to host' type internet error messages. Copy the file, rename it as 'hosts.txt' and edit it with notepad or wordpad. Look for lines containing garbage strings at the bottom of the file (any line that starts with a # ignore, it is a comment, and any line that has IP addresses or host names should be ignored - though if they reference a site such as "someserver.adobe.com" you might want to treat them with suspicion if you continue to get internet 'cant connect to site' type errors.
Anyhow, when I fixed these two sets of problems, Photoshop cc 2014 started 'right first time' without all the BS messages about serial numbers etc.
Hope this helps somebody out there in AdobeLand......
RickUpdate: I tried several times to reproduce the error, actually it dosen't occur. I changed nothing on my system, without reboot it twice. This is what I said in my beginning times: it occurs sometimes but often. I will keep you up to date.

En Photoshop cc con windows 8.1 pro y tableta Wacom pro los márgenes de la pantalla no están ajustados el puntero se desplaza fuera de los márgenes y aparece en el lado opuesto. Pero que se ha solucionado en Photoshop cc 2014 pero que han surgido nuevas incompatibilidades con la tableta Wacom pro, en concreto: el botón derecho de la tableta funciona como si hiciésemos un click. Los atajos de teclado de shift para modo de pincel y control para selección de capa no funcionan si no se mueve el lápiz, mientras que en la tecla alt existe un conflicto entre el cuenta gotas y selección de muestra. Tras múltiples actualizaciones del programa en mi caso todavía no se ha solucionado y así no se puede trabajar adecuadamente. Estos problemas no existían en versiones anteriores.
¿ Saben cuando se solucionarán los problemas de incompatibilidad ?

IT CRASHES FOR NO REASON, i can open the programme up and not use it still crashes, I have never had a problem with Windows. -
Photoshop CC 2014 having a problem with display driver then crashes computer
Since the Photoshop update in October most of the time when I open Photoshop CC 2014, either my computer crashes with the driver state power failure or the program is able to boot and provide an error message involving a problem with the display driver and then my computer crashes with the driver state power failure. I did not have this problem until the update in October. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to update your video driver from the website of the manufacturer of your video card. You cannot rely on Windows Update or Microsoft, which typically have outdated drivers. -
Photoshop CC 2014, A problem caused the program to stop working
When opening Photoshop CC 2014, I get "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly". Works fine on my home computer but the new one in the office has the error message. I have the latest cloud version of the program. I've updated the AMD/ATI display driver- first from the HP site supporting the Win 7 Pro laptop I'm working on(driver ver.13.2) and then from the AMD site (ver.14.1) I've installed all windows updates. Still get the same message followed by Photoshop closing itself out.
Has windows ever notified anyone of a solutionI think once Windows notified me of a solution (which was to update my video card driver). Most of the time you don't get a direct response, but submitting the report does give the engineers something to work with in order to try to find out what is causing the problem.
Anyway, there are about a million different things that can cause any application to return this generic error message. While you've already covered a couple of the possible solutions, there is still a ton of stuff to try. Since Photoshop is working on one computer but not the other, and knowing that Photoshop is exactly the same between both computers (assuming you are using the same version), then the question really becomes "what is different between the two computers?" So I download photoshop cc (2014) and when I go to open the program, it gives me an error message and shuts the program down. It says," A problem cause the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program." Can someone help me please?
I've got the same issue and it affects all my adobe software. You are not alone as I have seen several postings looking for the answer to this help request.

I am trying to use the trial creative cloud software on a PC windows 8.1 - I've downloaded and removed Photoshop CC 2014 two times - every time I open the file it says there is a problem and it shuts down and closes. I can open indesign and maybe other apps but photoshop no. Any ideas?
I don't think I can access the crash report? Excuse the ignorant questions I'm about to make am a relative tech novice.
Soo - as mentioned every time I open photoshop it crashes - it just says there's an error and the program will shut down and if there's a solution windows will notify me. Then nothing...
I've tried to look in photoshop files for the detailed crash report & the system event viewer but cannot find a file with those names. I've also looked in the windows files for files with those names but cannot find them either - so I don't know where to look.
Any guidance would be great. -
I'm using Photoshop cc 2014.21 I you save for Web and dialog box comes up that says that Photoshop is using Latin characters and that servers cannot recognize Latin characters in webpages and you may have trouble viewing these pages does anyone have an answer for this problem?
What Firefox version is currently installed on the computer?
You can find the full version of the current current Firefox release (37.0.2) in all languages and all operating systems here:

If you have a very old Firefox version then you could consider to uninstall that version to clean up existing registry keys (especial the uninstall key).
Make sure NOT to remove "personal data" when you uninstall Firefox, because that will remove all profile folders and you lose personal data like bookmarks and passwords including data in profiles created by other Firefox versions.
Check the Firefox program folder and remove the Firefox program folder if there are still files left in it.

It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.

Your bookmarks and other personal data are stored in the Firefox profile folder and won't be affected by an uninstall and (re)install, but make sure NOT to remove personal data when you uninstall Firefox as that will remove all Firefox profile folders and you lose your personal data.

I keep getting this message when I try to open my new Adobe Photoshop. The main screen comes on and a box for the tutorials then this. "Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly." When I say Okay to the message, it shuts down the program.

sign out and then back in to your cc desktop.

Performance problems with Photoshop CC 2014 in combination with the imac retina 5k
Hello,
I've been using the new imac retina, and i have enormous problems with the performance of Photoshop. If i for example use the selective color correction, this does not run smoothly. Other functions also work delayed. I noticed if i do not use Photoshop in full screen mode, everything goes back to normal. A friend used the predecessor model imac without 5k resolution, but has no problems. I suspect Photoshop has problems with the resolution of 5k.
Anyone here who has the same problem?

greetings ManuelI hope Adobe fixed this problems with the next updates! With this terrible performance i cannot work. I actually just bought the new iMac Retina, because my old model was too slow... and now the Photoshop Performance is slower than on my old iMac. I have read that other users who have also a 5k iMac, report on same problems. So i hope that a update or a solution for this problems come very quickly!
