Problemi dhcp con 2 linksys x3000 in cascata.

Salve a tutti, vengo subito al punto.ho acquistato 2 x3000 da poter collegarli tra loro con cavo lan per estendere la mia rete in due piani della casa.
Parto dicendo che il router 1 è quello connesso a internet mentre il router 2 è collegato lan al router 1.
Router 1:
192.168.0.1
255.255.255.0
Dhcp abilitato
Nat abilitato
Router 2:
192.168.0.3
255.255.255.0
Dhcp disabilitato o inoltro al router 1
Nat disabilitao.
Con questa configurazione tutti gli apparati(pc, smartphone, telecamere ip, nas, notebook) funzionano tutti alla perfezione MA dopo un po di tempo (circa 4 o 5 ore)nel router 2 non funziona più il dhcp e devo riavviarlo. Come mai??
Ho provato anche connetterli lan to wan oppure wan to wan ma poi non riesco più ad avere una rete unica impostando il router 2 con ip fisso in una sottorete es:router 1 192.168.0.1 e router 2 192.168.1.1 COSA SBAGLIO?
I firmware sono aggiornati e ho anche acquistato un router ea2700 pensando che 2 linksys x3000 non siano compatibili tra loro.
Potete aiutarmi con la configurazione del router 1 linksys x3000 con router ea2700? Tutti e 2 router devono avere il wifi abilitato e rete windows visibile.

Linksys X3000 - get internal IP from DHCP server

Hi,
I have Linksys X3000 router. I would like to use it as a wireless AP. I have disabled the NAT and the DHCP, but is it possible to set the routers ip from an other DHCP server. When I set up the router it always asks for it's own IP address.
The other server is connected on one of the LAN sockets. The WAN socket is not used. Thank you for the reply.

The router (X3000) uses a static IP address. Even if you disable its DHCP server and NAT, you will still have to assign it a Local IP address. The computers/devices that are connected to the X3000 will get their IP addresses from the main router's DHCP server but the X3000 will have to use a static IP address that you will assign to it. If the main router's IP address is 192.168.1.1, give the X3000 and IP address of 192.168.1.x.

Hi I'd like some assitance in increasing my download an dupload speeds of my Linksys X3000.
Mian reason I want to increase them for include:
1- TwitchTV hardly ever loads properly for me, what methods can I go about to make it stream normally?
2- Here's my SpeedTest results:

I'd like to increase my upload speed as I never manage to get a good connection with friends from the mid east and in europe and USA when I play on my PS3. As is, my upload speed based on the PS3's Network Test is between 0.5-0.7 MBPS but never goes higher than that.

Port forwarding or on turning on DMZ would help if your issue is regarding unable to connect to server and the like. If your concern is regarding slow download and upload speed, then you need to ask your internet server provider if how much speed they are giving you. In the event that the problem is with the router then you can try the following:

Linksys X3000: External internet users can no more access my web pages

I have web server setting behind the Linksys ADSL modem, I set the DMZ IP to my web server IP so the external internet users can access my web pages.
This setup was working fine until I switched to “Linksys X3000” modem, external internet user can no more access my web pages.
I had set the DMZ IP correctly in the new modem. The local LAN users can access the pages without any problem.
Any idea what is the problem?

The ability of the external computer to ping the router’s WAN ip address is vital in accessing the devices/applications behind the router remotely. With such, you need to have “Filter Anonymous Internet Requests” unchecked. Another thing to consider is the way DMZ was set; make sure that you have set “Any IP Address” for the source ip address and have indicated the web server’s ip address for the destination ip address.

Linksys X3000 does not work properly in bridge mode

Hi there.
I have some trouble with my X3000, and I am not able to figure out what's wrong.
This is the case:
I have an ADSL-connection. I am going to use the X3000 as a modem only, and connect a router to it in bridge mode. Seems simple enough, but sometimes the router just don't seem to be able to get an IP from the ISP. The X3000 is set to "Bridged mode only", and DHCP-server is disabled, as well as the wireless network. When I connect the router to one of the ethernet ports nothing happens (other than one of the LEDs lights up, depending on which port I put the cable in). I then try to reboot the X3000, but that doesn't help.
The funny thing is that if I try to connect my computer to the modem I sometimes get an IP straight away, and if I connect the router again it still doesn't get an IP.
This has also happened the opposite way; sometimes the router gets IP, but my computer doesn't if I connect it directly to the X3000.
What is going on?

OSX 10.5.7 seems to mess up DHCP on my Linksys WRT54G2

Our config: home, wired and wireless LAN. 2 PC's with Win on Wired Lan. 2 MBPs (one new and one old) working on both wired and wireless. And some other less used machines like an old Mac. O, and Xbox, Xbox360. Router Linksys WRT54G2.
All of this has been working for months. Router is setup to provide LAN-devices IP via DHCP.
I also use my new MBP while commuting: it then uses wireless internet.
Since i upgraded to 10.5.7 it seems that whenever i connect my MBP to the LAN, the router doesn't issue an IP-address to my Mac (my Mac self assigns an 169.xxx-address. Worse: all other machines on the LAN loose their IP-address! I need to reboot the Linksys a couple of times, and then it works again ... I think there even was a time the problem occured some time later, while i was still working & connected.
Is it really me/my MBP? Well, it looks like it, since as long as i'm not home, the family is happily connecting their machines to the internet without problems.
First i thought it might be the router, so i upgraded to the latest Linksys. Did not help. I have searched the internet for a couple of weeks now. I have tried creating a new location on my Mac: did not help. I have tried switching from DHCP to DHCP+Manual IP and back (read that somewhere): did not help.
I wish i could role back the update, and see whether that would solve the problem, so i know for sure it is this 10.5.7 update that is causing the problem. But after trying all kinds of things for a couple of weeks now, it really looks to be the 10.5.7 upgrade.
Anybody with ideas? If i need to provide more info, please let me know what i left out. And please don't assume i haven't tried the obvious, even if i forgot to mention it here. But if in doubt, ask me, and i'll let you know .

The WRT54G2 is a brand new Linksys. I know Linksys for being a good brand, and assume the fact it concerns a new model, should mean basic stuff like DHCP should not be a problem. On the other hand i know everything is possible with computers . That said: i did an upgrade to the newest router firmware on purpose: i did not in the 1st place look for the problem with 10.5.7. But after having tried to rule out everything else, and having noticed the problem started (as i recall) the moment i had upgraded, i think 10.5.7 plays a role.
I thought to post my experience and idea here, to see whether other people have similar problems. That might eventually lead to a solution.
I will (did not yet do that) also post my problem at the Linksys-forum, as i agree, it might be the combination.
But it does look like something changed in the network parts of 10.5.7 compared to its predecessor. And i would hope some engineer would know what that change is and be able to explain what the problem might be?
I know changing anything is a risk. But also that upgrades most of the time need to be applied for security reasons? You say: make a backup. What is the easiest way to do that? I normally backup my data, but not the whole system. I would hope it would be possible to role back any update; that would be good engineering?
Anyway: the problem still exists, and any help is welcomed! If my post at Linksys leads to a resolution, i will post it here.

Can't access certain websites with my new Linksys X3000 router

I installed a X3000 yesterday. I notice I can't access parts of certain websites - it seems to be just those parts of each site where a logon/password is required.
My wireless dongle on the same laptop works OK, so it seems to be a router problem?

Lumia 2520 WiFi connection problems - dhcp fails

I have problems connecting to my work wifi network, the tablet connects to the network but fails to get IP address with DHCP. It actually fails to find DHCP server. If I enter the IP settings manually - everything starts working.
Moreover, I have the same problems with my lumia 920 here, it fails to connect at all.
All other devices in our office including android, iphone, ipad and windows notebooks are connecting just fine.

I have the same problem, and while I have no solution I have found that if you put it into Airplane Mode, turn the Wifi on then take it off Airplane mode you dont have to reboot. It seems to happen only with my router at home when I am a fair way away from it (it goes through walls too). My wife has a 920 and it doesnt happen to her at all! Seems a obscure issue from my reading - do you have a first release 920 like I do?

my listener.ora looks like this :

I notes that whenever somebody tries to connect from a remote computer to my db, I've got this windows error on my XP : "TNSLSNR.EXE has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." and my listener (11G_DB_1_LIST) stops. the same error I had when I tried to use OEM...
what can I do ? except reinstall everything ?

Please Help -- Problem w/ ITunes Sharing & Linksys Router on PC

Hi All I appreciate any feedback.
1. I'm no novice..I know how to set up sharing...I had it working before...did some stuff with linksys last week, and now nothing works.
2. I CAN see my other cpu's. I can ping them. I can go to a mapped drive and select a song and play it thru Itunes on my other computer just fine, but the problem is I can't play music thru Itunes sharing. (can't bring up songs, playlists, Podcats, or anything, thru sharing)
3. Both CPU's have latest Itunes update
4. I messed around with the multicast filter, as well as windows firewall enabled/disabled on both machines and none of the above are working. (tried port forwarding on the router as well w/ Itunes Port #'s and that didn't work)
5. It seems like every time I open my cpu on the NON sharing cpu the left side nav has my share folder in it...it hangs..the songs come up, and it disappears right away, giving me No Access to my sharing.
6. I have no password enabled on Sharing
7. Linksys wireless router
8. Both machines are XP SP2
9. I can open and play a music from the sharing computer by going thru windows explorer and play an mp3 on my wireless cpu...so this is weird...
Only problem is sharing won't work...I can't see it in Itunes
Any tips would be appreciated.

Delusione per problemi continui con i phone 5 c

Voglio segnalare la mia esperienza negativa con un i phone 5 c che, fin dall'inizio, mi ha dato problemi durante le chiamate: io sento la voce dell'altra persona mentre l'altra persona mi sente a tratti....tutto ciò è molto irritante tanto più che un telefono dovrebbe servire principalmente a comunicare!!!
Ciò detto, constatato questo problema nel telefono, inizia la mia odissea negli apple store, che dura ormai da svariati mesi durante i quali l'apparecchio è stato sostituito 3 volte.
La prima volta è stato constatato un problema tecnico, all'esito della diagnosi effettuata, e mi è stato conseguentemente sostituto il telefono. Effettuato a casa il backup dei dati, dopo qualche tempo il telefono ricomincia a dare lo stesso problema.
Mi reco di nuovo all'apple store dove mi suggeriscono, previa sostituzione dell'apparecchio, di non rieffettuare il backup dei vecchi dati ma di reinstallare app e dati da capo, con conseguente perdita di molti dati.
Dopo poco il telefono ricomincia a dare sempre lo stesso problema; ritorno all'apple store; di nuovo mi suggeriscono di reinstallare tutto da capo stavolta però provando a vedere quale app poteva interferire col sistema...altri disagi! Ogni giorno una app nuova, come se dovessi verificare io tecnicamente i problemi del telefono. Cambio anche la sim per evitare problemi derivanti dal gestore (operazione che ha un costo, ovviamente).
Nemmeno questa soluzione risolve il problema; torno all'apple store, ormai sfiduciata e molto arrabbiata e mi suggeriscono di creare un nuovo id apple perchè magari il vecchio poteva essere associato a qualche problematica o interferenza pregressa; dunque, riprovo, per l'ennesima volta, a reinstallare tutto da capo, perdendo ovviamente molti dati e sfinita da questi continui problemi.
Spero di aver risolto con questa ultima soluzione; invece no, qualche giorno fa.....DI NUOVO LO STESSO PROBLEMA!
Ora: se voglio un telefono diverso, anche un modello precedente, mi dicono che non si può fare; potrei avere la sostituzione dell'apparecchio all'infinito, ma mi si ripresenta sempre lo stesso difetto! Io sono disperata, non so che fare!
Possibile che la apple non abbia nulla da offrire in alternativa ad un telefono che, evidentemente, ha delle problematiche??
Io sono sconcertata e pur essendo un'affezionata cliente apple, a seguito di questa disavventura, mi sto ricredendo sulla serietà dell'azienda.

Dal finder vado nel server aziendale in rete lan, apro cartelle e file ecc,
Se però provo a fare una ricerca in una cartella sul server non trova i file (ricerca a zero) infatti quando inserisco il nome di un file non me ne visualizza più nessuno.
Il nome del file ovviamente ho controllato è corretto
Prima con snow Leopard il problema non c'era

Problemi gps con iOS 8.3

Salve ho installato iOS 8.3 e adesso sia nell' iphone 6 che nell' 5 ho problemi di ricezione gps all' chiuso, mentre all' aperto ci mette un po di più a trovare la mia posizione ma dopo un po la trova, questo con tutte le app. con mappe e con siri.
Ora mi chiedo chi di voi ha questo problema?
ci sono soluzioni o bisogna aspettare la nuova relise di iOS per risolvere il problema.
io le ho provate di tutte senza nessun risultato ho addirittura contattato la apple al servizio clienti ma nulla......
