Problems accessing account!

I have had no service - calls or texts - available all day , and assumed the tmobile network was down. However after trying to access my account , the following comes up , with no access to anything...
   ''Alerts and messages
You will no longer be able to access your primary mobile number via My T-Mobile
Warning your billing account has been cancelled or closed. You may review bills or make final payment only''
As my mobile is my only phone , I can't phone anyone to enquire. Yesterday , a man from Carphone Warehouse called and - as my 2 years were almost up - put me on a new deal. Would this be connected? Why do i not have access to my number?
Thanks in advance!

Hi there and thanks for the reply
After numerous phone calls , it turns out they did indeed switch my sim off , and then the new activated sim and phone went missing for a while! I have the new phone now and all is well.
The only problem now is when I access the EE online account it says my Date of Birth doesn's match the one on record!
I'm going to have to find a way of contacting them...
Thanks again :-)

After updating my ipod, i can no longer access my itunes account. Why?

Just what are you try to do?
What happens when you do that?
What iOS did you update to?

  • Problem accessing account.

I tried to change my user ID after my email account was hacked. I am unable to do so because I cannot remember my password. I cannot change my password because my birthdate is incorrect. What can I do?

Yup The DREADED Error (-4) - An Unknown Error has Occurred.
Basically you cannot sign-in, view downloaded rentals, check for downloads, or view purchase history (which by the way is the fast track avenue to report issues with the itunes store.)

Maybe they're patching their servers but what gives...
phobos.apple.com seems to be up, so the answers it gives back to iTunes are invalid.
To Apple: Why not just post a outage notification, or maintenance notice...
Instead of saying "Hey if you lost access for less than 24 hours, visit the forums, and check if others have too... " - Official solution from apple
"Maybe the store is down" maybe not, apple does not care to comment.

  • Problems accessing both sites in safari and itunes store account

I hope someone might be able to help me solve two really frustrating issues.
About three weeks ago, my safari browser stopped working properly (e.g I can no longer access a number of websites - usually with a .com suffix (e.g. www.pocruises.com and msn.com and others are slow to load). I had downloaded no new third party software, but had downloaded software updates on 26 January (Java for mac update 6, security update 2010-001 and the iphoto update). When I attempt to load a site, the address just hangs. I have seen a number of similar queries on the discussion forum, but I don't fully understand the technical aspects of some of the answers. I have cleared the cache, reset safari, tried launching from applications and even repaired permissions, but nothing has worked. I downloaded firefox, but was also unable to access these sites through that browser either.
On 7 February, I downloaded the latest version of itunes (9.0.3) and now I am unable to access my itunes store account. When I enter my apple ID and password nothing happens. This means I am unable to fully sync my iphone (i.e. for apps >10mb) and cannot download the latest version of the iphone software. On the advice of itunes support, I have completely uninstalled itunes and reinstalled, though that took 4 attempts because of the safari problem mentioned above, but this has made no difference. Incidentally, I have no problem accessing the itunes store through my iphone.
Can anyone please help a very frustrated (and otherwise happy) mac user?
    Cameron

    Hi Bee,
The most recent "Safari" crash log dates back to December last year - I can't remember having problems that far back, but here it is anyway. I was beginning to suspect that my safari problems were affecting itunes, though that certainly worked fine until I downloaded the most recent version - 9.0.3 and that was just a few weeks ago.
I suppose the other question is whether an upgrade to snow leopard would solve these problems better rather than a reinstall of the current version (if that becomes necessary?)

  • SCCM 2012 Network Access Account password problem

    Hello Everyone,
I got a problem with the Network Access Account on SCCM 2012. I didn't have any problem previously and can deploy OS successfully. The problem started last week when I tried to deploy an OS. It gave me a error on Task Sequence then I searched for the error
and found that its related with the Network Access Account. On SCCM Config Manager I checked the Network Access Account and found that I had the wrong password. But the bigger problem starts here: on configManager Administration/Security/accounts window
I open my NAS properties and on the verify window tried to reach a simple network share and it says the password is wrong, then I change the password and tried to verify one more time and it successfully reaches the share, I simply click apply and
OK as usual but when I open the properties window I always see the old password stays there. I tried to change the password maybe 100 time but I didn't work. My NAS is a normal domain account with Domain Users permissions, I ve already
checked the password, account and password never expires options, they are all rightly configured. I also tried to make a new account to use as a NAS, then I set it on SCCM as a NAS but the result is always the same. Accounts
have wrong password and I cant change and save it. Actually I can change till I close the properties window then its all gone , reset to old wrong password. Please help me with that, I am googling it like 2 days and found that the same thing happened
to 2 other people, but there is no solution...

That workaround seems to work.  Only verify when you first type the password and get the success/confirmation message.  Once you hit OK to save the password, something happens to it (probably encrypts the password entered). If you open the account
settings again, I assume SCCM takes the password from the database or task sequence in it's encrypted form and presents that in the text boxes.  Clicking OK will save the password again, but because it is presented in it's encrypted form, will re-encrypt
this as a new password and effectively change what you originally entered as the password.  Again, I'm just assuming this based on what I observed. If it's true, then definately a bug.
I think this is pretty correct. This whole (non?)-issue was a massive red-herring for me. I spent a week trying to understand what was wrong, but eventually discovered the issue was a couple of steps down the line. SCCM errors on the surface level are pretty
consistently confusing. 9 times out of ten, I have been lead astray by them. Crack open your log files, your real problems will be in there.

  • Blackberry hub on Z10 not working, cant access accounts.

    Hello
I got a Z10 a few weeks ago, today the BlackBerry Hub has stopped receiving emails. It's still showing texts and Facebook notifications. When I try to view just one account it says it's on that account but still shows all the hub messages.
I recently added a Gmail account, so perhaps this is causing a problem, but I cannot access my accounts to change anything now. When I try to access accounts I just get a blank screen for a while then it goes back to the menu.
I have restarted it but it made no difference.
Haven't had a Blackberry before and have no idea what to try - would appreciate any help!
    Thanks
    Kay

    Hi Kay
Sorry for late reply. Have you try to reboot your device? Try to reboot in this way, when the device is powered on and connected to the wall charger, pull out the battery and leave it for 20 minutes. Then insert it again. Reboot in this way will eliminate any program error.
But if the problem persist, you need to proceed to wipe your Z10. Go to Setting>Security and Privacy>Security Wipe. Leave your sim card and media card out before doing this wipe process.
Don't forget to backup your data first. Wipe will delete all your contacts, email accounts and downloaded apps.
When the wipe process has completed, use wifi connection to the initial setup with both sim card and sd card still out. After finish, turn it off and insert both media's to your device.
Good luck and inform us the result.

  • Server 10.4.4, administrator account has "access account" disabled

    Hi,
I allowed a new tech to add users to our Xserve. Somehow he disabled the check box "access acount" in workgroup manager for the only administrator account. It now appears we cannot turn this back on! The end result is you can only access workgroup manager locally.Remote desktop and VNC now won't work. We can't re-enable the "access account" option for the administrator account or create new administrators as our only administrator account is now not active. I have no idea why you should be able to do this, but duplicated the problem on a test machine. If you create an admin account and uncheck the box "access acount" then the server can no longer be adminstrated!
    Any ideas?
    Dave

    answered my own question.

  • Is Verizon unwilling or unable to fix problem with Account Owner(s)

A forum or Google search reveals several customers unhappy with how Verizon treats the account owners... count me as one.  I'm sure there are many more customers who were equally unhappy but just accept Verizon's incompetence and complete the unnecessary gymnastics of un-registering accounts and then re-registering with a new username.
    PROBLEM:
There are numerous scenarios that can cause a My Verizon account to have the Account Owner be listed with an incorrect telephone number.  In my case, I had an account with AT&T and 3 additional numbers associated.  As each account expired, I transferred the numbers to Verizon.  The first account transferred was my 14yr old son.  I registered a My Verizon account for management (my name & my userid) and eventually added the additional numbers, however, the Account Owner's phone number is listed as my son's cell.
Over the past 2 years (since I migrated to Verizon), I've had small problems with account notifications and other information being text to my son's cell.  I've called numerous times and customer service says it's corrected, but eventually the problems return.  Recently, I upgraded my phone and started using some new services like Backup Assistant and the fact that the Account Owner is associated with an incorrect number has caused even more trouble.
I simply want to keep my existing username for My Verizon and correct the cell phone number associated as the Account Owner.  This should be extremely simple.
    VERIZON'S SOLUTION:
"We can't do it".  "Our systems don't allow us to make this change".
The Customer Service Department (or Lack of Customer Service Department) tells me that since they can't or are unwilling to do the necessary changes, their only solution is to force their customer to do their work.  They will un-register the account and I can register again.  There is no concern for the preferences of an existing customer (almost 3 years); there is no concern for the inconvenience caused to an existing customer who spends hundreds of dollars each month and thousands of dollars each year (I currently have 2 separate accounts with Verizon, 4 phones on my problem account and 4 phones on another for a total of 8 phones with data plans... do the math); there is no concern that I will now have to use a completely different username one that is no longer uniform with my other accounts; there is no concern that I will have to change any and all services that reference My Verizon.  Quite simply... Verizon Wireless shows their Account Owners that they have no concern for us.
    PROPER SOLUTION:
I have almost 25 years of Information Technology experience and over 3 years working with Call Centers (similar to Verizon's Customer Service), which explains in part why I find this so frustrating...  the fix for this is SIMPLE!!!  The real problem is that Verizon simply doesn't care enough to fix it because we are existing customers and not new customers.
Without going into specifics (nor could I since I don't have access to their systems), data for the My Verizon portal is contained within modifiable databases.  These relational databases will be tied to other systems and other databases, but a modification of this type would just require that the portal be allowed to make the update to the appropriate field(s) within the appropriate database(s).  If direct access is not attainable because of their design, it is still not too difficult to write an additional process to accommodate this change.  These types of things are done everyday.
More importantly, even if Verizon was unable or unwilling to make these programming changes...  I have no doubt that if Customer Service has an escalation process to their I.T. Department that a programmer with access to the application(s) and/or database(s) could easily make the change directly and almost immediately.
    CONCLUSION:
Until now, my experience with Verizon has been mostly positive even to the point of recommending the carrier to friends and family.  I've found their coverage area to meet my needs and the data speeds to be more than satisfactory.  However, Verizon needs to remember that cellular service has essentially become a commodity and that customer retention is often based on other things than simply providing dial tone.  With a monthly cell phone expense that rivals a car payment, I would think that Verizon would be more than willing to accommodate such a simple request to maintain a satisfied customer.
If you too are one of the many customers having issue with modifying the Account Owner, just resolve yourself that it appears Verizon is unwilling to make the simple correction to the My Verizon portal to satisfy our request.

I'm not 100% sure that I follow your reasoning, so please correct me if I misstate your opinions.  I've numbered them so it will be easier to identify any mistakes I make.
    1.  Not allowing a user, customer service representative, or any Verizon representative to change the cell phone number associated with the Account Owner to another cell phone number on the same account is a security risk.
I'm not suggesting that I be allowed to change the name, social security number, or any other pertinent details related to establishing the original account.  All the information pertaining to who is responsible for the bill remains the same with the single exception that the current associated cell phone number be changed to another number already listed on the account.  In what possible manner is this a security risk?  Frankly if the ability was enabled and someone either by mistake or incompetence made such a change the impact would simply be what I'm currently experiencing (inconvenience).  Since in this hypothetical situation the ability to change this value is enabled, the "inconvenience" would easily be re-mediated by returning the value to its original state.
Furthermore, if there is some "security risk" that I'm over looking then an organization that is concerned about providing quality customer service would create procedures to accommodate customer requests and meet security requirements.  Let's use a bank (with an obvious security vulnerability) and debit cards as an example.  If I lose my debit card, I cannot go to my computer and print out a temporary debit card (very user friendly, but not secure).  Some banks will allow you to go online and cancel the lost debit card while requesting a new one to be mailed to the address you have on file (user friendly and mostly secure).  To solve this same problem at other banks might require you to go into the office and sign a form cancelling the lost debit card and confirming the address to mail you a new one (less user friendly, but highly secure).  The Verizon equivalent, is me requesting that I add an existing bank account to my online banking and being told "We can't do it".  However, because the bank cares so much about keeping me as a customer... they will delete my account, allow me to create another, possibly losing my historical data, have me change my username that I've been using for years, spend time adding all my online bill payments... all for the pleasure of staying their customer and getting to use their services as they should have been designed.
    2.  Making a software change that would allow users or CSR's to associate a different cell phone number on the account to the current Account Owner would be difficult and require downtime.
You give some time expounding this thought and I'm unaware of your web, application, and/or database experience... but I will try to address your concerns later.  However, let's assume that you are correct and these changes will be difficult ("taking weeks to months").  The purpose of my post was whether Verizon was unwilling or unable to accommodate this customer request.  You seem to be agreeing that Verizon is unwilling to make these changes, or at the very least, feel that Verizon has decided that the time and expense involved is of more importance than correcting an issue impacting their customers.  I personally find the later equally disheartening as this has been an issue for many customers (you yourself mention experiencing the problem) and has been well documented through previous forum and Internet posts.  Even by your estimations, if they had taken previous customer complaints seriously... this would have been fixed by now.  Once again it seems the obvious answer is that Verizon may not consider customer service as an important factor as I do.
As far as your technology issues, I agree that more than a web page change would be required.  I do take issue with comparing the change of a distributed application (operating system) that must be designed to support enumerable hardware components to the work required to makes changes to a web portal with a back-end in-house database.  You could write an entire book detailing the differences between these two scenarios as they have very little in common, but I'll try to keep it focused to your points.
    Coding
Coding an Operating System that must run on literally a multitude of hardware configurations and support an unending diversity of applications is an incredible endeavor and really never a finished product.  Changes to an OS are constantly being made and the developers must consider hardware and software that they are not intimately familiar and occasionally even deal with 3rd parties to facilitate changes.
The change I'm advocating has a web component which would be replicated throughout their web server topology, however, these are items that Verizon's developers deal with routinely (if not daily).  There are a very limited number of 3rd party concerns (a few different browsers, IE, Chrome, Mozilla & a disparate platforms such as PC, tablet, phone).  A little research in the benefits of web portals (and cloud computing) verses distributed applications will clearly outline the drastic differences.  A simple illustrative question (though maybe not a completely fair analogy) is how many people do you know who can code an operating system and how many people get on GoDaddy and create their own web pages.  I'm not trying to insinuate that anyone who knows a little HTML can make the web portal changes, however, this isn't a difficult project for an experienced developer.
The bigger issues and ones that I alluded to in my original post are the changes that would be required to Verizon's back-end databases.  The changes that would need to be made mostly likely involve multiple databases and assuming they are using a typical relational database design might require changes to key fields, adding new databases/tables, and exhaustive integrity checks.  This isn't something that an average user could sit down and accomplish in an hour, however, these are simply the routine day-to-day duties of any professional database developer.
Again I reiterate... this change simply involves allowing someone (either a user, CSR, or other Verizon agent) to readily change an index record or records that correlates Account Owner to cell phone number.  In terms of database management this should be simple.
    Debugging & Deployment
The debugging/testing of changes made to an Operating System are amazingly complex for all the aforementioned reasons.  The deployment of such changes is even more complex in that you've got to develop the mechanism to push these changes out to the entirety of the user community.  I'll address deployment (or as you said dispersal) of this change because it's the easiest... quite simply there isn't one.  The benefit of having a centralized web portal like My Verizon is that users come to you, not the other way around, and any change made will immediately be accessible by the user community.  There is a deployment aspect in that My Verizon doesn't exist on a single web server, but again this is just the typical topology for a portal of this size and not relevant to our discussion.  Debugging/Testing is an important aspect of any change and certainly Verizon has this methodology in place, however, I'll reiterate that this change should not be complex and shouldn't require extensive testing.  We've also already discussed the fact that any debugging/testing only has to take place on a limited number of platforms.
    Downtime
If adding the ability to change the relationship of the Account Owner to an associated cell phone number requires any downtime... the person responsible for Verizon's Development, Beta, and Production environments should be fired.  There is simply no way this is even a possible concern.  I've dealt with many companies with far less resources than Verizon and I assure you that changes of this nature would never require down time.  I'm sure they have staff in place whose sole responsibility is to work on their continuity plan.  This is a non issue.
    Other Carriers
You can't possibly know how all carriers operate, though you may have some past experience with other companies.  I would contend (and maybe I'm too optimistic) that a company with a focus on customer satisfaction when made aware of complaints and/or limitations in their service would seek to rectify the issue.  It's quite possible that whatever other company you are referencing has fixed this issue if indeed it was similar... especially since I've hopefully bolstered my opinion that the resolution is not overly complicated.
Would you mind telling me if you deleted your 2 original comments to my post before I had an opportunity to answer?  The reason I ask is that last night another user (jimfitzgerald) had posted a comment and I replied.  He later posted a 2nd comment and while writing my response... all the posts were removed (his 2 posts, my reply, and your 2 posts).  I'm curious if this was just a user withdrawal (though I really wish my response had remained in the thread), if there was some sort of technical issue with these forums last night, or if my response was deleted for cause by Verizon or other admin.   Thanks!

  • SCCM 2012 R2 - Distribution Point untrusted domain - Not acknowledging Network Access Account (FYI)

    Hello!
    Scenario
Built a single primary site server in one domain with multiple distribution points. All site servers are member of this one site.
The distribution points in the primary site servers' domain function as expected. The distribution point deployed to an untrusted domain does not. The primary site server can see all objects in the domain, publishes successfully, and CCM client on the
DP in the untrusted domain knows its part of the site, knows its AD site (according to locationservices.log). The DP role is installed properly, logs are populating, queries are being made for application lists and updates. nfortuantely authentication
errors indicate that this software can'tbe downloaded.
In essence the DP in the untrusted domain can't pull down content from the primary site server. The role uses BITS to download content from IIS on the primary site server, but the requests each throw a 401 error. Unauthorised. This should be an easy fix.
Create a Network Access Account in the primary site server's domain, assign it to the site (Software Distribution setting), wait for the DP to pick up the setting and watch it retrieve its content. The DP in the untrusted domain is configured as a Pull DP,
implying it has to use a Network Access Account to download content. It knows the content is available and makes every effort to download it.
    Problem
The DP in the untrusted domain doesn't know a Network Access Account (NAA) has been defined for the site.
The account does exist, created in the primary site server's domain and assigned to the site. Its not a password issue. IIS has not been set for Anonymous access as this isn't needed - the NAA should provide the credentials it requires to pull down content.
A manual check using the URL of the package confirms the package is accessible from the DP when using the NAA's credentials. I've allowed enough time (i think) for the DP to acknowledge the NAA. For fun the DP role was removed, and the CCM agent removed. Both
were reinstalled. A fresh install didn't detect the NAA.
    Solution
After some soul searching and a little frustration, it came down to this: A Pull DP always uses the Network Access Account. If the DP can't find a Network Access account it will fail to pull down content. This is undisputed. Found an article that states
the Pull DP always uses the CCM client configuration to do its dirty work. At that point the CCM client was checked. It had the classic problem of only displaying two Actions - Machine Policy Retrieval & Evaluation Cycle, User policy Retrieval & Evaluation
Cycle. Most components were installed but not enabled. This is fairly common. Looked at the console, found the device, added the Approval column. Turns out it wasn't auto-approved. Reason being that the client is in an untrusted domain and clients in untrusted
domains aren't approved automatically (by default).
In this case something as simple as an Approving the client fixed these issues.
    The DataTransferService.log highlights the issue:

  • Problem accessing another public ip in same subnet

    Hi,
I have searched around for a previous post regarding this but can't find an issue similar to mine (or I'm just too stupid to understand that it is )
I have a Cisco 5505 at a small business that I help. The problem is that the ISP are providing public IPs to multiple customers in a /24 subnet. The ASA has a single public IP configured 8.8.8.8 (not really, just for the examples sake) with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0.
The webserver I have to access is not managed by me and is located in a different location (same town though) has 8.8.8.115, it is located in the same subnet as the ASA.
How would I make this work? I have tried to configure a static arp entry for the web server but it just won't work. If i place a computer directly on the outside interface I have no problem accessing the web server.
I am running ASA version 8.2, but I could upgrade if it would help me solve the problem.
Any help with this issue is much appreciated.

The ISP only specify one gateway in that range and that is 8.8.8.1 so any other would not let me access internet.
Once again thank you for your time.

  • Problem with Account determination

    Hi all.
I have a problem with account determination when I change some data in Tcode VKOA.
    For example:
I made changes in VKOA to determine G/L account 0000523201 and it worked it.
But in the account document the account that is displayed is different (0000501000) and I don´t know why.
I checked the Analysis Account Determination in VF03 and the system found the correct account in the access sequence, but I realized that there is a second line with the message G/L account in document 0000501000 . Where do I determine this account, or how Can I fix it ?
    Thanks for any help.
    Renato

    Hi reanto
Check in VKOA all the G/L accounts for all the respective account keys. Also check wheather any provisional G/L account have been maintained or not. for any account key
Also check wheather twice if you have maintained for the same account key different G/L accounts
    Regards

  • I'm having a problem accessing Bupers Online using my CAC reader. I get an error that says safari can't establish a secure connection to the website. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I am having a problem accessing Bupers Online on OS X Mountain Lion. I get an error that says Safari cant establish a secure connection with Bupers Online. Does anyone have any tips to access Bupers?

I don't use CAC certificates, but since updating to 10.9.3, I too am getting the same error, BUT only with some HTTPS sites (e.g., https://webmail.pairlite.com), not all. Meanwhile, Firefox (was 12.0, now 29.0.1) connects with no issue.
I too have verified date/time is set automatically, checked for (and fixed) disk integrity errors and permissions, and rebooted, all to no avail.
    Update:
Well...heck. Tried accessing the problematic site via the Guest account, and that WORKED. So...back to the drawing board.

  • 2012 R2 OSD refresh WinPE Network Access Account issue?

    Hi,
    Environment: SCCM 2012 R2/MDT2013
Since upgrading to R2 we're experiencing failures during an OS refresh task sequence. But only in one physical location.
The same MDT task sequence runs fine for new computer builds (in both locations)
Hardware is identical in both locations. One location completes the refresh correctly. The other location prestages content correctly, reboots into WinPE then immediately fails as soon as it attempts to download the first item (MDT toolkit package) from
    the distribution point.
SMSTS.log (below) logs 'no credential information in environment' and fails when attempting to pull from the dp.
This implies the network access account is not set.
It is set and it works correctly at the other location (for the same refresh task sequence)
I know that R2 allows for multiple network access accounts. We've made no changes. We're just using the same account we used before the upgrade.
Boundaries are set correctly. Not sure what else to look for.

The only information I can find on this regarding 2012 R2 is what Torsten posted in his blog. Although he doesn't post a solution to the problem.
I believe there needs to be a KB hotfix released regarding the issue. at least some steps we can take to resolve it.
the only thing I haven't tried that I believe could help is to recreate the boot images from scratch instead of just re distributing them to the DP. From scratch using the latest 8.1 ADK WinPE tools.
Other info: when the SCCM 2012 R2 update became available, the 8.1 ADK that was available at the time had many bugs and was re released almost immediately!:
    http://www.deploymentresearch.com/Research/tabid/62/EntryId/114/Windows-ADK-8-1-re-released.aspx
I only mention this because in my case, I updated my SCCM server to R2 within hours of the update becoming available which means I most likely had the "bad" 8.1 ADK before the re released it            ^
recreating the boot images from the newly downloaded 8.1 ADK could be the solution to our problems!
This is the best guide that I have found about how to create boot images from scratch (meaning that no current media on the server is used to create the boot image(s)) :
     http://myitforum.com/myitforumwp/2013/08/01/how-to-create-configmgr-2012-boot-images-from-scratch/
For now, the only work around (which I hate) is to enable anonymous access to the Distribution Point.. when I do this the task sequences complete without error.....
some input from Microsoft would be AMAZING at this point.

  • Error message when accessing account/ contact list

    Hi experts,
One of our users encountered this error message when accessing account and contact list.

Weird thing is she has exact the same user set up as others (same role, privilege, pagelayout, etc), but only she got this problem.
Does anyone know how to fix this, please?
    Thanks,
    Sabrina

Sabrina, I would recommend contacting On Demand customer care in reference to this issue.
