Problems activating Photoshop Elements 13 - how to activate?

I have tried using the "chat" and even after about 8 hours chatting have still not managed to get my PE13 activated!   The error message states that either I have no internet connection (which I have) or that my clock is wrong (which it is not).   Adobe help line have still not responded to my account queries so has anyone any ideas about how to solve this particular, and annoying, dilemma?   Apparently this is not a unique situation as I have heard at least another 3 similar examples but still not resolved the problem!

    Unfortunately, only adobe can help you with that, as most people here are just posters such as your self and don't work for adobe.
    If you go here and use the Chat now button (bottom of page), they should get you up and running by resetting your activations.

  • Problem with Photoshop Elements Printing

    I have been using Photoshop Elements for a couple of years now and know it pretty well.  Today while attempting to print, a strange problem came up:  After going through the protocol to make a print, just before the image prints PE does a very fast auto correction that basically ruins all the color correction I have made on the image.  How do I disable this function?

    Hi and thanks for your reply. I checked the settings under "Print", "More Options", then "Color Management" and it only has "Print Space", none of the three options that you said I should have.  Am I looking in the wrong place?

      Check your color management by clicking More Options in the print dialog There are basically three options:1) Printer Manages Color2) Elements Manages color3) No color Management Make sure everything is consistent e.g. if you choose Elements manages color make sure color management is switched off in the print driver.

  • Problem loading Photoshop Elements 9

    My family gave me a legal, store bought Photoshop Elements 9 package about 2 years ago. It worked fine on my old computer for about a year. My PC crashed and I reloaded it on my new PC but it has never loaded. I keep getting an error message that there are missing files and to reload the software. I remove the old load and reload but the same thing happens over and over.  I turn off my anti virus program before I try to reload. What is the problem.

  • Problem activating photoshop after ended trial version

    Hi,
    I have a problem activating photoshop. I have an educational account. Want to run it on a macbook pro which previously had a trial account on it. When downloading using my account photoshop says trial ended. Other apps like bridge and acrobat pro just work. Don't have a serial number to activate as it is an educational account. What to do?
    ps all ready uninstalled, use adobe cc cleaner, siigned out etc

    Which version of Photoshop are you trying to activate? Make sure that your computer can communicate with the Adobe servers by going thru the steps in this help page.

    I tried to install Photoshop elements 8 on my Windows 7 computer, but the installation gives a failure after a certain time. A file "...cab" is not working and may be corrupt ( exact failure code I can give, if necesary).     I just got the same problem already some time ago when I tried to install this programm in my computer. At that time (March 2012) the program crashed my computer, I had to reinstall all the Software completely including system software. The program I purchased in December 2011 from Amazon together with a Reflecta crystal Scan slide scanner as bundle, so I thought it will work.
    I will try to install the program from the download link you gave me, in case it does not work, what can I do next without having to buy a newer version?

    You can try to activate your product offline and it would not ask you for Sign in Window again.
    1.Disconnect your Internet connection
    2.Follow the steps mentioned here(though teh steps are mentioned for Acrobat but they are applicable for PSE and PRE as well) : Offline Activation

  • How do you overcome problems using Photoshop Elements with Win 7 and Eyefinity display?

    I have a 3 screen Eyefinity setup on a PC running 64bit Win 7 with 16gb RAM and an AMD Radeon 7950 graphics card and Phenom II x4 processor.
    I struggle to get a stable PSE10 to work on this setup.
    I bought a combined set of Photoshop and Premier Elements 10 and although installed it always crashed when I saved images with the error message "Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 has stopped working". I recently did a fresh install of Windows 7 and decided I had to solve the Photoshop problem.
    I installed Premier 64 bit version from disk 2 and Photoshop Elements from disk 1 and then ran compatability checker. Under compatability settings for Win XP srv pack 3 it starts although with some toolbar errors and top and bottom of screen transparent instead of solid. I can save files worked on but then still get the error when I exit Photoshop Elements.
    Has anyone had similar and solved the problem? Tech Support said my s/w was too old and unsupported without a service contract.

    There should be no need for compatibility mode; pse10 is designed to run on W7. Try making a direct shortcut for the Editor. You can then launch the program directly from the desktop bypassing the welcome screen. This is generally better as the welcome screen leaves background processes running.
    Right click anywhere on the desktop and select New >> Shortcut
    Then click the browse button and navigate to:
    "C:\Program Files(x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 10\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe"
    Then click Next; then click Finish
    To launch, try right-clicking on the new desktop icon and choose “Run As Administrator” which often improves stability.
