Problems after deleting page,

Hello,
First time poster. I am working on a 100 page book in iPhoto 09. I removed a page in the first few pages due to poor photo quality, and now want to add a page to take its place. However, I receive the warning that I have 100 pages and cannot add another page unless I delete one. Sure enough, there is a blank page 100 at the end of the book. However, after many attempts at deleting this page, and iPhoto letting me know that any pics on it will remain in the pic folder associated with this book, I cannot delete this page. Any thoughts?

Make sure you have the single page view option selected at the bottom and then select the page to be deleted in the thumbnail tray at top. If that doesn't help the close iPhoto, delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your User/Library/Preferences folder, reboot, launch iPhoto and try again.

Ok ...
When you add records in you store, the J2ME implementation create an ID.
In the database, there is a list like that with ID <--> ]byte[ ]
You can get back a record with a this ID.
When you delete a record, it deletes the row. Lets say you have stored 3 records and that the ID are 1, 2, 3 ... if you delete the second one, then you have still in the database IDs 1 and 3.
That's why you have this exception : you are iterating with an ID 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ... if one is delete there is no reorganization. (If you add an other record, it could be stored with ID 2).
To read all the records, you should get a list of existing IDs. Take a look at the API. Here is a piece of code, that you work but I have not tested :

Problem after deleting the records........

Hi Folks,
Kindly help me with this report.
At one point I am deleting the itfinal internal table w.r.t
to HKONT.Before deleting I am having all the values for
LIFNR and AWKey,but once deleting(as mentioned earlier) I
am not getting these two values.The same Awkey is getting repeated
again and again.

Print problem after exporting Pages to PDF.

I am attempting to print a very large genealogical book (300 + pages) of my family's descendants and noticed that in both Preview and Adobe Reader the first character of every page is missing. This does not happen when printing from Pages so it cannot be a printer problem. I checked the placement of the print against the Pages page and both Preview and Adobe Reader are EXACTLY the one character difference with the pages exactly even with each other. The original page type is 12 pt with margins: Left .5in, Right .5in, Top .75in, Bottom .75in, no header, Footer .5in using 9 pt type. What is really odd is that the onscreen display is correct but only the printed (HP OJ6500E702n wireless duplex marginless printer) copy is incorrect which indicates to me the conversion is somehow creating this problem.
I need this PDF file as it is the file I print from plus I put the file on a disk as a backup for the paper book for all book recipients.

While this problem is for ANY application that EXPORTS, not prints, to a PDF format, I have discovered that the problem is probably be with the printer's minimum allowable margins being physically the same regardless of portrait or landscape instead of the logical rotation of margin type locations in landscape mode. Question answered by logic research.

Image position changed after deleting pages

Hi
I have a book with on each page one image (no text). When I delete the first two pages, +-50% of my images or moved 6 mm to the right. This happens across the entire book and there is no logic or pattern in where this happens and where not.
Did somebody have the same experience or an explanation for this? The document was made with Indesign CS5.

You can try deleting the "media" folder on your iDisk and then republish.
Finder/Go/iDisk/My iDisk/Web /Sites.
Open your "website" folder and delete the media file.
Also, make sure you have deleted any audio files that may be hidden in your iWeb page. Sometimes its better to delete the page and start a new one when things go wrong.

Preview.app increases PDF file size after deleting pages

Hello, I'm experiencing odd behavior with Preview.app and PDFs.
If I open a PDF with Preview, delete a page, then save the file, the file size increases anywhere form 2x to 20x. This happens both with PDFs that only contain text and PDFs that contain text and graphics. It is very frustrating because I start with a file that is 150KB, remove some pages and end up with a 10MB monster that I can't email to people.
Any help is appreciated. I can post a link to a test PDF for people to try to replicate with if it would be useful.

I generated the file with pdftex. I'm guessing that there must be different ways to encode a PDF and when Preview gets something with an encoding other than that provided by PDFKit, it rewrites the file how it likes. In my case this is increasing the file sizes. I tried finding docs about PDFKit on the Apple developer site, but couldn't find any details about ways of encoding a PDF.

Subversion -- Problem After Deleting a File from Repository

I am using Dreamweaver CS6 and am using Subversion as a Repository server.
In doing a massive check-in, Subversion reported an error with one file:
SVN: #160024, Commit failed (details to follow):
File or directory ‘aff.php’ is out of date; try updating
Resource out of date; try updating
I tried reverting that file and then tried the update, all to no avail. In the end, I deleted that file, figuring that I could then simply add it.
When I tried to add it, I got the following error:
SVN: #155011, Commit failed (details to follow):
File ‘aff.php’ is out of date
File not found: transaction ‘150-4w’, path ‘/whmcs/aff.php’
The reference to '150-4w' was to the "successful' transaction in which I deleted the file, 'aff.php'.
Can anyone please help me to check this file in?

Today, I agreed to an automatic upgrade and now Firefox starts to open but stops. It says 3.6.11 and I have the same problem after deleting and reinstalling.

It bounces in Dock and stops, it never opens. Opening from .app opens in Dock and immediately disappears.

I downgraded to 3.6.10 and had the same problem. Downgrading to 3.6.9 resolved problem. Will retry upgrading later.
Maybe unrelated but 3.6.9 recommended I upgraded Adobe Flash Player from 10.1 r53 to 10.1 r85, which I did

Table activation problem after deleting ariw from table

I have inserted a new field(xxxx) into custom table and activated it..
But ,when i tried to enter values for this new field in se16,this field doesnt exist there.But in se11 i was able to view..
So i deleted that field from tht table and inserted again,,
Now iam geting message that
xxxx field was deleted
Alter table is not possible..
Diagnosis shows that
The structure of the table changed at field level. This change requires a conversion of the table. This situation can occur for example if the data type or field length of the domain upon which the field is based was changed. A conversion is also generally necessary if the key of the table changed.
Procedure
Convert the table using the Database Utility (SE14).
Can you people let me know how i can cahge the table ..

Hi Parnith,
Suppose you have entered a new field (or deleted a field) in your table in SE11(and table already contains data).
Now, your next step should be activating that table first.
For that :
1. Just click on save.
2. Goto Utilities -> Database Utility.
Click on that.
3. Click on Activate and Adjust database.
Now you will see your field added to your table.
Now you can simply Goto contents of the table and modify the records and fill the newly added field for each record.

Phototshop Creative Suite download problem after deleting Photoshop from my computer.

I uninstalled photoshop now can't reinstall it and more through the Creative Suite. I use Chrome as a Browser and try to download the latest version of photoshop. I can see it in my Creative Suite under apps but I cant choose download again. It just says that its updated!

Deployment Problem after deleting EntryList - any solution?

We are using VC model in 7.0.
We have few EntryLists and we are no more using them.
These are initially loading at runtime when model is getting loaded.
So we want to remove these due to our performance issue to reduce the load time of the model initially.
when we remove this and try to deploy the model, deployment is stoping at 20% for a longer time and could not deploy the model.
Please help me if there is any solution for this.

Ok. i figured out that I can provide a special parameter named 'BLANKPAGES' to the rwbuilder program or rwclient, etc... But I still don't like it because I have to modify how I execute and print reports...why should I have to do that when the report itself should have that ability? If I create a new report, it doesn't need the BLANKPAGES parameter, it just prints one page...why can't i modify my existings reports then?

You need to open the documents on an iOS device before you can open them as anything other than pages documents.

Cannot delete pages after saving a PDF in X Pro

I am on Windows 7 and Adobe Acrobat XPro. Every time I try to delete pages in any PDF after saving I get the error message "one or more pages are in use and could not be deleted". the work around is to close the file and then reopen. Then you can delete the pages. It is annoying to have to shut and reopen the file everytime after making a change. Is there a fix to this?

Have you tried Help > Check for updates (in Acrobat)?
That very annoying problem is fixed in XI. I seem to recall it could be fixed by updating X, but I could be mistaken. Please report back.

PDF version changes after deleting a page and "Save"

I use Adobe Acrobat Pro 11.0.04. I have a PDf in version 1.4 (Acrobat 5.x). I add 1 or 2 pages at the beginning and/or the end using the "Insert" - "Empty page" option. When I now choose "save", everything goes well and the version of the pdf remains the same.
However, sometimes it occurs that I have to delete pages certain pages. I select the thumbnails of the page, click right and choose "delete pages". My pdf is now still in version 1.4. I choose "file" and "Save". Now my pdf version has been automatically changed to version 1.6 (Adobe 7.x). The same thing happens when I use "File" - "Save as". I can't seem to find the setting that changes this PDF-version.
I know I can use "File" - "Save as optimized". However I always get an error (on fonts or transparancy objects) when trying to save as version 1.4.
The software that processes my PDF afterwards, requires a very strict pdf version (and settings). Therefor it's important that the pdf settings don't change.
Does anyone has a solution for this problem? Is this a settings in Acrobat Pro? Is there a work around for this problem?

You are right with "save as optimized" is the way to go, however I always get error messages using this function. When I save as optimized, Acrobat will first save the pdf (and thus convert it to version 1.6). After that Acrobat will start converting the pdf (flattening transparant objects, etc.) back to version 1.4. I mostly get an error on the transparant objects.
My version is in dutch but the error should be something like "an error was encountered while flattening transparent objects"
I don't really understand why these objects have to be flattened again as the pdf I started working with was already in version 1.4.
