Problems after installation: Freezing, long waiting, no turning back.

So, I thought give Windows 7 a shot on my iMac 20" running Snow Leopard. Installation went well, it is running without any problems. After the installation, some very strange problems occur:
1. When I boot into OSX, I have to wait for at least 5 minutes or longer, before I can login to my useraccount. I see the users on my screen, but when I click one of them nothing happens. After the 5 minutes, it's like the system awakes en everything I typed in the meantime appears.
2. It takes 2 or 3 tries sometimes before i really load into OSX. Most of the time my system freezes while loading the icons in the top, or loading the software in the dock. After 2 or 3 tries I usally make it through, and I can use OSX. While freezing I only see a colored cursor.
3. While using OSX, at unexpected moments the system can freeze, showing me just a colored cursor. Probally the same cause as problem 2. It's usally Finder or Safari that causes the system to freeze. Most of the time I have to reboot, but sometimes it works to put the iMac into sleep mode.
I thought this wouldn't be the trouble, so I decided to uninstall the Bootcamp partition. But ofcourse this won't work either. When I start the Bootcamp-assistent, it states I don't have the latest firmware, although I absolutely have according to the website.
Edit: Of course, I tried to check permissions and check the disk with the installation CD and Disk Utility. I cannot check the Bootcamp partition, that one is grey, and according to Disk Utility, my Macintosh HD partition seems to be fine.
Is there a solution for this?

Well, I removed the Bootcamp partition, and resized the disk to it's original format. Nothing seems to change, all problems keep occuring. The frustrating is, I can't backup through TimeMachine, it keeps crashing (colored cursor, or just a plain freeze)!

Problem after installation Project Server 2013 CU September 9, 2014

I have some problems after installation
Project Server 2013 CU September 9, 2014 (Hotfix 2883072) on 3 level farm
Before installing CU, I have installed
SP1 for Project Server 2013, installation and configuration was successful.
Then I have installed CU and I have not get any errors during installation process. Then I have restarted servers and in SharePoint health analyzer got an error about patch/installation status
on WFE server.
I checked in Windows installed updates and hotfix is installed. I checked in SharePoint Update and Upgrade history and there were no errors during installation. But when I checked in Manage

The problem was solved !
I solve it using two ways:
1. I have installed the hotfix for Project Server - Hotfix for Project Server 2013 October 14, 2014 KB 2889959 (Projectserverwfe-x-none.msp, Projectservermui-Language-Code.msp)
2. using command
Psconfig -cmd upgrade -inplace b2b -force -cmd applicationcontent -install -cmd installfeatures -cmd installcheck -noinstallcheck
After two actions I was able to run SharePoint Configuration Wizard and upgrade database. Configuration completed successful.

First, have you tried resetting your Preferences? It does fix a lot of problems.

If you need a quick and dirty way to restore your preferences, here's a way you can do it using a keyboard shortcut on launch:
Windows - CTRL-SHIFT-ALT immediately after you double-click the PS icon.
Macintosh - CMD-SHIFT-OPTION immediately after you double-click the PS icon.

Problems after installation with disp+work.exe

Problems after installation 16.0.3 update for Windows

I propose here to report problems appeared after installation 16.0.3 Illustrator update for Windows.
As for me:
Don’t display Stray and Center Points in Outline mode;
Eyedropper+Shift works incorrectly;

I am using a MacBook Pro (3.1) 17 inch, 2.4GHz processor, 2 GB ram. I edit video using Final Cut Studio 2. i am having a problem with Final Cut Pro 6 after downloading the latest update (6.0.3). Before I downloaded the update I used to be able to export my movies on the Quicktime option of FCP (not compressor or Quicktime conversion) giving me the option to view the the movie while in an FCP Project. The viewer used to scale the exported video to 16.9 (720 by 576 anamorphic), it no longer does this, instead playing it in 4.3. I have tried exporting both from the time line and the canvas but the viewer will only preview in 4.3. As I want to see it in 16.9 because that is what the movie was made in, captured and edited in. The original settings have not changed but there seems to be this annoying problem.

Boot Camp 2.1 problems after installation, how to fix?

Downloaded and installed Boot Camp 2.1 to my WinXP SP2 partition. After installation and rebooting, problems began to occur:
1. iSight no longer working, hardware wizard keeps popping up. Reinstalling driver for iSight, no help. Finally had to disable.
2. Keyboard message popping up during bootup of XP stating that it isn't installed properly. However, keyboards - both external and internal seem to be working OK.
3. Blue Tooth error message popping up when bringing MacBook out of Standby (from WinXP). Message states Blue Tooth not installed properly. After MacBook wakes up, Blue Tooth seems to be OK.
Tried reinstalling Boot Camp 2.1 again but no joy. Same errors.
Finally had to remove 2.1 and revert back to 2.0. After reverting back to 2.0 I had to run system restore from XP to get everything back to normal. Everything OK now running Boot Camp 2.0.
How do I resolve the above errors and what does 2.1 suppose to fix - if anything?

Thank goodness you got back to normal. I have the Blue Screen of Death and spontaneous shutdown after installing 2.1. I uninstalled 2.1 and tried to reinstall 2.0 using the Leopard DVD and cannot get the installer to work. I get an error code 2753 and the installer shuts down.
Now when I try to open the 2.1 installer nothing happens. I think a reinstall of Windows XP is in my future. Thanks Apple.

- First try resetting the iPOd:
Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
- Next try restoring the iPod via iTunes, first from backup and if still problem to factory defaults/new iPod.

Camera problem: after taking a photo the camera turns itself off ...

After taking the photo the camera turns itself off and the screen goes blank. I guessed the camera roll was full so moved photos and deleted from the phone. Same problem continues ... can you offer any help? Thanks.

Maybe the workspace is corrupted..Try starting with a new workspace. In a short cut define the new workspace
C:\Programme\SAP\IDE\IDE70\eclipse\SapIde.exe -showsplash 600 -data C:\temp
Otherwise try installing again.

Problems after installation on Linux AS 4

Hello all,
after installation on Linux AS 4 I saw several problems
1) Oracle Applications ( Forms doesn't allow conections
I try to connect to apps via http://ibm.domain.com:8000/dev60cgi/f60cgi using several user/password such as apps/apps, sysadmin/sysadmin but I received the following error.
APP-FDN-01542: This Applications Server is not authorized to access this database
2) When I connect to E-Business Suite home page via http://ibm.domain.com:8000/ so many times I can't see the web page complete, missing most of the links and folder. It is strange because I could create a new user and grant some roles to it.
As you can see I'm quite new in this arena.

I think it shouldn't be the problem because as I explained in my previous message, I was able to see the page correctly, even more; I was able to create a new user and grant ABM roles to it.
What are relly missing in the page are links to the AMB forms.
What I also saw in the log file, was the attempt to connect to the server by an unknown ip client. I 'm scared thinking someone could have been trying to damage my installation.

My laptop shutoff off after being fully charged and wont turn back on

I am in a foreign country and my laptop has been working fine with an adapter. Two days ago, after being fully charged, my laptop shut off and wouldn't turn back on. The battery died and I tried a friends charger to see if it was a problem with the computer or charger and the new burger worked. So I spent the money on a new charger and now the same thing has happened. After being charged it shut off and my new charger has a dim light just like what happened the first time. Any ideas?

IPhone 5s shut itself off shortly after unplugging charger. Won't turn back on. Help!

I charged it for 15 mins, unplugged it, set an alarm, and 5-7 minutes later the screen was black and won't turn back on. The case/phone is still hot, and it still won't turn on after 2 hours. It hasn't cooled at all either, and my AC is blaring in this house.
When can I expect it to turn back on? That is, if it's even off at all.... Is there a reset button-pattern I can push to expedite the process? Is there anything I can do?
Should I just make an appointment for the Genius Bar? Help!

If you are having issues with your iPhone powering off unexpectedly you may want to follow the steps in this article for troubleshooting -
iPhone: Hardware troubleshooting

Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIs and corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen. Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
