Problems after Update iTunes 7

I updated to iTunes 7. Now my iPod is not recognised anymore. After connecting my iPod nano nothing was happening anymore and I had to disconnect the iPod and lost everything on the iPod. The iPod is working but without connection to the computer nothing works anymore. I deleted iTunes and reinstalled but without any success.
What can I do?

You can go back to your past settings. Just connect your Ipod to Itunes and click on your ipod. The first tab to the left gives you the option.

Disk Utility Problem after update itunes to 6.0.3

After undated itunes to 6.0.3, disk utility runs 1/4 and stopped with message "disk utility lost connection with disk management tool, and can not continue....."
and when i Trashed itunes and Disk Utility worked through ok this happed with itunes update 6.0.2 as well did not happen to itunes 6.0.1.
Any body got any ideas, please help!!!!

I think I have the answer.
I was experiencing the exact same problem. I tried lots of different things but what I think works is to exclude your iTunes folder from Spotlight. Open the System Preference for Spotlight, click on the Privacy tab, and then drag your iTunes folder (in your user/Music folder) into that window pane. In fact, I think it is faster when I am fixing tags!

I found a small mp3 player called VOX that works with m3u files and maybe is the solution for you. I cannot live without iTunes, but I don't let it manage my files anymore. After updating iTunes, Outlook 2007 is not syncing. Error message reports "no supported calendar application can be found." Have the same issue when running iTunes in safe mode. Also rebooted and relaunched iTunes. No change. Outlook 2007 is running normally on my desktop (WInXP).
Any suggestions?

Apologies I've been away on holiday. OK, I've discovered that it seems to be a related problem to iSync as this won't load. I've tried copying the relevant files from a working OS but this didn't resolve it. I've also tried reinstalling the iSync (Using Pacifist) from the original Install DVD and then installing a combo update but this hasn't fixed it either.
I'm thinking my only resort is probably to reinstall the whole OS, or create a new user and transfer all my docs to that one. Any other suggestions?

This error occurs when the device unexpectedly loses its USB connection with iTunes. This can occur if you manually disconnect the device during the restore process. You can resolve this issue by using USB troubleshooting, using a different Dock Connector or Lightning Connector to USB cable, trying another USB port, restoring on another computer, or by eliminating conflicts from third-party security software.

It sounds like you are unable to connect your iOS devices without it becoming unresponsive. That would frustrate me too. I would use the following article about that very issue to help you resolve that:

Start with these 3 steps to make sure the other devices are up to date as well, and there is additional troubleshooting to be done in the article if needed:
Install any available software updates for your computer.
For Mac OS X: Click the Apple () menu, choose Software Update, and follow the on-screen instructions.
For Windows: Refer to the documentation for your computer for instructions on using Windows Update to update your computer.
Update iTunes to the latest version.
For Mac OS X: Click the Apple () menu, choose Software Update, and follow the on-screen instructions. You can also download iTunes from the Apple website.
For Windows: Use Apple Software Update, or download iTunes from the Apple website.
Test with automatic syncing disabled.

I tried removing Itunes and all of its components and installing it again, but get same errors and i have also tried doing a system restore with the same results

It has 7.96 GB free on a 32GB iPod. It synced just fine prior to the update and I did not add more than 7.96 GB of files to the library after updating iTunes. Please Help! I tried the manual method. I was able to set the music/video to manual and then restarted the entire system. After restart, I re-attached the ipod touch to the computer. The sync automatically ran for everything that wasn't set to manual and it completed without a problem. I then reset the music/video to automatically sync and restarted the entire coputer/ipod set again. This time when I re-attached the ipod, EVERYTHING synced and there were no problems reported. I've never had to do this before, but I will keep it in mind if something like this happens again. Thank you for pointing me to the manual sync.

Exception processing message 0xc0000013 after updating itunes and Quicktime

After updating itunes and Quicktime, every time I remove a CD from my DVD drives I get an error saying no disk exception processing message 0xc0000013 Parameters 0x759f023c 0x87f51934 0x759f023c 0x759f023c.
I tried doing a restore to a time before that update and that didn't seem to help. It just gave me different parameters.
I'm using Windows Vista and this is driving me nuts.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I also have the same problems as you guys after installing Corel Painshop Pro X12. I went into the task list and stop the CorelIOMonitor process and then the problem went away. I found out that you can disable this from starting up using System Configuration tool via Start -> Run -> msconfig
. It's an interm solution untell they fix it. Maybe someone needs to notify Corel or Apple to fix this problem.

White screen problem after updating to 1.1 firmware

My 2G iPod Nano worked fine with 1.0.1 and 1.0.2 firmware but after updating to 1.1 I get white screen everytime I turn it on after longer period of time. Turning the iPod off and then right back on makes it work again. I have done restore 3 times without effect. I even removed the firmware files so that iTunes downloads them again when doing the restore but that didn't work either.
Should I return it or wait for new firmware? Has anyone else had this problem after updating to 1.1?

Disconnect iPod and close iTunes.
Firmware files are in "Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPod Software Updates" folder.
You should still have the 1.0.2 files named "iPod_19.1.0.2.ipsw" and "iPod_19.1.0.2.ipsw.signature" in there if have you upgraded from 1.0.1 version.
Remove 1.1 files from the folder so that only those to files are in there.
Disconnect from network (I switched off my wlan) so that iTunes can't download the new version. Connect your iPod and do Restore, iTunes will now use the old firmware files because it can't connect to the internet.
