Problems calling remote site

I have a problem making a call from Isle of Man that has a 2900 router running CME 8.6 and a remote site Singapore that is on a UCS560, we have created a site to site VPN and can ping from either phone vlan to either phone vlan interfaces. The problem is that when I call from the Isle of Man site the call routes, rings on the remote phone and the user answers, they can hear the Isle of Man but the Isle of man cannot hear them... I hear you all say one way voice must be routing, well I cannot find where the error  and like I say we can ping. I have added the singapore config as a starting point and we are calling from 0977  Isle of Man to 3123 Singapore.

Most of the time this type of symptom is related to a routing issue or ACL.
I am thinking more codec.
your dial-peer 3150 with incoming called number .T will negotiate the codec betweeen IOM and Singapore (g729br8),
can you paste a show call active voice   so we
this way we can at least ascertain what codec is used from IOM to singapore e2e
and what are the phones in singaport using internally?

    Hi all
I'm configuring a site to site Ipsec VPN in 2 sites using ASA 5505 V 8.2, The VPN is working fine i can ping machine in the 2 sides but the problem is the remote site dont' have internet.
The architecture is, we 2 site Site1 is the main site and Site2 is secondary site there will be Site3, ...
The internet connection is based in Site1 and site2 and site 3 will have internet connection through Site1. Site1, Site2 and Site 3 is interconnected by Ipsec VPN.
Here is my ASA 5505 Configuration :

    Hi Carv,
Thanks for your reply. i have done finally
i used no crypto ipsec nat-transparency udp-encapsulation in my end router only.
and in remote access VPN i have enabled UDP for client configuration. the most imprtant is i have given IP add of same LAN pool to VPN user,
    Regards,
    Satya.M

  • Problem calling remote method

All the cirrus connection is working fine, I make one net  connection and get my key, then I make a net stream, do connection with  the other user, the problem happens when i send the remote method to  call on the other user application.
In the net status (using previuos created net  connection) event handler when the status get "Success" i make one  request like this:
myStream.send("myFunction"); (I don`t remember if is .send or .play, but i tested both for sure)
And i have a public function called myFunction() to be activated on the other side.
Everything looks fine, i got the connection but i can`t access the remote method myFunction().
If needed, i can send my code for you to see.
    Sorry for my english.
    Thanks a lot for helping!

you can only call NetStream.send() on a publishing stream (one on which you have called NetStream.publish(streamName)).  and that NetStream must either be a client-server one (if talking to FMS) or a P2P one (either a group NetStream or a 1:1 one created as NetStream.DIRECT_CONNECTIONS).
on the subscriber side, your "myFunction" must be a function property on the subscribing NetStream.client object.

  • Problem Calling Remote Session Bean Method

Need help. I am trying to call a method in a remote stateless session bean in an EJB in my web application from a stateless session bean in a different EJB in the web application. I am getting a run-time error that says,
    "java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: dtpitb.common.sb.reports.CommonReportsHome"
    ref = ctx.lookup( jndiName );
// Cast to Local Home Interface using RMI-IIOP
    commonReportsHome = (CommonReportsHome)
    PortableRemoteObject.narrow(ref, CommonReportsHome.class);
If while in a session bean of an EJB, I want to call a public method in the session bean of a totally different EJB, is there something in particular I am missing. I can make the call from the web application code. I can make a remote call from this session bean to itself in the exact same fashion. I just can't call a session bean in another EJB. All thoughts are welcome.
    Thanks,
    Pete

Thanks for replying. That could very well be the case I suppose. I'm using JBuilder and WebLogic, and JBuilder pretty much does all of the deployment descriptor code for me. However, maybe this is something I need to incorporate manually.
One EJB is in the same project as the web application code. The other EJB (common_ejb) is in another project. The calling session bean is in the project with the web app, and the remote session bean method that I'm targeting is in the common EJB session bean. Both EJBs are included in the web app's WEB-INF\lib dir and in the war file.
So theoretically, this isn't an unconventional practice I assume?
    Thanks,
    Pete

  • JNI newbie problem calling remote method

    I have written the class and used javah to gen the .h file;

    I get > error C2065: 'doSomething' : undeclared identifier
    when compiling.
What is the correct way of calling the external (native) method?
    Thanks in advance!

Just for a test, change the line:
    jboolean Result = doSomething(strX, strY);to:
      printf("This is a JNI example.\n");
return; It seems like "doSomething" is the function you are already in...
Don't forget to also add an include of <stdio.h> for the printf to work.
    Good luck,
    Alfredo

  • Cisco 3905 problem / remote site

    Hi all!
    Information:
I have CUCM 8.6.2.20000-2 and many Cisco IP Phone 3905 (SIP). Some of them deployed in central office and some in remote sites.
    Phone information:
    Boot Version: 3905.0-0-0-01-01
    DSP Version: 12.0.0.8
    Application: 3905.9-2-2-0
    Symptoms:
    In remote sites only!
The phone is registered and working fine. However, after few hours idle state I lift the handset, dial any number and nothing happens. Drop the call and try again 2-3 times. After that either call passed or get permanent busy tone (need to reboot the phone to work again).
The phone is marked as registered on CUCM and I hear dial tone when lifted the handset.
I cannot collect debug messages from phones, because as soon as I login via telnet it going work fine.
There is no such problem in central office.
Phones print following messages in terminal all the time:

There are 2 versions of firmware on cisco.com. cmterm-3905.9-2-1-0 is the default firmware going with CUCM 8.6.2.20000-2 for 3905 phones and cmterm-3905.9-2-2-0 I've installed recently. Both versions of firmware with same problems.

  • Remote site can call but home base cant

    Hello all,
This going to be a bit of a long post, so I'll ask forgiveness at the beginning and at the end.
Recently we upgraded a few remote sites form a 64 k connection up to t1's.. At the remote sites we had single line phones plugged into a vwic and at the home base we have a line going to our PBX. So far so good. the configuration allows the remote sites to dial 888 to reach the pbx and then they dial and extension to reach whoever they are trying to talk to at the home base. I added a router to the network to accomadate the new t1 wics as our home base router a 3640 was full. Since adding that router we can no longer call that remote site via the "bat phones" the odd thing is they can still call us. I am assuming that I need to add a dialer list to the new router but if i do what interface does that need to be applied to?
the remote site routers are cisco 1750's
    with vwics.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Again sorry for the lengthy post...
    Thanks

I am not sure a dilaer list is going to fix your problem.
Did the new router replace your old router? Or are they both operating at the same time?
If you could post the working config and the new config along with the type of the new router that would help.

  • I am trying to use firefox as the web lauch for citrix ica but when I go to login into remote site - I get the message waiting to find website but it nver finds the website. Has anyone else had this problem?

I am trying to use firefox as the web lauch for citrix ica client but when I go to login into remote site - I get the message waiting to find website but it nver finds the website. Has anyone else had this problem?
When I installed firefox, it asked if I wanted to use safari settings and I said yes but I think this might be causing the problem. Safari is no longer compatible with citrix ica client. When I reinstalled firefox it automatically installs the safari info. Does anyone know how to re-install firfox without installing safari info?

Did anyone ever suggest you reset your PRAM?
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=2238
Also might want to try resetting the SMC, although I
    doubt there's an issue there.
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=304123
I'm getting tired of people who supposedly know what
they're doing simply guessing that resinstalling the
OS might solve the issue. It's like trying to dissect
a frog with a sledge hammer, and wondering why you
didn't learn anything about anatomy in the process.
These sorts of things, although bizarre, should be
(and probably are) fixable without major surgery.
Thanks for the suggestion... but I think my first question would be why these parameters would need re-setting? This is a new machine... It has never been shut down hard. It is used at most 10 hours per week... mostly using Office 2004 for MAC. I need to figure this out as I will soon need it as a Cs2/CS3 - Aperture workhorse.
I too agree that it is best not to use a sledge when a scalpel is needed... but as a novice to the MAC world I may have been misled by Apple support. I seems to have fixed the symptoms ( some) but appears NOT to have addressed the cause... which is what I am after.
Would TechTool Pro detect a bad HD or RAM?
    Thanks....

  • Problem in connecting to remote site

I have set up an FTP user in the remote server which works

What do you have in the Host directory field of your Remote

  • Remote Site with its own CUCM Sub#2 and Router network failed and the site didnt keep its phones active, need some assistance

I have a Pub and 2 Sub's.  Sub #1 is with the Pub, at the main site it is our TFTP server, Sub #2 is at a remote site with about 100 users along with a router and 2 PRI's for outbound calls.  We had a network failure between the main site and the remote site and all phone lost their registration with the system until we were able to get the network back up.   Currently the network is up in a crippled state on a 1 T-1 link while we troubleshoot the bigger issue with our 6mb pipe, however Sub #2 and its associated router arent talking with the PUB or other Sub.  I'm still getting alerts every 30 minutes stating they are the server is down.  I'm sure once the network is corrected this will bring everything back on line.  My question is how can I prevent in this in the future.  I need this site to be stand alone if the network goes down again.  I was told by our vendor that if we had a subscriber at each site then we would need SRST licensing. I know something needs to be configured to make it all work, I'm just not sure what.

I already have a group at the site but it includes both the Pub and Sub from the main site as well as the Sub from the remote site.  I would only have to remove the Sub from the main site, problem is I currently only have 1 TFTP server it runs on SUB #1, should I make SUB#2 a TFTP server as well and the phones are setup for DHCP at the main site, I'm going to need to have a DHCP server setup at the remote site as well. Correct?

  • Dreamweaver cannot upload files larger than 2gb to remote site

I am uploading a set of large video files to a remote site at the University of Connecticut.  I have no problem doing this through Cyberduck. I can also upload (put) files to the  through Dreamweaver provided that the files are smaller than 2gb.  Dreamweaver gives me the following type of error:
WorkArea\VideosUnclipped\100ASL\sara\signs\XX20140703a0789.MOV - error occurred - An HTTP error occurred - cannot put XX20140703a0789.MOV.  Access denied.  The file may not exist, or there could be a permission problem.
File activity incomplete. 1 file(s) or folder(s) were not completed.
    Files with errors: 1
    WorkArea\VideosUnclipped\100ASL\sara\signs\XX20140703a0789.MOV
    Finished: 7/16/2014 5:31 PM
Since Cyberduck is successful, but Dreamweaver is not, this looks like a problem with Dreamweaver.  I would prefer to use Dreamweaver because i am more comfortable with the interface.
    I am using dreamweaver cs6

    Hello,
first, my knowledge is, the limit depends all on your hosting. FTP client is just the middleman. Please go into contact with your provider.
On the other hand it's well known, that in all these cases you describe I'm not a friend of a detailed troubleshooting. To be able to be independent in all this things It is one of the reasons why I prefer an external FTP program. The difficulties with which you have to fight encourage me in this opinion, not least because we always search for experts, we don't charge a "jack of all trades".
To manage several websites or to upload my files and sometimes for the opposite way, for a necessary download from my server or to use a "a site-wide synch", I'm using FileZilla. It simply looks easier for me to keep track of all operations precisely and generate or reflect easily the desired tree structure.
Above all, FileZilla has a feature (translation from my German FileZilla) called "compare file list". Here it's possible to use file size or modification time as a criterion. There is also the possibility to "hide identical files", so that only these files which you want to redact remain visible.
And even if it means you have to install a new program, I am convinced that there is an advantage. Here is the link to get it and where you can read informations about how it works:
    http://filezilla-project.org/ and http://wiki.filezilla-project.org/Tutorial#Using_the_site_manager
Mac: Mac OS X (Use: Show additional download options)
    http://filezilla-project.org/download.php
Of course, you also need all the access data to reach your server and for MIME issues, you should contact your web host/provider.
    Good luck!
    Hans-Günter
    P.S.
Since I use two screens, the whole thing became even more comfortable.

  • Unity Message Monitoring No Audio For Remote Site IP Phones

I have Unity Message Monitoring running on a Unity 7.0 server and it works fine with IP Phones located at the same site via G.711. It also works fine with Remote Message Monitoring phones (Cell Phones configured via Message Notification Device Phone 6). But it does not work with IP Phones at remote sites via G.729. The Unity server is configured to support G.711 and G.729 and I'm not sure if my problem has anything to do with Codecs. The reason being is because the Remote Message Monitoring to cell phones is working fine and we send in all external calls from the PSTN to Unity as G.729 via our SIP Trunk and the Remote Message Monitoring media stream going out to the cell phone is G.729 with no Transcoding resource being used.
Is anyone else having problems with Message Monitoring to IP Phones at remote sites that normally use G.729 for WAN based calls? If not, do you have your Unity setup to run G.711 and G.729 or do you have it set to G.711 only and use a MRGL with a Transcoding resource?
    Thank You,
    Mike Shelley

    Hi.
This is a normal behaviour, because RTP between endpoints is end to end and IP phone of remote user A should be able to reach ip phone user B directly.
This means that you should have two options:
    - VPN from user A to HQ should include User B subnet in SA association and vice versa.
    - A direct VPN between user A and user B

  • File does not exist on remote site, yet it does

I have been trying to understand how Dreamweaver handles remote files in CS5.
My server is setup as a remote server and a test server.
I open the remote file, it offers to get dependencies, so I click yes.
I click on Live view, then it tries to show me the following url
    http://my_site.com/public_html/path/to/my/file/file.php
It should not put public_html in the path, and I did not specify this in my site setup. My root setting is /.
Anyway, If I change the url manually, then it shows correctly. Then it offers to discover dunamically linked files, which I agree to.
Now it tells me that 'Dynamically-related files could not be resolved because the site definition is not correct for this server'
If I try to open one of the files that it has discovered, I am told that it is not on the disk, so would I like to 'get it', so I agree.
Finally, I am told that 'Get operation failed since linked-file.php does not exist on remote site'
I suspect that this is all to do with my site definition, but I fiddled with the settings and can't resolve this. I think that the whole problem goes back to Dreamweaver's insistance on putting public_html in the path, but I can't stop it doing so.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks
    ian

    Hi,
Well, yes I did manage to fix the dynamically linked resources issue. As mentioned above, I did need to mention public_html in my Root Directory setting in server setup (silly of me).
I had tried this at first, but it didn't work, as I had the server set as a test server and not a remote server, anyway, i now have it set as both and all is well.
Except that, the first issue that mentioned is still with me: namely, dreamweaver mentions the public_html in the url path when on live view, which is not correct and I don't know where it is inferring this from. I can change it manually, but this doesn't seem right to me. Am I still missing a setting?
    In anwer to the questions:
    1) My setting (now) in the Root Directory setting in DW is: /public_html/
    2) My actual path on the server (that i mention in php scripts) is: /home/login_name/public_html//path/to/my/file/file.php
[In the advanced settings of DW site setup on the Local Info page I have set Links relative to Document option, although it does not seem to make a difference when I change it to Site Root.]
    Any suggestions appreciated.
    Thanks
    Ian

  • Attendant line status at remote site

we have a centralized 4.1.3 call manager with remote site using mpls. we set up the attendant application for the receptionist at the remote site and everything worked as expected. The next day, she no longer could see the line status.
I've tried it from the main site and it works fine. We've tried restarting the services.
Does anyone know what might have happened?
    thanks
    Rob

problem turned out to be the windows xp firewall running on the receptionist pc. when it was turned off, line status worked.
solution is to add the acclient program as an exception in the firewall settings

  • The WSDL data cannot be retrieve from remote site

I am a new guy learning web services with NetBeans 5.5 and meet some problem in retrieving wsdl data from remote site.
I create a web service "WSTestServer" at Sun Application Server PE8.2 with real IP, say 111.110.11.10:8888, and there's a class "TestWS" with a method "getWS" to return a String. The server (or machine) name is ultra20. So, by following steps in NetBeans, I can get a wsdl file after generating the web service and it can be viewed at
    http://111.110.11.10:8888/WSTestServer/TestWS?WSDL
Then, I create a web service client at the same machine, it is available to test this method by clicking Web Service Reference item in NetBeans and select "getWS" method to get that String.
However, when I create a web service client at remote site, it doesn't work and show exception message like
    cannot find domain http://ultra20:8888/WSTestServer/TestWS....
I go back to check wsdl file, at the last line, it prints like
    <soap:address location="http://ultra20:8888/WSTestServer/TestWS".....
If I test this case in LAN, e.g., the server IP becomes 192.168.1.2 and client IP is 192.168.1.3, then it works since machine name can be recognized within the same local area network. I try to revise the wsdl file above to replace machine name as real IP, but it is automatically changed back with machine name while deploying and copy the revised one as xxx.wsdl__orig.
Should I do additional configuration setup for server site? Such as, registering a domain name like aaa.bbb.edu instead of 111.110.11.10?
Any comment and help for this subject is appreciated!!
    Thank you so much!

    Works as designed,from documentation:
The database also retrieves all triggers and constraints defined on the table except for referential integrity constraints that reference other tables.
The retrieved indexes, triggers, and constraints have recycle bin names. Therefore it is advisable to query the USER_RECYCLEBIN view before issuing a FLASHBACK TABLE ... TO BEFORE DROP statement so that you can rename the retrieved triggers and constraints to more usable names.
For details see the FLASHBACK TABLE command description for your unknown database version.
