Problems charging iPhone

I have been experiencing problems trying to charge my iPhone. I plugged it into the wall socket to charge over night and when i checked on it the following morning the battery was still low and didn't have the charging symbol on it.
I tried again and it is sill not working. I thought it maybe the cable or plug so i used my sisters and still nothing happened?
Does anyone have any suggestions or is my handset broken?

Most likely cause are from a few causes...
Bad USB Cable
Bad USB port on computer - (That's why I said not to use the computer to diagnose charge issues)

Problems charging iPhone 4 after IOS 6 upgrade

I've just come to charge my iPhone 4 after upgrading to IOS 6. Unforutnately, the phone is reporting that 'charging is not supported with this cable.' It isn't an original Apple cable - it's a Griffin one - but it is plugged into an Apple charger. It has worked for several years without a hitch. Why on earth have Apple prevented it from charging my phone?

This has happened to me too. I've just bought a replacement after-market charger (to replace the previous) and it doesn't work. An original Apple charger does work. Is this some sort of evil plot by Apple to increase sales of their hideously overpriced chargers?? Is there a fix for this problem???

My iphone 4 is suddenly playing up. When I plug it in to charge it makes the sound so I know its connecting but instead of showing the lightning bolt icon in the battery in the corner, its showing the plug sign. But my battery is not full. Im on 17% dont know what to do. Tried soft reset and whilst it is plugged in but nothing. Worried hard reset will use up my battery then I wont even be able to complete it. Its 2 years old so not under warrently but I really afford a new contract at the moment!

Use the wall power adapter and charge it till it's full.

suddenly will not charge via usb into mains plug or into laptop i have itunes on ( itunes does not recognise it either) however when i plug into mu mums pc it charges and her itunes recognises it, all my cables work on her pc but then not when i use them in my pc or plugged into the mains adaptor

Sounds like a hardware problem with the battery or something else.

I selected any icon and it's not responding except Siri telling me what it is. Nothing is happening. I cannot even move to next screen. I cannot use my phone totally. I need help. It's not Siri that is talking, it is one of the accessibility features. If you can't go to Settings to change the accessibility settings you will have to restore the phone from Recovery mode: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808

Took my iphone to apple store, they informed that battery is very good and there is no need for replacement. Might be there is a problem with iphone motherboard. But they can't repair it as my 3GS crossed warranty.
Where should I go to repair this. Within 2 years...this 32GB 3GS is almost garbage for me with no support from apple. I am ready to send it to apple for repairs and pay the repair charges.
I tried everything... deep reset ... factory settings .... nothing is working... Apple staff pl. take care of your customers ...

Docking problem w/Iphone 4s

My Iphone 4s wont work when plugged into my dock. My friends Iphone 4s works just fine plugged into it, so its a problem with my phone. Any ideas?

Clean iPhone charging port with clean dry toothbrush. See if fixed. If not, clean again with toothbrush and small amount of Isopropyl Alcohol. If still problem, Restore iPhone with current iTunes on computer. If still problem, and if there is warranty, make Genius reservation or service arrangements and take or send iPhone to Apple for resolution. If no coverage, first step to consider would be replacement of charging dock assembly with flex cable.

The buzzing stopped and I have the home screen up again.

HT1212 My fully charged iPhone screen is black and not responding. what can I do to get it to work again? I have never syncd on iTunes. I connected to my laptop and iTunes app displays error msg saying phone is locked and unlock phone to connect.

I connected to laptop and iTunes gives error msg indicating phone is locked and I to enter passcode. but I can't enter the passcode because the screen is black. I have never syncd with iTunes. What can I do to get my phone back?

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

Problem Charging N85

Hi there,
I have a major problem with my new N85. It has no problem charging through the USB cable, but with the wall charger I have a problem. It shows moving bars as if it's charging but even after waiting for hours it won't actually charge. I updated to the latest firmware, but still no progress.

Whenever I am using Skype or playing game for a while it losses carrier signals and wifi. When it is cooled down afer shutting down the carrier signals and wifi are back. It is for sure problem is with heating, but 30 degree tempeature in Oman is normal and some time it goes upto 50 degrees. I have noticed this has started after I started using substandard charger as I lost my original charger of the phone. Please help!! Thanx.

The specifications define an operating range up to 35 degrees.
