Problems connecting Logitech keyboard and iPad2

I have problems connecting a logitech keyboard to my iPad2. I've succeed in pairing the same keyboard both with an iPad1 and my MacBook Pro, so the keyboard is OK.

I am having the same problem as well. I would like to use my new iPad AIR as my primary computer for meetings and travel. I use teamviewer to remote in to my office work station and my logitech keyboard does not work at all. Have you found any resolution to this problem?
Thanks.

  • [K8N NEO3-F] Problem with USB keyboard and PS2 mouse after upgrading BIOS

    Hello everyone!
I have upgraded BIOS from 1.1 to 1.4... I have Sempron 2600 (64bit) so BIOS v.1.1 did not recognise it.
The motherboard works, but after upgrading I have a small problem with my keyboard and mouse.
When I use USB keyboard my PS2 mouse doesn't work. When I connect PS2 keyboard mouse works!!!
Can you tell me what's wrong?
    Thanks, bartull@
PS. Does BIOS v.1.3 recognise Sempron 64bit? Can you give me a link to it?

I think that the problem may have been caused by flashing either with liveupdate or with winflash.  I had the problem when i used winflash correctly (shutting down all programs, checking all the boxes to clear bootblock and cmos) but had usb keyboard connected during flash.  My suggestion is to reflash with floppy to last bios version that worked using only ps2 mouse and keyboard with the following instructions:
DOS floppy flash shall be performed with :
    awfl833d.exe w7030nms.180 /py /sn /wb /cc /cd /cp /f /e
(Replace biosfilename with appropriate version for Neo1/neo2 etc , switches remain the same )
    After flash is complete :
TURN OFF PSU (don't restart) wait 15 seconds
Turn on again , press the power button .
Enter BIOS and load optimized defaults (NO OTHER CHANGES) , save + exit
Boot the system again with the floppy in the drive to let the DMI pool build and update itself .
If that works, then reflash to the bios you tried before with the same procedure.  Once you have stable system with ps2 keyboard and mouse working, re-enter bios and enable usb and keyboard support as a lot of bios' have it disabled by default for some strange reason.
    Good luck.

  • Hi I am having problem connecting my mac and iphone6 through AirDrop

HI I am having problem connecting my mac and iphone6 through Air Drop

You don't give any information about your Mac but note the quote below which states that it must be a 2012 or later model with Yosemite installed. The quote is from Mac Basics: AirDrop lets you send files from your Mac to nearby Macs and iOS devices - Apple Support which also contains some other things that may help.
In order to transfer files between a Mac and and an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch
your iOS device needs to include a lightning connector
your iOS device needs iOS 7 or later installed
your Mac needs to be a 2012 or later model with OS X Yosemite installed
Your Mac and iOS device both need bluetooth and Wi-Fi turned on. You do not have to be connected to a specific Wi-Fi network.

Where is   sign when you call international number, but first you call local number and after connect open keyboard and see that sign   doesn't exist only 0

No that is not work. Try to call some number and when is connect click on keyboard and you can see that sign "+" doesn't exist.
So I use local number, when I'm connect I have option to call international number but like "+3193675xxxx" how I can put?
Before on iOS 6 I do it.

  • Mapping problem with Wireless Keyboard and Japanese iPhone

    Hi everyone:
This seems to be a slightly obscure question -- at least, I can't find a ready answer for it with the search terms I've tried, possibly because most people don't use this particular accessory with the iPhone.
I have an iPhone 4 that I bought from and use on Softbank, the carrier in Japan, where I live.  While visiting the United States recently, I bought an Apple Wireless Keyboard from an Apple retailer.   I wanted to carry it with me for use with my iPhone, so I would reliably have a convenient way to access the Internet without being confined to the touchscreen keyboard.  (I live in a rural area where WiFi spots are uncommon, but my iPhone's access to Softbank's data network is fairly good and consistent.)
However, to my frustration, I can't use the keyboard due to a mapping problem.  The Bluetooth connection is fine -- the iPhone can discover the keyboard.  However, the mapping is off: typing "Q" gets me "A," typing "Z" gets me "W", numbers and punctuation are off, etc.  The key point: This is NOT a problem with the International Keyboard settings (under the Settings -> General -> Keyboard -> International Keyboards menu).  I have the Keyboard setting set to QWERTY, which is the layout of the Apple keyboard; I have tried all the other possibilities, just in case.  None of them work.  Setting the Keyboard setting to QWERTY does not make the external QWERTY keyboard map correctly.
The rather ironic addendum is this: While on a recent trip to Tokyo, I visited the Apple store in Shibuya and, after concluding the main business of my visit (discussing my MacBook's battery problems with an English-speaking staffer), I took out my iPhone and keyboard and asked him about my mapping problem.  He started with the Keyboard menu, tried the same things I had tried, realized they weren't working, and puzzled over the problem for a while.  Then he did this: He hit a key combination (I believe) that brought up a menu on the iPhone's screen.  "Ah, there's your problem," he said, and selected a new setting.  The problem was instantly fixed.
To my chagrin, however, I neglected to write down what "Ken" had done to fix the problem.  Argh... I was looking at the iPhone upside-down; I'd already taken up more than half an hour; people were waiting, and I guess, being used to living in the countryside now, that I'm not used to Shibuya crowds any more.  Anyway, I didn't take careful notes or ask him to walk me through it, and now I cannot recall or repeat what he did.  And I still can't use my keyboard!
Any ideas or advice, anyone?  How did "Ken" fix my problem, and how can I repeat it?  Much, much appreciated, in advance.

THAT'S IT.  Sir, you have solved my problem.  Thank you!!
And I feel a little silly; this will doubtless seem to an expert as if it should have been obvious all along.  But isn't that always the way in hindsight?
Here's what happened: The key combination I was trying to remember was "Apple/command + space on the hardware keyboard," as you just said above.  The "menu" it brings up is, apparently, a list of keyboards.  I take it that this list is the same as the list of the "virtual" keyboards on the iPhone?  I have never had more than one external keyboard -- the Apple Wireless -- but I do have several keyboards active virtually, as the iPhone in Japan seems to come with both the "Nihongo Ten-key" and the "Nihongo Romaji" keyboards active, and I added several other languages as well.
When I hit "Apple/command + space," this list comes up on the iPhone's touchscreen.  Highlighted and checked at the top is "English," just as if it had been selected all along.  But nonetheless, when I first turn on and pair my keyboard with the iPhone, I need to perform this key-combination action, as if to "reselect" English, and then the keyboard promptly starts working properly as QWERTY.  I can only assume that one of the others had been default-selected before -- presumably one of the Nihongo ones? -- and that this was causing the interference.
Thank you again!  You have made me and my wireless keyboard very happy.

  • HT4111 Bluetooth connection Logitech keyboard

My iPad's software was updated automatically. Now I turn the Bluetooth on and it doesn't find any device to pair with.
I need it to identify my Logitech keyboard, which shows a blue or green light.
I turned the iPad on and off, but nothing changed.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks.

    hi all
by a stroke of luck i worked it out - turns out you have to switch the keyboard off, then when switching it on you have to keep your finger on the power button - the green light will flash until the connection is made.

  • I have a 2011 iMac 27" i7 and the bluetooth connected trackpad, keyboard, and mouse all go haywire after awhile. This just began today and cannot make the issue go away. Nothing was downloaded, no software updates, etc. please help!

Oops, sorry, using my iPad for this. My iMac's Bluetooth-connected devices are going haywire after awhile of use. All three things--the trackpad, keyboard, and mouse--act up, especially the trackpad, by being overly sensitive and often just clicking and moving on its own. I've restarted the computer, I've swabbed batteries out of the devices, and nothing has worked so far in solving this issue. I downloaded Lion when it came out and had the update last week (I think), but today is the first day to experience this issue and nothing was downloaded today. I've been sending out a flurry of emails, but nothing else to hint at why this problem happened. Any ideas??

Humm, thank you. I have my iPhone and iPad on the wireless network, and yeah--using the rechargable batteries. I'll try normal batteries and re-join the phone and get back to you. May take a day or so because the semester starts today. Thank you again.

  • Problem with wireless keyboard and wireless mouse

All of a sudden, after more than 6 mos., I am having problems with both the wireless keyboard and wireless mouse. I am getting a "connection lost" message on the screen with a picture of the keyboard. It only stays there a few seconds, disappears, then the keyboard is ok again.
The mouse is even more frustrating. I am not using the ball for scrolling, just moving the mouse to move the pointer. It will be working perfectly, then for 15 to 30 seconds will either not respond, or be extremely slow, then be ok again. This has repeated a number of times today, especially when I am in iTunes. The batteries are fine in both devices, since I had the problem, changed the batteries, and still have these problems. Any ideas?

Brian, I called Apple and I think they fixed the problem with the keyboard. Unfortunately, I did not write down the exact keystroke sequence they gave me, but let me tell you what I did. I unplugged the computer and waited 60 seconds. After I plugged in back in, I was told to immediately hold down 4 keys. I think they were something like Ctrl, Command, Shift, and R. Those may not be the exact keys, maybe it was Option instead of Ctrl, and maybe R is not right. I am not sure. Those keys are held down until the second beep is heard after the computer was turned on. Supposedly, this re-established connections between the computer and the keyboard. Sorry I did not write down the key combination. If you can, call Apple and get the proper key stroke combination

  • Problems connecting 1 monitor and 1 TV to 2gb DDR3 AMD Radeon 7570 video card.

I recently purchased an Hp h8-1360t computer with a 2gb DDR3 AMD Radeon 7570 video card and an Hp 2711 LED monitor. I am having problems connecting both the monitor (dvi) and a 50" Sony LCD TV (hdmi) with a 50' hdmi cable. When starting the computer, once the initial Win 7 boot up is finished, the monitor screen goes blank, except for the mouse pointer. When I turn on the tv and select the correct input source a normal Win 7 screen with icons appears on the tv. Only the wallpaper picture displays on the monitor and no icons. If play a dvd movie it will only show up on the tv with the sound coming from the speakers attached to the computer.
I would like to retain control of the computer using the monitor. I tried to set the monitor up as the primary display source using the monitor configuration menu, but it won't allow me to save the dvi connection as the primary display source. The documentation that came with the computer and what I was able to find on the Hp site is lacking....to say the least.
Any assistance with this problem will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Tony

First I would disconnect the TV HDMI cable from the computer.  That should return the PC screen to normal.  May have to reboot to get normal.  Then reconnect the TV HDMI and go into the screen setup routine, paying attention to which screen is supposed to display what information.

  • New MX5500 Logitech Keyboard and Mouse Set.

Alright so i just got the new desktop set for my main rig. The MX5500 keyboard and mouse set from logitech. Always been a loyal fan of logitech and ALWAYS loved theere product. Though this is the first REAL buy for a rig since i've switched to linux. I pushed for the $160 rig, which i loved while at the store. Has a few features, like the (flip by button, or flip windows by side mouse button, AKA window vista features) That i know i will not get to work when im booted in linux, thats all fine, but a few as far as the media player and photo gallery keys i was wondering if there was a way to set them up to use Default media player set in linux and when booted in Windows the default in it, rather than just windows media player in vista and thus far nothing at all in linux. No BIG deal, just a good 6 keys i can't really take advantage of , regardless i still love the keyboard and mouse set with what it still can do and will enjoy the other features when booted in windows. But if there's a way anyone knows to do what i asked above it would be GREAT! Thanx -Peace

Run xev, press the keys and look at the output. Once you know the keycodes you can do anything you want with the keys using xbindkeys and also bind it to other keys/X11 features with xmodmap.

  • Unable to connect Bluetooth Keyboard and magic mouse

I am unable to connect to either my keyboard or mouse. I have a bluetooth keyboard and magic pad in my office that was paired to my Macbook pro but I am not bringing it anymore sense getting my iPad. The iPad seems to see the keyboard but not the pad. But neither will connect. I'm baffled.
Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

What do you mean the iPad sees the keyboard but will not connect? Have you un-paired it from the other computer? Should do that first, then do the pairing with the iPad...if it is a supported keyboard. Posters have noted they are unable to pair the old A1016 Bluetooth keyboard, ca 2005, with the iPad.

  • Starting problems, computer freezes, keyboard and mouse stop working

Hi can anyone help? My powerbook has just stopped working, rarely starts, when it does keyboard and mouse stop working after a while or even before i am able to login. At one point I was getting a grey screen with the words, memory access invalid???? Please help...
    powerbook G4

power surge could have damaged something inside, or it maybe unrelated to the problem.
PowerBook can get hot if there is some short circuit inside and power flow is disrupted, also it's possible that the fans are not working properly.
as a guess, it is likely either hard drive or logic board problem.

  • Serious problem with sr1901wm keyboard and mouse lock after compaq sign windows vista

keyboard and mouse have intermittent lock up, but i can get both to work fine after many restarts new battery, power supply every thing else in on the motherboard.  sometimes the mouse works and the keyboard doesn't and the other way around, please help i am at a loss and have been doing this for many years

Just to let you know that I found the issue. After uninstalling my antivirus software and rebooted the lappy, the problem went away. I figured out that was due to my license subscription got expired.

  • Helix will not connect with keyboard and touch pad

This is kind of wierd.  It's been doing this since I've owned it.  I have a Thinkpad USB 3.0 port replicator.  When I get to work, I used to turn the screen around backwards on the keyboard and plug it into the PR.  That way all you could see was the screen.  Now I have a tablet stand and I remove it from the keyboard and set it in the stand.  The problem I'm having is that when I have it reversed on the keyboard OR off of the keyboard all together for a period of time (say, 30 minutes) and I re-attach it to the keyboard, I can't use the keyboard or trackpad unless I press the power button for 20 seconds and hard reset the tablet.  It see's the battery and plays the audio that tells me it see's it, but the pad and keyboard are unresponsive.  It's frustrating.  A standard reboot/restart will not fix the problem.  I have made sure my tablet and keyboard have the latest BIOS and firmware updates.
    SMBIOS - 2.7
    UEFI Bios - 1.27
    Embedded Controller Version - 1.21
It's frustrating to have to force a restart every single time I want to dock it after it's been off the keyboard for more than 20 minutes.
    Any idea's?
    Gavin

Does Axis say it is compatible with a 4G iPod with iOS 6.1?
    Sometimes this works
    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
