Problems connecting RAZR via Bluetooth

Hey guys...
I have an iBook G4 1.33MHz running 10.4.7 but, for some reason, my RAZR will not pair with my iBook. It just will flat out not discover it.
I go to my phone, click on discoverable, and let that run. Meahwhile, I run the wizzard to connect and no matter if I choose mobile phone or any bluetooth device, my iBook fails to find my phone, even though it's 10 inches away.
Any help would be appreciated.

I've done this so be patient; wait until you've actually hit the search function in the bluetooth setup utility. Then hit discover me on the phone [it probably won't work the 1st time]. Then hit search again and the phone [if necessary]. Just keep trying in this order first the Mac, then the phone, and you should get it, it is a little more difficult than other bluetooth devices.

Chances are you mis-typed a character in the Wifi password and the devices saved that information. Now whenever you try to connect the device refers to the wrong password and the Jetpack does not accept your connection. Tell your devices to forget the wireless connection and start over.
Once you enter the proper WiFi credentials the Jetpack will allow you to connect.

well, that only possible if the call comes through the mac
if it was a landline, then you connect the phoneline into the modem, thru the software, then back out the modem and out to the phone. I have sucessfully done this on a windows machine
i suppose cellphones can be used as modems, so you could hook it upto the mac and then answer the call thru your mac's speakers and microphone...youll need to develop or find the appropriate software to this tho.

I have the same issue.
I'm trying to use PC suite (downloaded from nokia site as the proper one for 6230i rel 7) connecting 6230i via bluetooth. Pc and phone are "associated" but when i launch the PC suite I get an error message: "It is not possible to recognize the phone".
I read a lot of post but nobody seems to have solved the issue!
From Bluetooth application I can read files on pc ... so che bluetooth connection seems to work properly; it appears as a PC suite bug .. really boring!
Nokia team can help us ?

Hey sorry for the late reply, I was busy to figure out alternatives as harman kardon was a difficult affair to find and acquire, but the good news is I managed to get hold of alternative.
Sony I assume recently launched a Bluetooth headphone DR-BTN200 which is compatible to my MacBook Air , iPad mini and android phone galaxy s2 with ease, the sound quality is pretty good as compared to other brands of Bluetooth headphones I checked compatible or incompatible to apple devices alike, this is definitely what I was looking for, costed me 7990 INR, this is highly recommended for ppl who are confused, I carried my devices to the store and checked before I bought a pair and pretty much happy,
The best part of this is its battery backup, I have used this hours for 3-5 days but this has not drain even then, but I do keep this charging once in 2-3 days just to keep this ready otherwise it does not even ask for it neither the quality of sound drops after 2-3 days of use.
This is over the ear headphone which is very soft but it's get sweaty around the ear I guess that's bound to happen.
Do get back to me for any other details, would be glad to share with all :)

Connecting keyboard via bluetooth to Panasonic Viera or Apple TV

My apple keyboard is discoverable when viewing settings on my apple PC however when I try to connect by keyboard via Bluetooth to my Panasonice Viera TV or Apple TV under settings>bluetooth, the keyboard name never appears and the bluetooth search mode keeps searching not recognizing the keyboard. Solution or steps to resolve issue known? Please help

Problems connecting Wii via wi-fi to Home Hub 5

Sorry if this has been posted before. New Home Hub 5 - but my Wii will not connect to the internet - although it clearly can see the hub. Nintendo book suggests using a static IP address or checking for MAC filtering - how DO i get into hub manager???

It could also be that the Wii has a problem with the dual frequencies on the Homehub 5.
Try giving the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz frequencies different SSids. Just add a 5 to the end of the 5Ghz SSid so you know which is which. Check the 5 GHz Sync with 2.4 GHz: is set to NO.
You'll need to connect your other devices that can use both frequencies to both SSids if you want them to be able to use both frequencies.

It might be that your Wii can not use the security that the homehub uses. You may have to change the WPA/WPA2 security to WEP on the 2.4Ghz frequency.

OVI Problem While Authenticating via Bluetooth

Hi, I´m having troubles while authenticating an 5800 XpressMusic via bluetooh with OVI Suite.
All works fine until the moment to enter the password for pairing.
I enter in both sides and the suite alerts me that "The device cannot be authorized", but whet I press the BACK button, the icon in the device list show the phone as paired (and the first time in list, not appear paired), so, the pairing is done, in IVT Bluesoleil I also see the device as paired, but the connection wizard keeps insisting on the password process, so I can see my device in the connection list.
This works perfect in another computher with the same Bluesoleil software and the same BT dongle.
All the same but the Windowx XP language. (works on english, doesn´t work in spanish)
Any ideas?
I also tested reinstalling all.

My hardware details:
PC: Win XP Professional SP3 Spanish (the same but in english, works)
IVT Bluesoleil: 6.4.237
OVI version 1.1 (Spanish & English...tried both..same results.

When I use either OVI suite or Pc suite the bluetooth connexion is not available. However I am able to connect directly thru my PC bluetooth service center. On the phone I can see the connexion but I can not use it to synchronise.
I have checked my bluetooth stack thru the about help of both ovi suite and pc suite, and I don't get any message saying that it is not correct the version is : 5.1.2600

Pls help. I'm able to connect my N8 to my laptop's win7 home premium but not to OVI suite or PC Suite.
They get connected with N8 over cable but not over bluetooth. PC Suite says "Can not authenticate the phone" and ovi suite keeps checking the "Phone's bluetooth capabilities".
Kindly help.

I have 2 iPads, why can't I connect them via Bluetooth?

Both my iPads show up under Bluetooth, but they will not connect. I'm not sure how to get them too. The manual is absolutely no help! Thanks to whoever can answer my dilemma.

You would need to confirm with AT&T, but to the best of my knowledge a data plan cannot be shared; you'd need a plan for each iPad.

In order to use your Nokia X2-01 as a modem, I advise you to follow the steps below:
1) First of all uninstall Pc Suite and Ovi Suite by installing PC Suite cleaner on your PC.
2) Then restart your computer
3) Download Nokia Suite and open the program
4) Connect your device by USB cable and in Nokia Suite go to Options > Connect to internet
Your computer will now be connected to your phone's 3G internet connection.
Make sure you benefit from a data plan from your network provider.
Let us know how you get on and please post any other questions you may have.

Version 6 Fails to connect 8520 via Bluetooth

I updated BB Desktop Software to the new version 6 and no more Bluetooth connection is established between BB 8520 and my notebook running Windows XP Professional SP3.

Since upgrading to iOS6 and the new iTunes software, I have trouble connecting my iPhone 4s to iTunes via wifi. I must shut down the iPhone and restart it to connect via wifi to iTunes. But this works only once, the process must be repeated each time. Does anyone else have this issue? Is there a resolution?

Try a different USB port or sync cable.
Close and restart iTunes on the PC.
Restart the PC.
