Problems de installing flash cs 3 proffessional

Hi folks,
I don´t know any further:
After I tried to install the flash cs 3 prof. I came only
untill the end of the loading process (of the setup.exe), the setup
window broke up. I retried with/ without firewalls. All apliactions
except for win explorer closed, note restarted, everything linked
to macromedia flash / flash player de installed. But if I try to de
install the prog (which DO appear in the "software" list) the de
installation process also brakes up.
Any idea ?!

Am I the only one with this problem ? I can´t imagine..
come on folks, help me..
damn I should have chosen "sexy_ladie" or "navie_and_blond"
as username instead of "s21w21w1sa" - haha, but you don´t
guess what it means...

Try what klaush67354338 suggests. I had the same problem and his workaround worked perfectly for me.

Problem with installing Flash player 14 in my Macbook Pro

I tried to install Flash player 14 in my Macbook Pro, however, it stuck at "retrieving install" screen, it is supposed to be a new version, anybody has the same problem?

Yes same issue. I even tried chatting with adobe support but they did not help as I am not a paid subscriber. I have seen many others with the same issue. I hope adobe is aware of this. am trying to contact them.

Registry problems when installing Flash Player

Hi, first of all, sorry for any misspelling, I'm Argentinian . I'm writing here because I've tried a LOT of ways and solutions to install Flash Player for IE, here some facts:
I mostly use Google Chrome, that has the FP already installed, but i have a problem with the ActiveX control, I can install Flash player 11 for windows but Not ActiveX... i read that that's a tool for IE, so i thought i wouldn't be needing it, but when i tried to execute a program (Game Ranger) it said that i needed ActiveX control and that i didn't have it in my computer.. So i started to check for solutions, etc etc. and finally give it up because i just couldn't do it, but well now I started again because I want to know if it's something important to have..
The problem when installing is this: It starts to download Flash Player.. then install it and when it's in 51% it stops and a message appears saying: registry error. this is what happens when I try to install ActiveX, not Flash Player itself because as I said earlier I can install it...
All I want to know is if there's some way to allow Flash Player installation to change registry values.. because i think that's the main problem.. i think. Thank you for reading.

Problems after installing Flash Player 11

OS: WIN XP 32 bit
Browser: IE 8 32 bit
After sucessfully uninstalling previous version, and downloading latest version of Flash Player 11, computer freezes up and shuts down when trying to stream video clip, incuding clips that sucessfully played on previous version. Spent numerous hours going through Adobe's FAQs and trying mutiple suggestions with no success. To keep machine running, performed System Restore to pre Flash Player 11 condition. Please help.

I chose to pass on the Hardware acceleration suggestion, and find a more permanent solution.
After another late night of working the issue, problem solved! Flash Player 11 up and running with no problems.
1. System restore to a point prior to downloading Flash 11 for the first time.
2. Virus, Spyware and Malware scans.
3. Clean Registry
4. Windows update and Antivirus update
5. Clean registry
6. Download latest driver for video card
7. Windows update and Antivirus update
8. Clean registry
9. Uninstall Flash Player 10 / Install Flash Player 11
Note: Though I received confirmation of successful download before, the confirmation page this time had a completely different look. It proved to be a good sign.

Problem re-installing flash

Seeing that the Leopard compatible flash update is out, I followed instructions and used their uninstaller for all browsers, but as I try to install flash player 9, it gets to the very end, then stops and says there is an error, saying that I do not have permission. It did not ask for my password at any point, and I am the admin (only user). Any ideas what is up?

I ran into the same problem and visited the Adobe site. I found the following solution. I tried it and it worked.

Problem to install Flash Player.

No. ActiveX is a Microsoft technology and not supported in Firefox. You only need the ActiveX version if you use Internet Explorer.
Could you try starting Firefox in Safe Mode and see if that makes any difference. To do that, click "Help", then "Restart with add-ons disabled". Firefox will close and then you'll see a menu. Don't checkmark any of the boxes; just click the button called "Continue in Safe Mode". Firefox will subsequently restart with all your add-ons disabled.

Problem with installing Flash

Hi there,
I've been having problems with ff crashing with flash sites
and then I have noticed that Flash isn't installing properally
since it goes to load the setup and gets to 100% and disappears of
the task bar. Checked the processes and it's still running in the
background but doesn't do anything. Here is the install log file
and I can see that it can't do a couple of things and right at the
bottom it even says "Could not execute the external program
C:\PROGRA~1\MOZILL~1\FIREFOX.EXE -url "%1".". Just wondered if
someone could help.

Big Quicktime Problems, after installing Flash Player

Hello,
I have a big problem. For some Reason, I got a notice yesterday, when I visited some website, noticing me that I would have to install this Adobe Flash Player (Must be the newest one) I did so but now I can't see any more Flash animations in the web. There allways comes out the quicktime symbole with a questionmark in it. I still can watch normal movies with it. Thanks so much for help

Open the Quicktime preference panel Uncheck Enable Flash then and go to the Advance tab-->MIME Settings-->Miscellaneous-->Miscellianeous file format-->uncheck the Flash box....

Problems while installing flash player.

when i want to watch a video on certain websites i receive a msg saying that this website functions better with firefox, i downloaded firefox and still the videos wouldn't play with the claim that i need to download flash player- when i already had. i downloaded it over and over again and the problem has not been resolved.

The latest version of Adobe FlashPlayer can be obtained from here:

(You can check here: http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about/ to see which version you should install for your Mac and OS.
You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):

and also that you follow the instructions closely, such as closing ALL applications first before installing. You must also carry out a permission repair after installing anything from Adobe.

Problem with installing Flash on Windows 7

I intstalled flash and enabled the setting for my internet explorer browser under manage add ons. I also checked and saw it listed in the control panel programs. However, it is not working. I tried the adobe help site, and flash is not registering. I tried a rich media site (you tube) and it did not recognize flash. So, I know I am missing something. If anyone has any recommendations, I certainly would appreciate the assistance!

Download the following files by right clicking and selecting "Save target as"
Flash Player Uninstaller
Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)
Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
Save ALL files to your Downloads folder - DO NOT RUN anything yet.
Reboot your system.
BEFORE opening anything else, go to your Downloads folder and run the UNINSTALLER to remove all instances of Flash Player.
Next, run the ActiveX Installer.
Lastly, run the Installer for other browsers.
Once Flash Player is installed go to: http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/alternates/#sp
Download BOTH files, the one on the right FIRST by right clicking and selecting "Save target as"... the other by clicking and following the steps to dwonload the FULL ActiveX installer.
After the "Slim" installer runs, run the FULL from your downloads folder.
Once everything is installed, see:Enabling Flash Player in Internet Explorer and: ActiveX Filtering in Internet Explorer to make 100% sure that Flash Player is enabled and NOT being blocked by ActiveX controls.

Performance problems since installing Flash 10.0.32.18

Hi there
About 2 days ago I was prompted to upgrade to the new version of Adobe Flash Player (10.0.32.18) before the upgrade, flash was working perfectly and was able to watch HD videos with no trouble. However since then I have had major issues with all browsers on my computer. (IE8, Firefox and Chrome) I cannot watch standard quality videos without my CPU shooting up to 100% its even worse with HD videos on YouTube and BBCiPlayer, my computer completely slows down and I struggle to get out of full screen mode. Andy, I'd like to see you roll back to the previous version (just to retest).
1. Uninstall using the uninstaller in this technote: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html
2. Install the previous FP10 version from this archive technote: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/142/tn_14266.html
3. Retest. Keep notes of your results.
The other thing you should concentrate on is just testing with one browser and noting your results specific to that brower. I say this because Flash Player for IE is an activeX control, and Firefox and chrome use a Flash Player plugin. They do the same thing, but they're different technologies and it's important to have comparisons when testing them (ie, 'does x in ff, but not in ie').

I am once again going through the headache of trying to install the latest version of the Flash Player. I get a Internal error message which says: Library loaded outside of protected directory 0 (version.dll)
Can you tell me what this means.
