Problems downloading an update to an app

Hi. I am trying to download the latest update to the Cineplex Mobile app. Since the update is larger than 20mb, I get a message telling me to either download form the iTunes store or use a WiFi network. However, when I try to download from iTunes, it won't work. I then tried to delete the original version of the app from my iPhone, but the icon won't shake or develop an X in the corner. Can someone please help me with this. Thanks.

iTunes Support wasn't of any use to me.
I have also been having another problem - with BBC iPlayer and other video streaming not working due to insufficient bandwidth, despite my overall download speed being consistently around 50Gb. This is also affecting AppleTV downloads
I am using Virgin Media as my ISP, and was wondering whether you do as well. This might be the common thread.

Been having the same problem on my iPhone 5. My App Store opens, but when I go to download anything, the download just times out. It sounds as though you have a corrupt project - or possibly a file within an event that is causing the application to crash.
Quit FCP X, then move your projects and events (if you have any) to new folders so that FCP X doesn't find them, then relaunch the application. If it launches OK, there's a very good chance one of your projects or events is causing the problem.
Quit the app again, then move one event or project at a time back to the original folder and launch FCP X again - keep going until you find the cause.

That Apple ID is stored inside those applications. Leave them as is and ask your friend to do the updating.

Do you see two versions of iMovie in your Application folder?
You can drag the icons out of the dock and then drag what you want back to the dock from the Application folder.

Try this...
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
Then restart the device > Phone, iPad, iPod touch: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
Then try downloading or updating your apps.
No data will be lost as a result of a reset.

2; a brief synopsis of what apps or software you're trying to download.
At the bottom of any community members' replies it will have a brief list of the equipment they have and whatever software they're running.
Could you please be more concise with the details of what you are trying to do, and we are more than happy to help. Even more experienced members have problems from time to time.
It would also help if you could take a screenshot to illustrate what you are experiencing.
To do that, if you are using a keyboard, press 'Command', 'shift' and '4'. A 'crosshair' looking like a gunsight will appear on your screen. With your mouse, or trackpad, finger depressed, move the crosshair to the onscreen image, move the crosshair across (from the top left corner) and drag down (to the bottom right corner) until you've covered the area you want to show and just release your finger. the screen shot will appear on your screen. To show it as part of your query page, click on the camera icon and a window will appear asking you to choose an image or file. Click on the screen shot, and then click on 'Insert. Job done.

When i am trying to download or update something, i get this messege:

it has past 7 days, and i still get this messege.

See if this works...
Quit the App Store if it's open.
Launch iTunes.
From the iTunes menu bar click iTunes / Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Click: Reset warnings & Reset cache.
Restart your computer.
Try the App Store.

Is it also possible that you have a movie or song or podcast that coudl be 'stuck'? That's happened with many people. It's like the download pipe is a one lane road and any 'broken down' download jams up traffic behind it until it's deleted or resolved.

Have you check the following?
Verify that airplane mode is off by tapping Settings > Airplane Mode.
Reset the network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Note: This will reset all network settings, including Bluetooth pairing records, Wi-Fi passwords, VPN, and APN settings
Ensure that your device is using the latest software.
If your issue is still unresolved, perform a software restore in iTune

I am having problem downloading the creative cloud itself. It first said error 201. Then I downloaded the installer a second time. It is now stuck at a fifth of the entire download for the past half hour. What to do?

If you are using Windows please cancel the current installation. Once the installation is canceled please rename the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE folder to OOBE_old. Once the folder is renamed please try installing the Creative Cloud Desktop application from https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.
