Problems downloading creative education suite

I have been able to successfully download the illustrator and in design files but the main creative suite files are not downloading. I have a new mac book pro and not understanding why this is so difficult. is this because it is an educational package that there is some delay.

    Dmatthews5 do you receive any specific error messages when you try to download?  Is the error occurring when downloading and installing the Creative Cloud Desktop application?

  • Having a problem downloading Creative Suite

    Ok, My computer needed to be wiped.
    I need to re-install all of the Program files.  None of this has been a problem until Creative Suite.
    I go to my Acct. download the installer and I get an error.
    "Error Writing to file C:/Users/myname/AppData/Local/ Akamai/admintool.exe
    What is up?
    Why have I not had this problem when installing other files?
    HELP!!!!

    I am having problem downloading the creative cloud itself. It first said error 201. Then I downloaded the installer a second time. It is now stuck at a fifth of the entire download for the past half hour. What to do?

  • Problems downloading Creative Suite 6 (Not in my order list, and says serial code wrong)

    I am in school for web design, and i have got some programs from adobe creative suite 6. I had restore my computer to factory settings due to other issues. I tried to back up everything, but when i put it back on it wont work. The school helped me get the programs so it is not on my order list. When i first downloaded it, it was from a email. I was told to try and do it again from same email, but it says serial code is wrong. I have 3 assignments late now, and i need this program to do any of them. Please help me asap. (Note: My serial code works other places and when really needed to, wont.)

  • Problem downloading Digital Publishing Suite for CS5

    When I download the file (AdobeDigitalPublishing-All.dmg) from the Adobe website I receive an error code when trying to open the file.
    "Install" is damaged and can't be opened. You should eject the disk image. I've tried redownloading it several times but I continually receive the same error when trying to open the file. Does anyone know the problem? Mac OS X 10.8.2

The folks at Adobe re-installed the programs on my computer, but didn't install a full version on my computer, so I am re-assessing my subscription which has been paid for, and I need to find my serial number to re-install the full version of my programs, but I can't find it for the life of me.   • Can't download Creative Suite 5.5

    I'm having problems downloading Creative Suite 5.5 onto my brand new MacBook Pro.  I have 5 identical laptops and purchased 5 licenses of the suite to put onto them.  I downloaded the suite onto the first 4 easily and they're working fine.  The 5th, however, won't load.  All the downloads open except fr DesignPremium_CS5_LS1.dmg, which says it can't be found even after the download is complete.  I've tried wiping all the downloads out and starting over several times--just in case I somehow missed one of the many files.  Any suggestions?  I'm not even sure which company to contact with the problem. Does this sound like a problem with Adobe or a problem with the computer?

    I have downloaded Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium Trial but at the end of the download it brings up this error message: "Error extracting the product installer (error 101). Check for available disk space on your system and try downloading the product again." I am using a Dell laptop. I definitely have ample disk space. I don't want to download the product again as it has taken many hours and 3.6 GB to download. Please help! Thanks

    Did you customize the location for the trial to download?  We often times see this happen when users select their Program Files folder to download the install files too.  I would recommend trying to download to your user folder or desktop.

    Thanks for your reply. I was able to find help through a tech support chat session and the person helped me edit my /etc/hosts file and it solved the problem.
    For anyone else experiencing this issue (Mac OS X):
    Close all other programs and sign out from the Adobe Desktop App
    From the Finder, Go > Go to Folder...
    Type /etc and hit enter
    Find "hosts" file (only "hosts", there were similar files such as hosts.config but only open the one that says "hosts"
    Open the file, and replace the entire content with ### Host Database## localhost is used to configure the loopback interface#
    Close the file, sign back into the Adobe Desktop App
    Problem solved!

  • Downloading Creative Suite after 90% installed, said Error w/ no solution?

    Downloading Creative Suite 5.5 and after 90% installed, told me to quit Firefox, I did, then it said Error (1) with no instructions as to what the error is and how to solve it.
    Do I need to be connected to the internet by any chance? I'm wireless and never have my computer hooked up downstairs but can move it if that could be the problem.
