Problems downloading Elements 10 updates?

I have received updates to both Elements 10 and Premiere Elements 10 but the error message is saying I need to close down the Elements AutoAnalyser.exe file before the update can proceed. How do I proceed?

Which operating system are you using? You can close the process using either the task manager or activity monitor depending on the operating system you are using?

Having a problem downloading Elements 13. At the end of download it states that "signing in with an Adobe ID is required to install this product" so I sign in and the boxes just keep spinning.

This is a common issue and a solution could have been quickly found by doing a search.
Disable any Anti-Virus and Firewall software on the computer, then run the update.

Problems downloading PC Companion update

Hi,
I recently bought an x10 mini pro and have some difficulties with the PC software. The SW installed without problems from the mobile, but all connections to internet fail. It wants to update itself, but is never succesful. I have an 8Mbit broadband connection, wireless router and three different computers running Windows XP SP3. I have Google Chrome as standard browser on all PCs.
I have installed PC Companion on all three computers at home. On all three computers the installation failed in the step 'Installing MTP Support', sometimes right away, sometimes after a long timeout (I've tried many times by now). When pressing 'skip' the SW installed succesfully, and I can succesfully connect to the mobile. But I cannot do anything with the software, since everything requires contact to the internet, and this fails.
I suspected some obscure setting in my internet connection that PC Companion maybe doesn't like, so I've also tried to install the software on two computers at work. The result was exactly the same. Both computers running Windows XP.
Now when I boot my computers PC Companion pops up and says it requires an update. The update starts up ok, but quickly slows down to almost no throughput. Today I tried to let it run to see if it picked up speed later. At 9.51, after more than an hour, it had downloaded 393 kB of 17.4 MB. An hour later, 465 kB. At 12.00, 632 kB. At 12.21 it reported an error. I retried a few times, always the same pattern: The first 350 kB arrived in less than a second, then the speed slows down to approximately nothing.
As PC Companion doesn't offer any configuration possbilities I have no idea what to try to fix the problem. I've tried googling it, but found nothing. But I find it odd that the same problem then appears on 5 different computers!

I did try this before, this shows the exact same problem (which is why I suspected my internet settings). I tried to start it manually again now, From Google Chrome download page:

"10 dage tibage" means "10 days left".
A quick internet speed test shows 7,47 Mbit/s - and I don't have problems downloading other stuff.

Just to show that this is not a general problem with my internet connection I started the download again today, and then afterwards download of another file (ad-aware):

I Tried to download Elements 11. It seemed to download ok but all I got was a file called PhotoshopElements_11_WWEFDJ.dmg.part. When I click on it I get a "not recognized" message. Where is my software?

Settings>General>Reset (at the far bottom)>Reset All Settings
That will ALWAYS work for the "3 Security Questions - Timed Out problem". No data will be lost, but your network settings will be reset.

Solved: Problem downloading 4.1 update for Mac in Safari 5.1.7: Try Firefox.

The download worked in Firefox (don't know which version, since the auto update just jumped to version 13.0), having the correct file size. But it did not have the correct download size in Safari 5.1.7. The file also appears for download on the Adobe FTP site: ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/lightroom/mac/4.x/Lightroom_4_LS11_mac_4 _1.dmg

So the Shockwave Flash plugin in FF is Installed and Enabled. That's why Flash Player is working and why you were able to see the Flash Player logo animation. On the other hand, evidently the Shockwave Flash plugin is either not Installed in Safari or if it is it is Disabled. And that is why it's not working and you can't see the Flash Player logo.
Yes, I know Flash Player can be Installed in any supported 64bit OS. Also I thot that the 64bit browser in Mac was the "default" browser and the "Compatibility layer" had to be used. Similiar to the PC IE8 or IE9, switching over to the Compatibility feature in the browser.
Do you need to activate the Compatibility feature? I have had other Mac users tell me that their problem was they were using the 64bit browser and found out they had to use the 32bit browser, so I thot it was something they had to do. I would think if it was automatic they would not have had to "do" anything. But like I said I don't use Mac so can only relate what they tell me.
With Safari on either of the test sites, no Flash Player version was displayed?
Look into the HD/Library/Internet Plug-ins/ directory and see if you have the below two files:
Flash Player.plugin, flashplayer.xpt

Problems downloading Apple TV update

I have just restored my Apple TV to factory settings (Firmware 1.0) as I was having some wireless problems.
Basically I have just restored it but not uploaded any media yet. I have gone to Download Update and then it just hangs. Spends ages and ages "Downloading update". then just says can not download at the moment please try again later. Connected wirelessly via Airport express.
Have had it working on 1.1 before reset.
Any thoughts....?

I think your previous connectivity problems are likely associated with the current problems the unit has connecting to the download server. This is likely a router setting issue although I suppose the server could be busy. If it's still the same in a few hours, I'd suspect to router settings.

Experiencing problems download OS X updates

As anyone been experiencing issue download from the AppStore, software updates to OS X Mountain Lion;
go to update but keep getting an error has occurred (The operation couldn't e completed. (NSURLErrorDomain error - 3001.)(102).
What ever that means.

This problem is due to an issue on Apple's end. What that problem is is unclear, but when the same thing happened a month or so ago, one expert I know of was theorizing that it may have been a denial-of-service attack on Apple's servers.
In any case, there's only one thing you can do to solve the problem: wait. Give it a couple days and check for updates again. Alternatively, try downloading updates directly from Apple's website instead. You can find them here:

HELP!! I'm having a problem downloading the newest updates for Missing e tumblr extension.

I can't install the update, I've tried several times with no avail. I even restarted several times, even installed the latest beta version of firefox - firefox 9 but still can't update. I contacted the author Jeremy @ cuterlish.tumblr.com and he thinks it's an issue with Mozilla. So here I am. Please help me figure out a solution to this problem..it's pretty frustrating.

By sounds of this assume you just use Safari.
And you right click or follow onscreen instructions for manual download, as oppossed to via automatic or software update.
Some programs and even plug-ins do have their own check for updates and download too.

Problem Downloading Nokia Software Updater

Hi. This is my first time using this board so bare with me. Everytime I try and download the program 'Nokia Software Updater' for my N80 I constantly get the error message that I require 256MB free space and then the installation shuts down completely. Currently my system has 51GB free space on the drive and obviously has plenty of room. Anyone else ever suffer the same problem when downloading or know how to solve the problem? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I think it is referring to RAM. If you only have 256RAM and you have a graphic card that takes 64 then you don't have enough and need to use a computer with more RAM.

App store has update for OS server but when I tired to download, error message comes up saying my OS is too new! Anybody having similar problems?

Try restarting the computer. If that doesn't help, create a new administrator user (ie. Test) and try running the update there.

Having problems downloading latest Mac update 1-10-06

Been trying to download the latest ipod update SEVERAL times from two different computers.
I'm downloading the Mac version and it gets stuck at 99.9% in Speed Download 3. It quits well before that in Software Update and in Safari. No matter how I download it, it's not getting here.
Even tried downloading it on a PC. That didn't work, either.
I'm in India right now, and tried to download by saying I was in the US on the form you fill out. I tried to say I was in the UK, and also in India. None of them worked.
I'm at a total loss why the file isn't completing. Please help.

A lot of people, myself included, have been having all sorts or problems with their iPod since they've downloaded this update.
My iPod currently sits in a desk drawer until Apple releases the next update that hopefully fixes all the problems.

I'm unable to download new apps on my iPhone 5, iTunes for PC or iPad 3. I thought it may have been due to my password somehow being wrong but after changing it I'm still unable to update existing apps or download new apps. Is this a general problem or only affecting me?

Problems downloading elements 13 from disc...?

I only want to use the editor...it appears the organizer is there but I am unable access the editor through lightroom 4.
When I go to lightroom and try to edit in elements...the application symbol shows up on the bottom of the screen bounces around but won't open up...wth? I am very frustated as I have tried this...and that for many hours....I have no idea what to do next but to ask for help.
Do I have to put my pics into the organizer??? I don't want to do that....I am using lightroom 4. According to books I've read you can easy peasie go from the light room development to elements editor and then back...thats what I want to do....I am not sure the editor is on my mac but it appears the organizer is...I have had a hell of a time getting it to download....maybe it isn't on there now....
I bought the software through amazon...I have a serial number...when I first started upload I was unable to read some text...so I just clicked on some things....I downloaded the trial version before but thought I uninstalled it....I have tried to install from the disc...thought I installed it and tried again...I never saw when to click I agree or where to put in my serial number...I looked at the disc and just a sliver of silver around the edge is gone....

ok more info...I just opened one photo in elements 13....I wanted to see what was there as far as the editor...here is the screen shot...I was unable to get
to the full editor only the basic stuff opened up...when I tried to open up the editor it just kept buffering....I would have added this to my original question but was unable to figure out how to do that....
