Problems downloading tracks off a cd.... help

i don't know whether there is anything you can do but i have a cd which says on the back "will not play on PC/Mac" and i therefore cannot put tracks onto itunes. it is a newish cd so are record companies getting wise to downloads and fighting back???
is there anyway of getting the computer to recognise the cd so i can download some of the tracks.??

The control key???? i tried it but nothing happened. What does this normally do???

I've just bought and downloaded a track on Nokia Music. When trying to play it (using Nokia Music player) I get the following error message:

Hi!
You should get in contact with Nokia Care (use the contact us link) who should be able to look into your licenses. Make sure to provide you username, which country store you are using, and the title and artist of the track(s) you get this error with. A screenshot of the exact message would also be useful.

Problem downloading multiple images in bytearray, Help !

Hi Everyone,
I m trying to download multiple images on my mobile as a part of my application.
On server side I have used System.arraycopy to merge arrays..
What I did on server side is as follows:
byte[] seperator={'%'};
totalImageArray=image1+seperator+image2
Please note everything is in bytearray.
Now on client side I m not able to extract two images seperately i.e. bytes before seperator and after seperator.
how do i do byte to byte comparison ?
Please guide me as to how I should do this..tips links snippet...??

Wht dont you send images seperate...
For example first write the size of first image as bytes and than write the first image. Then write the size of second image as bytes and than write the second image.
In the client side first read the first number and then read as many as that bytes then create first image. Then read the second number and then read as many as that bytes then create second image.
Server Side...

Problem downloading a game

when i try to download a " user developed" wargame from the game site Repository --i get to point where ---adobe window reader--- shows message --could not open due to either not a a "supported file"or because file was damaged ? have no problems downloading regular demos etc. Help- please P.S. Problems downloading purchased items - please help!

I keep getting error 37 when I try to download music. The songs I have purchased are in my "downloads" list, but they will not download.
The error message on my screen says, "There was a problem downloading some of your purchased items." When I expand this message the list of songs appears, alongside each song it says that the file name may be invalid or too long.
I have been emailing Apple back and forth for days, I get a different advisor replying every time, they obviously don't read the email trail and therefore aren't aware of the troubleshooting steps I've tried so far - basically all of them! They keep sending me duplicate information and I'm now very fed up and frustrated with Apple.
I tried to phone them, was put on hold for 40 mins before speaking to a less than helpful man for a few moments before the call was cut off.
I have tried: Itunes diagnostics (connections are fine), turning off Windows Firewall, ensuring I have the latest version of Itunes, msconfig. They said they had removed the pending downloads from my account and added fresh copies, but this did not work either.
They also said that if I go to the new "Purchased" sections of the Itunes store, I would be able to dowload my previously purchased items, however, this didn't work because the songs had "dowloaded" next to them, so downloading wasn't an option.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd take iTune's word for it and assume the file somehow has become corrupted. I would suggest two things.
(1) try to play the song on the computer where it is stored locally (where you uploaded it to the cloud from) Just want to be certain that your copy will play.
(2) delete the song from your library and the cloud (just highlight it, hit the delete key) When asked if you want to put it in the trash, say no. When you are asked if you want to delete from the cloud, say yes.
(3) go to the store menu and select Update iTunes Match.
(4) go to another computer or iOS device and confirm that the song no longer appears (you shouldn't even see the title, not grayed out, just not there).
(5) go back and add the track back in to your library, hit update iTunes match and watch the progress bar to be certain you see the track title appear - this will help you confirm that the file is actually uploading. Sometimes iTunes match just re-links to the old file in the cloud and that's sure not what you want!
(6) see if the track will play now.
"check for available downloads" only has to do with purchases you made. I don't think it's relevant to the issue you're describing.
Sorry I should have mentioned that the previous suggestion to take the slash out of the title still applies. I would rename it by doing a get info. on it in iTunes before I turned Match back on and uploaded a fresh copy.

Is this happing because the external is formatted to PC and not mac?
Yes that is correct.
Will I need to get a mac external hard drive if I wish to continue to save my documents like this?
If you no longer use a PC you could format this drive for the Mac. However be aware that formatting a drive will erase all the data on it. So you would need someplace to copy the data off this drive to while you did the re-format and then you could copy the data back.
You could get another drive, format it for the Mac and copy the data to it. Then re-format the original drive and use it as a backup drive. Always good to have backups.
Post back with the drive type and size of the current drive, if you are doing backups now and how and if you still need to access this drive from a PC.

Thank goodness it's not just me. I also have tried everything from previous forums and nothing works. I logged out and cannot log back in. Even changed password to no avail. How can we find out if this is an Apple problem.

I also have Jolly's problem. I found the iMovie 9.0.9 folder and tried to launch the older version of iMove. It would not launch. I removed all of the iMovie preferences from the Preferences folder, removed iMove 10 from the applications folder, and restarted my Mac. iMove 9.0.9 still won't launch and I can't access my videos created with the older version of iMovie. Is there a way to uninstall iMovie 10 and reinstall iMovie 9.0.9?
I am running Yosemitie on a iMac.

I've downloaded iOS5 twice, but it will not install on my ipad2. I receive the following message after an hour and 15 minutes of downloading: There was a problem downloading the software for ipad (Gives the ipad name). This network timed out. Ios 6.1 iTunes Match problems: (1) switch off (2) unplayable tracks

The new ios 6.1 operating system has reintroduced single downloads to iTunes Match but seems to have added some serious new problems:
(1) Switching off iTunes Match on the iPhone 4S seems to have no effect. The Music app still pulls from the Cloud. I've tried restarts etc.
(2) Many whole albums that had previously been successfully uploaded to iTunes Match and which were playable and downloadable on the phone before are now unusable. They show as bold listings in the track lists (ie they should be downloaded) and have no download arrows next to them. However when trying to play, the app just skips past them all without managing to play.
(3) The "skipping" past issue seems to be happening with a large number of other tracks, whether downloaded or not.

I have had no problems with iTunes Match, until I updated to 6.1, it seems to work fine on my 4s but on my 4th gen ipad certain songs in the cloud won't play, when I click on it, skips to the next song when it worked just fine in 6.0... I searched for the song in iTunes and it says "play", but when I click on it the screen either turns completely black, with just the date and time at the top, or it goes back to the music app and skips to the next track....weird.... And everything plays just fine on my 4S running 6.1
