Problems downloading trial of Elements 10.

As per the title - I'm on a MacBook Air running the latest OSX, Lion, with all updates. Trying to download Elements and get this message..... "Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 is available only for Windows® or Mac OS. You can learn more about the product trial by viewing the page with a browser in one of the supported operating systems. Visit the system requirements page for more information."

Have you tried downloading the trial from http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop_elements&loc=en_us?

    When you click Download, the download should start automatically. It could be that a pop-up/download blocker/anti-virus is preventing the download.     I am having problem downolading a trial version of Lightroom 4 from the Adobe site. It appears that I can download trial versions of any other digital photography-related product but not of Lightroom 4. About 2 weeks ago I downloaded the trial version of Adobe Elements and I have been getting familiar with it. I have to make a decision on the best product for my needs.
    I went to Vistek shop in Ottawa yesterday and one of the specialist told me that maybe Lightroom would better meet my needs. Prior to purchasing, I am trying to test both product to understand the fundamental differences. For some reason, when I go to the download site ( https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop_lightroom) and click on the download button, nothing happens. Given that I am a System's Engineer by trade, I thought that perhaps I cannot install 2 trial copies of adobe products on a single workstation so I tried downloading Lightroom 4 from 3 different PC/laptops but got the same results...
    Can anybody help. This is a bit frustrating given that the Adobe element trial is coming to an end (about 2 weeks) and I want to proceed with purchasing the RIGHT PRODUCT...

    The link, just above, is the latest update to LR 4.2 which may work fine.
    About the original trial download page you had issues with, it does take a few seconds for the download button to become active, and once you click it, it takes a few more seconds for either a login pop to come up or the download, itself, to start, so maybe you have a popup blocker enabled or some security that doesn’t allow the download to occur.  You might try a different browser.  The following link is what the download attempts to use, but you need to have signed in to your Adobe account before trying to use it, I think:

    I purchased the Adobe Photoshop Elements 13 & Premiere pkg on Friday night because the price seemed right $74.99 for both vs $119.99 or $149.99 depending on where you looked on the site for the pricing.
    The information to download this package has been nothing but a nightmare since I've begun, and the serial numbers provided via the e-mail from the Adobe store are not being accepted by the licensing portion of the download.

    When I click on the download page, this is the page I'm directed to. I've already downloaded the Akamai Download manager to no avail. When I reach the spot that requires me to type in my serial numbers, it tells me that they're not valid for Photoshop Elements 13, and when I switch the numbers, and use the one I assume is for the Premiere 13, I get the same message.
    Why is there no one at Adobe I can discuss this with?

    Thank you to all who have tried to assist me. I have since resolved this issue with Adobe by returning this product. I plan to use the Apple version that originally came with my computer in the near term.
    I was very disappointed to that at time of purchase no query was made as to which operating system I was using. When I finally reached tech support/chat at 12:00 am Monday morning, after waiting 2 hours, they were able to determine that someone at Adobe had sent me the wrong OS serial numbers for my computer. I was sent Windows OS serial numbers, but use a Mac. That was the problem.
    Somehow, during the download, Adobe's registration process was able to determine I was trying to run their product using a Mac, but my registration serial numbers were for the Windows OS.

    I am having trouble downloading the Photoshop Elements 12 trial.  (If it is ok, then I intend to upgrade from my previous v4.0 version)
    I have OSX 10.8.5 on an iMac.  This morning I am using Chrome Version 30.0.1599.66.  (I think that I used Safari yesterday)
    Yesterday during the download process (4mins to go) I had a power failure.  Repeating the download, 'extracting' was left running overnight and this morning I cancelled it and tried again.  I performed an uninstall, deleted the old .dmg files and started for a third time.
    It offered to install it in my Applications folder but, having read some error notices, I changed this to Desktop
    I then experienced the following message:
    The following disk images could not be opened
    Photoshop Elements 12  error -4960
    Extracting seems to be in progress
    Please advise

    If the download is completed in the Adobe Download Assistant you can temporarily turn off the feature to verify the checksum.  The following steps will allow you to temporarily disable this feature:
    Open the Disk Utility located in Applications/Utilities
    Go under the Disk Utility menu and select preferences
    Deselect the option to verify checksums
    Try mounting your DMG file
    I would recommend turning this feature back on though after the installation is complete.  Also if you notice this happening on additional files it can indicate a problem with your Internet connection.

    After clicking the .dmg file, simply click "SKIP" to avoid extraction issues.

    I have tried to download free trial of photoshop elements 12 so that I can then enter my serial number as purchased disc, without knowing did not have a disc reader in my MAC , i Try to download trial and it says that Adobe Assistant is to pop up and it does not, so download never starts, any suggestions

    Make sure you have cookies enabled.  If it continues to fail try using a different browser.
    Alternatively, you can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below without the involvement of the download assistant and then use your current serial number to activate it.
    Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.

    I'm trying to download AE CS3 right from the adobe.com website, and everything runs smoothly until i actually try to run the program.
    I download everything and then I click on the AE icon, and I get a dialog box asking if I want to:
    A) Type in a serial number
    B) Run as 30-day trial
    I chose "Run as a 30-day trial" and then the box says, "A problem was encountered while trying to load the trial period for Adobe After Effects. Click Quit to see if restarting your computer or reinstalling the software fixes this problem. Otherwise, click Continue to display a screen whereyou can enter a valid serial number to begin using the product without trial."
    I click Quit, and I restart my computer, but I get the same error message. What's wrong?
    I'm using Windows Vista 32-bit, and I made sure I chose that option when I started my download.

    Run the install as administrator (Right-click, run as...)!!! Vista requires you to do this to gain proper access to all system files and directories.

    I have tried to download Premiere Elements 11 trial.  I siccessfully did the Adobe Download assistant, but when I went to get the elements 11, it wasn't there.  I found a folder that is named Adobe Premiere Elements, but it has two subfolders, one that has ReadMe files in it, thge other is labeled PRE 11.  That file had a setup.exe file, which I tried, but it installed Photoshop 11 instead.
    How do I get the Premiere Elements 11 (or ten) installed?
